Abstract

The Kuantan Singingi community has wisdom in maintaining the environment such as forests, rivers, lakes and slope hills. One of them is the Kuantan Singingi Sentajo Forest that is one of the protected forests. This research was carried out for one month in May 2018 in Sentajo Protection Forest, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method that used in this study was a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses interviews and observations. The results showed that Sentajo Protection Forest is a type of tropical rain forest with high biodiversity. The values and norms of the Kenegerian Sentajo Protected Forest can be seen from ecological, social and economic values. The ecological values are still preserved by flora and fauna, maintaining the preservation of the Kenegerian Sentajo Protection Forest has a strong rooted value applies to the understanding of the existence of the founding fathers of Kampung. Sentajo in protection Forest in Sentajo. Social values can be seen from the preservation of the track runway that is a cultural tradition that has been going on from the colonial era to the present by utilizing wood from protected forests and the community working together to make traditional houses under the leadership of Datuk Penghulu 4 (four) tribes. The economic value contained in protected forests is closely related to the daily needs of communities around protected forests such as community ponds and rice fields whose water comes from protected forests. The role of institutions carried out in the management of Sentajo Protection Forest resources such as taking of decisions regarding resource management forest power. Give permission regarding the use of forest resources. Establishment of UPT KPHL offices, information boards and prohibition boards. Community empowerment and safeguarding forest areas are carried out directly or indirectly.

Abstract

The Purpose of this study was to analyze the role of traditional leaders, the participation, of tribal members and abstacles in preserving the heritage building of the Godang House and analyze the educational values of the heritage building of the Godang House. Building local wisdom with traditional cultural values cannot be separated from people’s lives.This research was conducted in Gunung Village, in Toar Village, and Koto Gunung Village located in Gunung Toar District. This type of research is qualitative research. The object of research is the Godang House Building. Data collecion techniques in this study were observation and interviews. Sample in this study were taken randomly from all Godang House in Kenegrian Indigenous Gungung Toar. The result of this study are the Histroy of the Godang House in Kenegerian Adat Gunung Toar was customary leaders are the leaders of their respective tribes, the role of traditional leaders in preserving the Godang House is as a motivator, giving advice and as a rule model. While the role of tribal members in proserving the Godang House is the giving of chants and the pareyer of the Godang House. Constraints that the occur in the Godang House which has long been consumsed by time of weathering will occur in some parts of the Godang House, it is difficult to the find carpentry experts in the Godang House and the land status in teh Godang House is not yet to have a certificate.The educational values of the Godang House are still taking place in Kengerian Indigenous Gunung Toar such as the environment, togetherness value, and protection of ethnic marriage.

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to analyze the study problems subjected to junior highschool students. In particular, the students who being object of this research are student in accelerationclass program and student in excellent class program. This research is based on descriptive analysis andquestionnaire is used as tools with respect to data gathering purpose. Total sample is 123 students andcollected by using census technique. The collected data are then analyzed according to descriptiveanalysis scheme in form of percentage. Result shows that study problem encountered by both student inacceleration and excellent class are study behavior and habits. Elaboration of these problems forstudents in acceleration class leads to three main causes i.e. hard to maintain focus, lack of durabilityduring working on tasks and study. While for students in excellent class program are lacks of responseduring teaching process, incomplete of notes, and hard to understand the text book. Overall resultshows that students in excellent class program are encounter higher percentage of study problemscompare to students in acceleration class program. It can be concluded that students in excellent classprogram having more study problem compare to the studens in acceleration class program.

Abstract

Abstract: Young generation have to know and understand their own characters. However, in fact, many of them have not known what kind of characters that they have. Characters must be built to be a human that has characteristics. Hence, the material services need to be develop to be a material for students’ character building that expected to be used by guidance and counseling teachers to be taught to the students. This study aims at (1) to arrange the material for students’ character building based on the clarity, the systematic, the supporting pictures, the instruments, the novelty of material, and the supporting of game and video, (2) to know the result of the students’ character building quality. The material is arranged by using research and development method, then it is experimented to the students with the time allocated is 4 lesson hours (4x40’). This material is validated by first and second guidance lectures, guidance and counseling teacher, 38 students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2, Pekanbaru. The material consists of the definition and the method of character building. The result of the material development shows that the quality of the material is in the “Very Good” category with the score 4,26 for the whole aspects of assessment.Keywords: Guidance and Counseling, Character Building, Senior High School

Abstract

Abstract: One of the most common forms of violence in the community is domestic violence (KDRT). Such actions may occur by parents to their children, husbands, wives or otherwise. but not many know that violence against children can have a negative impact on the lives of children, both physically and psychologically. This study aims to find out the description of the violence received by the students who are victims of domestic violence (KDRT) and to know the psychological condition of the students who are victims of domestic violence (KDRT). Respondents in this study were people who had experienced domestic violence (KDRT), which amounted to 58 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using descriptive method. The results showed that violence received by victims of domestic violence (KDRT) is in the low category of 77.58%. Violence received in the form of physical violence, psychological, sexual, and neglect of household. The psychological condition of students who are victims of violence is in the medium category that is equal to 62.06%. The psychological conditions are emotions: anger, pleasure, sadness, and fear. The conclusions of this study are violence received by victims of violence are in the low category with the accepted forms of violence are physical, psychological, sexual, and neglect of the household and the psychological condition of students who are victims of violence are in the medium category, the psychological condition is angry emotion (revenge, angry, hateful), happy, sad (despair, frustrated), and fear (anxiety, anxiety). This research should benefit everyone, especially parents and school.Keyword: Psychological Condition, Victims of Violence

