Abstract

Deburring is one of the important production processes in part manufacturing. Spacer KN0081 is one of the parts of the fuel bracket protractor that functions as a distance guard between the bracket and components in the car engine system. The focus of the deburring process is the quality of the deburring and the cycle time of the process. The quality and efficiency of the deburring process can be improved by using tools for the deburring process. The design of the deburring tool uses a collet clamping mechanism and an interlock system. The spacer is clamped using a collet, then deburred. The interlock mechanism allows the adjustment of the tool's rotation angle to facilitate the setting process. The research method used is VDI 2221 as a design tool and SOLIDWORKS software as a device for creating the design. The best variant design was selected based on technical and economic assessments resulting in a design solution for the deburring spacer product KN0081. The result of the process cycle time analysis is 0.55 minutes for the processing of 1 spacer. Based on cycle time analysis calculations, deburring tools can improve spacer quality and reduce deburring process cycle time to 80% more efficient.

Abstract

The management of human and financial resources at SMAN 1 Sampanahan faces major challenges in improving educational quality amid budget constraints, technological advancement, and the growing demand for qualified educators. The effectiveness of human resource management and transparency in financial governance are crucial in achieving high-quality and accountable education. This study aims to examine the practices of human and financial resource management at SMAN 1 Sampanahan and analyze their impact on educational quality and achievement. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that inclusive leadership by the principal, teacher involvement in decision-making, and continuous professional development have contributed to a collaborative work culture and improved student performance. Furthermore, transparent and accountable financial management practices have strengthened community trust and enhanced parental participation. The optimal synergy between human and financial resource management serves as a key factor in fostering an excellent and adaptive educational environment

Abstract

This community service activity aims to analyze the effectiveness of website development training in improving the professional competence of SMK Bintang Nusantara students. Rapidly evolving digital technology demands that SMK graduates possess skills relevant to industry needs, particularly in web development. The method used in this activity was training and implementation, encompassing learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks, using a hands-on approach. Participants in the community service activity consisted of 23 11th-grade students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering at SMKS Bintang Nusantara. The analysis of the activity showed that the students began to understand how to create an independent portfolio and store it in a GitHub repository. The conclusions of this community service activity indicate that the website development training significantly improved the technical competence and improvisation of SMKS Bintang Nusantara students. Suggestions include integrating similar training into the regular curriculum and expanding the scope of material to include more advanced and up-to-date website technologies.

Abstract

Every citizen, including members of the police force, holds equal status before the law, including when involved in actions that result in criminal liability due to negligence. The issues discussed in this research concern the judge's considerations in imposing criminal sanctions for negligence causing death by a police officer, as well as the application of criminal liability for such negligence in Decision Number 55/Pid.B/2024/PN Plk based on Article 359 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP). The research method used is normative legal research with a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing secondary data and drawing conclusions through deductive reasoning. The result concludes that Decision Number 55/Pid.B/2024/PN Plk affirms that police officers can be held criminally liable for negligence resulting in death, as regulated in Article 359 of the KUHP. Although the offender acted in the context of duty, the element of negligence remains the basis for imposing criminal sanctions. This decision reflects the application of the principle of equality before the law and serves as an important precedent in upholding the rule of law and accountability of law enforcement officers.

Abstract

This study examines household financial literacy among women in oil palm farming families, a sector known for its economic volatility due to fluctuating commodity prices and limited access to financial information. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and direct observations with women responsible for managing household finances in oil palm smallholder environments. The data were analyzed through stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that household financial literacy among these women is generally adequate, particularly in understanding income sources, essential expenditures, and the importance of prioritizing needs over wants. Respondents demonstrated the ability to manage income through budgeting decisions and to handle debt responsibly by ensuring timely repayment. However, financial challenges remain, especially due to the absence of systematic financial recordkeeping and limited long-term budgeting practices. These limitations often lead to difficulties in managing household finances during periods of price fluctuation or reduced harvest yields. The study emphasizes the need for strengthened financial education programs to support better planning, recording, and resilience in agricultural household economies.

Abstract

Character education is a system of instilling character values in school members that includes components of knowledge, awareness or willingness, and actions to implement these values toward God Almighty, human beings, and the environment. The lack of awareness to embody the values of Pancasila will lead to the degradation of the nation’s character, causing citizens to deviate from the Pancasila values that form the character of the Indonesian nation. This community service aims to understand character education based on Pancasila values through exemplary conduct and habituation. This service activity is based on a literature study or library research process. It involves providing trainings to residents of the Class IIA Juvenile Correctional Institution in West Kalimantan to obey rules, norms, customs, and laws, as well as to foster a spirit of togetherness in their environment, instill democratic attitudes among fellow residents, teach social concern, and avoid apathy, thereby forming positive character traits in them. The institution is located in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. This activity is motivated by the obligation in the Catur Darma Perguruan Tinggi, which encourages lecturers and students to be directly involved in community service. The methods used in this program include lectures, role-playing, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. Through this approach, it is hoped that the residents will understand the importance of character education and will later possess sufficient awareness and knowledge to actively participate in social and national life upon returning to their communities.

