Abstract

AbstractIschemic stroke is an uncommon complication of nephrotic syndrome, but must be adressed appropriately, because of the significant health impact. We reported a case of 17-years old male with sudden onset right hemiparesis. The patient was previously diagnosed with steroid resistant nephrotic syndrome (SRNS), and was treated with pulsed cyclophosphamide. Laboratory examination showed proteinuria, hypoalbuminemia and high low density lipoprotein. Axial head CT scan showed infarction in left basal ganglia and corona radiata. Digital substraction angiography (DSA) confirmed severe stenosis in the left middle cerebral artery. The patient was treated with antiplatelet, along with treatment for SRNS and hypercholestrolemia. SNRS might increase the risk of early occurrence of stroke in young adult, throught acceleration of atherosclerosis and hypercoagulable state.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how the legal capacity of Afghanistan after the succession of government by the Taliban. This research uses a normative legal research type with a statutory approach (statute approach) and also a historical approach (historical approach). The research results show thatthe phenomenon that occurs in Afghanistan is the succession of government, so basically the principle used is the principle of continuity, so that even though there are changes internally from the Afghan state in the government system, the country is still bound by rights and obligations according to international law. This is as stated in article 11 of the 1978 Vienna Convention which explains that a change in the government of a country does not affect the boundaries set in the agreement and also the rights and obligations set by an agreement.

Abstract

The proposed study pertains to Multi-Task Simultaneous Supervision Dual Resource Constrained (MTSSDRC), which considers minimizing tardiness and workload balance. The workload balance is calculated using the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI). Additionally, the research concentrates on unrelated parallel machine schedules as they reflect the actual industry conditions in practice. This issue employs three methodologies: Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP), Mixed-Integer Quadratic Problem (MIQP), and Mixed-Integer Quadratically Constrained Programming (MIQCP).  The results in the MILP model focus on the value of total tardiness so that the results obtained have a smaller total tardiness value. However, it is still uncertain that the WSI value is better because no boundaries have been set between the two objective functions to achieve optimal values in the MILP model. The MIQP model focuses on the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI) value to give a limit to the total tardiness objective function. Limit values ​​are obtained from MILP model values, and the resulting WSI value becomes smaller. Moreover, the MIQCP model focuses on the total tardiness value and has limits in the form of permitted WSI. This model produces a small WSI value in accordance with the specified WSI limits while adjusting the specified total tardiness.

Abstract

This paper focuses on developing a Multi-Task Simultaneous Supervision Dual Resource-Constrained Scheduling (MTSSDRC) system that considers differences in skill between operators, aiming to minimize makespan and balance operator workload. Workload balance is calculated using the Workload Smoothness Index (WSI). The mathematical model developed uses three techniques: Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP), Mixed-Integer Quadratic Programming (MIQP), and Mixed-Integer Quadratically Constrained Programming (MIQCP). These techniques can handle scheduling cases on a small to medium scale. Results from MILP focus on minimizing makespan, with an additional constraint for calculating the WSI. MIQP focuses on workload balance so that the WSI value becomes an objective function. It also adds a constraint for the allowable makespan value. The result from MIQP shows that the WSI value is lower than in MILP, and the makespan values are equal to the MILP makespan value. Next, MIQCP aims to minimize makespan with a constraint for the allowable WSI value. The MIQCP model produces a makespan value adjusted to a WSI value close to zero. Finally, further analysis is presented regarding the influence of differences in operator skills based on the results of the three models. Based on these models, operators with better skills will be assigned more frequently than others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how different culture media compositions affect Tenebrio molitor nutritional value. A Completely randomized design (CRD) including three treatments and six replications was the methodology employed at a significant level of 5%. Duncan's multiple range test (DMRT) was used to analyze the significant differences found. The treatments were T1 (100% CF), T2 (50% CF + 50% TD), and T3 (100% TD), which were various combinations of the commercial feed (CF): tofu dreg (TD). Chitin content, nitrogen retention, crude fat digestibility, feed consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion were the variables that were observed. The results indicated that changes in the culture media's make-up had a significant effect (P<0.01) on the mealworms' chitin content, nitrogen retention, feed consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion. However, there was no discernible change in crude fat digestibility (P>0,05). The best results were fou chitin content 9.61%, nitrogen retention rate 80.89%, a crude fat digestibility rate of 89.48%, feed consumption 264.88 g/1,000 larvae, weight gain 72.12 g/1,000 larvae, and a feed conversion rate 3.68.

