Spatial thinking is a crucial ability to be mastered by students. On the other hand, the rapid development of technology in education, such as augmented reality (AR), is predicted to increase significantly in 2035. This technology should be utilized to provide new insights for students. However, the condition of learning resources related to AR currently needs to be improved. This study aims to design mathematics teaching materials on geometry materials using AR to improve spatial thinking skills. This study uses the Plomp model development research, which consists of three stages: preliminary, prototyping, and assessment. It is important to note that this paper reports results from preliminary. This article reports by collecting data through literature studies and questionnaires to mathematics teachers in the Rokan Hulu district. The findings reveal that the use of GeoGebra as an AR builder in Indonesia still needs to be created because of the excellent potential of Geogebra. AR learning resources on geometry at the high school level also need to be improved. Teachers agree that learning using technology has become necessary and are interested in using AR, especially in the geometry field. Based on the findings, we designed and developed Geogebra AR-assisted teaching materials based on these findings to improve spatial thinking skills.

Algebra material in mathematics learning plays a crucial role as the foundation for abstract thinking among junior high school students. However, obstacles in task design in textbooks often hinder students' understanding of basic algebra concepts. This study aims to analyze the algebra material in Grade VII mathematics textbooks using a praxeological approach. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive, consisting of observation through selection, categorization, coding, and in situ analysis. The analyzed textbook is the Grade VII Mathematics book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in the 2017 revised edition. It was chosen due to its widespread use in schools across Indonesia. The main findings indicate that among the four task designs analyzed, many present epistemological and didactic obstacles, such as a lack of emphasis on fundamental algebra concepts and the presentation of unsystematic material. As a solution, this research proposes an alternative task design that focuses on contextual illustrations, independent exploration, and visualizations to enhance learning effectiveness. Although empirical validation has not yet been conducted, the findings provide a foundational framework for developing better algebra learning materials in the future. The implications of this research are expected to assist textbook developers and teachers in creating content that more effectively supports student learning.

Statistical literacy is an essential skill that is increasingly important in the information age, where the ability to understand, analyze, and interpret statistical data is an integral part of primary to secondary education. Amid technological developments and increasingly widespread access to data, statistical literacy is key in helping individuals make decisions based on strong evidence. This research aims to determine the research development on elementary school statistical literacy. The method used in this research is the bibliometric analysis method. The results of computational mapping, and interpreting the findings from the search results, obtained 200 articles from search results on Google Scholar using Publish or Perish that were relevant to elementary school statistical literacy from 2014 to 2024. The research results show that research on elementary school statistical literacy is minimal. From article analysis using VOSviewer, the development of publications related to statistical literacy from 2014 to 2024, out of 200 publications pertaining to statistical literacy, there are 6 publications. From these results, it can be concluded that studies on elementary school statistical literacy research are still limited. This means that research on this topic has a great opportunity to be carried out in the future to provide novelty in research.

This study aims to identify and analyze the learning obstacles experienced by students in volume instruction in grade 5 elementary school, as well as to design didactical interventions that can enhance students' critical thinking skills. The study uses the Didactical Design Research (DDR) approach, focusing on the first stage, which is analyzing the didactical situation before teaching. The findings show a complex interaction between three types of learning obstacles: ontogenic, didactic, and epistemological. Ontogenic obstacles are related to individual students' cognitive development, didactic obstacles are linked to the teaching methods used, and epistemological obstacles arise when students struggle to understand abstract concepts. The study found that didactic obstacles often exacerbate ontogenic and epistemological obstacles. Based on these findings, a didactical design was developed using the framework of Didactical Situations Theory (TDS), which aims to create learning situations that allow students to build understanding through interaction with challenging yet accessible materials. Future research is expected to proceed to the stages of meta-pedagogical and retrospective analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed didactical design in real-world learning contexts.

Learning mathematics at the Elementary School (SD) level is an important basis in building a good understanding of mathematical concepts in students. However, students often experience difficulties in understanding abstract and complex mathematical concepts. This can have an impact on reducing students' interest in learning mathematics. To overcome this problem, an audiobook based on RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) was developed which emphasizes the quality of sound recordings that are close to the experience of listening to voices directly, especially for mathematics materials at the elementary level. The research method used in this study is a research and development approach using the ADDIE model developed by Robert Maribe Branch. The ADDIE model is a development model consisting of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study show that audiobooks based on RME are valid and can be implemented in learning. Based on these results, the RME-based audiobook is ready to be implemented on a large scale and used as an effective alternative learning media in increasing conceptual understanding and interest in learning mathematics for fourth grade elementary school students in multiplication material.

In the literature, studies on technology-supported learning, especially using LMS, have been widely carried out during a pandemic. However, little is known about LMS, which is interesting and helps to develop students' statistical reasoning abilities for online learning by considering the students' Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) levels (High, medium and low). This study aims to examine and analyze the differences in statistical reasoning abilities of students who study using LMS in terms of SRL levels (high, medium and low). This study uses a quantitative method with the type of One-group pre-test post-test design. What took sampled randomly at the University of Pasundan Bandung, totalling 54 third-level students of Pasundan University Bandung, Indonesia. Research data related to statistical reasoning abilities were collected through a test consisting of six questions. In contrast, SRL level data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 46 question items. Paired t-test and One-way ANOVA analysis were applied to answer the research hypothesis. The results of the study concluded that students studying with LMS with High SRL obtained a higher increase in statistical reasoning ability than students studying with LMS with Medium and low SRL categories, with the criteria for improvement in the three categories being in the high and medium improvement categories. Research findings related to learning using LMS can be used as an alternative learning model in online learning situations.
