Abstract

The Central Agency on Statistics states that the divorce rate in Indonesia has increased significantly after the pandemic. Indonesia has the largest Muslim majority population in the world, obviously, being a role model for the Muslim World, including in terms of family management. Thus, it is important for Muslims to know the meaning of family mentioned in the Qur'an in order to create harmonization in the household to reduce the divorce percentage. This study uses a qualitative method which is library research with primary sources in the form of the al-Qur’an and classic linguistic books (kutub al-syu’ara>’), while secondary sources in the form of dictionaries (qa>mus) such as Lisa>n al-Araby, Asa>s al-Balaghah, and other supporting sources. This study uses the theory of al-wuju>h wa al-nazha>ir to examine the extent to which the differences in the meaning of the vocabulary in the Qur'an. The results of the study show that there are 6 words in the Qur'an that have family meanings, namely ahl, ‘asyi>rah, rah}thu, a>lu, qurba>, and ruknu, but in fact, these words have different meanings from the others. Thus, the research argues that there are no synonyms for words in the Qur'an are found that have the meaning of family, because no meaning is found that truly has the same meaning (family). Every word, whether ahl, ‘asyi>rah, rah}thu, a>lu, qurba>, and ruknu, has its own meaning in the composition of the verses of the Qur'an, this shows the miracles of the Qur’an from a linguistic point of view, that every word in a verse will never be replaced by another word.

Abstract

This study aims to identify some of the suspicions of the fourteenth century AH about the authenticity of the Qur’an, which come from the tongue of atheists and orientalists, and criticizing them through the books of contemporary Qur’anic studies. This study used the critical and analytical method, so the study will look at the value of these suspicions and the extent to which contemporary Quranic study books are concerned with these issues. This study, after analysis, installation and evaluation, concluded that the suspicions of the fourteenth century AH have no strong scientific value, but were invalidated by scientists with convincing and satisfactory arguments based on mental, transmission and historical evidence.

Abstract

Briket adalah bahan bakar padat berbasis karbon yang memiliki nilai kalor tinggi dan mampu mengalami pembakaran berkepanjangan. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengolahan limbah sekam padi dan pelepah kelapa sawit menjadi briket sebagai substitusi bahan bakar, dengan memanfaatkan tepung tapioka sebagai agen perekat melalui proses karbonisasi. Variabel yang diteliti mencakup perbandingan bahan baku, ukuran partikel, dan konsentrasi perekat. Prosedur meliputi karbonisasi sekam padi pada suhu 250∘C selama 1 jam serta pelepah kelapa sawit pada 300∘C selama 2 jam, dilanjutkan pencampuran, pemadatan briket, dan pengeringan pada 105∘C. Parameter analisis meliputi kadar air, kadar abu, zat volatil, karbon terikat, serta nilai kalor. Hasil mengungkap pengaruh signifikan rasio bahan baku, konsentrasi perekat, dan ukuran partikel terhadap karakteristik fisikokimia dan termal briket. Formulasi optimal dicapai pada komposisi arang sekam padi:pelepah kelapa sawit 25:75, ukuran partikel 80 mesh, dan perekat 8%, yang menghasilkan kadar air 4,4%, kadar abu 11%, zat menguap 14%, karbon terikat 70,6%, serta nilai kalor 4542,0 kal/g.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of educational game media by guessing word actions and composing sentences in improving students' vocabulary mastery and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation in grade III students of SDI Datok Sulaiman Palopo. The Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Kemmis and McTaggart model was implemented in two cycles with 21 students as subjects using the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results showed a significant increase in students' listening skills, marked by an increase in the average score from 50.52% in the pre-cycle to 67.61% in the first cycle, and reaching 84.42% in the second cycle. The percentage of learning completion increased from 23.80% to 80.95%. Supporting factors include interesting learning media, student involvement, and teacher strategies, while inhibiting factors include the lack of use of Arabic outside the classroom and low student self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ladder drill training on the agility of female handball players in Probolinggo Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 10 female athletes selected through purposive sampling. The treatment was a ladder drill training program consisting of Lateral In-and-Out, Zig-Zag Hops, and Icky Shuffle, conducted for four weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. Data were collected using the Illinois Agility Test and analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test with SPSS version 25. The results showed a significant improvement in agility, indicated by a decrease in the average time from 20.47 seconds to 19.53 seconds with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Therefore, ladder drill training has a significant effect on improving the agility of female handball players in Probolinggo Regency.