Abstract

Fenomena demonstrasi besar di Indonesia pada Agustus - September 2025 dipicu oleh kenaikan tunjangan DPR menjadi bukti nyata bagaimana media digital membingkai informasi. Kondisi ini diperkuat oleh langkah pemerintah yang membatasi akses media sosial melalui penghentian layanan TikTok Live serta sensor terhadap konten di Instagram dan YouTube. Akibatnya, publik hanya menerima pemberitaan dari media digital yang menonjolkan informsai kerusuhan dan ancaman keamanan, sementara ruang komunikasi terkait tuntutan masyarakat dihilangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguraikan pola framing yang digunakan media serta menjelaskan konsekuensinya terhadap demokrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori framing Robert N. Entman yang menekankan empat fungsi utama framing, yaitu pendefinisian masalah, diagnosis penyebab, penilaian moral, dan rekomendasi solusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi dokumentasi pemberitaan media digital dan media sosial terkait demonstrasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa framing media menempatkan demonstrasi sebagai tindakan anarkis yang mengancam ketertiban, dengan demonstran diposisikan sebagai penyebab kerusuhan. Pemerintah memperkuat narasi ini dengan pembatasan media sosial, sehingga ruang komunikasi publik menyempit dan suara kritis sulit terdengar. Kesimpulannya, framing media digital dan pembungkaman media sosial tidak hanya menciptakan persepsi publik yang timpang, tetapi juga berpotensi mengikis kebebasan berekspresi dan melemahkan kualitas demokrasi di Indonesia.

Abstract

This analysis focuses on assessing how price and lifestyle affect consumer decisions related to acquiring used iPhones in Tangerang City, employing a quantitative strategy through a survey with 97 participants selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected via surveys and examined using multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. This results indicate that price and lifestyle have a positive impact on purchase decisions. The coefficient of determination of 9.5% indicates that both variables explain the variation in purchase decisions, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. As a result, it is evident that price holds a positive and marginally significant effect, while lifestyle has a positive but insignificant impact on purchase decisions. These findings indicate that price and lifestyle factors still need to be considered in influencing consumers to purchase second-hand iPhones.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how domestic investment, gross domestic product and inflation influence extreme poverty in Indonesia during the 2004-2024 period. In the future, it is hoped that this research can become the basis for further research on comprehensive economic policies that focus on increasing domestic investment and GDP as well as controlling inflation to reduce extreme poverty in a sustainable manner. Secondary data sources were obtained through BPS and Word bank, using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of data processing through the EViews 13 program. It was found that the research results showed that domestic investment had an effect but was not significant, while GDP and inflation had a significant effect on extreme poverty in Indonesia. This study finds that growth in domestic investment and GDP has an influence in reducing extreme poverty by increasing people's purchasing power and income. Inflation, on the other hand, exacerbates extreme poverty by suppressing the purchasing power of vulnerable groups. This emphasizes the importance of increasing domestic investment, inclusive economic growth and controlling inflation.These findings highlight the need for policies that maintain stable PMDN growth, encourage inclusive economic growth, and control inflation to effectively reduce extreme poverty in Indonesia. The implications of this research suggest that the government needs to integrate economic strategies that focus on stability and controlling inflation in poverty alleviation policies, especially to improve the welfare of low-income groups. Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the productive zakat program by the LAZISMU DIY zakat institution in Yogyakarta, as well as the impacts and obstacles encountered in its implementation. A qualitative approach was used by interviewing three zakat administrators and five zakat recipients to support the community through programs that include food carts, capital provision, and economic empowerment of grocery stores and traditional snacks. LAZISMU Yogyakarta has created a poverty alleviation program and sustainable assistance through several economic empowerment programs. The results of the study concluded that the programs implemented by LAZISMU have a positive impact on improving the welfare of poor recipients of productive zakat assistance with four main poverty alleviation programs. In general, the average increase in income after receiving productive zakat funds from LAZISMU DIY. There are challenges faced by mustahik, namely limited resources in managing their businesses. This study recommends the need for increased guidance for mustahik in business management by involving experienced professionals and collaborating with new muzakki to optimize funding for sustainable poverty alleviation programs.
