Abstract

Postpartum mothers often experience changes both physiologically and psychologically, one of which is a change in body reaction due to uterine contractions. This causes discomfort in the mother, especially in the abdominal area due to uterine contractions called afterpains. Pain due to uterine contractions (afterpains) requires treatment to be minimized or suppressed as little as possible. As a midwife who provides loving care for mothers, the pain felt by the mother needs to be intervened, one of which is by providing effleurage massage. To determine the effectiveness of effleurage massage on afterpains in multiparous postpartum mothers on day 1 with normal delivery at Medirossa 2 Cibarusah Hospital.: Quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest one group design. The sample in this study were all multiparous postpartum mothers on day 1 with normal delivery who met the inclusion criteria in November to December 2023 as many as 32 people, the sampling technique was total sampling. The research instrument used a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain scale observation sheet. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test. There was a decrease in pain intensity after effleurage massage intervention where before effleurage massage the median value was 4 (minimum 1, maximum 7) and the pain intensity after effleurage massage the median value was 2 (minimum 0, maximum 4). From the results of the Wilcoxon test, p.value = 0.000 (α <0.05) was obtained. There is effectiveness of effleurage massage on afterpains in multiparous postpartum mothers on day 1 with normal delivery at Medirossa 2 Cibarusah Hospital in 2023. It is hoped that midwives can apply effleurage massage as one of the techniques to relieve afterpains in postpartum mothers with normal delivery.

Abstract

The government that is running at this time is also not spared from public comments on Twitter, especially regarding the increase in subsidized fuel. There are at least 4 impacts felt by the community when subsidized fuel prices increase, namely a decrease in people's purchasing power, an increase in basic prices, an increase in the unemployment rate and an increase in the poverty rate. This study aims to implement the Naïve Bayes Classifier and KNN algorithms in classifying a tweet of an increase in subsidized fuel so that it can be identified as belonging to a class with positive or negative sentiments. The data used in this research are 560 tweets. The data is divided into 2, namely 500 training data from tweet data and 60 test data from tweet data stored in xlsx format. The results of the accuracy with the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm is 85% while the KN algorithm is 86.8% so it can be concluded that the KNN method is better than the Naïve Bayes Classifier method in classifying tweets of increases in subsidized fuel. Abstract

An imbalance between the body's antioxidant system capacity and free radical production can lead to oxidative stress, which ultimately causes the lipid peroxidation process. This phenomenon is commonly identified by increased superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and reduced malondialdehyde (MDA) concentrations. The objective of this study was to assess the efficacy of ethanolic papaya seed (Carica papaya L.) extract in modulating SOD and MDA levels in the heart tissue of male Sprague-Dawley rats subjected to a high-fat diet over 17 days. A total of 30 rats were used and allocated into six groups: a positive control (K+), a negative control (K−), a standard control (KN), and three treatment arms receiving oral doses of 150 mg/kgBW (P1), 250 mg/kgBW (P2), and 350 mg/kgBW (P3). The extraction process employed 70% ethanol through maceration. The lowest MDA average was recorded in the P3 group (3.50±1.65), whereas the K-group exhibited the highest level (24.45±4.71). In terms of SOD, the K+ group had the highest mean (65.46±5.93), and the K− group the lowest (36.34±7.57). Statistical analysis using Tukey’s test showed that administration of 350 mg/kg body weight extract yielded results closely resembling those of the positive control. However, the observed differences did not reach statistical significance (p > 0.05). The conclusion is that administration of papaya seed extract at a dose of 350 mg/kgBW has the potential to reduce MDA levels and increase SOD levels, with effects similar to positive controls.

Abstract

This research examines the strategic role of school committees in improving the quality of education in Indonesia through a systematic literature review method. The background of the research is based on the gap between the ideal legal basis as stipulated in the National Education System Law and its derivative regulations and the realization of implementation in the field, which results in limitations in monitoring the use of education funds, especially School Operational Assistance (BOS) and Special Allocation Funds (DAK). The lack of training, lack of transparency and low stakeholder involvement are the main factors that open up opportunities for corrupt practices and budget irregularities, which have a negative impact on the quality of education services. The purpose of this study is to identify factors that influence the effectiveness of school committees and formulate strategic recommendations to improve supervisory capacity and accountability in the management of education funds. The method used is a systematic literature review, which is a structured approach in collecting, filtering and synthesizing secondary data from various sources such as scientific journals, policy reports, education regulations, as well as official documents from relevant institutions such as Indonesia Corruption Watch and OECD. The results show that despite a strong legal basis, implementation in the field still faces significant operational and structural obstacles. The gap between theory and practice indicates the need for capacity building through structured training programs and the implementation of digital reporting systems to improve transparency. Thus, this study concludes that optimizing the role of school committees is key to improving the quality of national education and suggests policy reforms that focus on improving oversight and active stakeholder participation
