Judicial interpretation of the right to be free from discrimination is a central issue in the practice of judicial review of the constitutionality of legislation by the MKRI. This article tries to describe and systematize this practice and then to restate the legal principles as it is stated by the MKRI into its case law. This article finds that, as a matter of principle, the MKRI adopts two main tests i.e. strict scrutiny and rational basis test to determine whether a legislation is contrary to the principle   of non-discrimination

Gojek is an application commonly used in Indonesia, based on a survey by the Yayasan Lembaga Konsumen Indonesia (YLKI). Since the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, various adaptations to new habits called the New Normal have been implemented, causing a change in the lifestyle of Gojek drivers. Another habit studied was bad habit, which according to the American Psychological Association is common in millennials and causes them to experience stress. The purpose of this study was to analyse whether bad habits and the New Normal habit affect Gojek drivers’ performance in Salatiga. The respondents in this study were 160 Gojek drivers. Respondents' answers regarding bad habits are high, especially on the habit of drivers who sit for too long, in their routine of riding motorcycles. Based on the answers, the habits of the new normal era were also high, especially in the understanding of drivers in using masks correctly. This research was conducted using a quantitative causality method. The hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis shows that bad habits and new normal habits simultaneously affect drivers’ performance. On other hand, the habits of the new normal habit positively affect drivers’ performance, while bad habits have no effect on the performance of Gojek drivers in Salatiga even though it was high.

This paper aims to explore art therapy methods that are able to become one of the complementary media to improve the communication skills of children with autism; explain concretely the contribution of art flexibility as a complementary media in communication therapy for autistic children; and explain the integration of the principles of therapy. These three topics will be explored using a number of theories about art therapy that have developed, as a research beginning on the development of methods of art therapy and art education for autistic children. The approach in this study uses the method of content analysis of the phenomenon of art therapy, which is implemented as a perspective to see the phenomenon of art education for autism in Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2019. This study begins with a study of the development and patterns of art therapy which has been going on in Indonesia. Afterwards, the current foothold of art therapy will be known, and able to explain the reasons related to the development of art therapy in Indonesia. The results showed that the models of art therapy and art education for autistic children in Indonesia did not include the development of art therapy, learning methods through play, and did not understand the empathy space as a learning space for autistic children. Art exploration has good potential to be developed as a method of therapy and education for autistic children. That is because, art has the flexibility and natural nature of children, namely playing and making a sense of comfort, so that autistic children feel in one frequency with the teacher so that the educational and therapeutic process runs smoothly and optimally. The emergence of the concept of 3B (being, becoming, and belonging) in the space of empathy, increasingly claims that art cannot be separated in the world of learning in autistic children.

Majority of medical students choose clinical specialties as their career choice, compared to other medical fields. This study aimed to finding an effective model of career exploration behaviour in medical students to construct effective career interventions. This study obtained 1030 students of medical faculties in Indonesia. All data used an online survey questionnaire that was collected starting from October 12th-25th 2015. Data analysis used Partial Least Square-Path Modelling using R statistical software to create a model in order to find correlation and pathway among each variable. The result showed both direct and indirect correlation towards the variables studied. Personal accomplishment had a stronger influence on self-efficacy (β=0.317, p<0.001). This study concluded that verbal persuasion and self-efficacy correlate directly to career exploration. All variables are related to career exploration in medical students. Educators and policymakers are able to construct intervention in this area to encourage medical students to start exploring career options early.

Inadaquate parental monitoring is widely recognized as a risk factor for the development of child and adolescent conduct problems, including early premarital sexual behavior. Previous studies examining parental monitoring have largely effect to adolescents premarital sexual behavior. Parental monitoring is the most important and effective factor to prevent early adolescents sexual activity. This paper examines the role of perceived parental monitoring in adolescent’s premarital sexual behavior (study on Adolescent’s Junior High School in Pontianak). A cross-sectional study and proportionated random sampling was conducted among 402 adolescents of junior high school at six subdistricts in Pontianak. SEM analyses was conducted using SMART-PLS. Result of path analysis revealed that parental knowledge (r = 0.389) and parental-adolescence relationship (r = 0.334) had a strong influence on parental monitoring. Then, parental monitoring had a significant indirect relationship with adolescent premarital sexual behavior through attitudes about premarital sexual (path coefficient = 0.063), and attitudes about premarital sexual and intention to sexual behaviour (path coefficient = 0.03). Parental monitoring can act as protective factor in early adolescent premarital sexual behavior. Therefore, risk reduction interventions with adolescents should include their parents to learn about monitoring skill and develop skill that will allow them to buffer negative influences.

Self-directed learning (SDL) is essential in medical education. The rapid development of medical science and the expansion of health problems need a physician who can meet that challenges. A physician must have lifelong learning ability. SDL is one of the important requirements for lifelong learning ability. In SDL, learners are the controller of learning and learners have the freedom to learn according to their needs. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the role of the teacher in the SDL process, particularly in medical education. This study used a qualitative exploratory design. Twelve teachers and 23 medical students were selected by purposive sampling. There were seven themes that emerged from the analysis. The role of teacher in the SDL process includes: (1) Competent; (2) Concern; (3) Creative; (4) Facilitator; (5) Motivator; (6) Partners; and (7) Role Model.
