Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Kelurahan Limau Sundai, Kecamatan Binjai Barat, Kota Binjai melalui program PIKK (Pembiasaan Ibadah dan Kebiasaan Keislaman) merupakan bentuk nyata penguatan pendidikan Islam berbasis pengalaman pada anak usia dini. Mahasiswa dari program studi PIAUD UIN Sumatera Utara turut ambil bagian sebagai pendamping dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman melalui berbagai kegiatan rutin, seperti pelaksanaan salat bersama, hafalan surah pendek, pembelajaran Al-Qur’an, wirid, dan aktivitas bernuansa islami lainnya. Rangkaian kegiatan tersebut dirancang untuk menstimulasi terbentuknya kebiasaan religius sekaligus memperkuat kesadaran spiritual anak-anak sejak dini. Pendekatan berbasis praktik ini terbukti lebih membekas, karena anak-anak tidak hanya mendapatkan pemahaman konsep, tetapi juga melatih langsung keterampilan beribadah mereka dalam situasi nyata. Evaluasi dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dalam aspek religiositas, moral, dan semangat anak dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, suasana lingkungan belajar pun menjadi lebih kondusif dan bernuansa keagamaan. Sinergi antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat setempat menjadi faktor pendukung utama dalam keberhasilan program ini, sekaligus memperkuat peran pendidikan agama sebagai fondasi pembentukan karakter anak.

Abstract

Purpose – Technology plays an essential role in the learning process; therefore, technological awareness is a necessary competence for teachers. This study aims to examine the influence of mastery of Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) and emotional intelligence on teachers' technological awareness.Method – This study employed a survey method involving teachers from the East Jakarta area who graduated from the Master of Educational Technology program at As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University Jakarta in 2024 (within UIA’s East Jakarta working area). A total of 84 participants were included in the sample. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and simple regression. Findings – The results show that teachers' levels of technological awareness, TPACK mastery, and emotional intelligence are within the moderate range, with mean scores between 3.60 and 3.90. There is a positive and moderately strong correlation (R = 0.489) between TPACK mastery and emotional intelligence with technological awareness. Together, TPACK and emotional intelligence explain 23.90% of the variance in technological awareness, indicating that these factors contribute meaningfully to teachers’ awareness of technology use. Among the two variables, emotional intelligence demonstrates a stronger predictive influence on technological awareness compared to TPACK mastery. The regression model Y = 1.587 + 0.215X? + 0.389X? is statistically significant and can be used to predict the level of technological awareness among teachers. Research Implications – Teachers are encouraged to enhance their technological awareness by integrating TPACK more actively in the learning process, supported by emotional resilience such as perseverance and patience when guiding students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students caused by subject matter that is too much and complex, making it difficult to understand. In addition, the motivation of students in participating in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) is also low, which can be seen from the summative exam scores that do not reach the Learning Objective Completeness Criteria (KKTP). The purpose of this study was to determine whether the learning outcomes of students who used the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by e-LKPD Liveworksheet were higher than the Direct Instruction (DI) model in SKI subjects in class XI MAN 1 Padangsidempuan in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method. The design used is quasi experimental design with posttest only control group design approach. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling, namely class XI MIA I as the control class and XI MIA V as the experimental class. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests and questionnaires. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class was 85.23, while the control class was 81.06. The results of hypothesis testing show that the t value of 2.43 is greater than t table 1.69, so it can be concluded that the PjBL model assisted by e-LKPD Liveworksheet has a significant effect on learning outcomes and student motivation in SKI subjects.

Abstract

In the evolving landscape of digital media, 2D animation has emerged as a dynamic tool for cultural preservation, particularly among university students who are increasingly engaging in creative practices that reflect their cultural identities. This study explores how cultural values are represented in local 2D animation works produced by Indonesian students. The research is grounded in the context of the rising importance of culturally informed media content as a means of transmitting tradition to younger audiences in the face of globalization. Employing a qualitative exploratory approach through literature study and content analysis, the research draws on primary data in the form of student-produced animations retrieved from digital platforms and portfolios, and secondary data from academic literature. The study focuses on visual and narrative elements such as costumes, symbols, traditional folklore, character design, and storyline themes that are embedded with local values. Findings reveal that while most student works demonstrate high motivation to preserve cultural heritage and communicate moral messages, there exists a significant variance in the depth of cultural representation. Elements like batik patterns, traditional dances, and folklore-based narratives are visually present, but often lack contextual integration or symbolic depth. Despite these limitations, some animations successfully blend tradition with contemporary issues such as environmental awareness and identity politics, reflecting critical engagement. The study underscores the importance of fostering cultural literacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and curriculum development in art and animation education to enhance cultural authenticity in student works.

