Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school principal leadership in improving teachers' work discipline at SDIT Kartika Buana Boja Kendal. Effective leadership plays a crucial role in creating a conducive work environment and enhancing teacher performance. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consist of the school principal, teachers, and administrative staff. Data analysis follows the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the school principal acts as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, and motivator. The principal enforces discipline through strict supervision, sanctions, and rewards for outstanding teachers. Furthermore, the leadership strategies implemented successfully enhance teachers' professionalism and sense of responsibility in performing their duties. This study provides insights into the effectiveness of school principal leadership in improving teachers' work discipline through a holistic approach. It also emphasizes the importance of balancing firmness with a motivational approach to enhance educators' discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The application of the Problem Solving learning model based on 21st century learning in science learning for grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Mbeleang. (2) How the Problem Solving learning model based on 21st century learning can improve the creativity and science learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri 1 Mbeleang. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. Data collection techniques use learning outcome tests and observation sheets, analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The subjects of the study were 13 grade IV students, consisting of 5 boys and 8 girls. The results of the study showed an increase in the effectiveness of the Problem Solving learning model based on 21st century learning in improving creativity and learning outcomes with the average value of student learning outcomes increasing from 65.85% in cycle I to 79.69% in cycle II. Students' creativity also increased, with 2 students (15.38%) classified as very good, 8 students (61.54%) classified as good, and 3 students (23.07%) classified as sufficient in cycle II. The researcher concluded that the problem-solving model based on 21st century learning can improve creativity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe strengthening religious moderation through political education in East Kotawaringin Regency. This strengthening was carried out through two activities by the National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) and the Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB). This type of research uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique goes through stages in the form of: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that strengthening religious moderation in East Kotawaringin Regency was carried out through collaboration between government and non-government institutions, elements of society and community organizations (ormas). The emphasis is on instilling the values of tolerance in politics through; respecting each individual's choice in elections, avoiding fraudulent practices or being involved in money politics, the practice of exercising the right to vote, associating and assembling without any intervention from any party, equal rights for every citizen in politics and changing the mental attitude of the younger generation . The development of the concept of religious moderation in this city needs to be reviewed again regarding its effectiveness in society.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop a local wisdom-based e-module for fourth-grade elementary students by integrating the Nek Pung dance, a traditional art from Tebo Regency, Jambi Province. The dance reflects cultural values such as gratitude, resilience, and appreciation of life, which are increasingly unfamiliar to younger generations. Integrating this cultural heritage into learning is essential for both educational quality and cultural preservation. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the development stage, the e-module was validated by two experts. The material aspect scored 3.6 and 3.5, the media aspect 3.7 and 3.3, and the language aspect 3.7 and 3.6, all falling within the “valid” to “very valid” category. Practicality testing by three expert practitioners resulted in total scores of 42, 42, and 43, with an average practicality level categorized as “very practical.” In a small group trial with five students, the e-module received average ratings between 3.5 and 3.7, indicating strong usability. These findings suggest that the e-module is valid, practical, and effective in supporting learning and enhancing students' appreciation of local culture. This product demonstrates that integrating local wisdom in digital learning media is a meaningful strategy for education and cultural sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of video media usage in Civic Education (PKn) learning on students’ conceptual understanding at SDN Limbung Puteri, Gowa Regency. In the face of rapid technological development, the use of multimedia has become an innovative learning approach to increase students’ engagement and comprehension. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design using a control group. The fifth-grade students were divided into two groups: the experimental class, which received learning through video media, and the control class, which was taught using conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through concept understanding tests administered before and after the learning sessions. The analysis showed a significant improvement in the post-test scores of the experimental group compared to the control group. This suggests that video media effectively enhances students' grasp of Civic Education concepts, which are often abstract and value-oriented. Video presentations make the learning content more relatable, visual, and interactive, thus facilitating deeper understanding. The study concludes that the integration of video media in Civic Education positively influences students' conceptual understanding and recommends its use as a supportive learning tool, especially in primary schools like SDN Limbung Puteri. The findings contribute to the growing evidence that multimedia-based learning strategies can improve educational outcomes and are especially beneficial in subjects requiring contextual and moral comprehension such as Civic Education.

