Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya olahraga dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan dan meminimalisir penyakit. Metode yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi pola hidup sehat. Mitra dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu guru (n=4) dan siswa (n=26) SMA 2 Yapis Arso X Kabupaten Keerom Provinsi Papua. Menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan informasi berupa tingkat pengetahuan pola hidup sehat. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan guru dan siswa SMA 2 Yapis Arso X Kabupaten Keerom Provinsi Papua setelah mengikuti sosialisasi. Hasil pretest guru dominan kategori cukup sebesar 75% meningkat menjadi baik sebesar 100% pada posttest. Siswa putra pretest dominan kategori kurang sebesar 50% meningkat menjadi baik sebesar 58,3%, dan siswa putri pretest dominan kategori cukup 42,9% meningkat menjadi baik sebesar 64,3%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh sosialisasi berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan guru dan siswa tentang pentingnya olahraga sebagai salah satu aspek meningkatkan pola hidup sehat dan derajat kesehatan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify teachers' perceptions and needs for the development of ethnopedagogy-based teaching materials to improve literacy and numeracy. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques that involved distributing questionnaires to elementary school teachers from diverse cultural backgrounds. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to examine the tendency of respondents' answers regarding aspects of literacy and numeracy, as well as local cultural integration in the learning process. The results show that the majority of teachers are aware of the importance of literacy and numeracy and support the implementation of ethnopedagogy; however, they encounter obstacles in the availability of relevant teaching materials and limited professional development opportunities. These findings suggest a pressing need for the development of teaching materials that not only enhance literacy and numeracy skills but also foster students' cultural identities through contextual learning. This study is an initial contribution to the development of an ethnopedagogy-based teaching material model as a strategic solution in improving the quality of numeracy learning in elementary schools while supporting the preservation of local culture in education.

Abstract

This research is based on the literacy crisis experienced by elementary schools in Indonesia, so that the use of learning models is one of the alternatives for educators and researchers in Indonesia to improve the literacy skills of elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of appropriate learning models in literacy learning in schools so that it can prove that the use of learning models increases or does not increase students' literacy skills in elementary schools. Systematic literature review is the right research method in reviewing previous research. The articles that have been collected are 8 articles indexed by SINTA using the publish or perish application with the range of 2020-2025. Based on the results of the research of 8 articles studied, students' literacy ability shows that it is still relatively low, so that with the application of the model as one of the steps to improve students' literacy skills, this SLR research has never been conducted to examine more deeply the use of models in literacy learning from each research. The use of appropriate learning models such as Discovery Learning, Talking Stick, PBL, TaRL, Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition, Buddy Reading, Project-Based Constructivist and VCT has been proven to improve the literacy skills of elementary school students. It can be concluded that the consistent application of various learning models shows a significant improvement in the literacy abilities of elementary school students.

Abstract

Stroke adalah penyumbang kematian terbesar di dunia. Komplikasi yang biasanya dapat ditemukan pada pasien setelah mengalami stroke adalah depresi. Depresi pasca stroke sering terbaikan padahal memiliki konsekuensi serius terhadap kepatuhan pengobatan, kemampuan rehabilitasi, dan integrasi sosial pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh teknik relaksasi Benson terhadap tingkat depresi pada pasien stroke di Rumah Sakit Fatima Makale, Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan pre-test and post-test with one group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik reliance available sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner untuk mengukur tingkat depresi dari Beck depression inventory (BDI). Dari hasil uji statistik Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai = 0,000 dengan tingkat signifikansi = 0,05. Hasil ini menunjukkan ƿ < α, artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara teknik relaksasi Benson terhadap tingkat depresi pada pasien stroke di Rumah Sakit Fatima Makale Tana Toraja. Tingkat depresi pada pasien stroke setelah diberikan perlakuan selama 2-3 kali per minggu selama 4 minggu mengalami penurunan dari depresi sedang menjadi depresi ringan. Diharapkan keluarga dapat melakukan teknik relaksasi Benson pada pasien stroke di rumah secara mandiri sebagai latihan untuk mengurangi kecemasan atau depresi pada pasien itu sendiri.