Abstract

Masa usia dini merupakan masa keemasan (golden age) di mana terjadi perkembangan yang menakjubkan baik secara fisik maupun psikis, termasuk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini agar anak-anak dapat memiliki adab yang baik karena melihat yang baik serta mendengar yang baik. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk memahami secara mendalam bagaimana proses penanaman nilai agama dan moral pada anak usia 5–6 tahun melalui media audiovisual dan metode latihan. Adapun pengumpulan data di lakukan dengan melakukan, observasi langsung ke sekolah, dan mewawancarai guru serta kepala sekolahnya serta mengambil dokumentasi di sekolah tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual sangat efektif dalam menarik perhatian anak, sedangkan metode latihan mendorong penguatan nilai-nilai melalui praktik langsung dan pembiasan. Implementasi media audiovisual dalam penanaman nilai agama dan moral terbukti sangat efektif dan berdaya pengaruh tinggi bagi anak usia dini. Metode latihan yang diterapkan secara konsisten telah berhasil membentuk kebiasaan positif dan memperkuat karakter religius anak sejak usia dini. Efektivitas penanaman nilai agama dan moral sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterpaduan berbagai faktor pendukung, khususnya keteladanan guru, keterlibatan keluarga, dan lingkungan sekolah yang Islami.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Program One Pesantren One Product (OPOP) dalam meningkatkan kemandirian santri di Pondok Pesantren Qurrata A’yun, Bogor. Program OPOP merupakan inisiatif berbasis pemberdayaan ekonomi pesantren yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan santri yang tidak hanya unggul dalam bidang keagamaan, tetapi juga mandiri secara ekonomi melalui kegiatan kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden santri yang terlibat langsung dalam program OPOP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program OPOP memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemandirian santri. Dari hasil analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana, diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,62 yang menunjukkan bahwa 62% variasi dalam tingkat kemandirian santri dapat dijelaskan oleh partisipasi mereka dalam program OPOP. Selain itu, 84% responden menyatakan bahwa mereka memperoleh keterampilan kewirausahaan baru, 78% merasa lebih percaya diri dalam mengelola usaha mandiri, dan 71% mulai menghasilkan pendapatan pribadi dari produk-produk yang dikembangkan dalam program. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa program OPOP di Pondok Pesantren Qurrata A’yun berjalan efektif dalam mendukung misi kemandirian ekonomi santri.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of auditor independence and time budget pressure on audit quality with organizational commitment as a moderating variable. This research was conducted at a Public Accounting Firm in the Riau Islands. The sample in this study amounted to 120 respondents. This research is a quantitative study with data analysis techniques using SEM PLS with testing of the measurement model, validity test, reliability and then testing the structural model (inner model). The results of the study indicate that auditor independence has a significant positive effect on audit quality. The more independent the auditor in carrying out his duties, the higher the resulting audit quality. Time budget pressure has a significant negative effect on audit quality. Organizational commitment is able to moderate the effect of time budget pressure on audit quality. Auditors with a high level of organizational commitment maintain audit quality despite facing time pressure, while organizational commitment does not moderate the effect of auditor independence on audit quality. Auditor independence still has a positive impact on audit quality, regardless of the level of organizational commitment. This research has a novelty by presenting the organizational commitment variable as a moderating factor in the Indonesian context, especially at KAP in the Riau Islands which is still rarely explored in the literature. Practically, the results of this study can be valuable input for the auditor profession in improving audit quality through strengthening organizational commitment amidst the challenges of independence and time budget pressure.

