Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) dalam machine learning untuk membantu menentukan konsentrasi program studi siswa kelas 12 di SMK Tritech Informatika. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah banyaknya siswa yang masih kesulitan dalam memilih jurusan karena pemilihan sebelumnya cenderung subjektif, hanya berdasarkan saran guru, orang tua, atau nilai rapor, tanpa analisis mendalam mengenai minat, bakat, dan kemampuan siswa. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode dokumentasi dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data nilai akademik serta informasi pendukung dari guru BK. Algoritma K-NN diterapkan dengan menghitung jarak kesamaan antar data menggunakan rumus Euclidean Distance sehingga siswa baru dapat dikelompokkan berdasarkan data siswa terdahulu yang memiliki karakteristik serupa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan K-NN dapat memberikan rekomendasi jurusan secara lebih objektif, cepat, dan akurat dibandingkan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam memilih jurusan yang sesuai dengan potensi diri, serta mendukung pihak sekolah dalam menyediakan sistem penjurusan berbasis data yang transparan dan efisien.

Abstract

SMP Muhammadiyah 50 Medan Sunggal menghadapi tantangan penurunan pendaftaran siswa baru dan keterbatasan dana untuk pengembangan fasilitas. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, program pengabdian ini mengimplementasikan strategi digital marketing dan mengembangkan website yang terintegrasi dengan sistem crowdfunding. Website ini berfungsi sebagai platform informasi dan mekanisme donasi yang transparan. Penerapan digital marketing meningkatkan visibilitas sekolah melalui media sosial, yang menghasilkan peningkatan 30% dalam pendaftaran siswa baru, 40% peningkatan engagement media sosial, 25% kenaikan donasi melalui crowdfunding, dan 50% peningkatan traffic website. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan digital staf dan mempermudah partisipasi masyarakat dalam mendukung sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to develop ecoprint media to stimulate creativity in kindergarten. The method used in this study is Sugianto's R&D, which has been modified to produce specific products and test their effectiveness, as well as using the ADDIE development method, because this development model has advantages in its systematic process stages. Each phase is evaluated and revised from the stages that have been passed so that the resulting product is a valid product. In addition, the ADDIE model is very simple but its implementation is systematic. Data is collected through observation, surveys accompanied by interviews. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and expert validators. Media validation is carried out by media and material experts. Media effectiveness is measured through independent sample t-tests in media design. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The research results show that ecoprint media can stimulate children's creativity. This media is also considered to help teachers in helping children think creatively in solving problems and optimizing their potential. The innovation of ecoprint media is expected to help make the learning process more diverse and less monotonous for children.

