Abstract

ABSTRAK Infeksi Saluran Kemih (ISK) adalah masalah kesehatan umum pada wanita, sering kali dipicu oleh kebiasaan yang kurang baik. Tanpa penanganan yang tepat, ISK dapat menyebabkan komplikasi serius, sehingga upaya pencegahan sangatlah penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi hasil skrining ISK menggunakan dipstik urin pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang dilakukan di kampus swasta di Jakarta. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi dan sampel dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 53 orang. Variabel independen yang diteliti adalah gaya hidup sedentari dan kebersihan genital (genital hygiene), sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah hasil skrining ISK. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan tes dipstik urin, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Regresi Logistik pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswi memiliki hasil skrining nitrit negatif. Namun, hasil uji leukosit esterase menunjukkan trace dan positif. Analisis lebih lanjut tidak menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara perilaku kebersihan genital maupun gaya hidup sedentari dengan hasil skrining ISK, baik untuk uji leukosit esterase maupun nitrit. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun dipstik urin dapat digunakan sebagai alat skrining awal, hasilnya dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Oleh karena itu, gold standard untuk diagnosis ISK tetaplah melalui uji kultur urin. ABSTRACT Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is a common health problem in women, often triggered by poor habits. Without proper management, UTIs can lead to serious complications, making preventive efforts crucial. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing the results of UTI screening using a urine dipstick on female students. This descriptive analytical study used a cross-sectional approach and was conducted at a private university in Jakarta. The study population was female students, and a sample of 53 people was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The independent variables examined were sedentary lifestyle and genital hygiene, while the dependent variable was the result of the UTI screening. Data were collected using questionnaires and urine dipstick tests, then analyzed using a Logistic Regression test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the majority of the students had negative nitrite screening results. However, the leukocyte esterase test showed trace and positive results. Further analysis found no significant relationship between genital hygiene behavior or sedentary lifestyle and the UTI screening results, for either the leukocyte esterase or nitrite tests. This study concludes that although a urine dipstick can be used as a preliminary screening tool, the results can be influenced by various factors. Therefore, the gold standard for UTI diagnosis remains a urine culture test.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a behavior of delaying task completion, which serves as one of the obstacles to students’ academic achievement. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services in reducing academic procrastination among 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. The research employed an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, involving 10 students as research subjects. The instrument used was a scale of academic procrastination that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 16. The results showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The average score decreased to 64.70, indicating a reduction in procrastination behavior. Therefore, it can be concluded that group counseling services are effective in helping students reduce academic task delay behavior.

Abstract

This study emphasizes the importance of early childhood education (PAUD) as a golden period in shaping children's character and social skills. The main objective of this study is to describe the application of role-playing methods in improving the quality of children's social interactions. A qualitative approach was used with a case study method, involving five informants consisting of a school principal, two educators, and two parents of students. Data were collected through participatory observation, focused interviews, and documentation in the form of photos of activities, anecdotal notes, and child development observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing with validity testing using triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results showed that role-playing encouraged children to recognize various social roles in life, develop the ability to express emotions, express opinions, and appreciate differences. Educators acted as facilitators who designed contextual learning scenarios based on everyday life themes. A conducive learning environment and the availability of learning media also support the success of this method. The evaluation was conducted through anecdotal notes and children's social observation sheets. The research concluded that role-playing effectively fosters empathy, communication, and emotional control. Further training for teachers is recommended to ensure more structured and optimal implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of Basic Training Education (Diklatsar) in Student Nature Lover Organizations (Mapala) in shaping the conservation character of members in the Bekasi Karawang region. The character values examined include environmental awareness, cooperation, responsibility, independence, critical thinking, and their application in daily life. This research is motivated by the lack of character education as a means of instilling conservation values deeply and sustainably among the younger generation. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consist of nine informants who are chairpersons, mentors, and active members from three Mapala organizations in Bekasi and Karawang namely Mapalaska, Kapal Baja, and Mapala Petang. The main focus of the study is on three aspects of Diklatsar implementation planning, execution, and evaluation, as well as how these activities shape the members conservation character. The findings reveal that the implementation of Basic Training in these organizations has been structured and oriented towards character development through experiential learning. Thus, Basic Training Education in Mapala serves not only as a model of nature-based youth education but also as an alternative solution for shaping students character in environmental concern, collaboration, responsibility, independence, and critical thinking.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the recitation method in enhancing the engagement of Paket C learners in English language learning at SKB Karawang. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the recitation method is effective in increasing learning activeness, as reflected in improved participation, willingness to ask questions, involvement in discussions, and the ability to evaluate learning outcomes. The implementation process includes task assignment, execution, and accountability, which foster learner independence and critical thinking skills. Supporting factors in the implementation include positive psychological conditions and guidance from tutors, while inhibiting factors involve learners' physical conditions and an unsupportive learning environment. Therefore, the recitation method can be considered an effective strategy to enhance the learning activeness of learners at SKB Karawang.

