This study was aimed at improving the meaningfulness and learning outcomes of grade 2 students of SDN Gendongan 02 Tingkir District of Salatiga City by applying an environmental-based alternative integrative thematic design. This study was applied to 39 students as the subject and used Stringer model in 2 cycles with look, think, and act phases. The data collection instruments were test, questionnaires, observation sheets, and field notes. The test instruments were used to determine student learning outcomes. The questionnaire was used to determine the meaningfulness of student learning. While the observation sheet and field notes were used to monitor the course of learning according to the learning scenario. The data analysis technique was descriptive comparative technique. The results show that there is an improvement from cycle I to cycle II, in both meaningfulness and student learning outcomes. Therefore, the environmental-based alternative integrative thematic design can be used to improve learning meaningfulness and student learning outcomes.

This research aims to analyse the level of student satisfaction as the users of F-Learn service in online learning. The level of student satisfaction is measured by using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS), model which includes five dimensions, namely: 1) content; 2) accuracy; 3) format; 4) ease of use; and 5) timeliness. The research method used was a survey with a quantitative descriptive approach. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling because the population used in this study was relatively small, namely 30 students as the users of the F-Learn service in online learning. The results show that the level of student satisfaction as users of the F-Learn service in all dimensions are at a good level. Meanwhile, the level of satisfaction in each dimension shows: 1) the content is at an acceptable level; 2) accuracy at the level is quite good; 3) format at an acceptable level, 4) ease of use at an acceptable level; and 5) timeliness at a good enough level. The findings of this study will be used as a measuring tool for the e-learning system (F-Learn) and as input for further development.

Educational institutions must have creative innovation so that education management continues to run optimally. One of the innovations is the online model-based training of school principal candidates. The objective of this study is to analyze the Effectiveness of the Online Mode-Based Principal Training Program Using the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model. The training evaluation using the Kirkpatrick model used 4 (four) levels, they were 1) reaction; 2) learning; 3) behavior; 4) results. The research method used was a combination (mixed method). The sample of this research was the training participants of prospective principals, totaling 12 people. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique was carried out by quantitative descriptive and equipped with qualitative analysis based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that the success rate of training for prospective principals at all levels is in a good category. The success rate at each level is as follows: 1) evaluation of the participant's reaction level is in the good category level; 2) evaluation of learning level is in good category level; 3) evaluation of behavior level is in good category level; 4) evaluation results are in the good category level, in other words, training has an impact on school development. The results of this study are used as material for evaluating the effectiveness of training for prospective principals and as input for the development of community service programs in the future.

This study aims to apply learning model of Group Investigation type in improving the science learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SD Negeri 04 Jambangan. This type of research is a classroom action research using the Spiral Kemmis and Robin Mc Taggart model. This study consisted of 2 cycles, with 3 meetings in each cycle. The subjects of this study were 29 students of SD Negeri 04 Jambangan. The data collection instrument uses both test and non-test techniques. The research instrument is a matter of multiple choice tests, and teacher observation sheet and students’ response. The result of the research shows that students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes are improved after the application of cooperative learning model with Group Investigation. Thus, it can be concluded that the model can improve science learning outcomes.

This research aims to develop project based blended learning model to grow pre-service primary teacher students’ creativity in designing lesson plan. This research was conducted due to the increasing needs in the 21st century. The method used in this research was R&D with ASSURE development model consisting of six stages. Product validation was done through an expert’s assessment by using the expert’s validation sheet. Product effectiveness was seen by implementing limited development testing to a particular class with a one group pretest-posttest design and the result was analyzed by using a Paired-Samples T-Test. The result of this research was in the form of a creative learning model based on project-based learning and blended learning to increase the creativity of pre-service primary teacher college students in designing a lesson plan. Validity of the learning model was proven by the result of the expert assessment in learning (face-to-face and on-line), material and instructional media. Effectiveness of the learning model was also proven on the basis of Paired-Samples T-Test of students’ pretest and posttest.

The objective of this research was to evaluate whether self-confidence influenced students’ social adjustment significantly. One hundred and twenty students in Class X SMA Kristen 1 Salatiga was sampled and given questionnaires regarding self-confidence and social adjustment. The data was then analyzed quantitatively using simple linear regression. Results showed that there was a significant positive influence of self-confidence on social adjustment. Self-confidence explained 26.40% variation of social adjustment.

Curriculum 2013 focuses on the implementation of thematic learning; thus requires a suitable model of approach to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to apply make a match learning model to Curriculum 2013 Theme 7 and analyze its influence to improve learning outcomes in primary school students. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles at SDN Kutowinangun 10 Salatiga with a study sample of 16 students in class IV. Each cycle had 4 stages, i.e. planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used were tests and observations. Result shows an increase in students' learning outcomes indicated by an increase in the number of students who passed the Minimum Completion Criteria, i.e. from 37.5% in cycle 1 to 81.25% at the end of cycle 2. Therefore, make a match cooperative model could be implemented by teachers to improve the quality of learning in the classroom.

The purpose of Indonesian language learning for BIPA (Indonesian Language Learning for Foreign Speakers) students emphasizes the involvement/participation of students in the learning process. This study contains 1) the nature of educational management for foreign students studying in Indonesia; 2) implementation of educational management in Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers (BIPA); 3) Indonesian language learning plans for BIPA students; and 4) the implementation of Indonesian language learning for BIPA students based on the introduction of Indonesian culture. Data collection techniques in this study use observation, document analysis, interviews and documentation techniques. Then, data analysis techniques are carried out by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The management of education for BIPA students is different from the management of education for Indonesian students because BIPA students consist of various cultures and different countries. The implementation of education management must also be included in the semester implementation plan (RPS), learning syllabus, and learning evaluation in the BIPA class. Learning plans in the BIPA class are also important to highlight because they will present facts that are different from the language learning plan in the regular class. The results of this study are highlights and ideas in educational management and Indonesian language learning in the BIPA program. This can be implemented in Indonesian language learning for foreign students in the BIPA class to be more effective based on the introduction of Indonesian culture because foreign students will be enthusiastic and interested in Indonesia's rich and diverse cultural products. The implication of the idea in this article is that it can be used as a reference material in the implementation of BIPA program educational management and provide insight and reinforcement about the role of Indonesian culture as a supporting tool in the learning process in the BIPA program.
