Abstract

This study aims to analyze the synergistic relationship between school culture and the formation of teacher professionalism at Muhammadiyah Junior High School in Medan. This study is based on the assumption that the success of teacher competency development is not only determined by individual factors, but also by a positive work environment and visionary leadership. The research method used a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design. The research population included all 355 teachers at Muhammadiyah Junior High School in Medan City, with a sample of 217 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used path analysis to examine the direct and indirect contributions between variables. The results showed that school culture had a significant effect on teacher professionalism, while principal leadership reinforced this effect by creating a participatory and collaborative work climate. The combination of the two resulted in a higher increase in teacher professionalism compared to the effect of each variable separately. These findings emphasize the importance of building an adaptive school culture and transformative leadership as a strategy for improving the quality of education in private schools based on values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan dosen Ilmu Pendidikan Islam dalam menyusun Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) berbasi Outcome Based Education (OBE) untuk implementasi kebijakan Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis dokumen terhadap RPS mata kuliah Ilmu Pendidikan Islam. Analisis ini berfokuskan pada tujuh komponen meliputi capaian pembelajaran, capaian pembeljaaran mata kuliah, sub capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah, indikator penilaian, teknik dan krtieria penilaian, bentuk dan metode pembelajaran serta materi ajar. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kemampuan dosen dalam menyusun RPS berbasis OBE berada pada kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 4,2 atau setara dengan 84%. Komponen capaian dan materi ajar memperoleh kategori baik, tetapi pada indikator penilaian masih berada dikategori cukup. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dosen telah memiliki pemahaman konseptual yang memadai terhadap perinsip OBE dan masih memiliki kendala dalam aspek oprasionalisasi indikator penilaian, ragam metode pembelajaran, serta integrasi teknologi pendidikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kompetensi pedagogik dosen melalui pelatihan penyusunan RPS berbasis OBE yang menekankan pada consrtukctive alignment, pengembangan higher order thinking skills dan asesmen autentik yang terukur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi penerapan prinsip Outcome-Based Education (OBE) dalam penyusunan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) pada dua mata kuliah pengembangan materi di Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam UIN Sumatera Utara: Pengembangan Materi Akidah Akhlak (MI–MTS–MA) dan Pengembangan Materi Fikih. Dengan pendekatan evaluatif dan metode analisis isi terhadap dokumen RPS (studi dokumen multisitus), analisis difokuskan pada konstruktif alignment antara CPMK, Sub-CPMK, aktivitas pembelajaran, serta instrumen asesmen dan rubrik penilaian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan OBE belum konsisten: RPS Akidah Akhlak relatif lebih selaras dibandingkan RPS Fikih, namun kedua dokumen masih mengandung kelemahan signifikan, terutama ketidaklengkapan dan ketidakjelasan Sub-CPMK yang berdampak pada aktivitas pembelajaran kurang terarah dan asesmen yang kurang valid. Rubrik penilaian umumnya bersifat global sehingga membatasi keterukuran capaian mahasiswa. Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa tantangan utama terletak pada kemampuan operasionalisasi prinsip OBE oleh dosen, bukan format RPS semata. Rekomendasi meliputi penguatan kapasitas dosen melalui pelatihan teknis, pendampingan penyusunan RPS, penyediaan template mapping, dan pengembangan rubrik asesmen autentik. Penelitian terbatas pada analisis dokumen dua RPS; studi lanjutan perlu menguji implementasi dan dampak perbaikan RPS di kelas.

Abstract

Abstrak - Kebijakan pengangkatan dosen sebagai Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) sering diposisikan sebagai solusi efisiensi dan profesionalisasi sumber daya manusia pendidikan tinggi. Namun, dari perspektif kebijakan publik dan manajemen pendidikan, kebijakan ini menyisakan persoalan fundamental terkait keadilan, keberlanjutan karier, dan tata kelola profesi dosen. Artikel ini bertujuan mengajukan argumen kritis mengenai ketegangan antara tuntutan profesionalisme dan lemahnya kepastian karier dosen PPPK melalui pendekatan literature review. Kajian dilakukan terhadap publikasi ilmiah dan dokumen kebijakan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan PPPK cenderung menempatkan profesionalisme sebagai kewajiban individual dosen tanpa diiringi desain kebijakan karier yang sistemik dan berkelanjutan. Ketidakjelasan jalur karier, keterbatasan akses terhadap jabatan akademik dan struktural berdampak terhadap mutu akreditasi program studi, serta perbedaan hak dengan dosen PNS menunjukkan adanya inkonsistensi antara tujuan profesionalisasi dan praktik kebijakan. Artikel ini berargumen bahwa tanpa reformulasi kebijakan yang berorientasi pada keadilan dan keberlanjutan, skema PPPK berpotensi melemahkan komitmen profesi dan mutu pendidikan tinggi dalam jangka panjang. Kata kunci : dosen PPPK, kebijakan publik, profesionalisme, kepastian karier, manajemen pendidikan.

