Abstract

The study was conducted with the aim of: 1. To determine the maintenance conditions and effectiveness of the Husky engine at PT. XY at present.2. To find out the effectiveness level of Husky machines at PT. XY.3. To find out the efficiency before and after the husky engine repair at PT. XY. The method used is Overall Equipment Effectiveness. After conducting research, an overall equipment effectiveness score of 90.95% is obtained. This result has exceeded the world-class standard of 85% but has not reached the company standard of 97%. It is known that the lowest value that causes this low OEE value is a performance rate of 92.8%. What causes the low-performance rate consists of machine, human, environmental, method and material factors. Human and machine factors are the most dominant factors. To improve the performance rate, improvements were made to the machine's start-up and shut-down training to the operator as well as the machine's setting parameters, the application of 5S and GMP audits and the replacement of engine spare parts according to the schedule in the manual book. The results obtained after the improvement showed an increase in performance rate to 102.02%, these results were obtained by increasing the engine cycle time from 9 seconds to 7.5 seconds.

Abstract

Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) penting untuk di perhatikan oleh perusahaan untuk manajemen yang baik. Analisis risiko keselamatan kerja untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko keselamatan kerja yang ada, salah satunya melalui metode HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control). UKM Sumber Rezeki merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi tahu yang mana tidak akan terlepas dari risiko timbulnya kecelakaan akibat kerja. Analisis risiko di laksanakan pada area produksi yang memeiliki 8 jenis pekerjaan dan responden penelitian 8 karyawan. Pengumpulan data di lakukan dengan penelusuran data sekunder, observasi, wawancara kepala perusahaan dan tenaga kerja di area produksi. Pada hasil penelitian di dapatkan 20 jenis sumber bahaya dan 4 sumber bahaya level risiko yang tinggi yaitu tungku UAP manual, area ada tegangan listrik dan berair. Pengendalian bahaya yang dapat di lakukan adalah dengan Engineering Control, Administrative Control, Alat pelindung diri, Dari risiko keselamatan yang telah diidentifikasikan, risiko keselamatan kerja yang terdapat pada proses kerja di proses produksi berdasarkan jenis bahaya keselamatan ditemukan tiga jenis bahaya diantaranya Bahaya Fisik, Mekanik dan Listrik.

Abstract

Raw materials are the main factor in the company to support the smooth production process, both in large companies and small companies. The problem of determining the amount of demand is an important issue in the company, because inventory has a direct effect on company profits. Mistakes in determining the amount of investment (embedded capital) in inventory will determine the company's profit. The purpose of this study is to find out the number of economical order sizes, reduce storage costs, and know when to make an order. This research is focused on the raw material of button mushrooms produced by PT. XYZ.To predict the number of productions that must be produced in the upcoming period using the moving average and single exponential smoothing method, the data in the previous period. The moving average method uses a moving average of 2,3,4,5 and 6. While a single exponential smoothing α = 0.1 - 0.9. The forecasting method used is single exponential smoothing with α = 0.8 resulting in a small MAD of 5,381. The result of controlling raw material inventory, the smallest total annual inventory cost is chosen. From here the EOQ model of raw material supply control system is a good raw material inventory control system because it has a total inventory cost of Rp. 8,809,552.29 smaller with a frequency of ordering 9 times when compared to the previous inventory control system of Rp. 12,847,932.69 used by the company. By using the EOQ model, companies can make savings of 31.44%.

