Abstract

Several acne therapy modalities have been widely used to eradicate Propionibacterium acnes, the causative pathogen of acne. However, it cannot treat acne optimally and has adverse effects. Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris) possesses antibacterial activity. Based on the antibacterial activity of S. palustris, its leaf can be utilized as an alternative acne therapeutic substance. Therefore, this study investigated the effects of the ethanol extract of S. palustris leaf on P. acnes. The extraction of S. palustris was performed using maceration with 96% ethanol. The antibiotic activity test was divided into five groups: a positive control group (Clindamycin), a negative control group (Propionibacterium acnesATCC®6919), and three test groups with concentration gradients. Phytochemical analysis was positive for the identification of saponins, tannins, alkaloids, steroids and flavonoids. The inhibitory diameter of P. acnes at 75% extraction concentration was closest to that of the positive control group and has inhibition zone of diameter 13,99 + 0,77 (strong inhibition) indicating its effectiveness in inhibiting the growth of P. acnes. Based on the antibacterial activity of the ethanol extract of S. palustris leaf, the leaf extract has the potential to be used as a medicinal substance in acne therapy.

Abstract

Abstract: The Islamic Religious Education curriculum has an important role in shaping the character and spiritual abilities of students in accordance with the demands of the competency-based curriculum. Objectives, content/materials, learning strategies, and evaluation are the main components of the Islamic Education curriculum. This study used a qualitative approach, using descriptive-analytical methods and document studies, to analyse the relationship and role of each component to ensure that educational goals are optimally achieved. The results showed that the four elements encourage each other and must be planned in an integrated manner so that PAI learning can run effectively, contextually, and in accordance with the times. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for developing a customised PAI curriculum that is able to form a competent and characterful Muslim generation.Keywords: Islamic Education Curriculum, Curriculum Components, Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

Anemia pada ibu hamil merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi dan berdampak serius terhadap ibu maupun janin, seperti risiko perdarahan, kelahiran prematur, berat badan lahir rendah, hingga kematian ibu dan bayi. Edukasi menjadi salah satu strategi penting dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan anemia selama kehamilan. Kegiatan edukasi ini dilaksanakan di Tempat Praktek Mandiri Bidan (TPMB) Siti Halimah yang berlokasi di Desa Bantarjaya, Kecamatan Pebayuran, Kabupaten Bekasi. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang anemia, penyebab, dampak, serta pencegahan melalui pola makan bergizi dan konsumsi tablet tambah darah (TTD). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan kesehatan dengan media leaflet dan diskusi interaktif yang melibatkan ibu hamil yang sedang melakukan pemeriksaan kehamilan di TPMB tersebut. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pengertian anemia, gejala, bahaya anemia pada kehamilan, pentingnya asupan zat besi, serta cara mengonsumsi TTD yang benar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman ibu hamil mengenai anemia setelah edukasi dilakukan, yang ditunjukkan dari antusiasme saat diskusi dan peningkatan skor pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong perubahan perilaku ibu hamil dalam menjaga status gizi dan rutin mengonsumsi TTD, sehingga dapat menurunkan angka kejadian anemia di kalangan ibu hamil.

Abstract

From the initial observation on 11-10-2024 at SMPS Al-Wasliyah I Medan, the current learning process in the subject of Akidah Akhlak has been going well, because the teacher’s accuracy in choosing the model and learning media in approaching, methods, choosing teaching materials, providing media such as textbooks, interaction patterns with students and classroom management that can create a pleasant learning atmosphere. However, the learning method used by the teacher of the subject of akidah akhlak at SMPS is a method that is less varied or like in general, namely the lecture method, discussion, demonstration and memorization. The purpose of this study is to increase the effectiveness of the use of Tiktok-based Akidah Akhlak learning media in order to improve learning outcomes and student creativity at Al-Washliyah Medan School. This research method uses the Research and Development/R&D research method which is translated into Indonesian as design and development research. The results of the study stated that the TikTok application is feasible, effective and practical as a learning medium because students cannot be separated from technology and social media. It is the educator’s job to guide students to display positive things on social media and guide them to think critically when they see bad things such as videos containing negative content. Learning carried out through TikTok is able to provide good learning and is able to improve students’ critical thinking skills because it is able to attract students’ interest in carrying out learning with the conclusion of implementing Akidah Akhlak learning using a curriculum adjusted by the government. Based on data obtained from the results of extensive trials, it was found that the development of TikTok-based Akidah Akhlak learning media in addition to students being able to carry out individual and independent learning activities.

