Abstract

Kinerja keuangan menjadi indikator penting dalam menilai kesehatan dan efektivitas manajemen perusahaan, khususnya dalam industri pengembangan real estate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja keuangan PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development Tbk selama periode 2019–2021 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui analisis rasio likuiditas, solvabilitas, aktivitas, dan profitabilitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan memiliki likuiditas yang stabil dan mampu memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek, meskipun terdapat fluktuasi pada beberapa tahun. Rasio solvabilitas menunjukkan tren peningkatan kemampuan perusahaan dalam melunasi utang terhadap ekuitas dan total aset. Namun, kinerja aktivitas mengalami penurunan, ditandai dengan menurunnya perputaran aktiva usaha dan aktiva tetap yang mengindikasikan efisiensi penggunaan aset yang rendah. Profitabilitas perusahaan menunjukkan nilai negatif pada beberapa indikator, meskipun terdapat perbaikan di tahun terakhir, sehingga perusahaan masih menghadapi tantangan dalam memperoleh keuntungan yang optimal. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai kondisi keuangan perusahaan, serta menjadi dasar untuk strategi perbaikan dan pengambilan keputusan manajemen di masa depan. Financial performance serves as a crucial indicator in evaluating the health and managerial effectiveness of companies, particularly within the real estate development sector. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development Tbk from 2019 to 2021 using a quantitative descriptive approach through liquidity, solvency, activity, and profitability ratio analysis. The results reveal that the company maintains stable liquidity and can fulfill its short-term obligations, despite fluctuations in certain years. Solvency ratios indicate an increasing ability to repay debts relative to equity and total assets. However, activity performance shows a declining trend, evidenced by a reduction in total asset turnover and fixed asset turnover, reflecting low asset utilization efficiency. Profitability metrics display negative values in several indicators, although slight improvements are observed in the last year, indicating ongoing challenges in achieving optimal profit levels. These findings provide comprehensive insights into the company’s financial condition and serve as a foundation for managerial decision-making and future improvement strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Kepemimpinan, Lingkungan Kerja, dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMKN 5 Selayar. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel 50 responden, data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah divalidasi. Analisis regresi linear berganda dan pengujian hipotesis (uji parsial dan simultan) digunakan untuk menginterpretasi hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, kepemimpinan (thitung 1,171, Sig. 0,248) dan motivasi (thitung 1,272, Sig. 0,210) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Sebaliknya, lingkungan kerja (thitung 3,792, Sig. 0,000) terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Namun, temuan krusialnya adalah bahwa secara simultan, ketiga variabel (kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, dan motivasi) secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru (Fhitung 15,865, Sig. 0,000). Koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 50,9% mengindikasikan bahwa variasi kinerja guru dapat dijelaskan oleh model ini. Implikasinya adalah peningkatan kinerja guru memerlukan pendekatan yang terintegrasi, di mana kelemahan parsial dapat dikompensasi oleh sinergi keseluruhan dari ketiga faktor tersebut. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Leadership, Work Environment, and Motivation on Teacher Performance at SMKN 5 Selayar. Employing a quantitative approach with a sample of 50 respondents, primary data was collected through a validated questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing (partial and simultaneous tests) were used to interpret the relationship among the variables. The results indicate that partially, leadership (tcount 1.171, Sig. 0.248) and motivation (tcount 1.272, Sig. 0.210) do not have a significant effect on teacher performance. In contrast, the work environment (tcount 3.792, Sig. 0.000) is proven to have a positive and significant effect. However, the crucial finding is that simultaneously, all three variables (leadership, work environment, and motivation) collectively have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (Fcount 15.865, Sig. 0.000). The coefficient of determination (R2) of 50.9% suggests that the variation in teacher performance can be explained by this model. The implication is that improving teacher performance requires an integrated approach, where partial weaknesses can be compensated by the overall synergy of these three factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh komitmen kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Makassar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya peran sumber daya manusia sebagai aset kunci yang tidak dapat ditiru dalam mencapai tujuan strategis perusahaan. Fenomena di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, sebagai lembaga pemerintah yang terus berupaya meningkatkan kinerjanya, sangat bergantung pada kolaborasi yang kuat antara komitmen individu dan budaya organisasi yang suportif. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan populasi sebanyak 31 karyawan tetap dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel, dikarenakan jumlahnya yang terbatas. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden, dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa komitmen kerja dan budaya organisasi secara simultan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan kontribusi sebesar 52,2%. Secara parsial, variabel komitmen kerja menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja, mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi komitmen kerja individu, semakin baik kinerjanya. Namun, variabel budaya organisasi secara parsial tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Temuan ini menyoroti kompleksitas interaksi antara faktor internal dan eksternal dalam membentuk kinerja karyawan. Meskipun demikian, temuan simultan menegaskan bahwa kombinasi kedua variabel ini tetap krusial. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah agar manajemen memperkuat komitmen karyawan melalui peningkatan kesejahteraan dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. This study aims to empirically examine the influence of work commitment and organizational culture on employee performance at the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Makassar Branch. The background of this research is the crucial role of human resources as an inimitable key asset in achieving a company's strategic goals. On-the-ground phenomena indicate that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, as a government institution consistently striving to improve its performance, heavily relies on a strong collaboration between individual commitment and a supportive organizational culture. This quantitative study uses a descriptive approach with a limited population of 31 permanent employees, all of whom were included as the sample. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The analysis results reveal that work commitment and organizational culture have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance, contributing 52.2% of the variance. Partially, the work commitment variable shows a significant and positive influence on performance, indicating that a higher level of individual commitment leads to better performance. Conversely, the organizational culture variable does not have a significant partial influence on performance. These findings highlight the complexity of the interaction between internal and external factors in shaping employee performance. Nevertheless, the simultaneous finding confirms that the combination of these two variables remains crucial. This study suggests that management should strengthen employee commitment by improving welfare and creating a conducive work environment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT According to the Ministry of Health in 2016, around 71 percent of the causes of death in the world are non-communicable diseases (NCDs) which kill 36 million people per year. About 80 percent of these deaths occur in middle- and low-income countries. 73% of deaths are currently caused by NCDs, 35% of which are due to heart and blood vessel diseases, 12% by cancer, 6% by chronic respiratory diseases, 6% due to diabetes, and 15% are caused by other NCDs. One preventive measure that can be taken is to carry out early detection and early follow-up of NCDs risk factors. Objective: Increase public health understanding and peace of mind (especially UIA employees) regarding the prevention of NCDs by conducting health screening, early detection of NCDs prevention and monitoring of risk factors for major non-communicable diseases NCDs, including smoking, unhealthy eating patterns, lack of physical activity, obesity, stress, consumption of alcoholic beverages, hypertension, hyperglycemia, hypercholesterolemia, and excess urate levels. The method used is univariate analysis to look at the results of the NCDs screening, the population of UIA employees by taking a sample of the total population. The results of employees suffering from hypertension were 53%, overweight and obese 54%, high cholesterol levels in the blood 64%, suffering from diabetes mellitus 24% and high uric acid levels in the blood 20%. The conclusion is that the high rates of hypertension, overweight and obesity as well as blood cholesterol levels of more than 50% indicate that there is an unhealthy and unhealthy lifestyle among UIA employees. Suggestions are expected from UIA employees to change their lifestyle to be healthier, carry out preventive efforts and further consultation and control with health services for curative efforts in preventing NCDs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi metode Iqra’ dan Tahsin di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Sumbersari untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan memahami Al-Qur'an. Metode Iqra’, yang merupakan pendekatan bertahap, memudahkan siswa menguasai huruf dan tajwid Al-Qur'an. Metode Tahsin berfokus pada peningkatan kualitas bacaan dengan menekankan tajwid dan tartil. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa metode Iqra’ efektif untuk membantu siswa baru mempelajari Al-Qur'an dengan cepat dan sistematis. Metode Tahsin secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas bacaan siswa yang sudah mengenal huruf Al-Qur'an namun kurang memahami tajwid. Kombinasi kedua metode ini meningkatkan keterampilan teknis membaca dan menumbuhkan kecintaan serta motivasi siswa dalam mempelajari Al-Qur'an. Dukungan dari guru yang kompeten dan fasilitas yang memadai sangat penting untuk keberhasilan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode Iqra’ dan Tahsin di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Sumbersari efektif dan dapat dijadikan model bagi sekolah lain yang ingin meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Al-Qur'an

