Abstract

Corporate Crime is a serious crime that harms the people of Indonesia, especially in the long term. For a long time, corporate crime has often been in the public spotlight, especially with cases such as corruption, money laundering, and tax evasion. Not only that, in the environmental aspect there are also corporate crimes, for example in the abuse of power that causes environmental pollution which has a very wide impact on various parties. Therefore, this study aims to examine how the criminal liability of corporations that commit environmental crimes in Indonesia is carried out. The research methodologyused here is normative juridical research. The results of the research obtained are criminal liability for environmental crimes committed by corporations, accountability not only for individuals, but also corporations such as for example a business entity as emphasized in Articles 116-118 of Law No. 32 of 2009. As well as providing a perspective on how Islamic law responds to the phenomenon of corporate criminal liability. In this case, Islamic Law has views from various sources, namely the Qur'an and As-Sunnah as the main reference in managing the environment and behaving. In Surah Ar-Rum verse 40 Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: It has been seen that the destruction on the land and in the sea is caused by the deeds of human hands (Through it) Allah makes them feel a part of their deeds so that they can return (to the right path). The MUI in its Fatwa once stated that in the utilization of environmental wealth, managers must prioritize ethics that avoid environmental damage not only for the sake of profit. In Islamic law, corporate liability in the environment is to compensate for losses due to unlawful acts.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of animal diseases, along with the increasing need for animal products, highlights the urgent need for efficient diagnostic tools in veterinary medicine. The aim of this research is to create an expert system that uses a forward chaining algorithm to diagnose animal diseases. The forward chaining algorithm is a deductive reasoning approach that starts with existing facts and uses expert tree rules for hypotheses. This process continues until the desired goal is achieved or no additional conclusions can be drawn. Even though there are developments in expert systems, there are still shortcomings in implementing the forward chain for rapid and precise diagnosis of livestock diseases. This work aims to fill this gap by developing an expert system that improves the accuracy and efficiency of disease diagnosis in the livestock industry. A database of animal diseases and symptoms was created by observing and interacting directly with farmers. The system architecture is specifically intended to optimize data processing and user engagement, enabling rapid diagnosis and treatment recommendations. This test shows a level of accuracy and precision, thereby reducing the possibility of misdiagnosis. The capacity of expert systems to provide fast and reliable diagnoses has the potential to improve livestock health management, thereby helping farmers maintain animal welfare and productivity. The results of this work advance the field of veterinary diagnostics and propose other uses of expert systems in animal health management.

Abstract

The existence of Articles 55 and 56 of Act No. 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations, the position of debtor protection in the implementation of bankruptcy carried out by separatist creditors against creditors is weak. This is due to the absence of legal remedies that can be taken by debtors during bankruptcy has been found to have happened to him. Therefore, it is necessary to have a disposition of justice in protecting debtors from the rights of separatist creditors. The implementation of bankruptcy as referred to in Article 55 and Article 56 of Act No. 37 of 2004 has not been fair to the debtor, considering that the two articles are only based on the existence of debt from the debtor and are related to the position of solvent or insolvency based on the creditor's view. This is clearly the case because Act No. 37 of 2004 does not adhere to a balance sheet test system where before being declared bankrupt, it is necessary to test the condition of the debtor whether it is really insolvent or actually still solvent. 2) The factors that have resulted in bankruptcy law so far have not been fair to debtors are legal factors, namely in the form of the provisions of Article 55 and Article 56 of Act No. 37 of 2004 which are unfair to debtors. The law even though is widely known that the door to justice in bankruptcy cases is the judge's decision. 3) It is necessary to reconstruct Article 55 and Article 56 of Act No. 37 of 2004. So that the provisions of Article 55 and Article 56 of Act No. 37 of 2004 read: Article 55 of Act No. 37 of 2004: 1) Due to observance of the provisions as referred to in Article 56, Article 57, and Article 58, each Creditor holding a lien, fiduciary guarantee, mortgage, mortgage, or other collateral right, may exercise his rights as if there had been no bankruptcy.

Abstract

Abstract. Currently the number of Notaries in Indonesia is increasing and making Notaries only focus on the large number of deeds made every day, so this creates a legal loophole, namely that the parties can use fake identities. This study aims to determine the responsibility of Notaries in the event of and legal protection for Notaries if there is falsification of identity carried out by the party in making authentic deeds with a case study on the Decision of the Demak District Court Number Decision 143 / Pid.B / 2023 / PN Dmk. This research method uses a normative legal approach, meaning that the research is conducted using a literature study approach and a statute approach. The type of data uses secondary data obtained from a literature study. The analysis in this study is prescriptive. The results of the study show that a Notary's deed whose face is using a false identity cannot be treated as an authentic deed. Regarding legal protection for Notaries, this can be done by adding a clause at the end of the deed stating that the Notary is not responsible for the false data of the face. Keywords: Authentic Deed; Criminal Investigation; Right of Refusal; Notary.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology and the transformation of digital culture have significantly influenced the religious behavior of young Muslims in Indonesia. Amid the massive and diverse flow of information, Islamic literacy has emerged as a strategic necessity to build an inclusive, contextual, and moderate understanding of Islam. This article aims to examine the dynamics of Islamic literacy movements among the younger generation from 2018 to 2025, using a descriptive qualitative approach based on library research. The findings show that Islamic literacy is no longer limited to the ability to read classical religious texts but has evolved into a cultural movement that integrates textual understanding, critical thinking, and the use of digital media as a space for religious expression. Various initiatives have emerged, including communities, podcasts, digital pesantren, and youth forums that actively produce and disseminate inclusive and reflective Islamic discourse. Islamic literacy plays a vital role in strengthening the religious identity of young Muslims, countering radicalism, and expanding interfaith dialogue. Future strategies to enhance this movement involve collaboration between academics, literacy activists, and Muslim influencers, as well as the optimal use of digital technology grounded in the values of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. Strengthening Islamic literacy equips the younger Muslim generation to become agents of change who uphold the values of Islam rahmatan lil-‘ālamīn in a pluralistic society and within the challenges of the digital era.
