Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of IPAS classes 3A and 3B at Pepe State Elementary School by using the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative Learning Model with Pop Up Book Media. The background of this study is the low average value of IPAS learning outcomes in both classes 3-A and 3-B at Pepe State Elementary School. This research uses a type of experimental quantitative research with a pre-Experimental Designone-Group (Pretest-Posttest Design) research design. The population in this study consisted of 29 students of class 3-A who were used as the experimental group and 28 students of class 3-B as the control group. In this study there was a significant increase in learning outcomes and critical thinking in the experimental group using the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model with Pop Up Book media, namely from an average value of 60 to 78.46 or an increase of 18.46. While the control group also increased but not too significant from 60.35 up to 74.46 or up 14.16. While the results of the significance value between learning outcomes and critical thinking with the Think Pair Share Model approach with the help of Pop up book media <0.05, namely 0.045 and 0.018 which means there is a significant relationship. From the results of these results it can be concluded that the use of the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model using Pop Up Book media can increase the learning value and critical thinking of 3A class students at Pepe State Elementary School..

Abstract

This study aims to identify the objectives of teaching the Arabic conversation course and examine the extent to which they align with the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ) at Al-Raudhah Al-Hasanah College of Educational Sciences in Medan. This research is a library-based study employing a qualitative, descriptive approach. The primary data consist of the teaching plan for the Conversation course and the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ), while the secondary data include relevant books, scholarly articles, and related training materials. Data were collected through documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used was content analysis, conducted in three stages: data collection, classification, and alignment with the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ). The findings indicate that the Conversation course at Al-Raudhah Al-Hasanah College of Educational Sciences in Medan primarily focuses on speaking skills through productive oral expression. Conversation I includes 19 objectives, Conversation II 16 objectives, and Conversation III 16 objectives, which emphasize students’ abilities in narration, expression, explanation, discussion, presentation, and presentation writing. Overall, these objectives align with only 6 of the 24 descriptors of the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ). Several objectives align with the Preparatory, Proficiency, and Distinction levels; however, the course objectives were not fully aligned with the framework, as they include writing-related objectives and fail to address 18 of its descriptors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze phonological interference in Arabic language learning and to formulate an effective strategy through the integration of the Total Physical Response (TPR) method and feedback. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research design. The focus is on learners in Islamic schools, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), and Madrasah Aliyah (MA), who are generally at beginner to intermediate levels with Indonesian as their first language. The findings indicate that phonological interference is influenced by differences in sound systems, articulatory habits (muscle memory), and psychological factors such as language anxiety. The integration of TPR and feedback is effective in minimizing pronunciation errors through cognitive, motor, and affective approaches. In the comprehension phase, recast is used, while in the production phase, explicit corrective feedback is more effective, with metalinguistic feedback serving as reinforcement. This study proposes the TPR-F model as an adaptive, systematic, and contextual procedure for teaching Arabic phonology in Islamic school settings.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis interferensi fonologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta merumuskan strategi melalui integrasi metode Total Physical Response (TPR) dan feedback. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis library research. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada pembelajar di MI, Mts, dan MA, yang umumnya berada pada tingkat pemula hingga menengah dengan latar belakang bahasa ibu bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interferensi fonologi dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan sistem bunyi, kebiasaan artikulatoris (muscle memory), serta faktor psikologis seperti language anxiety. Integrasi TPR dan feedback efektif meminimalisir kesalahan pelafalan melalui pendekatan kognitif, motorik, dan afektif. Pada fase pemahaman digunakan recast, sedangkan pada fase produksi explicit corrective feedback lebih efektif, dengan metalinguistic feedback sebagai penguatan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model TPR-F sebagai prosedur pembelajaran fonologi yang adaptif, sistematis, dan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah.