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze how organizational culture and career development affect the quality of work life of assistant investigators at the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the North Jakarta Metro Police. Research Methodology: A mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design was applied. Quantitative data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire with 45 items completed by 61 assistant investigators. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, producing the equation ? = 5.104 + 0.999X1 + 0.367X2 + e. Instrument testing, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing were conducted. To deepen the findings, qualitative data were obtained through observation, interviews, and literature studies. Results: The study found that the quality of work life had the highest mean score (4.01), followed by organizational culture (3.90) and career development (3.72). The adjusted R² of 0.850 indicates that organizational culture and career development together explain 85% of the variance in quality of work life. Organizational culture positively and significantly influences involvement and mission clarity but reveals weaknesses in digital adaptability. Career development also has a significant effect, though training access remains uneven. Conclusions: Both organizational culture and career development significantly enhance the quality of work life of assistant investigators, with culture being slightly more dominant. Limitations: This study was limited to one police unit and may not fully represent other contexts. Contribution: Contribution: This research guides police institutions to enhance culture, digital readiness, and fair career development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study 1) To determine the interest in memorizing the Quran of students before the implementation of the Storytelling Method at Ma'had Tahfiz Manba'ul Huffaz Medan. 2) How is the result of the implementation of efforts to increase students' interest in memorizing the Quran through the Storytelling Method at Ma'had Tahfiz Manba'ul Huffaz Medan. This research uses the type of field research (field research), with the nature of descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. The research subjects were female students at Ma'had Tahfiz Manba'ul Huffaz Medan. The results of this study indicate that telling stories can increase the interest in memorizing the Quran of students at Ma'had Tahfiz Manba'ul Huffaz Medan. This is evident from the author's interview with students after carrying out the storytelling method at Ma'had Tahfiz Manba'ul Huffaz Medan that their enthusiasm or interest in memorizing the Qur'an is getting better.

