Abstract

Instilling an early awareness of the significance of having a healthy lifestyle is crucial, particularly at the primary school level.  When students learn about healthy lifestyles in an effective way, they are more likely to adopt these practices over time.  The purpose of this research is to examine how well second graders at SDN Sumur Welut 1/438 Surabaya grasp the concept of healthy lifestyles after participating in a learning program focused on this topic.  Two learning cycles combining observation, interviews, and recording were used in this research using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) technique.  The research included 29 second-graders from SDN Sumur Welut 1/438 in Surabaya.  The findings demonstrated that the pupils' comprehension of healthy lifestyles improved.  While in the Pre-Cycle level, most pupils remained in the "Less Proficient" group.  The percentage of students rated as "Very Proficient" rose sharply from 0.00% in Pre-Cycle to 39.02% in Cycle II after intervention in Cycles I and II.  When compared to more traditional approaches, learning about healthy lifestyles via interactive and practice-based activities significantly improves students' comprehension.  Students may have a better understanding of the significance of leading a healthy lifestyle via learning approaches that are based on real-life experiences.  So, it's crucial to keep creating programs like this one to help kids acquire good behaviors early on.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged various countries to adopt digital electoral systems, including Indonesia, which has started implementing e-voting at the village head election (Pilkades) level. However, the transition to digital elections still faces various structural and institutional challenges. This research aims to explore the roadmap and obstacles in the implementation of e-voting as part of the digital democracy architecture in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with three resource persons: The Chairman of the 2019 KPU, an election law academic, and a former regional head who had implemented e-voting in his region. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis, to identify the main patterns in the interviewees' narrative. The results show that e-voting has significant benefits to the efficiency and transparency of the electoral process at the local level, and is well received by the public. However, its expansion to the national level faces major challenges such as infrastructure readiness, digital divide, political elite resistance, and the absence of comprehensive regulations and oversight mechanisms. This research highlights the importance of a phased and hybrid approach, as well as the need to strengthen institutional credibility to build public trust in electoral technology. The significance of this research lies in its contribution to designing a contextualised model of electoral digital transition in developing countries. The practical benefits are as policy input for governments and electoral administrators in building a digital democracy roadmap that is inclusive, equitable and adaptive to local challenges.

Abstract

Abstract

Islamic law on the formation of a harmonious family in the marriage of an entrepreneur wife. The author will explain how the marriage of an entrepreneur wife couple, how Islamic law views their marriage and the formation of a harmonious family. This research is a qualitative field research. The author in obtaining data uses three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The author uses data analysis techniques in the form of objective interpretations. The results of this study indicate that the involvement of wives in entrepreneurship effectively contributes to improving the family economy and, in turn, strengthens household harmony. A wife who is intelligent, adaptive, proactive in the economy, and maintains a domestic role and good communication, has proven to be a strong foundation for a harmonious, loving, and compassionate family. In addition, this study also reviews the first two Islamic legal reviews regarding women working outside the home. The first view, which is stricter, limits the role of women to the domestic sector, considering working outside the home to be contrary to nature. While the second view, which is looser, allows women to work in fields that are in accordance with the nature of women, although they still consider staying at home to be more important. Overall, this analysis highlights the dynamics and evolution of understanding of women's roles in society. Despite traditional interpretations, modern social needs and realities have encouraged flexibility, while still considering religious values and limitations

Abstract

Sunni and Shi'a are among the major Islamic sects that exhibit significant differences in their understanding of the historical development of Hadith, particularly regarding its writing and compilation. The Sunni tradition holds that the formal documentation of Hadith began in the second century of the Hijri calendar. In contrast, Shi’a literature asserts that the writing of Hadith was already practiced during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This paper seeks to analyze the historiographical approach to Hadith in Rasul Ja’fariyan’s book Penulisan dan Penghimpunan Hadis (Writing and Compilation of Hadith). Accordingly, the study addresses three main research questions: First, what is the genealogy of Hadith historiography? Second, how is the historicity of Hadith portrayed in both Sunni and Shi’a perspectives within Ja’fariyan’s work? Third, how does Ja’fariyan assess the historical trajectory of Sunni Hadith writing from a Shi’a standpoint? This is a qualitative study that relies on Ja’fariyan’s aforementioned book as its primary source, supported by secondary materials such as scholarly books, journals, and relevant research on the historicity of Hadith in both traditions. The findings reveal three key points. First, the concept of historiography predates the 15th century CE, hence the necessity of documenting Hadith history, referred to as "Hadith historiography," which includes its origins, development, transmission, isnād–matn issues, and compilation periods. Second, Hadith writing became increasingly prominent among Shi’a scholars from the late 3rd century AH, while Sunnis still favored oral transmission. Third, Ja’fariyan critiques Sunni scholars for using Hadith prohibitions on writing to justify what he views as a delayed documentation tradition compared to the Shi’a.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability to read the Qur'an among children in Pengkol Hamlet, Ngrami Village, through guidance and the role of the Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). The background of this research is the low ability to read the Qur'an due to limited teaching methods, lack of intensive guidance, low motivation to learn, and inadequate TPQ facilities. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and Participatory Action Research (PAR) involving TPQ managers, teachers, and students. The results showed that children in Pengkol Hamlet generally have low Al-Qur'an reading skills, with many errors in the pronunciation of makharijul letters and incorrect application of reading laws. The presence of KDLK students in assisting teaching has made the learning process more conducive and allowed for creative activities such as competitions. Factors influencing the effectiveness of TPQ include teacher quality and competence, curriculum and learning methods, and family and community support. The main obstacle found is the large number of children (40 children) which is not proportional to the number of teachers. This community service is expected to create significant social change in improving sustainable Qur'an reading skills and strengthening religious values in the community.
