Abstract

This article aims to examine the Qur’anic parenting model found in Surah Luqman verses 12–19 as an educational framework for shaping a Rabbani generation. This study employs a qualitative approach using the library research method, analyzing both classical and contemporary exegeses as well as Islamic educational literature. The findings reveal that Luqman’s parenting approach encompasses five main aspects: the inculcation of tawhid (monotheism), awareness of Allah’s constant supervision, education in worship and ethics, the formation of social etiquette, and a communication style rooted in wisdom and compassion. These values play a significant role in shaping individuals who are faithful, morally upright, and socially responsible. This parenting model is not only relevant within the context of Muslim families but can also be integrated into both formal and non-formal education systems to foster an Islamic character and prepare individuals to face contemporary challenges. By using the Qur’an as the foundation of education, a holistic Rabbani generation is expected to emerge spiritually, morally, and socially grounded.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of the Qur'an and Sunnah as foundational sources of Islamic epistemology in addressing the challenges of Society 5.0. Through a qualitative library research approach, the research analyzes primary and secondary sources, including classical and contemporary Islamic texts, to explore the epistemological framework that harmonizes revelation, reason, and empirical knowledge. The findings reveal that the Qur'an, with its emphasis on 'ilm (knowledge) mentioned over 700 times, and the Sunnah, as the practical interpretation of the Qur'an, collectively form a holistic paradigm for scientific and technological development. The study highlights the concept of Tawhidic Science, which integrates spiritual values with modern advancements, offering ethical guidelines for emerging technologies like AI and big data. Additionally, the research demonstrates how Prophetic traditions provide solutions for contemporary issues such as mental health, environmental sustainability, and social justice. The study concludes that the Qur'an and Sunnah serve as dynamic, living traditions (living tradition) capable of guiding Muslim societies through digital transformation while maintaining moral and spiritual integrity. This integrative approach not only counters the materialistic tendencies of modern science but also fosters a balanced civilization rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

The availability of water in the Pucak watershed is not always sufficient to meet all these needs simultaneously. This problem is exacerbated by climate change which causes changes in weather and erratic river flows. Climate uncertainty causes the weather to be unpredictable as it should be. This research aims to analyze the mainstay discharge of the Pucak Sub-watershed to ensure sustainable water availability. The analysis was carried out using daily discharge data for the last 10 years obtained from the nearest observation station. Data processing methods include the F.J Mock method and the Arithmetic method with certain reliability (Q80%, Q90% and Q99%). The research results show that the availability of water in the Pucak watershed for irrigation, raw water and hydroelectric power needs is met every month except in September. In the F.J Mock method the reliable Q80% discharge is 44.05 m³/sec, the Q90% discharge is 36.08 m³/sec and the Q99% discharge is 33.66 m³/sec. Meanwhile, the reliable Arithmetic method of Q80% discharge is 27.92 m³/second, Q90% discharge is 21.96 m³/second and Q99% discharge is 16.64 m³/second. These discharges are sufficient to meet various needs, but there is the potential for water shortages at the peak of the dry season

Abstract

Over time the flow rate will decrease so that the reservoir pressure will decrease, so it is necessary to optimize or increase the flow rate. To overcome the above, an artificial lift is used or what is called an “Artificial Lift”. Artificial Lift is an artificial lift method that is useful for adding pressure to the fluid so that it can flow up to the surface. At this well, the initial Artificial lift Design is being carried out using ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) to become a Gas lift with the Continuous flow method. The purpose of this analysis is to see the potential installation of a continuous flow gas lift in the “F-1” well. The result of the IPR curve analysis from the calculation show that the “F-1” well has a maximum flow rate of 6704.7 bfpd. So that the well can still be optimized with the Gas lift design. Based on the Gas lift design, the desired flow rate is 5300 bfpd. In the F-1 well, it is known that the injection gas is 1,355,600 scf/day. As well as the location of the depth of valve 1 is at a depth of 2100 ft, valve 4 is at a depth of 2500 ft, valve 5 is at a depth of 2850 ft ( operation valve), and additional valves can be installed BE1 at 2344 ft and BE2 at 2489 ft.

Abstract

Hydrocarbon production forecasting is the process of projecting oil or gas production over a period of time. One commonly used method is production modeling with Decline Curve Analysis (DCA). Many previous studies have used the Trial Error and Chisquare test method in DCA. However, this method has limitations including: long calculation time, modeling is done manually and not automatically, and the fit of the production curve with the data is often inaccurate. To overcome these limitations, a method that is fast, automatic and produces accurate curves with data is needed. One of them is the Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm (LMA) numerical optimization approach. The Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm method is an iterative method used to solve nonlinear optimization problems. The Levenberg Marquardt Algorithm method has advantages such as: reliability, fast convergence, and has been widely applied in engineering optimization problems. This study aims to forecast hydrocarbon production, calculate EUR (Estimated Ultimate Recovery) and ERR (estimated remaining reserve) at well HS-0105 AG field. First, a DCA program based on LMA was developed with the MATLAB programming language. After that, the production data is inputted into the LMA program to do production modeling until the optimum curve is obtained. After obtaining the optimum DCA curve, a comparison was made with the curve resulting from trial and error. From the results of DCA curve optimization with LMA, the RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) value = 101,756, R2 (R-squared) value = 0,574, computation time 2-3 seconds in the Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm (LMA) method while the Trial Error and Chisquare test method RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) value 128.905 R2 (R squared) value = 0.569 and long computation time. From the comparison results, the Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm (LMA) method is much better than Trial Error and is recommended for use. Based on the Decline Curve Analysis with the Levenberg-Marquardt Algorithm (LMA) method, the EUR (Estimated Ultimate Recovery) value is 14339,525 STB and the ERR (estimated remaining reserve) value is 7693,091 STB at the HS-0105 well in the AG field. With the results of this projection, it is expected that the production of the HS-0105 well in the AG field can be stimulated to withstand the rate of decline in production and even increase.

