Abstract

Learning motivation is a factor that influences student achievement/students. The encouragement of motivational learning is a thing that needs to be raised in learning efforts at school. Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) the approach to increase learning motivation is an effort to assist students/students to be able to optimize and develop the potential possessed by students/students. This study aimed to see the effectiveness of group counseling with the REBT approach to increase students' motivation to study. The Literature Review Study Method was used to search for articles in electronic databases, namely Google Scholar, Research Gate, and PubMed/Medline. Analysis conducted by the authors of the 8 relevant articles was obtained. Support and efforts are needed from the school to carry out group counseling services with the REBT approach to students as an effort to increase student motivation in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkatan kecerdasan emosional pada remaja laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif komparatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 1060 siswa SMAN 1 Kampar Timur yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan sampel sebanyak 290 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket kecerdasan emosional yang disusun berdasarkan aspek kecerdasan emosional. Data diolah menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan teknik analisis komparatif T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) sebanyak 38.6% siswa memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang sedang; 2) sebanyak 37.2% remaja laki-laki memiliki kecerdasan emosional remaja laki-laki yang sedang; 3) sebanyak 35.9% remaja perempuan memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang sedang; 4) tidak terdapat perbedaan kecerdasan emosional pada remaja pertengahan ditinjau dari jenis kelamin  dengan hasil sig = 0.078 (sig. > 0.05).

Abstract

Group leaders in group counseling have duties and roles that will assist in managing group activities. Based on the Transactional Analysis approach that the group leader has a role as protector, excuse, and operation as well as concentration. The transactional analysis approach can train group participants to have good interpersonal communication skills. The purpose of this study is to reveal the roles of group leaders in building interpersonal communication among group members through a transactional analysis approach. This type of research is a literature review. This literature review uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The reference sources are in the form of articles, books, and information from technology and communication media that are appropriate to the topics discussed. Through this literature review, the process of analysis, synthesis, summarizing, and comparing literature can be carried out with one. The results of the study reveal that interpersonal communication can be trained through a transactional analysis approach. This interpersonal communication includes the ability to listen to what is conveyed by other people, the ability to understand other people, the ability to communicate thoughts and feelings appropriately and clearly to others, the ability to accept and give mutual support to others, and the ability to solve conflicts when with other people. . To master these interpersonal communication skills, group counselors carry out structural analysis, transactional analysis, game analysis, and script analysis in the group counseling process. The counselor's ability to analyze will assist clients in building effective interpersonal communication

Abstract

Some students cheated or attempted to cheat during the exam. Cheating behavior in students during exams is caused by both internal and external factors. Self-efficacy is one of the internal factors that contribute to cheating behavior. The objective of this research was to: 1) to describe the self-efficacy of students at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki. 2) to describe the behavior of students who cheat on exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki. 3) to describe the relationship between self-efficacy and cheating behavior of students in the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki during exams. The descriptive correlational research method was used in this research. In this research, 236 students were chosen using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. A self-efficacy questionnaire with 28 items was used, as was a cheating behavior questionnaire on students during exams with 37 items. Descriptive analysis techniques and pearson product moment correlation techniques were used to process the research data. The research findings revealed that: 1) students at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki had low overall self-efficacy at 37.55%. 2) the percentage of students who cheated during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki was 34.18%. 3) There was a negative correlation direction and a moderate degree of relationship between self-efficacy and cheating behavior in students during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki. A negative correlation had an inverse relationship, which means that the higher the self-efficacy, the lower the cheating behavior of students during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki, and vice versa, the lower the self-efficacy, the higher the cheating behavior of students during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki.

