Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan aspek yang penting dalam pendidikan, yang nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai indikator keberhasilan siswa dalam memahami dan menguasai materi pelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara gaya belajar dan kreativitas siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Proses dalam penelitian ini meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu pengumpulan data, analisis dan pembahasan, serta penarikan kesimpulan pada tahap akhir. Pada penelitian ini, pengumpulan datanya dengan meriview sebanyak 21 artikel berdasarkan topik utama yaitu hasil belajar, gaya belajar, dan kreativitas siswa yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2016-2024. Artikel tersebut dikumpulkan dari database Google Scholar dengan bantuan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh gaya belajar dan kreativitas siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan penelitian-penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa siswa yang belajar dengan metode yang sesuai dengan gaya belajarnya menunjukkan peningkatan pada hasil belajarnya.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a fun learning model based on interactive wordwall games on informative text reading material in class V of Bangbayang 2 Elementary School, Cianjur Regency. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The designed media is then validated by the validator using a validation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. Product validation consists of material and media experts. To practice product quality, this is done by filling out teacher and student response questionnaires. Then, the effectiveness test is carried out by giving evaluation questions to students. The results of media research obtained a validity level of 86% from the material aspect in the very valid category, 80% from the media aspect in the valid category. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of interactive wordwall media using a fun learning model in Indonesian language learning in class V elementary school is declared practical, effective, and suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Digital media such as TikTok has become a significant innovation in teaching expository texts in the digital era. However, many students still struggle to recognize the structure and language features of expository texts, affecting the quality of their writing. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TikTok as a learning media based on Discovery Learning to improve expository writing skills among tenth-grade students of MA Al-Falah Sukabumi. The research employed a pretest-posttest control group design with data collection techniques including tests (pretest and posttest) and non-test methods (questionnaires and observations). The subjects consisted of 36 students break into experimental and control groups. The finding showed a significant improvement in the writing skills of the experimental group. Furthermore, 87% of students reported that TikTok made the learning process more engaging and easier to rcognize. In conclusion, TikTok is an effective innovation for Discovery Learning-based teaching to enhance students' expository writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) The effect of the application of the DLDPF model on improving TDBI writing proficiency; (2) Differences between student learning outcomes with the DLDPF model and without DLDPF; and (3) Student obstacles in the application of the DLDPF model. The design of this study is a pseudo-experiment with a non-equivalent comparison group design scheme. The researcher used a nonprobability sampling technique in the form of total sampling. The instruments used in this study are tests and questionnaires. The test instrument is in the form of an essay test with four aspects of assessment criteria (content, organization, grammar, and vocabulary). There are also document study instruments and semi-open questionnaires with the Likert Scale. The results of the study revealed the following findings. First, the results of the paired sample test showed a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 < 0.05 which means that there is a significant influence of the application of the DLDPF model on the improvement of TDBI writing proficiency. Second, the results of the independent sample t-test showed a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 < 0.05 which means that the application of the DLDPF model has a significant impact on improving TDBI writing proficiency. In addition, the experimental class has an N-gain score of 0.59 which means it has a moderate level of improvement. The control class has an N-gain score of 0.24 which means it has a low level of improvement. In other words, it shows that there is a difference between student learning outcomes with the DLDPF model and student learning outcomes with no DLDPF model. And third, respondents showed few obstacles in the application of the DLDPF model, including: (1) Most of the respondents (70.53%) did not experience linguistic barriers; and (2) Most respondents (70%) did not experience nonlinguistic barriers.

Abstract

Character education in the family is the main foundation in the formation of ethical and moral individuals. This research aims to explore the concept of character education based on an Al-Quran perspective in the family environment. The method used is library research, by collecting data from various relevant primary and secondary literature sources. The research results show that family character education has main components, namely objectives, programs, processes and evaluation. Based on the Koran, the goals of character education include protecting the family from the torment of hell, forming noble morals, and creating individuals who are strong spiritually, socially and professionally. Educational programs include example, habituation, advice, motivation and punishment. The educational process relies on the curriculum and applicable methods such as example and habituation. Evaluation is carried out through continuous observation of children's performance. This research confirms that the family has a vital role in forming a generation with strong character, in line with the guidance of the Koran, in order to create a society with noble morals. This research also identifies stages of character education starting from pre-marriage to childhood and adolescence, with an approach based on Islamic values, such as prayer, moral education and example.

