Abstract

Construction projects often face delays and cost overruns due to material delays, labor shortages, and adverse weather. In the Sports Building project in South Kalimantan, a 17-day delay beyond the planned 270-day schedule increased costs, risk of penalties, and threatened the contractor’s reputation and project sustainability. Therefore, accelerating completion is essential to reduce losses. Overtime on critical path activities is a common acceleration method but requires careful analysis since excessive overtime can reduce productivity and raise costs. This study aims to analyze alternatives for accelerating the duration of the construction of a sports arena in South Kalimantan using the Time Cost Trade-Off (TCTO) method. TCT) method is applied, focusing on adding 2, 3, and 4 hours of overtime per day on critical path tasks. The approach integrates actual project data, regulations, and productivity factors to develop effective acceleration strategies. Results show that adding 3 hours of overtime daily is the most efficient, reducing duration from 287 to 283 days and saving IDR 71,652,415.38. However, the 270-day target is not yet met, requiring further crashing. This paper presents only one crashing iteration as a practical simulation to demonstrate the method and potential outcomes. Future crashing will focus on tasks with the lowest cost slope while considering task dependencies.

Abstract

The prevalence of dyslexia, a common neurodevelopmental learning disorder, poses ongoing challenges for early detection and intervention. With the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the fields of healthcare and education, AI has emerged as a promising tool for supporting dyslexia screening and diagnosis. This systematic review aimed to identify recent developments in AI applications for dyslexia detection, focusing on the methods used, types of algorithms, datasets, and their performance outcomes. A comprehensive literature search was conducted in 2025 across databases including ScienceDirect, IEEE Xplore, and PubMed using a combination of relevant MeSH terms. The article selection process followed the PRISMA guidelines, resulting in the inclusion of 31 eligible studies. Data were extracted on AI approaches, algorithm types, dataset characteristics, and key performance metrics. The results revealed that machine learning (ML) was the most widely applied method (58.06%), followed by multi-method (22.58%), deep learning (16.13%), and large language models (3.23%). Among the ML algorithms, Random Forest and Decision Tree were the most commonly used due to their robustness and performance on structured datasets. In the deep learning category, CNN were the most frequently used models, especially for image-based and sequential input data. The datasets varied widely, including digital cognitive tasks, EEG, MRI, handwriting, and eye-tracking data, with several studies employing multimodal combinations. Ensemble and hybrid models demonstrated superior performance, with some achieving accuracy rates exceeding 98%. This review highlights that AI, particularly ML and multimodal ensemble methods, holds strong potential for improving the accuracy, scalability, and accessibility of dyslexia detection. Future research should prioritize large-scale, multimodal datasets, interpretable models, and adaptive learning systems to enhance real-world implementation.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve elementary school students’ learning motivation through behavioral intervention using the token economy technique. The participant was a 10-year-old male student in the fourth grade. The client demonstrated low learning motivation, as reflected in academic scores below the minimum standard, frequent tardiness, passive classroom behavior, poor concentration, and a lack of persistence in completing school tasks and homework. Although the client’s IQ was within the normal range, he was unable to maximize his learning potential and often displayed behaviors that hindered his academic performance. The study employed a behavioral intervention design with the application of token economy, in which tokens were awarded for positive learning behaviors and could later be exchanged for other forms of reinforcement. The findings indicated an increase in learning motivation, evidenced by improved interest, concentration, discipline, and persistence in learning activities. These results highlight the effectiveness of token economy as an intervention strategy to enhance learning motivation in elementary school students. Keywords: Behavioral Intervention, Elementary Student, Token Economy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: first, the history of the tradition of congregational qada prayers. Second, the implementation of the tradition of congregational qada prayers. Third, the wisdom behind the tradition of congregational qada prayer. The main issue in this study is the practice of congregational qada prayer, which has not been studied in depth, both in terms of history, implementation, and the values contained therein, as well as the controversy surrounding the permissibility of congregational qada prayer in the perspective of Islamic law. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research using a descriptive approach and ethnographic study. This research was conducted at the Baiturrohmah Mosque in Jekulo Pulutan Village. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation, and then described using data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusions. After that, several techniques were used to test the validity of the data, including extension, participation, persistence of observation, and triangulation. The results of this study show that, first, this tradition originated from the example set by Kyai Noor Hadi's teacher, Mbah Yasin, to emphasize the importance of fulfilling religious obligations, including missed fardhu prayers. Second, congregational qada prayers do not contain elements of bid’ah and include tarekat practices, including the Syattariyah and Rifaiyyah tarekat. Third, the social and spiritual dimensions found in the tradition of congregational qada prayers include an increase in spiritual values and improvement in worship, humanism, friendship and socialization, the distribution of alms and humility, and physiological and psychological improvement.
