Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum remains suboptimal, leading to challenges for PAI teachers in its preparation and execution. This study aims to describe how the 2013 curriculum is applied in PAI subjects within elementary schools. Utilizing a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants include Islamic Religious Education Teachers and School Principals, selected through these methods of observation, interview, and documentation. The data collected is analyzed qualitatively, following these steps: data reduction, presentation, conclusion, and verification. To ensure data validity, source triangulation and techniques were employed. The study findings indicate that (1) teachers prepare lesson plans by downloading templates from the Ministry of Education and Culture's website and adapting them to their school's context. (2) Teachers have not fully implemented integrative thematic learning, and their use of scientific learning approaches, media learning activities, and teaching methods remains conventional. (3) The evaluation of the 2013 curriculum in elementary PAI subjects shows that teachers employ authentic assessments to evaluate students' attitudes, knowledge, and skills.

Abstract

Display teaching materials are one of the learning media used to present material in visual form to make it easier for students to understand. Types of display teaching materials include images, diagrams, graphs, posters, photographs, realia, and dioramas, each of which plays a role in clarifying learning concepts. Their use can increase students' interest in learning, memory, and the effectiveness of student understanding of the material being taught. In its application, display teaching materials have advantages, such as being able to attract students' attention, simplify complex information, and can be used as an aid in various subjects. However, there are also disadvantages, such as limited size, less interactive than digital media, and the need for creativity in their development to be effective in supporting the learning process. Therefore, the right strategy is needed in selecting and developing display teaching materials to suit students' needs and learning objectives.

Abstract

Education and application of discipline character in children should be started as early as possible. Through discipline character, children are taught to behave according to established standards. In this study, the role of teachers in applying discipline character in Sholeh toddler playgroup is examined. There are specific problems in the role of educators in applying discipline character in children. This study aims to determine the extent of the role of educators in applying discipline character in Sholeh toddler playgroup in Agam Regency. This type of research uses qualitative research methods with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data in this study were taken directly to the field, namely the research location at KB Balita Sholeh in Salareh Aia Barat village, Palembayan sub-district, Agam Regency. The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of guaranteeing data validity uses source triangulation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this study uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study are concluded that the role of educators in applying discipline character in Sholeh toddler playgroup has shown development with good results. This is proven by the actions or attitudes shown by the children, including the children have started to maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the classroom, line up neatly and orderly and many of them have obeyed the rules at school

Abstract

This article discusses the waste management strategy for the Air Dingin River Basin (DAS) in Koto Tangah district, Padang City, using a Community-Based Development Approach.This research is motivated by lack of public awareness regarding environmental proctection particularly regarding waste management. This is evident in the habit of people directly disposing of waste into the river or piling it on the banks of the Air Dingin River Basin in Balai Gadang and Batang Kabung Villages, Koto Tangah District. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of waste, waste management strategies, and formulate appropriate policies for waste management using a community-based development approach. The research findings indicate that residents living along the banks of the Air Dingin River Basin (DAS) in Koto Tangah District, Padang City, generally dispose of waste directly into the river without prior waste separation. The waste characteristics include garbage, street sweeping, dead animals, and household refuse.

Abstract

People do not often realize that humans who believe in (monotheism) will get privileges from Allah SWT. The matter makes todays people less interested in tawhid. As a result, various deviations occur in the midst of Muslims life, such as a spiritual crisis which indicates that there has been a mistake in human perspective. This article explains what privileges will be obtained by monotheistic humans according to Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab. This study used the literature or document study method in qualitative research with interpretation analysis techniques. The data used are primary and secondary. The primary data comes from the writings of Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab. Then, secondary data is relevant literature to Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab. According to him, the privileges obtained by monotheistic humans are; monotheism eradicates sins, and whoever practices monotheism will enter heaven and get peace of heart and soul.  These findings can have implications for humans who do not practice monotheism, do not believe, or are unaware of the privileges that humans will gain.

Abstract

This paper investigates the Islamic philosophical and theological concept of ridha as elucidated by the prominent scholar Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyah. Ridha, in Ibn Qayyim’s view, represents a state of inner tranquility and acceptance, essential for mitigating anxiety and dissatisfaction in individuals. Despite the material wealth prevalent in contemporary society, many still experience spiritual unrest due to a lack of ridha. This study posits that true belief in God necessitates a serene acceptance of divine provisions, embracing both adversities and blessings with contentment. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing library research and descriptive analysis of relevant literature to provide a comprehensive understanding of ridha. Content analysis techniques are applied to systematically evaluate and interpret the concept and its implications. Findings reveal that for Ibn Qayyim, ridha involves a profound acceptance of Allah’s will, characterized by the absence of discontent towards divine decrees and a balanced approach to both favorable and adverse circumstances. The study delineates three progressive stages of ridha: reconciling with one's situation, fostering harmonious relationships with others, and overcoming envy. This exploration underscores the enduring relevance of ridha in addressing modern existential challenges and spiritual fulfillment.

