Abstract

One of the tasks of academics such as lecturers or researchers in universities is writing research papers and giving seminars to academic audiences. For the results of published articles to be published quickly, the review factor of the form must be of high value based on the peer-reviewed rating of the journal editor and the blind review system. However, all academics are well aware of the indicators of high impact factors. Therefore, we present this study intending to gain an in-depth understanding of the issues of these high impact factors. We have reviewed around 50 articles. We have given the results as findings that include, among others, high impact journals frequently cited across the academic spectrum, mainly when discussed in other high impact journals. The citation index was first developed in the 1950s to determine journal 'Impact Factors.' In other words, those journals with a score of 10 or more are considered excellent in most categories; a score of 3 is deemed to be adequate, and an average score of less than one. This is a rule of thumb. One caveat to keep in mind is that impact factors and journal comparisons work best when applied to the same field.

Abstract

In contemporary corporate finance, the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors has emerged as a pivotal consideration in investment decision-making. This article delves into the analysis of how social and environmental factors influence corporate investment decisions, employing an ESG approach within financial management. Drawing upon an extensive literature review, this paper synthesizes key insights from existing research on the intersection of ESG factors and financial decision-making processes of corporations. The literature underscores the growing recognition of the significant impact that social and environmental considerations wield on investment decisions, transcending mere financial metrics. By examining the interplay between social and environmental factors and investment decisions, this article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms through which corporations incorporate ESG considerations into their financial strategies. It explores the various frameworks and methodologies used to assess and integrate ESG factors into investment decision-making processes, shedding light on the evolving landscape of sustainable finance. This research contributes to the burgeoning discourse on sustainable finance by offering insights into how corporations navigate the complex interplay between financial objectives and broader social and environmental imperatives. Through empirical analysis and theoretical frameworks, this article seeks to inform policymakers, investors, and corporate stakeholders about the implications of incorporating ESG considerations into investment decision-making processes. Abstract

This article aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 9 on the valuation of financial assets and liabilities from the perspective of public companies. The literature review method is employed to gather and analyze various studies and literature related to the implementation of IFRS 9. From the literature review findings, it is revealed that the implementation of IFRS 9 has significant impacts on the valuation of financial assets and liabilities of public companies. Changes in the classification, recognition, and measurement of financial instruments can affect the financial statements and performance of companies. The importance of a deep understanding of this standard increases with the growing complexity of financial instruments. Three relevant keywords in this article are IFRS 9, financial asset valuation, and public companies. This article is expected to provide additional insights to practitioners, regulators, and academics regarding the implications of implementing IFRS 9 in the context of valuing financial assets and liabilities of public companies. Abstract

This article identified many educational game applications we found online that were relevant for application among madrasa students. Many studies on learning English for madrasah students have been carried out. We have not found any studies with the theme of identifying some relevant game applications applied in madrasah environments whose learning is more Islamic in content and slightly different from other general schools in Indonesia. For this reason, we have conducted a series of data searches in the context of the scientific context of international experts and domestic publications. To get data that can answer the problem first, we conducted a comprehensive study that involved data coding, thorough evaluation, and interpretation of the data so that the data could be used as the highest answer to this elephant's question. After we studied it, we got the results and discussed them carefully. Finally, we can summarize several educational game applications we can access online that we apply to madrasas, including children's pictures dictionary, monkey puzzle game, little birds game, kids learning, Billy playing games, and several games. Another trendy game has been applied in several schools in international contacts. Hopefully, the results of this identification can be helpful in the following study.

