Abstract

Sustainability awareness is students' continuous awareness to protect and respect the environment and life surroundings. Awareness of environmental sustainability is one of the prerequisites for environmental attitudes and behavioral changes in caring for the natural environment in the face of climate change and global warming. Higher education holds the responsibility to form students with environmental awareness and change the attitudes of future generations towards the importance of preserving the natural environment. Sustainability awareness is influenced by critical thinking. Critical thinking is the process of making judgments based on the processes of analysis, interpretation, evaluation, inference, explanation and reflection. This research uses simple regression analysis techniques. The research results prove that critical thinking influence on sustainability awareness.

Abstract

Instructional leadership and work commitment are things that school principals must have. Teachers have an important role in education. Teacher performance also needs to be improved. Principals play an important role in shaping schools, especially in encouraging higher levels of institutional independence. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the influence of the madrasa head's instructional leadership and work commitment on the performance of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Agam Regency. The research used by the author is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis) method. The data used in this research is secondary data originating from national scientific articles in the period 2020 to 2024. The database used is Google Scholar. The keywords used are work commitment, leadership, teacher performance. The results of this research are: The results of this research show 15 articles that show a positive relationship between instructional leadership and work commitment to performance. The conclusion is that instructional leadership and work commitment influence performance, where the better the application of leadership and commitment to the organization, the more performance will improve. This relationship indicates that factors such as good leadership and high work commitment play a crucial role in maximizing individual and team performance in the organization.

Abstract

Background: Patient safety is an important issue for every country that provides health services, regardless of health services using private or government funding methods. Purpose: This research aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of blaming culture and Nurses' Attitudes in Reporting Medication Error Incidents at Tongas Regional Hospital, Probolinggo. Methods: This research uses a correlational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. A sample amount 61 respondents obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was the blaming culture perception questionnaire adapted from HSOPC, developed by AHRQ 2016. Meanwhile, the nurse attitude questionnaire in reporting medication error incidents had gone through the validity and reliability testing stage with Cronbach's alpha value was 0.876 by previous researchers, and the analytical test used in this research was the Spearman rho test. Results: The Spearman's rho analysis test shows a value of α<0.05, namely (0.000) which means that there is a relationship between the perception of Blaming Culture and the attitude of nurses in reporting medication error incidents at the Tongas Regional Hospital, Probolinggo. Conclusion: Professionalism and strong work culture must be emphasized through standard work behavior, forming solid teamwork, good communication in the work environment, and the involvement of management in taking the initiative to provide ongoing training and motivation to create awareness of the importance of patient safety culture.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran mengenal huruf dan warna di TK ABA Purwodadi masih dengan cara tradisional, yaitu menggunakan papan tulis, buku ataupun penjelasan lisan. Sekolah tersebut belum menggunakan media pada proses pembelajaran sehingga anak kesulitan dalam menerima dan memahami materi karena anak kurang tertarik terhadap pembelajaran yang berlangsung, akibatnya anak cenderung merasa bosan untuk belajar. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti membuat media pembelajaran pengenalan huruf dan warna berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi anak. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle), yaitu tahap Rencana (Planning), Analisis (Analysis), Desain (Design), Implementasi (Implementation), Uji Coba (Testing), dan Pengelolaan (Maintenance). Proses Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada guru dan orang tua dalam memberikan pembelajaran mengenal huruf dan nama-nama warna pada anak taman kanak-kanak.