Abstract

The development of women’s youth football has shown significant progress in recent years. However, studies that specifically analyze the effectiveness of basic technical skills in match situations are still limited, particularly at the youth competition level in Asia. Analyzing fundamental techniques such as passing, control, dribbling, shooting, and heading is important to understand game characteristics and to serve as a basis for performance evaluation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of basic technical skills in a match between the Indonesian and Myanmar national teams in the AFC Women’s U-20 Qualification 2025. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with a match statistical analysis approach. The results show that Myanmar excelled in passing with an effectiveness of 81.9% and ball control with 82.7%, indicating strong collective play. Meanwhile, Indonesia showed superiority in dribbling with an effectiveness of 82.2% and demonstrated higher shooting efficiency at 25.0%. In terms of heading, both teams showed relatively similar effectiveness, with Indonesia slightly higher at 80.6%. In conclusion, the effectiveness of basic technical skills is influenced not only by individual ability but also by team strategy and playing patterns. These findings are expected to provide useful insights for developing more targeted training programs to improve both individual skills and overall team performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze madrasa-based quality management in education, focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Ampenan District, Mataram City. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at five madrasas. Findings reveal that: (1) quality planning is formulated based on vision, mission, and needs analysis involving all stakeholders; (2) quality implementation is realized through programs emphasizing institutional autonomy and creativity; and (3) evaluation is conducted systematically and continuously across academic and non-academic aspects. This study concludes that optimal implementation of madrasa-based quality management significantly contributes to improving graduate quality and community trust.

Abstract

This study examines the protection of the best interests of children in the resolution of hadhanah (child custody) disputes following divorce at the Nganjuk Religious Court. Child custody disputes often arise after divorce and may affect children's welfare, psychological development, and fulfillment of their rights. Therefore, mediation plays an important role in facilitating agreements that prioritize the best interests of the child. This research aims to analyze the efforts undertaken to protect children's best interests in the settlement of hadhanah disputes and to examine the role of mediation in supporting such protection. The study employed an empirical juridical approach with a qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving judges and mediators at the Nganjuk Religious Court. The collected data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the protection of children's best interests is implemented through mediation by encouraging effective communication, maintaining mediator neutrality, identifying the needs of the child, and directing the parties toward agreements that prioritize the child's welfare. The effectiveness of mediation is influenced by the good faith, cooperation, and willingness of both parties to reach a peaceful settlement. Although mediation does not always result in an agreement, it serves as an important mechanism for minimizing conflict and promoting decisions that support the child's well-being after divorce. The study concludes that mediation contributes significantly to the protection of children's best interests in hadhanah dispute resolution.

Abstract

Digitalization of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) is a strategic phenomenon in responding to the dynamics of modernity and the transformation of education in the digital era. This study aims to assess the urgency of pesantren digitalization policies and analyze the dialectical relationship between the demands of modernity and efforts to preserve tradition. The method employed is a qualitative literature study through the analysis of various relevant scholarly sources. The findings indicate that the digitalization of pesantren has become a structural necessity for enhancing the competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions amid globalization and technological advancement. Digitalization serves as an important instrument for improving the quality of students' education, particularly by expanding access to learning resources, encouraging instructional innovation, and developing digital literacy competencies. However, the implementation of digitalization is not free from dilemmas between modernization and the preservation of traditional pesantren values, especially concerning the kiai–santri relationship, the internalization of ethical conduct (adab), and scholarly authority. Furthermore, several challenges hinder its implementation, including limited infrastructure, inadequate digital competencies among human resources, and cultural resistance within pesantren communities. Therefore, an integrative model is needed to harmonize digital technology with traditional values through a value-based approach. This model positions digitalization as a supporting instrument rather than a substitute, thereby creating a balance between innovation and the preservation of pesantren identity. Consequently, policies on pesantren digitalization should be designed in a contextual, adaptive, and sustainable manner while remaining oriented toward the preservation of Islamic values.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study discusses the marriage guardian for daughters born out of wedlock fromthe perspective of community leaders in Watugaluh Village. The issue arises fromdiffering public understandings regarding the position of the biological father as amarriage guardian. Some people consider the biological father entitled to act as themarriage guardian, whereas according to Islamic jurisprudence, a child born out ofwedlock only has a lineage relationship with the mother and the mother's family;therefore, the appropriate marriage guardian is a judicial guardian. This study aimsto examine the views of community leaders as well as the challenges and solutionsrelated to the implementation of marriage guardianship for daughters born out ofwedlock. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach.Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involvingreligious leaders, community leaders, and other relevant parties in WatugaluhVillage. The findings indicate that the biological father does not have the right to actas the marriage guardian because there is no recognized lineage relationshipaccording to Islamic law. Therefore, the marriage guardian used is a judicialguardian in accordance with the Shafi’i school of jurisprudence and the Compilationof Islamic Law.