Abstract

This study aims to explore not only the direct effects of Liquidity Ratio (Return on Assets), Activity Ratio (Total Asset Turnover), and Leverage Ratio (Debt to Asset Ratio) on profitability but also how firm size moderates these relationships. The data collection method employed in this research is documentation, utilizing data from existing records. Data analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) and processed with SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that the Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) have a positive and significant impact on corporate profitability (ROA). Conversely, Total Asset Turnover (TATO) does not significantly influence ROA, indicating that corporate assets have not been utilized optimally. Furthermore, Firm Size acts as a moderator that strengthens the relationship between liquidity, leverage, and activity ratios on profitability. Larger firms tend to exhibit greater operational efficiency and better resource access, making them more effective in enhancing profitability compared to smaller firms. Firm size is also shown to have a direct impact on ROA.

Abstract

Coffee Technopark merupakan sebuah kawasan yang disiapkan secara khusus untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan menguatkan peran ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam pembangunan ekonomi dengan mempromosikan budaya inovasi dan daya saing mengenai tanaman kopi dan hasil produksi kopi, serta lembaga lembaga berbasis pengetahuan. Lokasi perancangan yang berada di area hutan perlu dijaga kelestarian habitatnya sehingga harus terhindar dari eksploitasi dan kerusakan alam. Dengan melihat kondisi dan potensi yang ada, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan konsep desain arsitektur ekologi pada perencanaan dan perancangan kawasan Coffee Tecknopark untuk mengurangi dampak kerusakan alam yang kemungkinan terjadi. Penyelesaian desain ini mengedepankan keselarasan antara tipologi objek arsitektur dengan lingkungan alam di sekitarnya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitaif yang berdasarkan data yaitu melalui tahap identifikasi masalah, menginput teori dan literasi serta pencarian preseden yang sesuai dilanjutkan dengan analisis data, serta menghasilkan konsep perencanaan dan perancangan dengan prinsip arsitektur ekologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa implementasi konsep desain arsitektur ekologi di kawasan Coffee Technopark yang memadukan unsur-unsur material alam di setiap tipologi bangunannya seperti bata, batu alam, kayu, dan beton. Hasil perencangan bangunan juga merupakan proyeksi dari aktivitas, zoning, pengolahan tapak, peruangan, konsep desain bangunan, pemilihan vegetasi, serta utilitas bangunan.

Abstract

There was a decrease in the percentage of solving theft crimes with aggregation compared to the previous year; in 2021, there were 32 cases, with 25 cases solved or 78.2%; in 2022, there were 38 cases, with 27 cases solved or 71.1%. In 2022, there was a decrease in the percentage of case completion, which was 7.1%. This research used a qualitative study approach because it aligns with the understanding of the qualitative approach above. The research is closely related to a dynamic society, which is poured with descriptive data that can be observed and definite by the reality that occurs in the field. The results of observations made by the author found differences in mechanisms between regulations in perkap and implementation related to reporting. Officers do not immediately make people who come to report a crime to SPKT a Police Report. Only reports that have met two sufficient pieces of evidence will be made a police report by the officer, while reports that have not met two enough pieces of evidence will be made a certificate of receipt of the report. In addition, there are findings related to operational members who do not make Investigation Results Reports, which can hinder the investigation process. The performance of Criminal Investigation Unit investigators in disclosure theft crimes has not been optimally reviewed; it is still found that members who carry out investigation and investigation activities are not according to predetermined laws and procedures.

Abstract

This study is motivated by a decrease of around 80% in February 2024 due to service quality andprice at Alfamart Darmawangsa. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality andprice on purchasing decisions for customers of Alfamart Darmawangsa Branch, Bekasi Regency.The type of data in this study is a quantitative approach. This study uses 2 independent variables,namely service quality and price on the dependent variable of purchasing decisions. In this studythe sample used was 150 customers at Alfamart Darmawangsa. The data was processed usingSPSS 25 with the t test, f test, multiple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination. Theresults showed that there is a partially significant influence between Service Quality onPurchasing Decisions at Alfamart in Darmawangsa branch Where t count 32.157> t table 1.976and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. There is a partially significant influence between Price onPurchasing Decisions at Alfamart in Darmawangsa branch Where t count 30.949> t table 1.976and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. There is a simultaneous significant influence betweenService Quality and Price on Purchasing Decisions at Alfamart Darmawangsa branch, BekasiRegency where the F value is F count 712.581> t table 3.06. The contribution made by ServiceQuality and Price simultaneously to Purchasing Decisions is 90.6%, while the remaining 9.4% isinfluenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the influence of ownership structure on company value of property and real estate industry on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was quantitative research using panel data regression analysis. The object of this research was property and real estate companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2019. The results indicate that the ownership structure consisting of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and foreign ownership together have a significant influence on company value. Managerial ownership partially has no effect on company value. Partial institutional ownership has a significant negative influence on company value. Partial foreign ownership has no influence on company value. Keywords: Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership, Foreign Ownership, Company Value.
