Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui tingkat kecenderungan persepsi siswa kelas V SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia terhadap mata pelajaran matematika ; 2) mendeskripsikan problematika siswa kelas V yang memiliki persepsi negatif terhadap mata pelajaran matematika ; 3) menjabarkan pemaknaan siswa yang memiliki persepsi negatif terhadap mata pelajaran matematika. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah terdapat siswa yang memiliki karakteristik persepsi negatif terhadap matematika, serta masih terbatasnya literatur ilmiah yang mengkaji secara mendalam pengalaman siswa dalam yang memiliki persepsi negatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif studi fenomenologi dengan teori Bimo Walgito dan subjek penelitian adalah empat orang siswa kelas V-C SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah pengalaman siswa pandangan siswa yang memiliki persepsi negatif terhadap mata pelajaran matematika berdasarkan pengalaman belajar yang mereka alami di kelas V C SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) dengan menggunakan angket, diperoleh empat siswa dengan karakteristik siswa yang memiliki persepsi negatif ; 2) problematika yang terjadi pada siswa yang memiliki persepsi negatif adalah kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dasar matematika seperti perkalian dan pembagian (kognitif) memunculkan perasaan takut, cemas, dan rendahnya kepercayaan diri (afektif), yang kemudian berdampak pada perilaku belajar yang pasif dan kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran (konatif) ; 3) pemaknaan siswa yang memiliki persepsi negatif terhadap pembelajaran matematika adalah menganggap matematika sebagai pelajaran yang sulit, menimbulkan emosi negatif seperti takut dan kurang percaya diri, serta mendorong sikap pasif, menghindari keterlibatan, dan bergantung pada teman dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze errors found in the translation of passive and causative sentences from Indonesian to Japanese by students at three universities in Padang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, by analyzing the translation of passive and causative sentences from Indonesian to Japanese written by 66 Japanese Literature students from three universities in Padang. The theory used is the theory of language errors from Pateda, which states that language errors can occur at the phonological, morphological, semantic, and syntactic levels. Errors found in the translation of passive and causative sentences are found in sentence structure, word choice, the use of postpositions and posverbs. In sentence structure, errors are caused by differences in the construction of passive and causative sentences in Indonesian and Japanese. In word choice, errors are caused by Japanese having several words with the same meaning. Errors in the use of postpositions (auxiliary words) and posverbs (auxiliary verbs) occur in their use, which is not in accordance with the structure and rules of Japanese. From the findings obtained, it can be concluded that errors made by Japanese language learners are due to a lack of understanding of translation and the rules in Japanese. This should require more in-depth explanation and practice regarding translation from Indonesian into Japanese.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to examine the use of digital learning videos as a technology-based assessment tool to evaluate the pedagogical competence of prospective elementary school teachers using Gagné’s Conditions of Learning framework. Methodology: A qualitative descriptive method supported by simple quantitative analysis was employed by analyzing 20 digitally recorded learning videos from a Teacher Professional Education program. A structured video analysis rubric was applied as a form of technology-mediated observation to identify pedagogical indicators, including responding, reinforcement, retrieval, and generalization. Main Findings: The findings indicate that digital video analysis effectively captures pedagogical practices, with responding (43.5%) and reinforcement (29.0%) dominating classroom interactions, while retrieval (14.5%) and generalization (13.0%) appear less frequently. The use of video as a digital medium enables detailed, repeatable, and objective observation of instructional practices across different teaching contexts. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes to educational technology research by integrating classical learning theory with video-based digital assessment, offering a scalable and evidence-based approach for evaluating teacher pedagogical competence in professional education programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional egrang bambu terhadap peningkatan koordinasi gerak siswa kelas V UPT Sekolah Dasar Negeri 066053. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya kemampuan koordinasi gerak siswa yang ditandai dengan kurangnya keseimbangan, kesulitan menyelaraskan gerakan tangan dan kaki, serta pembelajaran PJOK yang masih monoton. Permainan egrang bambu dipilih sebagai alternatif karena dapat melatih keseimbangan, konsentrasi, dan sinkronisasi gerak tubuh secara terpadu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan koordinasi gerak sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 9,4333 pada pretest menjadi 14,0667 pada posttest. Uji paired t-test menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar 11,273 dengan signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Hi diterima. Dengan demikian, permainan tradisional egrang bambu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan koordinasi gerak siswa dan dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran PJOK yang inovatif berbasis kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop a valid, reliable, and culturally relevant evaluation instrument for assessing the pedagogical competencies of teacher candidates in the Professional Teacher Education Program (PPG) at the elementary school level, based on the Condition of Learning theory. Methodology: The study employed a quantitative approach with validation by six experts and field testing involving 100 teacher candidates. Data analysis included Cronbach's Alpha for reliability measurement. The instrument design adhered to Condition of Learning principles, integrating cultural relevance and pedagogical evaluation. Main Findings: Validation scores ranged from 4.3 to 5.0 across aspects, with a reliability score of 0.72 (Cronbach's Alpha). Evaluation results showed mean scores of 85.05 for cognitive, 80.07 for affective, and 81.14 for psychomotor competencies, indicating strong preparedness among teacher candidates. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study integrates Condition of Learning principles with cultural elements, creating a comprehensive evaluation instrument that reflects Indonesia's educational context. It provides a significant tool for improving pedagogical assessments and aligns evaluation with local values and national education standards. This research has an impact on the creation of more effective and relevant evaluation instruments, so that it can improve the quality of professional education of elementary school teachers through the application of learning conditions theory.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze the influence of the Science Technology Society (STS) approach on improving students’ science process skills in science learning. The focus is to evaluate the impact of STS in improving skills such as observation, classification, interpretation, and communication of scientific findings. Methodology: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. This study involved quantitative data analysis using t-test and N-Gain Score. Participants were students from selected junior high schools. The tools used included pretest and posttest instruments, along with an observation checklist. Main Findings: The study found a significant increase in science process skills in the experimental group using the STS approach. The experimental group had a higher mean posttest score (18.00) compared to the control group (17.00). The N-Gain score for the experimental group (0.53) was also significantly higher than the control group (0.25). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces the systematic application of the STS approach to improve students’ science process skills. It offers new insights into how STS integration can create more engaging, relevant, and effective learning experiences. It contributes to the ongoing development of innovative context-based science education strategies.

Abstract

Bedhaya is a traditional Javanese court dance that embodies ethical, aesthetic, and sacred values. Following Indonesia’s independence, restrictions on its performance gradually eased, allowing the dance to be presented beyond the court and fostering its development within arts education. This shift generated a dialectic between cultural preservation and creative innovation, exemplified by Bedhaya Saptongkara, which integrates Balinese dance elements into the Javanese framework to produce an innovative form. Using a choreological approach and comparative method, this study reveals that although Bedhaya Saptongkara retains core principles of bedhaya, it does not fully adhere to the classical structure. Instead, it occupies the category of bedhayan, a derivative genre that reinterprets bedhaya principles within a new creative context. These findings affirm that tradition and innovation are not mutually exclusive; renewal can broaden cultural relevance while maintaining aesthetic roots