Abstract

The problem faced by the company is the lack of product quality control that is used to reduce the number of defective products during the production process. Six sigma is a statistical-based quality improvement method, where the principle of this method is continuous improvement using statistical tools and problem solving tools. In this study, researchers applied the Six Sigma method which can be considered by the company as a product quality control method. In the measure stage through the calculation of the average product mismatch, it is known that the products that experience the largest defect rate of the company are black dirty, with an average value of 0.0285 and a sigma value of 3.2. In the next stage, the analyze phase through calculations using pareto diagrams, it is known that the dominant type of product defect is black dirty (65%) and the rest is dirty die head (2%) anamdel mouth (1%) bottom folded (1%). At the same stage through calculations using cause and effect diagrams, it is known that the factors that sequentially cause the product defects are 5 factors, namely human, material, method, machine and environment. The proposed improvements made by researchers into consideration in making improvements that can be useful to reduce the number of defective products or reject on gallon products.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises, Tempe Pacarkeling is one of the centers for Small and Medium Enterprises in Pasuruan. This Small and Medium Enterprise Center is located in Pacarkeling-Kejayan-Pasuruan Village. One of the UKM that was used as the research object was the Tempe UKM owned by Mr. Muizzi. In the production process, there is still less attention to environmental cleanliness. So it requires an assessment of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as an assessment of the environment and working conditions. In addition, this study aims to evaluate the level of application of GMP. Based on the research conducted, the results of the evaluation of the application of GMP as a whole, the total value of GMP application of all respondents obtained 8,145 points or an average of 247 points, while the percentage of the deviation value is 46% and the conformity value is 54% in the aspects of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) so that it has not meet the GMP criteria. Evaluation obtained from processing GMP data, the level of seriousness in implementing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in this UKM is 247 points, which means that it is at the classification level ((nx2) +1) to (nx3), which is very good.

Abstract

PT HAI merupakan industri manufaktur ransum pakan ternak. Tahap awal dalam proses produksi pakan ternak diawali dengan proses breeding, namun memiliki cycle time yang lama karena beban kerja yang tidak merata di stasiun kerja, serta penempatan stasiun kerja yang berjauhan menyebabkan idle time. Peringkat Positional Weight merupakan salah satu metode line balancing dengan cara mengurutkan bobot posisi pada setiap stasiun kerja, untuk meminimalkan delay balancing dan stasiun kerja. Activity Relationship Chart adalah teknik sederhana dalam merencanakan tata letak fasilitas berdasarkan derajat hubungan aktivitas. Perhitungan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil: cycle time = 129 menit, stasiun kerja = 2, efisiensi = 18%, balance delay = 3,6%, dan smoothing index = 370 menit.

Abstract

The marketing strategy of shoe products at PT. Bagoes Tjipta Karya was analyzed using the SWOT method with the IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) matrix approaches. This research aims to identify internal and external factors that affect the competitiveness of companies in the midst of increasingly fierce competition in the shoe industry. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed by giving weight and rating to each factor. The results of the study show that the company's main strength lies in its business-friendly working principles, a simple bureaucratic system, and competitive production prices. Meanwhile, the weaknesses include less than optimal digital promotion and low quality of human resources. Externally, opportunities such as potential markets and high industrial growth must be taken advantage of, while threats such as local competition and fluctuations in raw material prices need to be addressed. Based on the analysis, the company is in a stable growth strategy position, with strategic recommendations such as increasing production capacity, improving digital promotion, and strengthening the marketing network. These findings make a practical contribution to the development of adaptive marketing strategies for the local shoe industry.

