Abstract

Sebagai salah satu bentuk degradasi lingkungan di Desa Tuva daerah penyangga Kawasan konservasi Taman Nasional Lore Lindu adalah degradasi sumberdaya lahan yang secara langsung atau tidak langsung berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas lahan berupa penurunan hasil pertanian, peningkatan bencana banjir dan tanah longsor. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kapasitas dan kapabilitas masyarakat dalam perencanaan konservasi lahan dalam rangka peningkatan ekonomi Masyarakat dan perbaikan kualitas lingkungan. Untuk mencapai tujuan dan target khusus tersebut, maka digunakan metode pendidikan dan pelatihan yang bersifat educational and participatory approach dengan kegiatan bimbingan teknis, penyuluhan, pelatihan, serta aplikasi demplot. Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the quality of the system, work facilities, work effectiveness and the quality of public services at the Regional Revenue Agency  of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. As well as to determine and analyze the influence of the quality of the system and work facilities through work effectiveness on the quality of public services at the Regional Revenue Agency of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This study was conducted at the Regional Revenue Agency of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. With a population of 118,264 taxpayers who receive services, while the sample size in this study uses the Slovin theory with a margin of error of 10% so that a sample of 100 is obtained. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and uses Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the quality of the system and work facilities have an influence on the quality of service, both directly and indirectly through employee work effectiveness. This shows that the better the quality of the system and work facilities used in carrying out tasks, the more effective the performance that can be achieved by employees in providing excellent service to the community.

Abstract

The development of education is inseparable from competition between schools to produce the best graduates. MAN Kaur is also striving to improve the quality of education by providing various facilities for students, especially libraries. This study aims to design and develop a web-based library information system at MAN Kaur. This system was developed to address issues in library management that are still done manually, such as recording loans, returns, and managing member data, which are prone to errors and data loss. The system development uses Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The main features built into the system include book data management, member data, borrowing and return transactions, as well as the automatic and structured generation of reports. Based on the implementation results, this information system is effective in improving operational efficiency and data management accuracy. Additionally, the system supports enhanced library service quality and serves as an appropriate solution for meeting digitalization needs within the school environment, particularly for MAN Kaur.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in human resource development. There is community participation that is needed in order to encourage acceleration in order to achieve maximum and sustainable results. Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that throughout their history have always been close and connected to society. This is a social fact at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, East Kutai. Islamic boarding school that was born in the culture and traditions of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), and grew amidst a heterogeneous urban-industrial society. It is worthy of being studied in various actual dimensions related to the various opportunities and challenges in the process of implementing a form of community-based education or Community-Based Education (CBE) at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, East Kutai. This research uses a case study method, through in-depth interviews and field observations. So it is hoped that we can understand the phenomena that exist in the implementation and development of the Community-Based Education (CBE) model at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, East Kutai. In-depth data mining involved Islamic boarding school leaders, teachers, students and the community/collaboration partners. Observations on various activities and facility sites in Islamic boarding schools are needed to obtain confirmatory validity of the various data needed. Research findings show that CBE can improve the quality of Islamic boarding school education. Active participation in various socio-religious dimensions, a strong collaborative network for guidance and support for facilities, as well as the integration of religious competence with social-religious skills are indications of improving quality. Supporting factors for implementing CBE include visionary leadership from kiai, supportive social and geographical construction, as well as community trust and acceptance. However, there are obstacles in the form of competition between Islamic boarding schools in relatively narrow areas and Islamic boarding school identities that limit segmentation. Overall, the implementation of CBE shows great potential in improving the quality of education and community empowerment at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, East Kutai.

Abstract

Tradisi Nyelametang Gumi di Desa Kebon Ayu, Kecamatan Gerung, Kabupaten Lombok Barat merupakan bentuk budaya yang masih terjaga hingga saat ini. Tradisi Nyelametang Gumi merupakan ungkapan rasa syukur masyarakat kepada Tuhan dan alam atas panen yang melimpah, serta permohonan keselamatan untuk musim tanam berikutnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana komunikasi budaya terjadi dalam tradisi gumi nyelametang dan nilai-nilai moral apa saja yang terkandung di dalamnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui wawancara, observasi, dan tinjauan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Nyelametang Gumi mencerminkan bentuk komunikasi budaya yang kaya akan simbolisme, nilai-nilai spiritual, sosial, dan ekologis. Melalui simbol-simbol dan praktik ritual ini, masyarakat mengkomunikasikan nilai-nilai moral seperti rasa syukur, harmoni dengan alam, solidaritas sosial, penghormatan kepada leluhur, dan pelestarian budaya. Selain sebagai bentuk spiritualitas, tradisi Nyelametang Gumi juga merupakan sarana komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal. Tradisi ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya dan komunikasi membentuk dan saling menguatkan dalam menjaga keberlanjutan kehidupan masyarakat

