Abstract

This study discusses the Meuri’ tradition, a hereditary custom practiced by the Mandar community in Pamboang District, Majene Regency, specifically performed by pregnant women. The main focus of this research is to examine the tradition from the perspective of Islamic law. The sub-issues explored include the origin of the Meuri’ tradition, its implementation process, and how Islamic law views this practice. The research employs a qualitative method with sociological and Sharia approaches. Primary data were obtained through interviews with traditional leaders and local community members, while secondary data came from government documents and relevant literature. The findings show that Meuri’ is part of a traditional seven-month pregnancy ritual of the Mandar people, believed to bring blessings to both mother and fetus. The tradition begins with an intention, followed by consultation with a sando (traditional birth attendant) to determine the appropriate time for the ceremony, along with preparations of necessary items. Islamic elements in the tradition are reflected through the recitation of barzanji, salawat (praises to the Prophet), and the use of basmalah (invocation) at the start. This tradition embodies positive social and spiritual values. The study is expected to enrich local cultural references and encourage communities to maintain social bonds and reinforce Islamic values within cultural practices.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Informatika di tingkat SMA menunjukkan perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif guna meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pada peserta didik kelas X8 SMAN 11 Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 41,67% pada Siklus I Pertemuan I menjadi 61,11% pada Pertemuan II. Meskipun terjadi penurunan pada Siklus II Pertemuan I sebesar 44,44%, peningkatan signifikan kembali terjadi pada Pertemuan II menjadi 75,00%. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz berdampak positif terhadap keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Quizizz efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dan dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di mata pelajaran yang kompleks seperti Informatika.

Abstract

Briket merupakan salah satu sumber energi alternatif berbasis biomassa yang telah diteliti dan dikembangkan untuk mengurangi degradasi lingkungan akibat penggunaan bahan bakar fosil sejak lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu dan suhu optimal pada proses karbonisasi cangkang kemiri untuk menghasilkan briket berkualitas tinggi. Limbah cangkang kemiri dipilih untuk diubah menjadi briket dan diuji. Suhu karbonisasi divariasikan menjadi 300, 400, 500, dan 600 oC, sedangkan waktu karbonisasi divariasikan menjadi 60, 90, dan 120 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu karbonisasi kulit kemiri yang tinggi menghasilkan kerapatan yang tinggi, susut bobot yang rendah, laju pembakaran yang rendah, dan nilai kalor yang tinggi. Suhu karbonisasi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap kadar air dan kuat tekan, sedangkan waktu karbonisasi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap seluruh parameter kualitas yang diuji dalam penelitian ini. Kualitas briket lebih sensitif terhadap perubahan suhu karbonisasi dibandingkan dengan waktu karbonisasi. Meskipun briket yang dikarbonisasi pada suhu 600 oC selama 60 menit menghasilkan kualitas yang lebih baik (kerapatan lebih tinggi, kehilangan berat lebih rendah, laju pembakaran lebih rendah, dan nilai kalor lebih tinggi) dibandingkan dengan kondisi karbonisasi lain yang diuji dalam penelitian ini, namun hasil pengujian parameter kadar air dan nilai kalor tidak memenuhi persyaratan SNI.

Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW) is a baby's weight at birth less than 2,500 grams. The birth of LBW babies is a major contributor to both short and long term neonatal morbidity and death. The number of LBW in Central Buton Regency reported in 2021 is getting worse than in 2020. Therefore, Logistic Regression Analysis in needed to identify and model the factors that influence LBW cases in Central Buton district. The data used in this study is secondary data on the population of birth weight in infants during the period January – June 2022. Data was obtained from the Medical Record of Puskesmas in Central Buton district, Mawasangka district area and Gu district area. The number of samples in the study was 327 infants. The model produced in this study is ĝ(x) = -37535 + 2,3562X1 + 1,2097X2 + 1,4590X4. From this model, it is known that the factors that significantly affect LBW in Buton Tengah Regency are gestational age (X1), Hb levels (X2) and pregnancy complications (X4) with an accuracy value of 90,51%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the understanding of Class VIIIC students of SMP IT Qurrota A'yun Palu in solving the story problems of the Two Variable Linear Equation System. The research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The result of this study is that the understanding of students with high abilities shows that students tend to have a good understanding, both from understanding translation, understanding interpretation, and understanding extrapolation. The understanding of students with moderate ability shows that students have a good understanding of understanding translation and interpretation, but lacking in understanding extrapolation. Moderately capable students are able to convey and understand story problems, interpret and describe the intent of the questions, and determine the concept or appropriate steps properly and correctly. However, it is inaccurate and there are errors in applying the concept of mathematical calculations and concluding answers. The understanding of low-ability students has a fairly good understanding, on translational understanding, low-ability students can convey and understand story problems, but are unable to interpret and describe the intent of the questions, determine concepts or steps for solving problems and are unable to apply the concept of calculation and conclude the answer completely, which means that low-ability students are very lacking in understanding interpretation and extrapolation.

