Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Brand Ambassador dan Brand Image terhadap Keputusan Pembelian smartphone iPhone di Kota Padang, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada konsumen iPhone di Kota Padang. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Brand Ambassador berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian dengan nilai signifikansi 0,003 (<0,05). Brand Image juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05) serta menjadi variabel yang lebih dominan. Secara simultan, Brand Ambassador dan Brand Image berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Sig. 0,000 <0,05) dengan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,402, yang berarti kedua variabel mampu menjelaskan 40,2% variasi keputusan pembelian, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keputusan pembelian iPhone di Kota Padang dipengaruhi secara kuat oleh faktor simbolik dan persepsional, khususnya citra merek premium yang telah tertanam dalam benak konsumen. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi empiris terhadap kajian perilaku konsumen pada produk smartphone premium di tingkat regional.

Abstract

Mathematics education continues to encounter enduring challenges in fostering students’ mathematical reasoning and conceptual understanding, particularly in geometry, where learning frequently remains procedural and empirically driven. This study reports a participatory design research (PDR) project that operationalized a Didactical Situation–Based Online Learning (DS-OL) approach to enhance eighth-grade students’ mathematical reasoning (MR) and understanding (MU) in the topic of lines and angles. The research involved 120 students and 16 mathematics teachers, implemented through four iterative PDR phases: co-exploration, co-design, iterative implementation, and collaborative analysis. Diagnostic findings from the co-exploration phase indicated a predominance of instrumental understanding and empirically or authority-based reasoning, informing critical design decisions. During the co-design phase, principles from the Theory of Didactical Situations were transformed into online learning components structured around action, formulation, validation, and institutionalization, and were iteratively refined across two implementation cycles. Across these cycles, significant improvements were observed in students’ MR and MU, including marked pre–post gains (mean scores increasing from 65.00 to 83.79; Cohen’s d = 2.60) and shifts toward more deductive reasoning and relational understanding. Framed within a design-based epistemology, these findings are interpreted as design-supported enhancements rather than evidence of causal effectiveness. The study contributes to design-based knowledge by articulating empirically grounded principles for operationalizing didactical situations within online geometry learning environments.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that remains a major public health problem because it can lead to serious complications such as heart disease and stroke. Low public awareness and limited knowledge about risk factors and prevention of hypertension causes many cases to remain undetected at an early stage. This community service activity aims to improve community knowledge and awareness in controlling hypertension through community-based health education and blood pressure screening. The method used consisted of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The activity involved 30 participants who had a history of hypertension. The intervention included health education about hypertension, blood pressure examinations, and health consultations for participants with high blood pressure. The results showed an increase in community knowledge after health education, where the proportion of participants with good knowledge increased from 20% to 70%. In addition, participants showed greater awareness of regularly checking their blood pressure and adopting healthier lifestyles. This activity indicates that community-based health education and screening are effective strategies to increase public awareness in hypertension control.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the free association that occurs among the children of female Muslim study group members in Sorong district, to analyze the internalization of Islamic parenting in the families of the female Muslim study group congregants att Sorong regency, and to assess the challenges and obstacles faced in internalizing Islamic parenting in the families of the female Muslim study group congregants at Sorong regency. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The approach of this research is a phenomenological approach, and the data sources consist of primary data from interviews and secondary data from books and documentation. The data collection methods in the research use observation, interviews, and also documentation. The data processing and analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that, firstly, the promiscuity that occurs is caused by several factors, namely a lack of parental attention, a lack of religious understanding, mistakes in choosing a social environment, and a tendency to use mobile phones and social media. Promiscuity consists of two types of deviant behavior, namely consuming alcoholic beverages and engaging in sex outside of marriage. Secondly; The internalization of Islamic parenting as expressed by twenty-six informants is relevant to the concept of Islamic parenting theory put forward by Al-Atas and Al-Ghazali regarding the introduction of beliefs and worship, the presence of role modeling, habituation, selection of formal and non-formal educational institutions, especially in religious education, providing a space for discussion, providing supervision and punishment as a means of shaping children's morals and interactions, as well as providing rewards to enhance children's motivation for worship. Thirdly; Factors that hinder and challenge the internalization of Islamic parenting include the limited resources of speakers or ustadz or those delivering sermons who are experts in the field of parenting, the different backgrounds of the congregation in the study group, the lack of supporting facilities, insufficient religious understanding and attention from parents, the mistake of choosing the environment, and the misuse of mobile phones and social media. The implications in this research are divided into theoretical implications, which strengthen the theory of Islamic parenting according to Al-Ghazali and Al-Attas, and the theory of religious socialization proposed by Ronald L. Johnston. Meanwhile, the practical implications are expected for the management of study groups and those delivering sermons to consistently enhance their role as a source of knowledge in non-formal educational institutions that are greatly needed by the community, to encourage the participants of the women's study groups to continually learn and reflect on themselves, and for teenagers and pre-adolescents to always be cautious and protect themselves from free association that can endanger themselves and those they care about.