Abstract

A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a distributed wireless system that employs sensor nodes to perform various tasks, including sensing, monitoring, data transmission, and delivering information to users via internet communication. Resource availability in WSNs is a critical factor influencing data delivery performance. One of the main challenges is the rapid depletion of resources, particularly batteries, which play a pivotal role in the system’s operational sustainability. This study evaluates the impact of battery adaptation through four testing scenarios. The results show that implementing battery adaptation significantly extends system lifespan compared to scenarios without adaptation. In the scenario without both a classification algorithm and adaptation, the system lasts approximately 270 minutes. When battery adaptation is applied without a classification algorithm, the lifespan increases to 330 minutes and 30 seconds. In contrast, the scenario using a classification algorithm without adaptation yields a lifespan of about 185 minutes, while combining the classification algorithm with adaptation extends it to approximately 252 minutes. The findings demonstrate that battery adaptation enhances the longevity and resource efficiency of WSN systems. However, the use of a classification algorithm tends to reduce operational time compared to scenarios that do not employ such algorithms.

Abstract

Agrarian disputes in Indonesia are highly complex, covering a range of issues such as customary and communal land rights, certificate disputes, conflicts between communities and corporations, and state land acquisition. These challenges are compounded by the inability of general courts to effectively address them due to overlapping jurisdictions, inadequate coordination, and a lack of technical expertise. Consequently, the resolution of land disputes is often delayed, leading to diminished public trust in the judicial system. Comparative studies from Brazil and New Zealand have shown that specialized land courts can enhance efficiency, consistency, and the protection of indigenous rights by focusing on specific mandates, employing expert knowledge, and utilizing mediation mechanisms. This research highlights the urgent need for the establishment of a Land Court in Indonesia, presenting it as a critical institutional reform that would ensure legal certainty, provide substantive justice, and improve access to justice. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative approach, which combines doctrinal, comparative, and empirical analyses. The proposed Land Court, staffed with specialized judges, land experts, and supported by strong mediation procedures, is designed to offer quicker, fairer, and more socially legitimate outcomes. This approach is expected to strengthen public confidence in Indonesia’s land governance system, ultimately improving the overall effectiveness of land dispute resolution.

Abstract

The event product marketing strategy is one of the marketing strategies implemented through organizing events that aim to promote brands, products, or services. By knowing the marketing strategy, it is hoped that the marketing activities carried out can achieve goals effectively and efficiently. Companies must know the stages of implementing marketing strategies, starting from external and internal factors, to identify factors that become opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses. The purpose of this study is to examine how Eventa Organizer implemented the 4P marketing mix strategy. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation, and interviews. In this study, the objects of research were two, namely the director and employees of the marketing division of the event organizer. The results of this study show that the 4P marketing mix strategy used by Eventa Organizer is good. In the implementation of the marketing mix strategy, Eventa Organizer has had stable sales since the company was initiated so the products produced by Eventa Organizer make successful events, where the objectives of the event are achieved and the participants or guests are satisfied with the experience they get.

Abstract

Tahfidz Al-Qur'an education in Indonesia is rapidly growing, yet it often overlooks the internalization of values in favor of memorization quantity. This study aims to analyze the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an curriculum development model at Ma’had Al-Ulya from an axiological perspective to uncover its fundamental underlying values. Using a descriptive-exploratory qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the applied curriculum model is an action research model, initiated as a solution to the decline in student interest. Axiological analysis identifies dominant values such as pragmatism, competition, balance, and adaptability. A significant tension was found between the extrinsic motivation driven by competition and the low intrinsic motivation (love for the Qur'an) which acts as an inhibiting factor. This study concludes that while effective, the model can be enhanced by strengthening intrinsic values like mahabbah (love) and ta'awun (mutual help) to create a more holistic Tahfidz education

Abstract

Penguasaan kosakata berpengaruh terhadap tingkat keterampilan berbicara terutama di sekolah menengah pertama. tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penguasaan kosakata dengan terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas VII SMP di Kabupaten Sinjai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ex-post facto yang dirancang untuk menerangkan adanya hubungan sebab akibat, peneliti dalam hal ini akan menelusuri hubungan sebab akibat (kausal) dan menguji yang telah dirumuskan sebelumnya antara: penguasaan kosakata, kalimat efektif terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka tahap – tahap yang dilakukan sebagai berikut. (1) Analisis karakteristik siswa meliputi sikap, bakat dan motivasi belajar bahasa indonesia, (2) Menyusun instrumen kosakata dan kalimat efektif (3) Evaluasi meliputih evaluasi pakar terkait instrumen yang telah disusun, (4) Revisi instrumen, (5) Implementasi instrumen (6) Anlisis data untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang pengaruh perbendaharaan kosakata dan kalimat efektif terhadap keterampilan berbicara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan penguasaan kosakata dan kalimat efektif terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada siswa. Siswa yang memiliki perbendaharaan kosaka yang baik dan pemahaman kalimat efektif terbukti trampil dalam berbicara. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP sehingga strategi pembelajaran harus kembangkan terutama untuk kajian selanjutnya.