Abstract

The importance of teacher communication in creating communicative, interactive, and responsive interactions during classroom learning with students. This certainly makes language in speech an important tool as a means of communication in conveying learning materials, giving instructions, directing, and motivating students during the learning process. The use of appropriate speech can increase student interaction and involvement during the learning process. Pragmalinguistics is a combination of two disciplines of pragmatics and linguistics. In communication activities, pragmalinguistics has an important role related to language politeness and sentence structures used in communication. The purpose of this article is to describe teacher speech acts in the process of learning Indonesian in the classroom. The research method uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through classroom observation. The study was conducted during Indonesian language learning for grade VII junior high school students. The subjects of this study were Indonesian language teachers and grade VII students of SMP Negeri 37 Semarang City. Data analysis was carried out by categorizing speech acts based on Lech's theory of locution, illocution, and perlocution. The research results show that the pragmalinguistics of Indonesian language teachers' speech in junior high school learning include several speech acts, including illocutionary acts to convey information, commands, and questions. Illocutionary acts are used to give orders, requests, or express emotions. Perlocutionary acts are used to influence students to take action. These three speech acts support effective learning interactions in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Income Tax Accounting Article 21 and Article 23 at PT. Perdana Dinamika Persada (PT.PDP) Banda Aceh. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation from the company. The results show that PT.PDP has implemented the withholding, payment, and reporting of Income Tax Article 21 in accordance with the applicable regulations, namely based on the Harmonization of Tax Regulations Law Number 7 of 2021. Similarly, Income Tax Article 23 is applied to transactions of professional services, technical services, and equipment rental with a tariff of 2% of the gross amount, and reporting is carried out through the e-Bupot DJP Online system. However, there are still challenges such as limited understanding of financial staff regarding the latest regulations and the need for a more automated recording system. This research is expected to contribute to the company in improving tax compliance and efficiency.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam asesmen pembelajaran mendalam semakin penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi belajar di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan asesmen pembelajaran mendalam di SDIT Darul Fikri Makassar, mengembangkan model asesmen berbasis AI yang relevan, serta menguji efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan ketepatan dan efisiensi penilaian. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui observasi, analisis instrumen asesmen, wawancara guru, dan implementasi sistem AI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI mampu meningkatkan ketepatan analisis kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS), mempercepat proses penilaian hingga 48%, meningkatkan kualitas umpan balik menjadi lebih personal, serta memperbesar kemampuan deteksi miskonsepsi siswa. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap asesmen berbasis AI yang dianggap lebih menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa asesmen berbasis AI memiliki potensi diterapkan secara berkelanjutan pada tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada proses berpikir kritis dan kreatif.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of contextual learning media in improving the conceptual understanding and independent learning of 5th-grade students at Keleyan 2 Socah Elementary School. The saturation sampling method was used to ensure that the entire population of 50 students from classes V-A and V-B was included in the research sample. A quantitative approach using an evaluative design was employed, including tools such as concept comprehension tests and learning independence questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS software, including validity testing, reliability testing, homogeneity testing, normality testing, and independent samples t-tests for hypothesis evaluation. The analysis findings show significant differences in the concept understanding variable, with a significance value of 0.002, which is less than 0.05, and in the learning independence variable, with a significance value of 0.000, also less than 0.05. The results confirm that contextual learning media positively influences elementary school students' understanding of mathematical ideas and improves their self-directed learning abilities.

Abstract

This study examines the existence of women in Muhidin Dahlan’s novel Tuhan, Ijinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur (God, Let Me Become a Prostitute) using Simone de Beauvoir’s existentialist feminist perspective. The focus of the study is on the representation of female characters within patriarchal power relations, religious ideology, and social pressures that limit their freedom and autonomy. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of female existence portrayed in the novel. The method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through literature review and textual analysis. The analysis is conducted based on Beauvoir’s four strategies of female existence: women as workers, women as intellectuals, women as agents of social transformation, and women who reject otherness. The results indicate that the female characters experience objectification and subordination within the patriarchal system. However, through self-awareness, critical thinking, and reflective actions, they strive to escape these constraints and assert themselves as free subjects. This novel represents women’s struggles to construct their existence and freedom amid social and ideological pressures.

Abstract

This comparative study explored the implementation of Mahārah Kalām (Arabic speaking skills) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Indonesia, and Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA), Brunei Darussalam, focusing on learning strategies, language environments, and contextual factors influencing language acquisition. A qualitative approach was employed, including document analysis, classroom observations, and semi-structured interviews with lecturers and students. The findings revealed that both institutions prioritized communicative competence through interaction with native speakers and the implementation of bi’ah lughawiyah. UIN Sunan Kalijaga applied bi’ah lughawiyah, project-based learning, and student activity units to mitigate first language interference, while UNISSA integrated bi’ah lughawiyah, cultural activities, Arabic language camps, and direct engagement with native speakers. Despite differences in pedagogical approaches and assessment systems, both universities effectively enhanced students’ confidence, motivation, and speaking proficiency. Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of picture cards and alphabet puzzle media in improving early childhood literacy skills and increasing learning interest among children at TK ABA II Socah. The research involved 24 students in Group B, and all members of the population were selected as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. This study applied a quantitative approach by comparing the use of picture cards in the control group and alphabet puzzles in the experimental group. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS through several statistical procedures, including tests of homogeneity, normality, instrument validity, and the Independent Samples T-test. These analyses were carried out to ensure that the data met the necessary assumptions and that the research instruments were valid and reliable for measuring both reading ability and learning interest. The results revealed a significant difference between the two groups. For reading ability, the significance value was 0.001, which is lower than 0.05, indicating that the difference between the groups was statistically significant. Similarly, for learning interest, the significance value was 0.000, which also confirms a significant difference. These findings demonstrate that the use of alphabet puzzle media produces better outcomes than picture cards in supporting early childhood learning. Children who learned through alphabet puzzles showed stronger reading performance and higher enthusiasm in participating in classroom activities. Therefore, this study concludes that alphabet puzzles are more effective than picture cards in enhancing literacy development and fostering students’ interest in learning at the early childhood education level.