Abstract

The use of digital technology is starting to be of interest to educators for the continuity of learning with technological advances, teachers are expected to be able to master learning strategies through digital applications, digital technology is expected to be able to improve the learning process. The development of digital technology has changed the educational landscape significantly,One area that feels the impact is economic learning. one of the technological innovations to make it interesting and can help educators easily carry out assessment evaluations. The purpose of this study is to determine whether digital applications can help teachers to increase students' interest in learning. The method used is a qualitative research method with field studies, the results of the study state that digital applications can increase students' interest and motivation to learn so that learning can run as expected.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve Qur'anic reading skills, particularly in the areas of tajweed and the articulation of makhraj (letter pronunciation), among children at Reysha Mulya Cendekia Qur'an Learning Center in Pekanbaru. The program includes several main activities, such as Qur'an recitation improvement (tahsin), tajweed training, as well as monitoring and evaluation of student progress. Initial observations revealed that many students still struggle with proper pronunciation of Arabic letters and understanding the rules of tajweed. Therefore, this service program was designed to provide intensive training through regularly scheduled guidance sessions, held three times a week. The results of the program are: 1) method of implementation. the stages of implementation consisted of the following steps: a) initial observation, b) needs assessment, c) tajweed training program, d) ongoing evaluation.2) challenges in teaching tajweed and qur’anic reading, a) lack of basic mastery among children,b) low motivation and learning spirit, c) lack of variety in teaching methods, d) limited learning facilities and media, e) shortage of teaching staff, f) lack of parental support at home. Through ongoing evaluation, this activity is expected to bring even greater positive impacts for future generations, particularly in their understanding and practice of the teachings of the Qur’an

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the management of Islamic Religious Education curriculum development at MTs Irsyadul Islamiyah Rokan Hilir. This research is a qualitative research using interview, observation and documentation techniques as the data collection technique. Based on the results of the analysis carried out by the author, it can be seen that: the management of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in the development of Islamic Religious Education learning at MTs Irsyadul Islamiyah Rokan Hilir is as follows: a) formulating the vision, mission, and learning objectives to be achieved by conducting internal meetings and preparation of annual and semester program planning; b) maximizing the needs of students, society, users of graduates and advanced studies by adjusting the curriculum and appropriate methods needed by students in accordance with the times; c) carry out a curriculum evaluation to find out whether the curriculum developed and studied is in accordance with existing needs and is appropriate; d) discussions with experts with the aim of getting input on the developed curriculum and adapting it to needs; e) harmonize with the era.KEYWORDS: Management; Curriculum Development; Curriculum Planning; Curriculum Evaluation. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam di MTs Irsyadul Islamiyah Rokan Hilir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan datanya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang penulis dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa: manajemen kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pengembangan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam  di MTs Irsyadul Islamiyah Rokan Hilir adalah sebagai berikut: a) melakukan perumusan visi, misi, dan tujuan pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai dengan melakukan rapat internal dan penyusunan perencanaan program tahunan dan semester; b) memaksimalkan kebutuhan siswa, masyarakat, pengguna lulusan dan studi lanjutan dengan menyesuaikan kurikulum dan metode yang tepat yang dibutuhkan siswa sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman; c) melaksanakan evaluasi kurikulum untuk mengetahui apakah kurikulum yang di kembangakan dan dipelajari sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang ada dan sudah tepat; d) diskusi dengan pakar dengan tujuan medapatkan masukan terhadap kurikulum yang dikembangkan dan meyesuaikannya dengan kebutuhan; e) menyelaraskan dengan perkembangan zaman.KATA KUNCI: Manajemen; Pengembangan Kurikulum; Perencanaan Kurikulum; Evaluasi Kurikulum.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Education at SMA Negeri 1 and SMA Negeri 2 Sibolga, focusing on the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. It addresses the need for empirical evidence regarding the application of character-based curriculum practices in non-metropolitan areas, particularly within the context of contextual and transformative religious education. Design/methods/approach – Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and a multisite study design, this research involves participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and curriculum document analysis. Data were analyzed through a cross-site thematic approach to uncover convergent and divergent patterns in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, including differentiated learning strategies and the application of project-based learning (P5). Findings – SMA Negeri 1 implemented a gradual approach through structured training, while SMA Negeri 2 adopted a more responsive model through independent teacher exploration and collective reflection. Teacher readiness, digital infrastructure, participatory leadership, and active student engagement emerged as key factors. Project-based learning and formative assessment enhanced student engagement and comprehension. Challenges included disparities in teacher understanding and low student learning autonomy. Research implications – The findings provide strategic guidance for schools to develop adaptive and participatory implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through reflective training, technology integration, and learning approaches that are responsive to student needs.