Abstract

Well kick is the entry of formation fluid into the drill hole which causes formation pressure greater than the hydrostatic pressure of the drilling mud. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors cause a kick to occur, and how to repeat the kick using the wait and weight method. The wait and weight method is a kick countermeasures method with one circulation by new heavy mud. Steps to counteract well kick in the "MTM" well using the wait and weight method, namely by collecting drilling data, analyzing it with calculations of formation pressure when a kick occurs, hydrostatic pressure, KMW, ICP, FCP, maximum allowable mud weight, number of pump strokes , circulation time. Evaluate by comparing the calculation results with implementation data in the field, concluding the evaluation results. The results of the analysis of the implementation of well kick countermeasures using the wait and weight method obtained the initial formation pressure of 6888.16 psi, hydrostatic pressure of 6738.16 psi, KMW of 15.54 ppg, ICP of 1550 psi, FCP of 1431 psi, maximum allowable mud weight of 660.98 psi, total pump stroke was 0.1428 bbl/stk, and circulation time was 47,5 minutes. Well kick was successfully overcome using the wait and weight method.

Abstract

The reservoir layer in the FAY field is sandstone which is categorized as having low permeability. An evaluation was carried out on the AML-14 well to determine the cause of failure of the hydraulic fracturing work carried out on the well and its handlers The evaluation carried out in the FAY field included validating IPR data before hydraulic fracturing, pressure obtained during the step rate test, fracture geometry obtained after hydraulic fracturing, average permeability value, and increase in IPR value using the vogel method. Based on the results of the evaluation carried out, it can be seen that the pressure obtained during the step rate test was around 2602 Psi and the fracture flow rate was 1.2 Bpm which caused a screen out. The obtained fracture conductivity is about 6200 md-ft. The average permeability value obtained is 79 mD. The results of the fracturing carried out were that production decreased from the previous 154,626 Bopd to 15,757 Bopd. These results indicate that the hydraulic fracturing operation on the AML-14 well can be declared a failure due to a screen out that has an impact on production results that are not as expected. Handling of the well can be done by installing gravel pack conditions as well as slug pumping of sand which can effectively reduce the problem of placing sand into the wellbore.

Abstract

Well “HE-04” in Field “S” is a hydrocarbon production well located in a reservoir with relatively low permeability, measured at 10.80 mD. This low permeability results in a low productivity index (PI). To enhance well productivity, hydraulic fracturing was performed to create conductivity between the reservoir and the wellbore, with the objective of increasing the PI. Hydraulic fracturing involves injecting fluid at high pressure to create fractures in the formation, followed by the placement of proppant to keep the fractures open. However, post-fracturing results indicated that the dimensionless fracture conductivity (FCD), which represents the fracture conductivity, remained low. Therefore, evaluation and optimization of the fracture geometry are necessary to achieve optimal conductivity and improve PI. This study evaluates the PI using the Prats method and optimizes the fracture geometry by redesigning the initial fracture using the Unified Fracture Design (UFD) method within the Perkins-Kern-Nordgren (PKN) geometry model. The process begins with an evaluation of the actual PI, followed by redesigning the fracture geometry to determine the maximum fracture dimensions. This maximum geometry is then optimized using the UFD method to obtain the most effective geometry. The optimization results show that the maximum fracture volume that can be generated is 685.51 m³, with a resulting FCD value of 8.37. The fold of increase (FOI) reached 8.54, an improvement of 5.43 compared to the actual FOI. This indicates that the optimized PI increased by 8.54 times from its initial value. Thus, the optimized fracture geometry design proves to be effective in enhancing the productivity of well “HE-04”.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the technical calculations involved in the cementing process of two production wells, namely Well “S” and Well “I”. The main focus includes the evaluation of slurry volume, spacer, displacing fluid, and reverse circulation required in the squeeze cementing operation. Calculations were performed by considering parameters such as annular capacity, casing and tubing volumes, perforation interval length, and the number of shots per foot. In Well “S”, the slurry volume used for the squeeze was 2.1132 bbl, while in Well “I”, it reached 28.8389 bbl. Additionally, slurry height and level, spacer volume, and the required displacing and reverse circulation fluids were determined. Class G cement was used in this study, combined with various additives including an accelerator (SSA-1), fluid loss control agents (Halad-344, Halad-433, Halad-314), a retarder (SCR-500), and antifoaming agents (D-Air 02 and D-Air), tailored to meet the specific needs of each well to optimize the rheological properties and thickening time of the slurry. The results indicate that accurate calculation of all cementing parameters is essential to ensure the success of the operation and long-term well integrity.
