Abstract

The writing of the Student Creativity Program (SCP) titles has its appeal and uniqueness. One of which can be seen in the process of forming words in the form of acronyms. This article aims to describe the process and results of the formation of acronyms on the writing of SCP titles funded in 2018. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research data are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences in the SCP titles. The source of research data is the SCP titles from 5 fields in 2018. Data collection uses observation and note-taking techniques. The method of data analysis is the constituent analysis method and its expansion techniques, namely techniques of removing, inserting, replacing, and expanding. The data validity test uses theory triangulation. The results show that the formation of acronyms produced five forms of acronyms on the writing of the SCP titles, namely acronyms derived from two words, three words, four words, five words, and more than five words. Three acronym formation processes are found, namely using the initial letters of words, using syllables or fragments of words, and using mixes of initial letters of words and syllables or fragments of words.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the Merdeka Curriculum innovation, focusing on fostering students independent learning characteristics in the context of mathematics subjects at the elementary school level, using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes students freedom in learning, encouraging independence and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. The research was conducted using the CAR method with four main stages, following the Miles and Huberman model, which employs a comprehensive and intertwined analysis approach. The activities in this data analysis include 1) Data collection; 2) Data reduction; 3) Preliminary presentation/display of data; and 4) Drawing conclusions. The research results indicate an improvement in students independent learning characteristics in mathematics subjects through the Merdeka Curriculum innovation. There is increased active involvement of students in learning, with a higher level of independence demonstrated in solving mathematical problems. Teachers play a crucial role in delivering materials in an engaging manner, utilizing learning media, and providing individual support to students. Despite significant progress, some obstacles remain, such as varying levels of understanding among students. Therefore, this research recommends continuous reflection and adjustments in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum to enhance students independent learning characteristics sustainably. The implementation of P5 innovation in the Merdeka Curriculum can positively contribute to developing students independent learning characteristics in elementary school.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the teaching and learning process for students. The learning process that was initially carried out face-to-face is now replaced by other methods. Various innovations were carried out by teachers to convey thematic dissemination of the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to describe thematic learning innovations in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants consisted of the principal, homeroom teacher, and students. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observations, and documentation. This study uses triangulation techniques and source triangulation in testing the validity of data. The data analysis technique uses Creswells theory. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that thematic learning innovations in this pandemic era are carried out in various ways, namely: (1) Using the SCI (Smart, Creative, Innovative) Online Media application, whose innovation is in the form of creating various question types and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) levels, (2) Zoom Meet innovation is the delivery of various learning methods, conducting virtual group discussions, evaluation in the form of quizzes, (3) YouTube innovation in the form of a video with a background in the form of Microsoft PowerPoint, which contains material and uses comments on YouTube as attendance. (4) the use of Microsoft PowerPoint; the innovation is in the form of creating summary modules from thematic learning materials. Online learning using these innovations can effectively deliver thematic learning materials in distance learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the improvement of digital writing skills by using LKPD based on the make a match model. This research was conducted at SD N Pajang 03, precisely in the lower grade. This research method is descriptive qualitative, with literature study. The data obtained came from primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from direct observation by researchers. Meanwhile, secondary data comes from books, articles, and other written works. There are three ways in data collection techniques, namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely 1) Data collection; 2) data reduction; 3) data display / data presentation; and 4) drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data, researchers used data tringulation techniques, namely by combining the data obtained and reinforced with theories from the results of literature studies or other related research. The results of this study indicate that digital writing skills through LKPD based on the make a match model in low-grade elementary school students are stated to increase, this is evidenced by an increase in digital writing skills between cycle 1 (number of 20 students, good category 14 students with 70% presentation, quite good 5 students with 25% presentation, and very good category 1 student with 5% presentation). There was an increase in Cycle II with an increase in presentation of 35% in the very good category and a decrease in presentation of 10%. The conclusion is that the use of LKPD based on the make a match model can improve the digital writing skills of low grade elementary schools.

The study data were in the form of comments from Jokowi's Instagram account followers who had positive politico pragmatic politeness. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation, note-taking techniques, and continued with heuristic listening techniques. Data analysis was performed with an intralingual equivalent technique which was strengthened by an extra lingual equivalent and sharpened with Levinson's politeness analysis technique based on the principle of harmony in Javanese culture. The results of the study showed that the form of positive politeness acts that were most used by followers was by giving attention to the speech partners. Political propaganda power of dominant followers’ comments was in the form of the power to ask and support rather than the power of praise, the power of influence, the power of motivation, and the power of suggestion. It shows that Instagram account followers have an optimistic attitude towards Jokowi's leadership. Jokowi's managerial, and leadership performance has a positive face among followers. This power of praise, motivation, and advice is an essential component in the formation of children's character education in the current era of disruption of education.