Abstract

Changes in government policies in the field of education, including the continuous development of the national curriculum, require adjustments to the PAI curriculum to remain relevant and in line with national education policies. Each student has different needs in understanding and practicing the teachings of Islam. Each learner has different needs in understanding and practicing the teachings of Islam. Therefore, the PAI curriculum needs to be designed in such a way as to meet the needs and characteristics of diverse learners. This research uses the library research method, an approach to existing literature. There are several principles in the development of PAI curriculum, namely the principle of relevance, the principle of flexibility, the principle of continuity, the principle of efficiency, and the principle of effectiveness The curriculum can be changed and modified dynamically to keep up with the times without ignoring the noble values of society. This process of change and modification is referred to as curriculum development.

Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) menuntut sinkronisasi presisi antara perencanaan dan pencapaian pembelajaran, namun sering kali ditemukan ketidakselarasan pada aspek asesmen dan integrasi teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencapai tingkat kesesuaian Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) mata kuliah Ilmu Pendidikan Islam dengan prinsip OBE pada Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui teknik analisis dokumen terhadap tujuh elemen utama OBE, meliputi keselarasan CPL-CPMK, materi, metode, hingga sistem asesmen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPS Ilmu Pendidikan Islam memiliki tingkat keselarasan sebesar 82% yang berada pada kategori baik. Kekuatan utama terletak pada pemetaan CPL-CPMK yang koheren dan metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa, meskipun masih ditemukan kelemahan pada aspek asesmen autentik, penguatan ranah afektif-psikomotorik, serta integrasi sumber belajar digital. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa RPS secara umum telah memenuhi standar OBE namun memerlukan optimalisasi pada instrumen penilaian dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan perlunya rekonstruksi penilaian rubrik dan pengembangan media digital guna memastikan seluruh dimensi pencapaian pembelajaran, khususnya sikap spiritual dan keterampilan praktis, dapat diukur secara optimal dalam pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Improving quality in Islamic primary schools requires a headmaster who can strategically interpret internal and external conditions. This paper aims to map strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in educational quality management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Sidokerto Plupuh Sragen and to formulate feasible quality-improvement strategies centered on headmaster leadership. The method is a literature study using content analysis of recent scholarly works and relevant documents, synthesized through the SWOT framework and the TOWS matrix. The main findings indicate that internal strengths are generally driven by religious culture, organizational networks, and leadership potential to cultivate a quality culture, while weaknesses often relate to inconsistent internal quality assurance practices, uneven teacher competence development, and limited resources to sustain innovation. External opportunities include strengthening parent–community partnerships, expanding digital learning literacy, and improving program planning based on quality indicators; key threats stem from competition among similar institutions, rising service expectations, and the risk of innovation stagnation.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly impacted the Islamic education system, including the learning of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) in Islamic schools (madrasahs). This study aims to analyze the transformation of digital-based fiqh learning methods and their impact on improving students' religious literacy at the State Islamic Junior High School (MTsN) in Rokan Hilir. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included fiqh teachers, students, and the madrasah principal. The results show that the transformation of digital-based fiqh learning methods at MTsN Rokan Hilir was carried out through the integration of learning media such as Google Classroom, YouTube Edufiqih, Quizizz, and Canva for Education. The implementation of these media was able to shift students' learning paradigm from passive to active and encouraged an increased understanding of Islamic legal values. Students were more critical in exploring legal sources, discussing contemporary fiqh issues, and showed significant improvements in religious literacy. Teachers acted as facilitators and curators of digital content to ensure learning remained compliant with sharia principles. However, this study also identified several challenges, such as limited digital resources, gaps in internet access, and teachers' ability to master learning technology.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the analysis of the influence of entrepreneurship education and social environment on entrepreneurial intentions through entrepreneurial attitudes as an intervening variable. This study uses two endogenous variables, namely entrepreneurial attitudes and entrepreneurial intentions. As well as two exogenous variables, namely entrepreneurship education and social environment. The data collection used in this research is a questionnaire method. This study used a sample consisting of 144 respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muria Kudus University. This research uses the purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used (SEM) Structural Equation Modeling which is operated through the AMOS program. The results of the study show (1) entrepreneurship education has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial attitudes. (2) The social environment has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial attitudes. (3) Entrepreneurship education has no significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions. (4) The social environment has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions. (3) Pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha. (4) Lingkungan sosial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha. (5) Sikap berwirausaha berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha.

Abstract

The low student interest in learning Islamic Religious Education (PA) in private Islamic elementary schools underscores the urgent need for more effective and enjoyable learning strategies, considering that religious education plays a central role in shaping students' morals, spiritual character, and learning motivation. This quantitative study aims to analyze the effect of teacher strategies in implementing a fun learning model on increasing interest in learning PAI at Nursyamsiani Islamic Private Elementary School. The research design used a survey method with an explanatory approach and involved 120 students in grades IV-V, selected through a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression and a t-test. Islamic Religious Education (PA) at Nursyamsiani Islamic Private Elementary School is effective in creating a fun, meaningful, and student-centered learning experience. The strategies used include educational games, reflective activities, group collaboration, and creative media, which consistently increase student interest in learning across cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. A positive and supportive learning environment also strengthens students' motivation, self-confidence, and active engagement in learning Islamic Religious Education (PA). The conclusion of this study confirms that enjoyable learning is a relevant, empirically grounded pedagogical approach to strengthen students' learning motivation, while making theoretical contributions to the development of active learning models in Islamic education and offering practical implications for teachers in designing more creative, interactive, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for students.