Abstract

The rapid development of the creative industry in Indonesia has prompted the emergence of various debates regarding the mechanism for payment of copyright royalties, especially related to direct and indirect payments to the owners of works. This problem is further complicated by various interpretations of applicable legal provisions, such as those stipulated in Law Number 28 of 2014 Article 2 and Article 3, as well as other implementing regulations that regulate the royalty distributive mechanism. This research aims to criticize and analyze in depth the differences in the royalty payment mechanism, identify existing legal loopholes, and provide recommendations for regulatory adjustments to create a fairer and more transparent system between creators and users of works. This study method uses a normative approach with juridical and comparative analysis, which is complemented by literature review, legal document studies, and case analysis related to the implementation of royalty payments in the creative industry sector. The results show that direct royalty payment mechanisms offer higher revenue transparency and accuracy in financial distribution, while indirect payment systems often lead to less effective administrative complexity and supervision. The analysis also revealed that there are shortcomings in the synchronization of implementation between laws and regulations and industry practices, thus causing potential legal disputes. Overall, this study concludes that regulatory harmonization through revision and sharpening of legal provisions, as well as improving supervisory mechanisms, is a strategic step to overcome copyright royalty polemics, encourage distributive justice, and support the sustainable growth of the creative industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Religious and moral values are essential aspects of early childhood development. These aspects relate to children's character, behavior, and ability to recognize their religion. Schools have a significant role in stimulating children's religious and moral values. The children had time to do online-based learning due to the covid-19 pandemic. Now, children can do limited offline learning (PTM). The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the development of children's religious and moral values during online learning and limited offline learning and to find out how significant the differences in the development of children's religious and moral values are during online learning and limited offline learning. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with ex-post facto design. The study was conducted at RA Al-Huda with a sample of 15 students in class A. The results showed differences in developing children's religious and moral values when online learning and limited offline learning were limited. The limited offline learning influences 57.9% of children's religious and moral values, and other factors influence 42.1%

Abstract

This research explores the correlation between students' motivation and engagement in learning activities using ChatGPT, an AI-based interactive tool. It focuses on how ChatGPT influences students' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, as well as their behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement. A quantitative correlational design was employed, involving 385 students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire based on Self-Determination Theory and Fredricks’ engagement framework. The results indicated that students demonstrated moderately high levels of motivation (M = 29.65) and high levels of engagement (M = 32.52) when learning with ChatGPT. Spearman’s rho analysis revealed a moderate and statistically significant correlation (ρ = .559, p < .01) between motivation and engagement. These findings suggest that higher levels of motivation are associated with increased engagement in AI-supported learning activities. The study concludes that ChatGPT can effectively enhance both motivation and engagement, offering practical insights for educators and curriculum designers in developing more interactive, personalized, and student-centered learning experiences. Integrating ChatGPT into educational contexts supports the advancement of digital pedagogy and promotes more meaningful learning in 21st-century classrooms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of STEM-based learning in improving conceptual understanding of prospective physics teachers. The method used is quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study involved 50 students as samples selected purposively. The research instrument consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions categorized based on cognitive levels C1 to C6. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive statistical analysis. Data obtained from the pretest and posttest results were analyzed by calculating the average value, standard deviation, and percentage increase in student understanding. The results showed that STEM-based learning improved conceptual understanding with an average increase of 23.10%, with a minimum score increasing from 30 to 60 and a maximum score from 80 to 90. Analysis based on cognitive levels showed the largest increase in C1 (26.0%) and the smallest in C2 (18.5%). These findings indicate that the STEM approach is effective in strengthening students' conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills. Therefore, STEM-based learning is recommended to be applied in science education to improve the quality of prospective teachers.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan calon guru SD/MI terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Quizizz. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan penyebaran angket sebagai instrumen utama. Data yang diperoleh dari angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil angket yang disebarkan kepada 44 calon guru SD/MI menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar dari mereka telah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti PowerPoint, hanya sedikit yang memahami secara mendalam penggunaan aplikasi interaktif seperti Quizizz. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa 93,2% responden merasa perlu mengikuti workshop tentang penggunaan Quizizz, terutama dalam aspek membuat kuis interaktif, menganalisis hasil kuis, dan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menarik. Temuan ini menegaskan urgensi penyelenggaraan workshop sebagai langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi calon guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan di era digital saat ini.

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of regional autonomy on the economy in Indonesia. There are two variables used to represent the economy, namely economic growth and the unemployment rate. This study uses the literature review method, this is because this method can assist in obtaining a more comprehensive understanding of the concept of regional autonomy and the economy, including theories and concepts. The results of the study show that regional autonomy has a positive impact on the economy in Indonesia, especially being able to increase economic growth and reduce unemployment rates.