Abstract

This study critically analyzes the formulation of criminal offenses related to fraud in the revised Penal Code (KUHP) within the context of contemporary technological advancements. Employing a normative legal research method, the investigation draws on relevant legal literature, legislation, and scholarly publications. The findings reveal inadequacies in the current legal provisions, particularly in addressing cyber fraud facilitated by information technology. The newly introduced Article 492 of the revised KUHP remains rooted in conventional fraud models, lacking the capacity to accommodate digital modus operandi and failing to encompass diverse identity theft techniques and system vulnerabilities. The absence of specific regulations pertaining to electronic transactions, computer networks, and digital systems further underscores the limitations. While the revised KUHP exhibits positive enhancements, urgent revisions are warranted to incorporate comprehensive elements, impose stricter penalties, and reinforce global cooperation in combating cybercrime. The overarching goal is to ensure that criminal provisions remain adaptive and responsive to the dynamic landscape of technology-driven offenses in the future. Highlights: The revised Penal Code inadequately addresses digital fraud, necessitating a comprehensive update to encompass evolving technological modus operandi. Existing legal provisions lack specificity concerning electronic transactions, computer networks, and digital systems, revealing a crucial gap in addressing contemporary cyber threats. Urgent revisions are imperative to fortify criminal statutes, impose stricter penalties, and enhance international collaboration, ensuring a responsive legal framework for combating future technology-based crimes. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jalannya roda perusahaan baik pada lingkungan internalmaupun ekstrernal, dalm hal ini dilakukan analisis POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) dan juganmenggunakan analisis SWOT, dan merumuskan alternatif dan strategi untuk pengembangan usaha khususnyamenitik beratkan pada aspek Sumber Daya Manusia pada perusahaan Novi Konveksi. Penelitian ini menggunakanpenelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian inimenunjukkan pengelolaan perusahaan yang terdiri atas Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling, data yangdi ambil terdiri atas empat aspek, yaitu keuangan, produksi, pemasaran dan SDM yang telah berjalan sesuai darijobdisknya dengan baik. Namun ada sedikit kenda yang terjadi dilapangan yaiyu permasalahan yang terjadi didalam perusahaan mengenai permasalahan SDM yaitu besarnya tingkat turnover karyawan perusahaan.Sementara untuk analisis lingkungan eksternal menggunakan Porter’s Five Forces, menunjukkan tingkatpersaingan yang tinggi, dan kekuatan penawaran pembeli dan pemasok yang cukup tinggi. Oleh karena itu strategiyang digunakan untuk pengembangan usaha adalah strategi diferensiasi.

Abstract

Abstract: Rabies, or canine madness, is one of the most frequent zoonotic diseases, mainly through the bite of a dog. The disease presumably had been in existence long before the coming of Europeans, as raising a dog and other rabid animals had been a strong tradition among indigenous people. Yet, it was only in the mid19th Century, with the establishment of colonial administration, that rabies began to be recorded, and then only at the end of the Century did the colonial government perceive it as a dangerous disease, especially in Java. This study seeks to investigate why rabies became a public health issue only later at the end of the 19th Century. What factors influenced the rise of this disease, how did local people perceive it, and what was the colonial government's response to this disease? This paper argues that rabies was an endemic disease before the colonial authorities acknowledged it and that it continued until the end of the colonial period, based on colonial publications and other pertinent sources, mainly newspapers. The limited records and belated development and introduction of medical science became contributing factors to the tardiness of government responses in resolving this endemic disease. Rabies remained a threatening public issue after Indonesia became independent. Abstrak: Rabies, atau penyakit anjing gila, merupakan salah satu penyakit zoonosis yang paling sering terjadi, terutama melalui gigitan anjing. Penyakit ini mungkin sudah ada jauh sebelum kedatangan bangsa Eropa, karena memelihara anjing dan hewan lain yang terkena rabies merupakan tradisi yang kuat di kalangan penduduk asli. Namun, baru pada pertengahan abad ke-19, dengan berdirinya pemerintahan kolonial, rabies mulai tercatat, dan baru pada akhir abad tersebut pemerintah kolonial menganggapnya sebagai penyakit berbahaya, terutama di Jawa. Penelitian ini berupaya menyelidiki mengapa rabies baru menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat pada akhir abad ke-19. Faktor-faktor apa yang memengaruhi munculnya penyakit ini, bagaimana masyarakat setempat melihatnya, dan apa tanggapan pemerintah kolonial terhadap penyakit ini? Tulisan ini berpendapat bahwa rabies merupakan penyakit endemik sebelum pemerintah kolonial mengakuinya dan penyakit ini terus berlanjut hingga akhir masa kolonial, berdasarkan publikasi kolonial dan sumber-sumber terkait lainnya, terutama surat kabar. Keterbatasan data dan keterlambatan pengembangan serta pengenalan ilmu kedokteran menjadi faktor yang menyebabkan lambatnya respons pemerintah dalam mengatasi penyakit endemik ini. Rabies tetap menjadi masalah publik yang mengancam setelah Indonesia merdeka.