Abstract

Literasi keuangan yang rendah menjadi masalah sosial yang perlu ditangani dengan solusi inovatif. Penggunaan aplikasi mobile dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di ITB Stikom Bali pada November 2023 memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keuangan masyarakat. Melalui aplikasi ini, informasi keuangan menjadi lebih mudah diakses, sementara konten edukasi yang interaktif meningkatkan minat belajar. Fitur kalkulator investasi, pelacak pengeluaran, dan notifikasi pasar keuangan juga mendukung praktik keuangan yang bijaksana. Meskipun demikian, tantangan keamanan data dan aksesibilitas perlu terus diatasi. Kolaborasi antara lembaga keuangan, pemerintah, dan penyedia teknologi menjadi kunci untuk memaksimalkan dampak positif aplikasi mobile dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Word Search Puzzle game on students' mastery of concepts in adolescent physical development material. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of this research were 7th-grade students at Junior High School. Each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection uses interview techniques, observation sheets and test instruments. Data was analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the research show that the word search puzzle learning media is effective in improving students' concept mastery abilities. As the data shows, the test results in cycle I were 71.47, and increased in cycle II by 80.29%. Furthermore, the concept mastery indicators also increased from initial observations, cycle I and cycle II. Thus, there is an increase in students' mastery of concepts from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of reality counseling containing local wisdom in increasing students' self-acceptance. The research method used is quantitative. The sample in this study was 33 students in class VII.1 of junior high school. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Then, the data was analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test (U-test). The results of the research found that the average student's self-acceptance score before being given the Reality Counseling intervention with Local Wisdom Content (pretest) was 138.1. Then the average student self-acceptance score after being given the intervention (posttest) was 110.56. There was a decrease in scores before and after the intervention of Reality Counseling activities containing Local Wisdom by 27.54. Then, after being analyzed using the nonparametric statistical test Mann Whitney U Test, the Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) was 0.034. Thus, it can be concluded that Reality Counseling activities containing Local Wisdom have a significant influence in reducing students' low self-acceptance. Reality counseling containing local wisdom can be an alternative in increasing students' self-acceptance so that they become students who are confident, enthusiastic and independent.

Abstract

Meaning of Life is an important part of students' future where the problems in it are related to students' psychology and have an impact on their learning activities at school. The aim of this research is to find out whether the WDEP strategy is able to increase students' Meaning of Life. This research is quantitative research where data was obtained from class XII students. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews and observations. After the data was obtained, the data was analyzed using a paired t-test. The results of this research show that the Wilcoxon test regarding increasing the Meaning of Life of students obtained a calculated Z value of -2.810 where the Asymp Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.00. These results indicate that the Asymp sig value is less than 0.05 (0.00 0.05). These results indicate an increase in students' Meaning of Life after receiving WDEP treatment. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results show that the WDEP strategy is able to increase students' Meaning of Life. With WDEP, students have clear goals, life satisfaction, freedom of will, self-control, and attitudes towards death and are able to have a reason to continue to exist.

Abstract

Economic growth is one of the key indicators used to analyze a country's economic development. A country with consistently increasing economic growth year after year will enhance its development. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of investment, inflation, and public consumption on economic growth in Bandung. This study makes use of secondary data, namely time series data from 2012 to 2022. Multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25 software was employed as an analytical method in this study. The study's findings suggest that, in Bandung, partially investment has little effect on economic growth, inflation has a negative and large effect on economic growth, and public consumption has a significant positive effect on economic growth.

Abstract

Book bank 4 is the bank with the largest number of assets and controls more than half of the banking market in Indonesia. Since the early 2000s BUKU 4 bank is an exclusive club consisting of the 4 largest banks in Indonesia. This changed in 2017 when CIMB Niaga bank entered BUKU 4 bank and a year later Panin bank joined. This study examines what factors underlie these banks can merge into a BUKU 4 bank. Further this research then examines the resilience of BUKU 4 banks to the pandemic. The research method is a quantitative method using multiple linear regression. The research uses data taken from the financial statements of 2010 to 2018. The results show that the factors that drive the convergence of banks are the factors of capital adequacy, low borrowing loans and operational efficiency of banking. Meanwhile, in order for banks to survive this research finds investment factors in technology, maintaining capital adequacy and unpaid debt management.