Abstract

Reading interest is an essential foundation for literacy development that should be nurtured from early childhood. Its growth is strongly determined by learning methods that are in harmony with children’s characteristics, needs, and pace of learning. This study explores the application of the Individual System method in fostering reading interest among children aged 5–6 years at biMBA AIUEO Walahar Karawang. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved one administrator, three motivators, and three parents as key informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed through stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Individual System was implemented through several structured steps: conducting non-academic initial assessments, preparing gradual learning modules based on the Small Step System, applying person-to-person learning, and conducting narrative evaluations with parental involvement. This method was strengthened by diverse learning media and the establishment of positive emotional bonds between motivators and children. The outcomes indicate improvements in cognitive abilities, sustained enthusiasm for reading, and enhanced fine motor skills. Overall, the Individual System emerges as a holistic and enjoyable pedagogical approach that effectively nurtures reading interest in early childhood education.

Pada yuridis normative memberikan acuan pada aturan hukum atau standar yang dianggap sesuai dengan perilaku manusia pada penelitian hukum. Dengan menggunakan kajian literatur yang relevel dengan tujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap legislasi. Konsep yang dikembangkan oleh ahli hukum pada penelitian ini mengacu pada Undang – Undang No. 5 tahun 1999 tentang larangan praktek monopoli dan persaingan usaha tidak sehat. Yang mana Undang – Undang ini melakukan pengaturan tentang hukum persaingan usaha pada pasar e commerce dan UMKM secara kontemporer. Abstract

This study aims to analyze Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks in the core wall construction work of the Communication Tower Project, which has reached 70% progress. Over 80% of the work is carried out by vendors and subcontractors, presenting challenges in coordination and standardization of OHS practices. The methods employed include Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA). Data were collected through field observations, questionnaires, and interviews with fifteen respondents ranging from field workers to project managers. The results show that the highest-risk activities are climbing formwork and reforming roof, both classified as high-risk. AHP was used to prioritize mitigation actions based on three criteria: severity, likelihood, and cost, with severity identified as the most dominant factor. CBA indicated that despite the relatively high mitigation costs, the proposed controls are effective in significantly reducing risk exposure, especially for activities at height and heavy equipment operation. The integration of these four methods provides a mitigation strategy that is data-driven, cost-efficient, and applicable to large-scale and complex construction projects.

Abstract

The phenomenon of overspeeding in transportation equipment is commonly encountered in daily life. This also frequently occurs in industries involving long-distance travel using transportation or heavy equipment, such as in the mining industry, where dump trucks are widely used. This study focuses on a case in the oil and gas industry. The research adopts a quantitative approach using linear regression analysis to identify the relationship between average daily incentives and the percentage of overspeeding, chi-square test to examine the association between types of incentive schemes and overspeeding categories, and t-test to compare the average incentives between drivers who commit overspeeding violations and those who do not. The data were obtained from the Integrated Journey Management System (IJMS), covering 1,087 dump trucks over a six-month period. The results indicate a positive relationship between incentive amounts and overspeeding levels. Incentive schemes based on trip productivity tend to increase the risk of speed violations compared to distance-based schemes. These findings have important implications for companies and contractors in designing incentive policies that not only consider productivity but also driver safety. Integrating safety indicators into the incentive structure is key to building a safe and sustainable internal transportation system in the oil and gas industry.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of students notalways running smoothly, in the development, students experiencing obstacles and difficulty. The purpose of the research is to produce and analyze the data of adversity quotient and problem solving skill and see the effect of adversity quotient on problem solving skill of Guidance and Counseling Students, Sriwijaya University. This type of research is quantitative research using survey methods as well as data analysis techniques using regression analysis. The sample in this study of 142 students consisted of three generations of 2017, 2018 and 2019 Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sriwijaya University. Sampling techniques using Proportional Random Sampling. The instruments in this study used likert scale which has been tested validity and reliaitscredibility. The conclution is that there is an influence adversity quotient on problem solving skill of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education students of Sriwijaya University, its mean the higher adversity quotient of students in then the higher the problem solving skill owned by students of Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The implications of this research are used as input in the creation of guidance and counseling service programs.
