Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi digital terhadap pencegahan hoaks di media sosial TikTok pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2020. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/I FIS UNJ angkatan 2020 yang memiliki dan bermain media sosial Tiktok, teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampling total atau sensus dengan jumlah 73 responden. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi, regresi linear sederhana, uji parsial (uji T), dan koefisien determinasi. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital berpengaruh terhadap pencegahan hoaks di media sosial TikTok, bentuk pengaruh literasi digital terhadap pencegahan hoaks adalah positif dimana semakin tinggi angka literasi digital maka akan semakin tinggi pencegahan hoaks. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari koefisien determinasi atau nilai R square, literasi digital berpengaruh sebsar 26,5% terhadap pencegahan hoaks sedangkan 73,5% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

The sand mining activities leave a wide area ex-sand mining land. In Bambang Village, farmers who live in that area try to get their land back to produce agricultural activities that were used previously for sand mining. However, there are several obstacles to the sustainability of farming in this area, especially the matter of critical land issues, pest and disease attacks, unpredictability of price, and technology used still not optimized suboptimal use of technology. To analyze the sustainability index and the attributes that influence continuity of corn farming on post-mine sand land, a quantitative study was conducted used a five-dimension sustainability approach. This approach included the consist of ecological, economic, social, institutional, and technological dimensions. Data collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents which are divided into 72 of farmers and five key informants, so that, total of respondents are 77 people. Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) and leverage analysis were used to determine the attributes that influence sustainability. The results of the research show corn farming continuity on post-sand mining land produce a sustainability index for about 54.86%. It is considered quite able to maintain in terms of the economic dimension (62.12%), social dimension (60.82%), and institutional dimension (60.27%). Though, the ecological dimension (46.88%) and technological dimension (44.23%) were classified as weak in terms of sustainability. Additionally, leverage analysis shows about 25 sensitive attributes which is influenced the sustainability of corn farming on post-sand mining land.

Abstract

The role of youth in agricultural development is very important, but youth who are interested in agriculture tend to decrease every year. Youth in Karangan Village consider farming to be an unprofitable profession. They consider the economics of agricultural products to be very low so that most of them are not interested in agricultural activities. Therefore, the number of farmers decreases every year. So efforts to increase the interest of the younger generation to be involved in the agriculture sector. Motivational factors are needed to encourage someone to want to do something, and the motivational factor in question is interest. There are several factors that determine a person’s interest. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence youth interest in agriculture. This research was conducted on youth from Karangan Village, Kepohbaru District, Bojonegoro Regency, with 88 respondents from a total population of 785. Observation and questionnaires are techniques used by researchers to collect data. This research is quantitative research with data analysis using the SEM PLS method. This research uses 3 independent variables, namely individual characteristics (age, education, family), external factors (training and counseling, availability of natural resources, government support), and motivational factors (rewards, achievement, life demands) on the dependent variable, namely youth interest (enjoyment, involvement, interest). Factors that influence youth interest based on the result of the analysis are age, family, availability of natural resources, life demands and involvement.

Abstract

This research aims to examine competency's influence on functional officials' performance through equalization pathways. Employing an applied causal quantitative approach, the study surveyed functional officials from various universities, with 100 respondents. A questionnaire served as the instrument, encompassing variables such as competency, work motivation, work culture, and the performance of functional officials. Data analysis comprised descriptive and inferential analyses alongside multiple regression analysis techniques aimed at determining variable X's partial and simultaneous influence on variable Y. The findings revealed a positive correlation between competency (X) and performance (Y), indicating that higher competency levels corresponded to higher performance levels. In comparison, lower competency levels were associated with diminished performance. Thus, it can be inferred that a significant relationship exists between competency and the performance of functional officials.

Abstract

The main purpose of education is to foster and improve students' knowledge, skills and behaviors, enabling them to effectively apply their acquired abilities in the broader context of society. According to Chapter I Article 1 of the National Education System Number 20 of 2003, education is characterized as a deliberate and organized effort aimed at creating an environment conducive to learning and facilitating a process through which learners actively develop their innate abilities. The ultimate goal is to foster the development of spiritual resilience, religious understanding, self-discipline, individuality, intellectual intelligence, noble morals, and skills necessary for personal, community, nation, and state advancement.Many factors influence student achievement, including internal and external dimensions. Internal factors include various elements, including physical aspects such as health and disability, psychological factors such as intelligence, attention, interest, talent, motive, maturity, and readiness, and fatigue factors such as physical and mental fatigue. External influences include various aspects related to the family, including parenting, educational background, family relationships, home atmosphere, family economy, parental understanding, and cultural background. In addition, school factors summarize various elements such as learning strategies used by teachers, curriculum design, teacher-student interaction, student interaction, school policies, educational resources, school scheduling, lesson benchmarks, facility conditions, learning approaches, and homework assignments. The community aspect includes various elements such as student involvement in social activities, the impact of mass media, social relationships, and various forms of community involvement. Abstract

Climate change is a phenomenon of changes in global temperatures, seasons and erratic rainfall that have an impact on human activities, change people's lives, and etc. This research uses a quantitative survey method. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to obtain an overview of information, sources of information, perceptions and adaptation of farmers and logistic regression to determine the factors that influence farmers' climate change adaptation practices. The results showed that 67% of farmers felt climate change by relying on climate change information sources from newspapers/TV 42%, extension workers 28%, internet 16%, and friends/relatives 14%. Based on farmers' perceptions with a likert scale of 1= unchanged, 2=slightly changed 3=changed a lot, 4=very changed, climate change with many changing categories found in rainfall season (2.76) dry and rainy season (2.64), air temperature (2.63), length of rainy season (2.69), pest and disease attack (2.79), while the length of dry season changed slightly (2.46) with the most impact felt by farmers is the attack of pests and diseases that increase in longer rainy season. These findings imply that farmers, community organizations, and governments must be aware of climate change in order to mitigate the impact of losses on the rice crop agriculture sector. Farmers will benefit tremendously from the farmer adaptation process, group engagement, and government climate policies such as providing drought and flood-climate-resistant cultivars, early warning systems, facilities, and infrastructure.