Abstract

Writing ability is an ability that refers to the notion of knowledge and understanding of writing Judging from language skills writing is an active productive activity namely the activity of producing language and writing activity is also a form of realization of abilities and skills in the most recent language mastered by language learners after listening speaking and reading skills Seeing the importance of this writing skill the purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of the CLT method in improving students descriptive text writing skills In its application the researcher used CAR In this study there were 20 students of SMA PGRI Kalabahi in the academic year 2022 2023 The data of this study were obtained from students writing tests As a result of the research the CLT method has a significant impact on students writing ability In addition the supporting factors of learning success include the use of props to write descriptive text and the teacher s proficiency in applying the contextual approach Meanwhile the inhibiting factors were students lack of knowledge about descriptive text their lack of ability and enthusiasm in stringing words to create descriptive text students low interest in descriptive text writing activities as well as students enthusiasm and unsupportive play environment The application of contextual approach was able to develop students descriptive text writing ability seen from the results of students descriptive text writing students interest and response in following the learning of descriptive text writing by using contextual teaching and learning method < p>

Abstract

Perkembangan wacana epistemologi modern menuntut pemetaan ulang prinsip metodologis yang mendasari pencarian kebenaran, baik dalam tradisi ilmu Barat maupun Islam. Perbedaan sumber, orientasi, dan batas validitas pengetahuan menimbulkan kebutuhan akan analisis komparatif dan integratif terhadap berbagai pendekatan epistemologis yang berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan konseptual antara prinsip verifikasi yang dikemukakan A.J. Ayer, falsifikasi Karl Popper, serta kerangka epistemologi bayani, burhani, dan irfani dalam tradisi keilmuan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur yang bersumber dari artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional, buku filsafat ilmu, literatur klasik keislaman, serta publikasi akademik yang relevan dalam rentang tahun 2015–2025. Data diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi dengan menelusuri basis data ilmiah dan sumber pustaka tematik yang berkaitan dengan filsafat ilmu dan epistemologi Islam. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis isi dan analisis tematik yang mencakup proses reduksi data, kategorisasi konsep, sintesis argumentatif, serta interpretasi epistemologis secara komparatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip verifikasi dan falsifikasi memberikan fondasi empiris-rasional yang kuat bagi pengembangan sains modern, terutama dalam menegaskan keterujian dan sikap kritis terhadap teori ilmiah. Namun, kedua pendekatan tersebut memiliki keterbatasan karena belum mampu menjangkau dimensi normatif dan spiritual pengetahuan. Sebaliknya, epistemologi bayani, burhani, dan irfani menawarkan struktur metodologis yang lebih holistik dengan memadukan otoritas teks, rasionalitas demonstratif, dan pengalaman spiritual. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi dialogis antara kelima pendekatan tersebut berpotensi memperkaya khazanah filsafat ilmu kontemporer serta membuka ruang bagi pengembangan metodologi keilmuan yang lebih komprehensif, seimbang dan bernilai etis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan dan konservasi sumber daya garam gunung di Kecamatan Krayan Selatan, Kalimantan Utara, dengan pendekatan ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati. Garam gunung di wilayah ini memiliki peran penting dalam ekonomi lokal dan budaya masyarakat adat Lundayeh yang mengelola garam dengan metode tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method yang menggabungkan survei lapangan kuantitatif, analisis kualitatif melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan 25 informan kunci, serta analisis spasial berbasis GIS untuk pemetaan sebaran sumber daya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima temuan utama: (1) identifikasi 12 titik mata air garam dengan karakteristik hidrogeologi berbasis batuan sedimen Karst dan salinitas tinggi (15-25%), (2) keberadaan mikroorganisme halofilik endemik dan vegetasi rawa pegunungan yang sensitif terhadap perubahan ekosistem, (3) praktik pengelolaan tradisional Lundayeh yang memiliki jejak karbon rendah namun menghadapi tekanan modernisasi, (4) kesenjangan antara standar mutu nasional dan metode produksi tradisional, serta (5) ketiadaan mekanisme kelembagaan formal untuk konservasi berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan dan potensi dalam pengelolaan berkelanjutan, dengan mempertimbangkan aspek ekosistem yang mendukung dan keberagaman hayati. Model pengelolaan yang diusulkan bertujuan untuk menjaga keseimbangan antara pemanfaatan sumber daya alam dan pelestarian ekosistem. Penelitian ini memiliki kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pengelolaan sumber daya alam berbasis kearifan lokal di wilayah perbatasan Indonesia.

Abstract

Morality is a problem that will never stop being studied and explored. In the world of education, it is very necessary to have good morals and character. If from an early age children are taught to have good character and manners and be independent, then eventually they will be more accustomed to it as adults. By conducting a study at PAUD Sungai Sapih Peduli, God willing, a strong generation with good and noble character will be created. This type of research uses natural qualitative research, namely using the habit method which takes place at PAUD Sungai Sapih Peduli. The data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data sources. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and verification. And to test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) The description of character education in strengthening character education in Sungai Sapih Peduli Early Childhood Education is implemented through exemplary methods and habituation methods that are carried out continuously and sustainably by applying character education values ​​including: behavior, patience, politeness, discipline, independence, and having an attitude of tolerance/social care. 2) The factors that influence character education in strengthening character education are divided into two, namely supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors are, the school environment through good behavior and examples from the principal, and teachers, teacher readiness in conducting learning in accordance with SOPs and the use of methods used.