Abstract

The mathematical literacy skills of Indonesian students, as reflected in the PISA results, continue to be a concern because of their poor performance. Students with high mathematical disposition and high self-efficacy are often more proficient in mathematical literacy. This study aimed to examine how mathematical disposition and self-efficacy affect students’ mathematical literacy skills. This study employed a quantitative approach with a nonexperimental design and adopted a causal associative methodology. Data collection involved administering mathematical disposition and self-efficacy questionnaires, along with a mathematical literacy test, to 56 junior high school students. The analysis was performed using structural equation modeling-partial least squares (SEM-PLS) in the JASP 0.18.3.0 application. The results showed that mathematical disposition significantly enhances both self-efficacy and mathematical literacy skills. Conversely, while self-efficacy positively influenced mathematical literacy skills, the effect was not statistically significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kesulitan siswa selama pembelajaran berbasis kinestetik, mengukur peningkatan pemahaman konsep dasar bangun ruang setelah penerapan metode tersebut, serta menganalisis keefektifan pembelajaran berbasis kinestetik secara keseluruhan pada siswa kelas IX SMPN 12 Kota Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan model Miles & Huberman meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Selama proses pembelajaran guru menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis kinestetik dan di akhir pembelajaran siswa mengisi lembar angket untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis kinestetik ini dapat dijadikan alternatif agar kegiatan pembelajaran tidak monoton yang membuat siswa bosan dan berdampak akan pemahaman siswa pada materi yang diajarkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pemahaman peserta didik dan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan pada materi bangun ruang.

Abstract

Penting bagi pendidik untuk tidak hanya melihat hasil pekerjaan siswa, tetapi juga proses pemahaman matematis saat siswa menyelesaikan masalah. Folding back merupakan proses krusial dalam teori Pirie-Kieren tentang growth of mathematical understanding. Folding back adalah proses ketika siswa kembali ke level pemahaman yang lebih rendah untuk mengembangkan pemahaman matematis mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran keberagaman proses folding back siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah open-ended pada materi trigonometri ditinjau berdasarkan resiliensi matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus di kelas X Tata Busana dengan melibatkan 6 orang subjek penelitian. Terdapat 3 temuan yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini yaitu; (1) siswa dengan resiliensi matematis yang sangat tinggi dapat lebih banyak melakukan folding back secara mandiri; (2) siswa dengan resiliensi matematis sangat tinggi, tinggi, maupun cukup, seringkali mengalami folding back ke level primitive knowing; serta (3) ada kalanya siswa tidak dapat mencapai level pemahaman yang lebih tinggi atau sama dengan level pemahaman sebelumnya setelah melakukan folding back.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan memaparkan hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian mengenai inovasi gerakan literasi sekolah melalu pembelajaran literasi dengan bercerita berbasis cerita anak digital di Yayasan Al-Azhar Azzaini. Pengabdian dilaksanakan pada 2 - 6 Mei 2024 dengan pelaksanaan secara daring dan luring (grup whatsapp). Gerakan Literasi Sekolah merupakan merupakan gerakan literasi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dengan menyediakan waktu membaca selama 15 menit setiap hari pada saat pembelajaran atau sesuai kondisi dan kebijakan sekolah. Inovasi yang dilakukan dengan melatih guru untuk membuat sendiri bahan literasi berupa cerita anak digital menggunakan canva. Dari hasil pelatihan tersebut, peserta pengabdian yang merupakan guru dibagi menjadi lima kelompok. Sehingga menghasilkan lima cerita anak digital di dalam canva, dengan jenjang baca B1 dan B2. Kelima cerita anak tersebut bertema literasi finansial, literasi sains, literasi numerasi, kebersihan, dan sanitasi. Keberterimaan materi pengabdian, dievaluasi melalui angket yang disebar melalui google form kepada responden, dengan hasil respon sangat baik dan dapat dipahami.

Abstract

Mathematics is a discipline that studies logic, making it challenging to teach abstract and conceptual topics to students with intellectual disabilities. This study aims to systematically review educational research related to mathematics learning media for students with intellectual disabilities using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology. The research employed the PRISMA method using Covidence software. Initially, 200 articles indexed in Google Scholar were obtained through Publish or Perish using keywords such as "learning media," "mathematics learning," and "intellectual disabilities." After processing through Covidence, 38 articles meeting the researchers' criteria were selected. The analysis revealed that most articles were published in 2023, with a majority conducted in East Java. The article titled "Educational Counting Games for Elementary School Children Using Mobile-Based RPG Maker" was the most cited, with 265 citations. The most commonly used research method was Classroom Action Research (CAR). Additionally, the most frequently used learning media were teaching aids, mentioned in 12 articles.