Abstract

Citizenship Education in Elementary Schools: Factors Influencing Classroom Participation of College Students. Objective: this reseach aims to analyze the factors that influence the lack of participation of college students in citizenship education in elementary schools. Method: a descriptive quantitative approach applied in this research with 125 pre-service elementary school teachers at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa as participants. Data collection uses questionnaires and interviews. This research uses data validity and reliability using triangulation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model. Findings: among five factors influencing students’ classroom participation, motivation had the highest score causing the decline in student activity in citizenship education in elementary school (70.1%), followed by lecturers’ roles in the classroom (66.7%) as the trigger for the decline in student activity. Furthermore, 56.5% of student conditions, 51.2% of learning environment and 50.6% of student anxiety. Conclusion: there are five factors identified as the root causes of low student activity in citizenship education in elementary school including student anxiety, the learning environment, the role of the lecturer in the classroom, and the student's condition. Keywords: classroom participation, citizenship education in elementary school, college students.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v13.i3.202338

Abstract

Effectiveness of Geogebra Integration into Flipped Classroom (GFC)on Students Mathematics Skills: A Meta-Analysis Study. Previous research examining the effectiveness of Geogebra Integration into Flipped Classroom (GFC) on students' mathematics skills showed inconsistent results. Objectives: This research aims to conduct a meta-analysis study on the effectiveness of Geogebra integration into Flipped Classroom (GFC) and identify what factors moderate the effect of GFC on students' mathematical skills. Methods: The research method used meta-analysis. The samples in this study were 31 primary studies that met the specified inclusion criteria. Data analysis was conducted using comprehensive meta-analysis (CMA) software. Findings: The results of the analysis using the random-effects approach showed that the combined effect size was (g = 1.06; p < 0.01) (Large Effect Category). This indicates that GFC has a significant influence on students' mathematics skills. The result of moderator variable analysis shows that the effect of GFC implementation on students' mathematics skills is significantly different based on the variable of platform used (Qb = 21.98; p = 0.01), and publication type (Qb = 7.94; p = 0.01). However, it was not significantly different based on the variables of education level (Qb = 7.45; p = 0.06), experimental group capacity (Qb = 0.29; p = 0.62), and year of publication (Qb = 0.21; p = 0.64). The findings of this meta-analysis can serve as a basis for best practices in applying GFC to student mathematics skills Conclusion: The findings of this meta-analysis provide more accurate and comprehensive results regarding the inconsistent effects of size variation and enrich knowledge about the effectiveness of using GFC in improving students' mathematics skills. Keywords: geogebra into flipped classroom, mathematics skill, meta-analysis.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i3.2024119

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran gamfikasi berbantuan truth or dare terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMPN 236 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhitung pada bulan Januari hingga bulan Mei 2025 pada Semester genap tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Januari hingga Mei 2025 pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian Non-equalivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 70 siswa, yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelas eksperimen (VIII-E) dan kelas kontrol (VIII-D), masing-masing berjumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes pilihan ganda yang diberikan sebelum perlakuan (pretest) dan sesudah perlakuan (posttest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran gamifikasi berbantuan truth or dare terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,34 yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 73,80. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-Test, dan diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran gamifikasi berbasis truth or dare berpenaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 236 Jakarta.

Abstract

Aktivitas menonton film adalah suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh banyak orang sebagai penghilang rasa penat setelah melakukan berbagai kegiatan sehari-hari yang cukup melelahkan. Menonton film baru dahulu  hanya bisa dilakukan dengan kita pergi ke bioskop dengan jam tayang film yang sudah ditentukan, namun kegiatan tersebut terhambat ketika pandemi covid-19 melanda kehidupan manusia. Peraturan pemerintah yang melarang berkerumunan di luar rumah, mengharuskan banyak tempat umum harus tutup, salah satunya adalah bioskop. Maka dari itu, aktivitas hanya dapat dilakukan dirumah saja. Perubahan perilaku masyarakat ini semakin terdorong karena adanya pandemi covid-19, salah satunya adalah dengan adanya penggunaan teknologi. Kemajuan teknologi yang terus meningkat memudahkan berbagai aktivitas manusia, kini kita dapat menggunakan media online kapanpun dan dimanapun, termasuk media online streaming video on demand seperti Youtube, Netflix, Disney Hotstar+, VIU, Video, dan sebagainya. Artikel ini menjelaskan bagaimana terjadinya fenomena perilaku konsumen masyarakat, khususnya para generasi muda yang beralih dari awalnya menonton di bioskop menjadi menonton melaui platform online. Metode yang digunakan pada artikel ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data yang diperoleh pada artikel ini melalui studi pustaka serta penyebaran angket kuesioner pada 29 responden yang dilakukan pada tanggal bulan juli 2023. Berdasarkan angket kuesioner tersebut dapat ditemukan beberapa informasi, diantaranya adalah sebanyak 44.8% responden sangat setuju jika video on demand lebih fleksibel untuk ditonton kapan saja dan dimana saja. kemudian sebanyak 55.2% responden setuju jika penggunaan layanan video on demand kompatibel dengan teknologi yang dilakukan oleh responden.