Abstract

Garbage problem is a worldwide problem. Efforts to address garbage problem have been performed in several aspect, including automatic garbage classification to support automatic garbage sortation in small scale. In the field of garbage classification, deep learning has been widely used because of its ability to learn feature and also to classify with high accuracy.  Several promising architectures in deep learning such as ResNet50 and InceptionNet have been used for this classification task. InceptionResNet is introduced to combine the strength of both architectures. This research aims to classify Garbage Classification data set which consist of 15150 images from 12 classes by using InceptionResNetV2 architecture. In addition, experiment by using ResNet-50 is also performed to provide comparison of its performance. During experiment, Hyperparamater tuning was performed, namely the learning rate, dropout rate, and the number of neuron in the dense layer. The results show that InceptionResNetV2 outperform ResNet50 in all scenarios. This architecture is able to achieve highest accuracy of 97.54%.  Even though the classification time is longer for InceptionResNetV2, this finding is able to prove the outstanding performance of InceptionResNetV2 in garbage classification. This study contributes to the field of garbage classification by introducing robust and better model for better classification.

Abstract

The rapid growth in the number of coffee shops is in line with the increase in domestic coffee consumption. This growth reflects competition in the world of the coffee industry. To remain relevant in the midst of competition, an application-based digital service is needed that simplifies the coffee ordering process. This research aims to design a user interface and evaluate the prototype design of a flexible and modular web-based digital coffee ordering application. The research focuses on user experience and the segmentation needs of the coffee market. The application design not only meets the needs of basic orders (takeaway, delivery, dine-in), but also supports advanced settings (manual brew and batch brew) as part of the research gap. The Design Thinking approach  is used to identify user needs, find innovations and evaluate the user experience through five stages: emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The test was carried out using The Thinking Aloud and Hallway Testing methods  on 17 respondents with a sampling approach. The respondents have an age range of 17-20 years and are domiciled in Bogor and its surroundings with the most gender, namely men. This method was chosen because it is considered the most representative because it takes random users informally where users can be frank about their thoughts after trying to use the prototype design of the application. The test results showed that the app received a positive response, especially in terms of ease of navigation (? = 4.24) and visual design (? = 4.65). The advanced brew feature still needs improvement in terms of interface and user education (? = 3.65). This research shows that a user-based approach and modular features can add value to digital ordering systems for coffee shops. ABSTRAKPertumbuhan jumlah kedai kopi yang pesat seiring dengan meningkatnya konsumsi kopi domestik. Pertumbuhan ini mencerminkan persaingan di dunia industri kopi. Untuk tetap relevan di tengah persaingan, diperlukan layanan digital berbasis aplikasi yang mempermudah proses pemesanan kopi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang antarmuka pengguna dan melakukan evaluasi terhadap desain prototype aplikasi pemesanan kopi digital berbasis web yang fleksible dan modular. Fokus penelitian pada pengalaman pengguna dan kebutuhan segmentasi pasar kopi. Rancangan aplikasi tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan pesanan dasar (takeaway, delivery, dine-in), namun juga mendukung pengaturan lanjutan (manual brew dan batch brew) sebagai bagian dari gap penelitian. Pendekatan Design Thinking digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, menemukan inovasi dan mengevaluasi pengalaman pengguna melalui lima tahapan: emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode Thinking Aloud dan Hallway Testing terhadap 17 responden dengan pendekatan rendom sampling. Responden memiliki rentang usia 17-20 tahun dan berdomisili di Bogor dan sekitarnya dengan gender terbanyak yaitu laki-laki. Metode ini dipilih karena dianggap paling representatif karena mengambil pengguna acak secara informal dimana pengguna dapat berterus terang terhadap pemikirannya setelah mencoba menggunakan desain prototype aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan aplikasi mendapat respons positif, terutama dalam aspek kemudahan navigasi (? = 4,24) dan desain visual (? = 4,65). Fitur advanced brew masih membutuhkan penyempurnaan dari sisi antarmuka dan edukasi pengguna (? = 3,65). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis pengguna dan fitur modular dapat memberikan nilai tambah pada sistem pemesanan digital untuk kedai kopi.

Abstract

This research was carried out in the Percut Sei Tuan sub-district community in Laut Dendang Village, where researchers saw, reviewed and observed based on several respondents from parents, teachers and the community. about the factors and conditions that affect the social and emotional development of children during this COVID-19 period. This study aims to determine: (1) the relationship of social emotional development in early childhood (2) the factors that influence the social emotional development of children (3) the conditions that affect the social emotional development of children in the Percut Sei Tuan sub-district community in Laut Dendang village. This type of research is descriptive research. The research approach used is case study approach that is literature study (library search). Sources of data/subjects in this study were several respondents who were interviewed and observed. Qualitative research is to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced And the method of collecting secondary data is obtained from published data.
