Early Childhood Education which is a form of non-formal education by emphasizing the laying of the foundation towards physical growth and development (fine and gross motor coordination), intelligence (thinking power, creativity, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence), socio emotional ( attitudes and behavior as well as religion), language, and communication, in accordance with the uniqueness and stages of development that are passed by early childhood. Therefore, Early Childhood Education plays an important role in children's education. Through Early Childhood Education, children can be educated by their teachers with clear methods and curriculum. They can play and channel their energy through various physical activities, music, or hand skills. Can learn to interact interpersonal and intrapersonal. They can gradually be introduced to letters or reading, the environment, agriculture and even industry. The introduction is not excessive, because the delivery is adapted to the world of children, namely the world of play so that the learning process is fun. Children often express their ideas and feelings through play, so that when they feel enjoy and happy with what is taught, it will automatically benefit their development.

Abstract

Non-formal education through life skills education has shown a positive contribution to poverty reduction in rural areas, although it still requires efforts to develop various life skills education models through research and development. This is based on the idea that improving the quality of the poor requires a development effort that is carried out in a planned, structured, and based on scientific and objective thinking. This study aims to produce a life skills education model that can play a role in poverty reduction in rural areas. The results showed that: first, the assessment of life skills education needs in the two target groups was carried out using 4-H life skills thinking (head / brain, hands / hands, heart / heart, and health / health). Life skills needs in the target groups in the two programs referred to show conditions that are not much different, where the two groups still need to be developed aspects of the brain, hands, and heart. In addition, a validated 4-H life skills education model was formulated. Second, based on the conditions found, a series of life skills education development activities carried out include vocational training, the provision of learning experiences through field observations, discussions and reflections on vocational training results and observations, implementation of 4-H model non-vocational life skills training, and evaluation of educational outcomes carried out . The development model that was tested was then validated. Evaluation results indicate an increase in educational output held in the two target groups of the program. Therefore, in the context of poverty reduction, the 4-H PKH model needs to be developed in a more structured and integrative way and guarantee all life skills that are the focus of developing life skills to overcome poverty.

Abstract

Actual education applies in association between adults and children. Education in the association between adults and children. Intercourse between adults and adults is not called association education (pedagogical association) because in that association adults accept and take responsibility for their own influence. Pedagogical association exists only between adults and children (people who are not yet mature). However, we must remember that not every association between adults and children is educational. Many relationships and relationships are neutral in nature, which are pedagogical, for example, parents ask to take glasses not because they intend to educate, but because they themselves are reluctant to take. For example, a person who propaganda to sell obscene books to children cannot be called a pedagogical association