Abstract

Singgalang Cabbage is one of the local cabbage cultivated on the foothills of Mount Singgalang, West Sumatra. Recently, the existence of this cabbage has decreased, so conservation and preservation efforts need to be carried out. This research was conducted to develop method for in vitro propagation and preservation of singgalang cabbage. The Murashige and Skoog (MS) were used as basal media with two experimental stages, i.e., shoot initiation with 6-Benzylaminopurine (BAP), and root induction and plantlet preservation with modification of MS media. The nodal and shoots were used as explants. The results showed that increment of BAP concentrations gave a significant effect on shoot initiation after 60 days of treatment. MS media-enriched with BAP 2 mg/L gave significant increment of shoots (4 shoots/nodus) and leaves (11.67) numbers when compared to other treatments. For root induction and plantlet preservation, it was found that the earlier of root formation was observed in modification of MS media at ½ and ¼ strength. Meanwhile, MS media at ⅛ strength was observed to be better media for plant height increment (4.75 cm) when compared to other treatments. It was found that the plantlets survived and grew well after 120 days under in vitro condition.

Abstract

The utilization of maggot frass from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae (Hermetia illucens Linneus, 1875) has garnered attention in the context of organic farming as a promising alternative to enhance plant growth and development. Maggot frass, a byproduct of the larval digestion process, is rich in essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and contains beneficial microorganisms for the soil. This study employs a literature review method. Literature sources were obtained from the Google Scholar database using keywords such as "maggot frass", "kasgot", "Black Soldier Fly", and "Hermetia illucens". The articles obtained were then analyzed to gather secondary data. The aim of this research is to explore the potential utilization of maggot frass from BSF larvae in enhancing plant growth and development in the context of organic farming. Research on the utilization of maggot frass has shown significant potential in improving soil fertility and increasing crop productivity. Furthermore, the use of BSF larvae in organic waste management can also significantly reduce waste volume while creating valuable resources for agriculture. By integrating the utilization of maggot frass into organic farming practices, it is hoped that a more sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural system can be created in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based decision support system using the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) algorithm to assess land suitability for porang cultivation. The system is designed to assist farmers and land developers in selecting optimal planting sites. The research methodology includes problem identification, primary data collection through field surveys, determination of criteria and weights based on land characteristics, and the implementation of the MAUT algorithm to generate land recommendations. The five main criteria considered are soil texture, altitude, temperature, soil pH, and shading level. The results indicate that the three tested land alternatives achieved suitability levels of 86.67%, 75.57%, and 73.33%, respectively. Based on the suitability threshold of ≥70%, all land alternatives are deemed suitable for porang cultivation. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of MAUT in supporting data-driven decision-making in the agricultural sector. Furthermore, this approach can be replicated for other commodities and further enhanced through the integration of spatial mapping and financial benefit analysis.