Abstract

Background: Diarrhea is still a health problem in the world, there are about 2 million cases of diarrhea worldwide every year, and 1,9 million children under five die from diarrhea every year. Diarrheal disease in Indonesia is an endemic disease and has the potential for extraordinary events. Diarrhea is the 3 highest infectious disease in North Sulawesi in 2016 with a total of 23.881 cases. Objectives: His study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of clean water and the use of latrines with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Gogagoman Village, Kotamobagu in 2020. Research methods: This type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional design with a total sample of 43 respondents. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. Data were collected by direct interviews with respondents and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi square test. Results: The results showed that 44,6% of respondents who had children under five suffered from diarrhea, 40,8% of respondents who used clean water did not meet the requirements, 41,5% of respondents who used latrines did not meet health requirements. The statistical test results showed that there was a relationship between the use of stick water and the incidence of diarrhea in children under five (p=0,023<0,05) and there was a relationship between latrine use and the incidence of diarrhea among children under five (p=0,000<0,05) in Gogagoman Village, Kotamobagu. Conclusion: here is a relationship between the use of clean water and the use of latrines with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Gogagoman Village, Kotamobagu in 2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the implementation of corporate social responsibility/CSR is carried out by PT. XYZ Indonesia is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and to find out the effect of implementing these Corporate Social Responsibility activities. The method used in this study is observation by collecting data obtained through interviews with the company and the community and paying attention to the supporting literature. The data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively and presented in detail descriptive by the author. Based on the results of the research and the data obtained, it can be concluded that the CSR activities carried out by PT. XYZ Indonesia in the form of compensation for orphans and slaughter of sacrificial animals which aims to build a positive image and create an image that the company pays attention to the condition of the surrounding community. There are several obstacles faced by the company in carrying out this CSR activity, namely a lot of data that is not in accordance with the database that has been made by the committee, and the difficulty of managing the people who come. However, these obstacles can be overcome with various solutions carried out by the organizers such as coordinating with the local RT/RW and creating a coupon exchange system that has been made before.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of digital media as a means of promoting education within public schools, specifically at SD Negeri Kedawung II Kuripan Probolinggo. In today’s digital era, social media and other digital platforms have become strategic tools for building the image and communication of educational institutions to the wider public. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, involving data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the use of digital media at SD Negeri Kedawung II has enhanced the school’s visibility, strengthened communication with parents, and attracted public interest in the educational programs offered. The main challenges lie in the limited human resources and insufficient technological proficiency, which still need to be improved. Nevertheless, digital media has proven effective in strengthening the branding of public schools when managed consistently and professionally. This study recommends the establishment of a school digital promotion team, specialized training for content managers, and policy support from the local Department of Education.

Abstract

This article investigates the ethical challenges posed by algorithmic visibility in contemporary digital platforms through the lens of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, with particular emphasis on the reconceptualization of ḥifẓ al-ʿirḍ (the protection of dignity). While existing studies on digital ethics predominantly rely on secular frameworks, limited attention has been given to how Islamic legal-ethical principles respond to the commodification of the self in platform-mediated environments. This study aims to address this gap by examining how Qur’anic values of modesty (ḥayāʾ) and concealment (sitr) can be reformulated within algorithmic systems that incentivize exposure and self-disclosure. Employing qualitative library research, this study integrates Qur’anic exegesis, contextualist hermeneutics, and a maqāṣid al-sharīʿah approach to develop a normative framework for digital conduct. The findings demonstrate that ḥifẓ al-ʿirḍ must be expanded beyond its classical focus on physical morality to include the governance of digital visibility and self-representation, while also revealing a structural tension between the ethical imperative of dignity preservation and the economic logic of digital platforms that commodify personal identity. This article proposes the concept of digital modesty as an ethical framework rooted in maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, positioning it as a form of ethical resistance against self-commodification, while reaffirming the continued relevance of Islamic legal principles and offering a contextualized normative guide for navigating privacy, intimacy, and visibility in algorithm-driven environments.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkotika di Indonesia merupakan permasalahan serius yang berdampak pada kesehatan, sosial, dan memicu overcrowding di lembaga pemasyarakatan. Pendekatan retributif berupa pidana penjara seringkali tidak efektif dalam menyembuhkan pecandu, justru berisiko memperparah ketergantungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan restorative justice (keadilan restoratif) melalui rehabilitasi sebagai alternatif penyelesaian tindak pidana penyalahgunaan narkotika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa restorative justice bagi penyalahguna narkotika berlandaskan pada UU No. 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, Peraturan Kepolisian No. 8 Tahun 2021, dan Pedoman Jaksa Agung No. 18 Tahun 2021, yang mengedepankan pemulihan daripada pembalasan. Pendekatan ini menempatkan pecandu dan korban penyalahgunaan narkotika sebagai pihak yang memerlukan pengobatan medis dan sosial, bukan sebagai kriminal yang harus dipenjara. Penerapan restorative justice melibatkan Tim Asesmen Terpadu (TAT) untuk memastikan pelaku adalah pengguna murni, bukan pengedar. Keberhasilan restorative justice memerlukan sinergi aparat penegak hukum, kesiapan fasilitas rehabilitasi, dan dukungan masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, restorative justice memberikan solusi manusiawi yang efektif untuk memulihkan pecandu, mengurangi beban negara akibat kelebihan kapasitas lapas, dan reintegrasi sosial yang lebih baik, sejalan dengan prinsip keadilan yang proporsional.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the persistent gap in assessing students’ conceptual understanding, particularly on the topic of temperature and heat. Although the PDEODE learning model has been widely reported to improve learning outcomes, many previous studies have not examined indicators of conceptual understanding in depth or compared them comprehensively with conventional learning approaches. Therefore, this study aims to determine the differences in students’ understanding of physics concepts between those taught using the PDEODE model and those taught using conventional methods in grade XI at SMAN 10 Bone. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach, specifically the Matching Only Posttest Control Group Design. The sample consisted of two classes selected through a two-step matching sampling technique, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 validated items. Data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The hypothesis test used was the Mann-Whitney test, which resulted in an Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.049, indicating that the p-value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05. The findings revealed that the average conceptual understanding score of students in the experimental class was 68.12 (good category), while the control class scored 59.79 (moderate category). These results indicate that students taught using the PDEODE model demonstrated higher conceptual understanding. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PDEODE learning model positively influences students’ understanding of physics concepts.
