Abstract

The development of digital social media has transformed patterns of political communication, particularly in the discourse surrounding the 2024 presidential debate, which often triggers polarization and neglects the principles of politeness. In this context, digital literacy plays a vital role in maintaining the quality of online interaction. This study aims to examine the forms of moderated politeness used by netizens and assess their levels of digital literacy within the 2024 presidential debate on social media. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research analysed 51 posts and comments from X, Instagram, and TikTok, based on Leech’s politeness maxims and Rheingold’s digital literacy indicators. The data were collected through observation, tapping, non-participatory observation, and note-taking, then analysed using a pragmatic identity method. The findings reveal that the maxim of approbation is the most dominant form of politeness as an expression of affirmative support, while the maxim of modesty is the least observed due to the competitive nature of digital political discourse. Network awareness emerged as the highest digital literacy indicator, whereas collaboration ranked the lowest due to limited active participation and one-way communication tendencies. This study offers a theoretical contribution by formulating an integrative cyber-pragmatic moderation model demonstrating that rhetorical choices and digital literacy skills shape digital political interaction in creating polite and productive discourse.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) policy launched by the Indonesian government in early 2025 is one of the strategic programs in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025–2029. This program aims to improve the nutritional status of school-age children, pregnant women, and toddlers as a long-term investment in the development of quality human resources. This article examines the implementation of the MBG policy using a public policy analysis approach with a systematic literature review method. Data were collected from various scientific journals, government reports, and policy documents published between 2021 and 2026. The results of the study show that the MBG program has significant potential in improving student learning achievement and concentration, reducing stunting rates, and encouraging local economic growth through the involvement of SMEs and local farmers. However, the implementation of this program faces various challenges, including limited distribution infrastructure, regional capacity gaps, potential budget leakage, and lack of cross-sector coordination. Policy implications from these findings include the need for strengthened governance, development of program management human resources, and integration of MBG within a comprehensive national education system policy framework. This research confirms that the success of MBG is highly dependent on synergy between the central government, regional governments, the private sector, and the community in a holistic educational ecosystem.

Abstract

This study is intended to describe the learning innovations that teachers make during and after the emergency remote teaching in Indonesia. Distance learning that was suddenly implemented due to the Covid-19 pandemic had a broad impact on all aspects of education. It is qualitative research with steps of collecting data through observation and interviews, whether structured or unstructured, documentation, and visual materials. The data were analyzed using grounded theory.  The results showed that there were innovations in methods, development of teaching materials, and teachers-parents communication. Before the pandemic, communication between teachers and parents was mostly done only once a semester, but now teachers communicate with parents more often. Learning methods also vary by integrating various media. Media is no longer just using whiteboards or projectors, but more variations of media are used by teachers. Teaching materials are no longer only from one learning source but are obtained from more varied learning sources.

Aligning Beliefs and Learning; Exploring the Dynamics of Islamic Internalisation in Educational Dichotomy. Islamic education offers mercy for all nature that is able to guide the lives of all nature. Islamic education faces challenges in the global era that confronts the competence of modern life. Changes in the pattern and form of Islamic education must be able to answer the needs of the times. Islamic education must strive to never stop the process of building and educating the nation's children across generations. This research aims to investigate the relationship between belief and learning in the context of the dynamics of Islamic internalisation in the dichotomy of education. Education is often regarded as a platform for transmitting religious values, including Islam, to the younger generation. The research method involves a qualitative study with a literature review phenomenological approach to understand the relationship between the dichotomy of science and Islamic education in Indonesian human character education. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify major themes and patterns in the literature. The results provide an in-depth understanding of how beliefs are influenced by learning experiences, as well as the extent to which formal and informal experiences play a role in the internalisation of Islamic values. Islamic education should be implemented through an interdisciplinary educational approach that integrates Islamic concepts and values with other disciplines. The practical implications of this research can be used to develop more effective learning methods in responding to learners' spiritual and moral needs, while considering the dynamics of Islamic internalisation in the two dimensions of education. Abstract

It is crucial for advanced writing learning to have learning modules that allow students to cultivate holistic writing skills through a integrated feedback method. Nonetheless, the current modules do not include a thorough needs assessment, which restricts their applicability and efficiency. An examination of the teaching module, focused on the specific context and learning requirements, provides a thorough framework to facilitate advanced writing learning. This research analyzed the requirements of both lecturers and students concerning a holistic writing module that incorporates integrated feedback, focusing on the target situation (needs and lacks) and learning needs (preferences). The research employs the ADDIE development framework, with a focus on the analysis phase. Data were collected via questionnaires, interviews, and observations, and subsequently analyzed qualitatively using descriptive statistics. The findings revealed that the mean score for the need for the teaching module was 3.29, whereas the mean score for the lack of it was 2.72. This indicates a need for additional development of the teaching module. Learning observation results support this information, with an average score of 2.45, categorized as good. Students require a holistic writing module that incorporates integrated feedback. This research suggests that teaching modules for English Language Teaching (ELT) should be designed through a learner-centered and technology-supported approach to support advanced learning, innovative learning design, and contextual literacy development in higher education. Future research should involve developing and evaluating writing module to verify their efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the types of ambiguity of meaning and their forms of realization in netizens' comments on the Instagram account @totalpolitikcom, thereby describing the characteristics of ambiguous communication in online spaces. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were selected using a purposive sampling technique that focuses on comments containing ambiguity such as satire and sarcasm. Data collection was carried out using the listening and note-taking technique, while data analysis used the distribution method with the Direct Element Sharing (BUL) technique and advanced techniques. The results of the study indicate two types of ambiguity: lexical and grammatical ambiguity. Lexical ambiguity consists of homonymy and polysemy, which appear in the form of evaluative words, metaphorical phrases, informal language, emoticons, and the use of adjectives and generic expressions. Meanwhile, grammatical ambiguity appears in the form of parallel phrases, elliptical structures, unclear contexts, and the formation of non-standard words such as slang and informal word combinations. These findings suggest that ambiguity is a common communication strategy in digital interactions and contributes to the development of pragmatic literacy in cyberspace. The limitation of this study lies in the focus on data that only comes from Instagram comments on @totalpolitikcom, thus it does not yet represent the entire phenomenon of ambiguity on social media. Future research is recommended to expand the object of study to other platforms and to develop digital pragmatic analysis in order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding.