Abstract

Masjid sebagai institusi pelayanan publik berbasis komunitas dituntut untuk dikelola secara transparan dan akuntabel. Namun, Masjid Al Mutaqin Kota Bengkulu masih menghadapi permasalahan berupa administrasi dan tata kelola yang bersifat manual, keterbatasan literasi digital pengurus, serta belum optimalnya transparansi dan akuntabilitas pengelolaan dana publik. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan solusi melalui digitalisasi tata kelola dan administrasi masjid. Mitra kegiatan berjumlah 20 orang pengurus masjid. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, sosialisasi, pelatihan, implementasi sistem administrasi digital, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman tata kelola, literasi digital, administrasi keuangan, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas pelayanan publik masjid. Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi administrasi masjid efektif meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik berbasis masjid. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa digitalisasi tata kelola dan administrasi masjid mampu memperkuat transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan profesionalisme pengelolaan masjid secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of simple science experiments on children's creativity. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach. The type of research used is experimental research, and the data used is quantitative data obtained from observations of children's activities during learning, which is described through data before and after treatment. The data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results and discussion of the study show that simple science experiments have an effect on children's creativity in group B of the Al-Fiqihiyah Palu Integrated Early Childhood Education Center. This can be seen from the results of the recapitulation of observations before the simple science experiments were implemented and the results after the simple science experiments were implemented. after the simple science experiments were implemented in all aspects observed, namely batik with tissue, arranging vowels, and arranging colorful Legos, an average of 55.60% of children were in the category of developing very well, 36.10% of children were in the category of developing as expected, 8.30% of children were in the category of starting to develop, and 0% of children were in the category of not yet developing. Meanwhile, the results of the t-test showed that the calculated t-value was 11.858 with a significance of 0.000. Because sig <0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of role-playing methods on the development of children's social behavior in Group B of Al-Fiqihiyah Kindergarten in Palu City. Social behavior is an important skill that needs to be developed from an early age, including caring, cooperation, and mutual assistance. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 15 children as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was performed statistically using a t-test through the SPSS program. The results showed a significant increase in children's social behavior after being given treatment in the form of role-playing methods. The pretest average score of 4.93 increased to 8.13 on the posttest. In addition, the Not Yet Developed (BB) category, which previously dominated, decreased dramatically to 0% after the treatment, while the Developing as Expected (BSH) and Developing Very Well (BSB) categories increased significantly. The t-test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that the role-playing method has a significant effect on children's social behavior. Thus, the role-playing method can be used as an effective learning strategy in developing the social aspects of early childhood.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important foundation in children's language, social, and cognitive development. This study aims to determine the effect of local wisdom-based picture storytelling methods on the speaking skills of children in Group A at Kasih Ibu Labuan Lelea Kindergarten. The study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 15 children, and data were obtained through observation, documentation, and teacher interviews. Data analysis was performed descriptively and inferentially using a paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in children's speaking skills after the treatment. The average speaking ability increased, with a significant increase in the number of children in the Very Good Development and Expected Development categories, while the Starting to Develop and Not Yet Developed categories decreased. Statistical analysis showed that the t-count value was greater than the t-table, which confirmed the significant effect of the storytelling method on children's speaking skills. In conclusion, the application of the local wisdom-based picture storytelling method is effective in improving the speaking skills of early childhood. This method not only enriches vocabulary but also trains children to answer questions, recognize story characters, and build confidence in expressing themselves verbally.

Abstract

Abstract. In this new era, teaching and learning activities have been associated with the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). In the context of English language learning, ICT is a resource and tool for supporting students in their learning process. With the use of different English learning activities, ICT offers students a range of sources to obtain authentic content and improve their language abilities. This research aims to analyze the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students’ perspectives on the use of ICT-based learning in their learning activities and the contribution of ICT-based learning to the learning activities. This is a quantitative descriptive study. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), developed by Davis (1985) and improved version used in ELT classroom activities by Castro (2019) were incorporated in this study.  31 students from the English language Department of University Mataram were the sample of the study. The data were gathered using three instruments which are online questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The instruments used in this study to examine the perspectives of EFL students on ICT-based learning. The findings are analyzed using SPSS, and Spearman's Rho test. This is to determine how closely the two variables (ICT and Learning English} are related. The findings showed that the majority of the students have positive perspectives on ICT-based learning because it is relatively easy to use, and learning activities is significantly correlated with its usefulness. Given that the two variables in the data have a linear relationship and a positive correlation coefficient (0.665).  Thus, it can be concluded that the better ICT quality improves, the better the quality of students' English learning.Keywords: English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Students Perspectives, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the types of questioning strategies that the English teacher used during the classroom interaction at Junior High School 18 Mataram and to discover how students respond to the teachers’ questions. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative and the participants were an extensive-experienced English teacher and 18 students of grade eigth. The result of this study showed that the types of questions used by the English teacher were 7 procedural questions, 9 convergent questions, and 2 divergent questions, and the result of the students’ responses were the lower-order thinking students' responses in the Understanding section (C2) and the higher-order thinking students' responses in the Analysis section (C4). In conclusion, while the teacher at SMPN 18 Mataram effectively employed questioning to manage the classroom and check comprehension, the limited use of higher-order questions constrained the potential for deeper cognitive and linguistic engagement. Future instructional practices should aim to diversify questioning strategies to better support the development of both language proficiency and critical thinking in junior high school English learners.