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis adalah keterampilan penting yang mendukung keberhasilan siswa dalam mempelajari dan memahami konsep-konsep matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP berdasarkan studi literatur yang relevan. Dengan mengumpulkan artikel dan penelitian terkini antara tahun 2020 hingga 2024, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi matematis, termasuk penggunaan metode pembelajaran, interaksi sosial, serta teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah, kolaboratif, dan teknologi digital memainkan peran kunci dalam meningkatkan komunikasi matematis siswa. Pembelajaran yang melibatkan diskusi dan presentasi memungkinkan siswa untuk mengartikulasikan pemikiran matematis mereka dengan lebih baik. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik untuk merancang metode pengajaran yang mendukung pengembangan komunikasi matematis siswa secara efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Drill learning method assisted by puzzle media on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade III students of SD No. 21 Bulukunyi, Takalar Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design type, involving two groups, namely class IIIA as the experimental class and class IIIB as the control class. The research instruments were in the form of learning outcome tests and checklists, which had gone through validity and reliability tests. Data analysis used an independent sample t-test to ensure that the data was normal and homogeneous. The results of the study showed that the application of the Drill learning method assisted by puzzle media had a significant effect on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. Thus, the drill method assisted by puzzle media can be an effective, innovative method to improve mathematics learning outcomes, especially in building concrete conceptual understanding.

Abstract

The swift advancement of worldwide education necessitates the enhancement of Education Management quality to guarantee educational standards, particularly in Papua, which faces geographical obstacles and infrastructural limitations. This service seeks to enhance the quality of Education Management in Papua by fortifying the leadership of school principals and executing strategic planning tailored to local conditions. Papua confronts significant obstacles in education, including inadequate infrastructure and accessibility, although the existing special autonomy legislation. This program, conducted from November 4-7, 2024, in Jayapura, engaged administrators, teachers, and educational staff in an interactive training encompassing theory, discussion, practice, and mentoring. Effectively enhance participants' knowledge and skills in formulating school strategic planning, while also inspiring them to execute the strategy. Participants expressed considerable satisfaction with the materials and methodologies employed; nevertheless, suggestions were made to extend the time of the question-and-answer session and enhance the utilisation of technology in the training process. The significance of this service indicates that enhancing educational quality in Papua is largely contingent upon fortifying the role of school principals as strategic leaders. By use of organised training and mentorship, school principals can more efficiently formulate and execute strategic planning that addresses local need.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an is not easy, there are so many obstacles faced by students. The study intends to identify the problems of students in memorizing the Qur'an and provide solutions to make the memorization process easier. This study was conducted at the Raudlatul Fatah Puspan Maron Probolinggo Islamic Boarding School, by implementing qualitative research and a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. Interviews were conducted with several students and ustads at the Raudlatul Fatah Puspan Maron Islamic Boarding School. The study findings suggest that the problems of students memorizing the Qur'an were internal (internal) and external (external) problems, for example internal problems are 1) Laziness in students 2) difficulty in managing time 3) and lack of concentration, while external problems are 1) environmental influences 2) busy activities 3) lack of support from the family also greatly influences students 4) peer factors. From various problems that exist, researchers provide solutions to handle the problems of students memorizing the Qur'an by fighting laziness with motivation, providing easy methods. And finally, evaluation to find out the development of students' memorization. The conclusion is that students face problems from internal and external factors, and are given solutions to overcome problems and also provide strong methods to strengthen memorization such as the talaqqi, takrir, murojaah methods. and evaluation is carried out through routine tahsin, murojaah and munaqosya exams every year.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology, in principle, can be applied to overcome these problems, namely by making temperature and humidity monitoring devices that work electronically. Temperature and humidity in the swallow house can be detected using a DHT22 sensor, then processed by the ESP32 SIM800L microcontroller and displayed in the form of an output in the form of steam spraying from a steam engine that can turn on and off. This study uses a descriptive research method which provides an overview of what actually happened, while the data collection method used is to observe directly the object of research at the swallow bird house on Jl. H. A. Moh. Arsyad, Soreang District, Parepare City. and the testing carried out is blackbox testing that focuses on the functional requirements of the software. The design method is a prototype. The result of this research is a system that can monitor the conditions of temperature and humidity in the swallow house. The results of testing the design of this tool conclude that the expected functions are all successful as desired.