Abstract

Quality Of School Services basically an quality with regard to activities serve the needs of students, so that all feel satisfied with the services provided by the school. study aims to 1) determine whether there is the effect of visionary leadership on quality of school services,. This research was conducted at SMPN One Roof 01 Nanggun, Bogor Regency. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire and interviews. The method of collecting questionnaire data was carried out on respondents by taking the sample using the Non Probability Sampling technique, using the saturated sampling method. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive influence between Visionary leadership on Quality Of School Services. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted

Abstract

Masa anak usia dini adalah masa keemasan anak atau yang sering disebut dengan golden age dimana pada masa ini pikiran anak mulai mengalami perkembangan yang cepat secara langsung pada saat anak dalam kandungan hingga usia dini yaitu dari usia 0-6 tahun. Oleh karena itu perkembangan pada masa awal ini akan menjadi penentu bagi perkembangan selanjutnya, keberhasilan dalam menjalankan tugas perkembangn pada suatu masa akan menentukan keberhasilan pada masa perkembangan berikutnya. Pendidikan anak usia dini (early child education/PAUD) ini sangatlah penting dilaksanakan sebagai dasar untuk pembentukan kepribadian manusia secara utuhdan keseluruhan, yaitu untuk pembentukan karakter, budi pekerti luhur, cerdas, ceria, terampil, dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa. Pendidikan anak usia dini tidak harus selalu mengeluarkan biaya mahal atau melalui suatu wadah tertentu, melainkan pendidikan anak usia dini dapat dimulai di rumah atau dalam pendidikan keluarga. Adapun jenis pendidikan paud terbagi menjadi dua yaitu paud formal dan non formal. Pada Pendidikan jalur formal merupakan Pendidikan terstruktur dan berjenjang yang terdiri dari Pendidikan dasar, Pendidikan menengah, dan Pendidikan tertinggi. Sedangkan Pendidikan pada jalur non forml yaitu suatu Pendidikan yang dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan berjenjang yang diselenggarakan untuk masyarakat yang membutuhkan layanan yang digunakan untuk penambah, pengganti dan pelengkap. Dalam penyelenggaraan paud ini pada jalur non formal ini mempunyai ciri antara lain meliputi kelompok bermain dan tempat penitipitan anak. Pada pelaksanaan kelompok bermain dalam setiap hari minimal 3 hari dalam setiap 1 minggu dalam estimasi minimal 3 jam perhari. Kelompok bermain atau play group merupakan Lembaga permainan-permainan edukatif bagi anak-anak dan orang tua hanya sebagai pengantar transpormasi semata.