Abstract

Pengelolaan administrasi sekolah merupakan aspek krusial dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi administrasi berbasis MS Office Excel di SMPN 1 Kalirejo untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan akurasi pengolahan data administrasi. Metode penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, dan implementasi sistem. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan staf administrasi, observasi lapangan, serta studi pustaka. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi berbasis Excel berhasil meningkatkan kecepatan dan ketepatan pengelolaan data administrasi, serta mempermudah akses dan penggunaan oleh staf. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan MS Office Excel sebagai platform untuk sistem informasi administrasi dapat menjadi solusi yang efisien dan efektif dalam meningkatkan manajemen data di SMPN 1 Kalirejo. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sekolah lain dengan sumber daya serupa dapat menerapkan sistem serupa untuk meningkatkan administrasi sekolah mereka, dengan mempertimbangkan adaptasi terhadap kebutuhan spesifik mereka. School administration management is a crucial aspect in supporting the operational efficiency of educational institutions. This research aims to develop an administrative information system based on MS Office Excel at SMPN 1 Kalirejo to increase the effectiveness and accuracy of administrative data processing. Research methods include needs analysis, design and system implementation. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with school principals and administrative staff, field observations, and literature studies. Research findings show that the Excel-based information system has succeeded in increasing the speed and accuracy of administrative data management, as well as making access and use easier for staff. The conclusion of this research is that the use of MS Office Excel as a platform for administrative information systems can be an efficient and effective solution in improving data management at SMPN 1 Kalirejo. The implications of this research suggest that other schools with similar resources can implement similar systems to improve their school administration, taking into account adaptation to their specific needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh: bahan ajar e-Modul berbasis masalah yang telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan isi, kelayakan bahasa, kelayakan penyajiam, dan kelayakan kegrafikan sesuai dengan Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) dan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir siswa menggunakan bahan ajar e-Modul berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dari nilai KKM. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang telah dimodifikasi sesuai kebutuhan. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bandar, Perdagangan tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Sampel ditetapkan dengan purposive sampling dengan mengambil satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) e-Modul berbasis masalah pada materi laju reaksi yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria BSNP, dengan pengolahan data yang diperoleh: kelayakan isi = 3,69, kelayakan bahasa = 3,7, kelayakan penyajian = 3,62, dan kelayakan kegrafikan = 3,78 dengan kriteria valid dan tidak perlu revisi; 2) e-Modul berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Lamkleng Village, Kuta Cot Glie District, is located in the Selawah valley area of Aceh Besar, which is a landslide-prone area. So far there has been no effort to reduce disaster risk that has been carried out optimally. This study aims to obtain alternative strategies for reducing the risk of landslides based on community empowerment in Lamkleng Village, Kuta Cot Glie District, Aceh Besar. This research uses a qualitative approach (action research). In this study using a qualitative descriptive method, using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), and using QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) analysis. The results of this study are the social conditions of the people of Lamkleng Village, Kuta Cot Glie District, Aceh Besar as farmers and traders.

Abstract

Purpose — This study aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy training on employees 'job engagement while distinguishing employees' job engagement based on employment status for employees of PT in a similar field of work. Telkomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk in Surabaya. Design/methodology/approach—The research method used was comparative studies, which were designed using experimental design techniques (experiments). Sampling was done through the cluster sampling technique, which involves taking two sample groups of employees. Research samples were taken from 60 respondents. Findings — This study indicates that the results of the independent t-test before being enforced on permanent and contract employees have a higher average job engagement value compared to permanent employees, with the same level of self-efficacy. After getting self-efficacy training employees, the value of T = -52.006 and P = 0,000 (p <0.05) prove the existence of significant changes in employee work involvement after obtaining efficacy training. For contract employees, the value of t = -56.542 and p = 0,000 (p <0.05) proves that employment contracts experience significant changes after receiving self-efficacy training for employees. The correlation coefficient value still explains that efficacy training is related to a work engagement of 74.8%, with a 56% effective contribution to job engagement. For employee contracts, the correlation coefficient value is 93.5%, which means the relationship between efficacy and work involvement is very strong, with the value of determination proving that the efficacy of 94.8% affects increasing the work involvement of contract employees. Practical implications—To improve employee job engagement, a company can hold efficacy training for both permanent and contract employees. Abstract

This research explored the impact of school climate, academic supervision, and teacher work motivation on teacher professionalism at Pantai Cermin District Elementary School, Solok Regency. Employing a quantitative causality approach and representing the variable relationships through a path diagram, the research encompassed a teacher population of 174 individuals. The sample size, determined using the Cochran formula and Stratified Proportional Random Sampling, resulted in a sample of 82 teachers. The researchers used a questionnaire to collect the data. The findings reveal a direct influence of school climate, academic supervision, and teacher work motivation on teacher professionalism, and an indirect impact of school climate and academic supervision on teacher professionalism is mediated by teacher work motivation at Pantai Cermin District Elementary School, Solok Regency.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the extent to which the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in public elementary schools is seen from the aspects of teacher understanding, learning planning, mastery of teaching tools, strategies and approaches, teacher readiness for learning outcome assessment, knowing the challenges and obstacles, and the impacts caused on the learning process and the quality of education (student learning outcomes) in Pasaman, West Pasaman Regency. This research is an evaluation study that utilizes Stake's Countenance model. The research occured at two elementary schools, specifically SDN 30 Pasaman and SDN 21 Pasaman. The results of the research showed that teacher understanding of the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, learning planning, mastery of teaching tools, strategies and approaches, teacher readiness for learning outcome assessment and challenges and obstacles, and the impacts caused on the learning process at SDN 30 Pasaman were by the standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum. However, at SDN 21 Pasaman, there is still a need to improve teacher competence and the condition of school infrastructure and improve the quality of learning implementation. This need for improvement is due to the significant damage to school infrastructure caused by natural disasters and the teachers' insufficient pedagogical and professional competence.