Abstract

Perkembangan yang berjalan secara optimal merupakan dambaan setiap remaja, tidak terkecuali siswa. Siswa yang menuju ke arah ketercapaian pendidikan bukan hanya berkaitan erat dengan kematangan intelektual dan emosi yang stabil, namun juga keterampilan sosial yang baik. Namun, banyak siswa yang kesulitan dalam mencapai keterampilan sosial yang baik, kesulitan dengan peran sosial, hubungan atau situasi baru yang ia jalani, mengalami kesulitan untuk self adaptation, apalagi di era yang terus berubah baik dari segi sosial secara langsung dan maya, sehingga timbul berbagai masalah sosial, salah satunya ialah social anxiety. Akibatnya, perkembangan individu dan ketercapaian pendidikan menjadi terhambat oleh social anxiety. Oleh karea itu, diperlukan layanan konseling CBT dalam proses bimbingan dan konseling yang bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi sosialanxiety, membangun interaksi sosial, interaksi pendidikan yang kondusif. Artikel ini bertujuan mengulas teori konseling kelompok CBT dalam mengatasi social anxiety siswa dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library reseach), sebagai acuan guru BK dalam pengentasan social anxiety dan mengoptimalkan potensi siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of a modeling strategy in conjunction with the SFBT method to improve marital ties. There is no clear statistical data regarding the number of couples who carry out long-distance marriages in Indonesia. This writing is done through a library approach. Learning occurs through imitation, not only by imitating but also by adding or removing behaviors, such as concentration while studying, and the SFBT modeling techniques and approaches are the result of this procedure. Sources of data in this study were obtained from books, national and international articles. The data that has been obtained will be analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The focus of this research includes: 1) How is the scope and purpose of SFBT counseling in an effort to overcome students who have difficulty concentrating on learning; 2) What is the procedure for handling SFBT counseling in dealing with students who have difficulty concentrating on studying; 3) How effective is the application of SFBT counseling in an effort to deal with students who have difficulty concentrating on learning. This study shows the results that SFBT counseling is the most common and effective counseling therapy and is often used to overcome the problem of students' lack of concentration in learning at the elementary, junior high, high school/vocational school, and university levels.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to accept Class IX students. The purpose of this study was to increase students' low self-acceptance compared to their classmates. This study used case study methods. which means that the actual conditions that are evident in a situation and the conditions for this study to collect data are by interviewing, In addition, the role of guidance and counseling teachers in handling problems of students with low self-acceptance is to spread AUM (Problem Revealing Tool) to find out the problems that students are experiencing as early as possible. Six of the students who have low self-acceptance have slowly shown the results of their blending in with their friends and starting to participate in activities held both at school and around the residence.

Abstract

Student learning concentration is a very important thing to pay attention to in the learning process to achieve effective and efficient learning so as to get good learning results. To increase the concentration of post-pandemic students, of course, they find things that are different from the ideal, namely in the phenomenon that students often pay less attention to the teacher when explaining during the learning process, disturb friends and often ask when to go home before the school's set time to go home. This must be overcome so that the concentration of student learning increases and returns to normal conditions in participating in learning. Modeling techniques with the CBT approach are used to increase student learning concentration which is low after the covi-19 pandemic. Learning takes place through a process of imitation, not only by imitation but by adding or eliminating behavior, such as not concentrating while studying.

Abstract

Millennial generation is currently faced with rapid developments and advances in the field of technology and communication. The use of technology can be utilized for a lot of things, such as interacting in social media by sending messages or voice note, calling, listening to music, reading books through digital platform, reserving hotel, online, going online shopping in one time. Social media provides many experiences from psychological perspective with the potential which can cause problematic behavior.  The use of social media in society can be termed as a double-edged sword causing negative effects such as, addiction or dependence on social media. Social media addiction is potentially becoming mental health problem for some users accessing excessively without any limit social media addiction is a habit or behavior that gives the feeling of pleasure when accessing the social media account for a long time and feels uncomfortable, angry, or bored if he cannot open the account. CBT is a therapy directing and modifying thoughts, feeling, and action by emphasizing the brain as analysis, decision making, questioning, action, and return decision that are directed at changing for better behavior. Th purpose of the study is to produce counseling module with cognitive behavior therapy setting group approach to reduce practical social media addiction and can be useful for counseling teachers at school. Through counseling with CBT approach, clients are trained to monitor their mindset and identify feelings and situations that can trigger their social media addiction behavior. This study uses   ADDIE model development (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), because ADDIE model employs general and systematic basis, the framework is gradual from one part to another. The counseling module for cognitive behavior therapy approach to reduce social media addiction in adolescents is appropriate both in content and appearance. It is ready to be used by counseling teachers at schools.

Abstract

Perilaku self injury pada siswa merupakan dampak bagi siswa yang mengalami hambatan dalam menanggapi stimulus negatif yang didapatkan dari lingkungan, dengan sistem coping yang buruk sehingga siswa melakukan perilaku menyakiti diri sendiri (self injury). Penelitian ini bertujuanyuntuk menganalisis efektivitas layanan konseling cognitive behaviour therapy dalam mereduksi perilaku self injury pada siswa sebelum diberikan intervensi dan setelah diberikan intervensi, penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen dengan metode single subjek research (SSR) dengan desain A-B dengan target behavior adalah menurunkan perilaku self injury pada siswa, perlakuan (intervensi) dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan konseling cognitive behaviour therapy dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif, subjek pada penelitian ini siswa tingkatan SMP kelas IX di Sumatera Barat yang melakukan perilaku self injury penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu sebelum intervensi (pre test), intervensi dan setelah intervensi (post test). Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengetahui bentuk dan mengukur perilaku self injury pada siswa menggunakan inventory self injury scale dengan 30 butir pernyataan dengan skala guttman, teknik analisis data yangedigunakan adalah statitika non-parametrik analisis data keseluruhan pada subjek sebelum diberikan intervensi berada pada angka 60,00% menurun menjadi 3,33%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan konseling individu pendekatan cognitiveubehaviour therapy dengan teknik restrukturisasi kogntitif efektiv dalam mereduksi perilaku self injury pada siswa.