Abstract

The occurrence of Covid-19 resulted in a decrease in people's income levels which was also experienced by several student families, especially in the UNM Applied English study program. These problematic conditions became the reason for the service team to plan community service activities for students of the Bahasa Inggri Terapan D4 FBS UNM. This service activity is carried out in the form of a seminar as an introduction to ornamental plant entrepreneurship, ornamental plant business management and how to do online marketing. This seminar is an introductory stage and a discussion session to share experiences in managing an ornamental plant business, so that students can participate and be successful with their ornamental plant business in the future. It is hoped that the ornamental plant business can help their family's economy so that they can focus more on continuing their studies in the future. Abstrak Terjadinya Covid-19 mengakibatkan penurunan tingkat penghasilan masyarakat juga dialami oleh beberapa keluarga mahasiswa khususnya di prodi Bahasa Inggris terapan UNM. Kondisi permasalahan tersebut menjadi alasan bagi tim pengabdi untuk melakukan rencana kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bagi mahasiwa Prodi Bahasa Inggris Terapan D4 FBS UNM. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanankan dalam bentuk seminar sebagai pengenalan kewirausahan tanaman hias, managemen pengelolaan usaha tanaman hias dan bagaimana melakukan pemasaran secara online. Seminar ini merupakan tahap pengenal dan sesi diskusi share pengalaman mengelola usaha tanaman hias, agar para mahasiswa dapat mengikuti dan sukses dengan usaha tanaman hias mereka dikemudian hari. Usaha tanaman hias diharapkan dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga mereka sehingga mereka dapat lebih fokus melanjutkan tugas studi mereka dimasa depan.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji relevansi metode-metode pembelajaran dalam Al-Qur’an dan penerapannya dalam dunia pendidikan Islam. Dengan merujuk pada beberapa ayat seperti Q.S. Al-‘Alaq: 1, Q.S. Hud: 120, Q.S. Al-Baqarah: 189, Q.S. Al-Kahfi: 77, dan Q.S. An-Nahl: 125, ditemukan bahwa Al-Qur’an tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai petunjuk spiritual, tetapi juga sebagai sumber inspirasi pedagogis. Ayat-ayat tersebut mengandung prinsip-prinsip pendidikan seperti metode membaca, bercerita, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, keteladanan, hikmah, ceramah, dan diskusi. Metode-metode ini mencerminkan pendekatan pendidikan yang menyeluruh, mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis metode pembelajaran yang terdapat dalam Al-Qur’an serta mengevaluasi relevansinya terhadap praktik pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan metode pembelajaran. Data dianalisis dengan menafsirkan makna ayat dan mengaitkannya dengan teori-teori pendidikan kontemporer. Dalam konteks pendidikan modern, nilai-nilai tersebut sangat relevan untuk membentuk peserta didik yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga tangguh secara karakter dan spiritual. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Qur’ani dalam metode pembelajaran dapat memperkaya sistem pendidikan Islam, sekaligus menjawab tantangan krisis karakter dan rendahnya budaya literasi di kalangan peserta didik.

Abstract

The phenomenon of 'No Viral, No Justice' illustrates a shift in the paradigm of law enforcement in the digital age. Virality on social media is often a determining factor in driving the response of law enforcement officials. This study examines the role of social media virality in shaping public access to justice in Indonesia, known as the 'No Viral, No Justice' phenomenon. Using a socio-legal approach, this study analyzes the dynamics between digital public pressure and the response of law enforcement agencies in a number of cases that went viral. The results show that virality can accelerate the state's response in handling a case and open space for public participation. However, this phenomenon also has the potential to undermine fundamental principles in the judicial system, particularly the principle of due process of law, and create disparities in the handling of viral and non-viral cases. This study recommends the importance of formulating a regulatory framework that balances public participation through digital media as a tool for social control with the protection of the integrity, independence, and objectivity of the legal system. In conclusion, justice is not solely determined by media exposure but by the upholding of a legal system that ensures certainty, substantive justice, and the protection of the human rights of every citizen.

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) has an important role in creating a safe and productive work environment at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. The implementation of K3 aims to protect educators, students, and staff from the risk of accidents and occupational diseases. This study discusses the implementation of K3 in madrasas, including policies, procedures, and challenges faced in its implementation. Some of the advantages of implementing K3 in madrassas include increasing awareness of safety, reducing the risk of accidents, and increasing comfort in the learning process. However, there are also obstacles such as budget limitations, lack of understanding of educators, and lack of supporting facilities. The results of the study show that the optimal implementation of K3 can increase the effectiveness of learning, create a healthier school environment, and reduce the number of accidents in madrasas. Therefore, support from various parties, including the government, schools, and the community, is needed to increase understanding and procurement of adequate K3 facilities. This study is expected to be the basis for the formulation of K3 policies at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah to create a safer and conducive learning environment.

Abstract

Industri komponen otomotif dituntut untuk memenuhi standar kualitas dan efisiensi yang sangat tinggi untuk menjaga daya saing. PT. Astra Mandiri Jaya (AMJ), sebagai pemasok komponen interior, menghadapi tantangan berupa bottleneck pada salah satu lini perakitan manual. Masalah utama teridentifikasi pada stasiun kerja perakitan panel pintu, di mana proses pemasangan klip dan sekrup secara manual memakan waktu lama dan rentan terhadap kesalahan, seperti komponen yang hilang atau tidak terpasang sempurna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan modifikasi pada assembly jig (alat bantu perakitan) dengan pendekatan Poka-Yoke untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keandalan proses. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi jig dengan penambahan sensor deteksi dan aktuator pneumatik berhasil menurunkan waktu baku perakitan secara drastis. Waktu baku sebelum perbaikan adalah 5,54 detik/komponen, dan setelah perbaikan turun menjadi 2,57 detik/komponen. Hal ini menghasilkan peningkatan efisiensi waktu sebesar 53,61% serta eliminasi potensi cacat produk lolos ke proses selanjutnya.