Abstract

Abstract : Bullying among students shows an increasingly alarming rate every year. The forms of bullying that occur among students include physical, verbal, and psychological aspects. This study aims to determine the description of the form of bullying received by students and to know the description of the psychological condition of students bullying victims. Population in this research is all student of victim bullying class VIII which amounted to 133 students with sampling using total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires with Likert scale and analyzed by quantitative method. The results of this study indicate that the victim of bullying is in a mild stage with the form of bullying received include bullying verbal, psychological and physical. The psychological condition of the victims of bullying is at an unfavorable level. When seen in his emotions, the form of emotion upset dominates rather than the other forms of emotion. Whereas when viewed on self-esteem, students of bullying victims have low self-esteem on the aspect of many people liked, the students do anything to be liked by friends. It is expected that this research can be useful and useful for everyone, especially for BK teachers and the school.Keywords : Victims of Bullying, Psychological Condition

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the description of the characteristics of street childrens and to know the self-adjustment of street childrens in Arifin Ahmad street, Pekanbaru. This research type is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data source in this study was the street childrens who were taken as respondents as many as 6 childrens of which 6 childrens have different activity in the day on the street. Data collected using the instruments include observation and structured interviews. The research results obtained by the characteristics of street childrens in the intersection red light Arifin Ahmad, aged 8-18 years, dominated the child-sex male and 1 female child, the majority of street childrens in the region do not attend school, work for 4-6 hours in a day, they still have a close relationship with parents so that communication with parents is still awake, most childrens still have parents, and live together. Street childrens are seen already adjusting to his environment, both physically and socially. The child looks able to adapt with the weather, have a good relationship with friends, neighbors, as well as showing a caring attitude to friends and also to other people who need help, as well as childrens also have been able to find a way in resolving the problem.Key Words: Self-adjustment, The Street Childrens.

Abstract

Abstrak: Social relations are the core of the realization of social life because without social relations, individuals will not be able to run their lives well. This study aims to describe the social relations of students before and after being given Teachers 'Values through group guidance, to determine differences in social relations before and after being treated with Teachers' Point Values through group guidance and to determine the influence of Teachers Point Values through group guidance to improve student social relations. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental method, the research design used is the Pre-Experimental approach with one group pre-test and the post test subject in this study were 7 students taken by purposive sampling technique with the results of the questionnaire. The results showed that: (1) the social relations of students before being given Teachers 'Point Values through group guidance were mostly in the low category and after being given Teachers' Point Values through group guidance most of them were in the high and medium categories. (2) There are significant differences in the level of student social relations before and after being given Teacher's Value through group guidance. (3) There is a significant effect of students 'social relations before and after being given Teachers' Point Values through group guidance. Key Words: Tunjuk Ajar, Social Relations, Group Guidance

Abstract:The implementation of Guidance and Counseling program is a very important program in an educational institution. But in reality, in the implementation of the program there are usually obstracles such as lack of time allocation for BK and facilities and infrastructure that are inadequate for the implementation of the program. The purpose of this research is to find out what kind of type and content of the program BK and how the implementation of the program BK at SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in 2017. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method to describe how implementation of program BK in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. Subject in this research is one BK teacher. From the results of research indicate that the type of program BK in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru is a monthly program, semester program and annual program. The content of the program are in the form of ten types of services applied to the four areas of guidance namely personal guidance, social counseling, tutoring learning and career guidance counseling. The implementation of program BK in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru has been implemented in accordance with the problems faced by student, but there are still some programs that have not been done well because of obstacles in the implementation. So, basically the implementation of the program in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru already implemented, but still not maximal because there is still a barrier that is the lack of time allocation and facilities and infrastructure are not adequate.Key Word: Guidance and Counseling Program, Implementation

Abstract

Abtract: The lack of a positive self concept of students and limited material on the concept of self encourage researchers to conduct research on the development of the self concept of material preparation of students of class X3 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. Research objectives 1). Composed material concept of self that is suitable for high school students in terms of clarity, aspects of the systematics, image support, new material, and completeness of the materials. 2) Knowing the quality of the material produced. using the method of research and development. Which acts as a validator is a supervising professor, lecturer, one of two supervising lecturers BK FKIP UR, teacher mentors, 6 friends of the associate PL-BKS, and 36 students of class X3 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The material self concept consists of 4 sub chapter, which 1).Understanding of the self-concept, 2). The types of self-concept. 3). Factors that influence self concept. 4). How to build and improve self concept. Quality of the material concept of self produced based on this aspect of the matter is the obvious clarity with X = 4,19 and the percentage 83,8%. Aspects of the systematics of material is systematically with X = 3.95 and percentage 79%. Aspects of image support is good with X = 3.78 and the percentage 75,6%. This aspect of the matter is the new material with X = 4, 10 and percentage of 82%. Aspects of the completeness of the material is very complete with X = 4.30 and percentage of 86%. And of the overall aspect of the matter is the good quality with X = 4.06 and percentage of 81,28%.Key words: Material of self concept
