Abstract

Early childhood educators are stimulating aspects of children's cognitive development. Cognitive development is a human thought process to assess, connect, and consider a particular problem. Cognitive development in children refers to the way of thinking, reasoning, solving problems, and being able to use various symbols such as words, images, gestures, and numbers. The objectives of this study are: 1) obtain information 2) produce interactive learning multimedia that is appropriate for initial reading skills; 3) to determine the effectiveness of the media produced for the child's early reading ability. This research is a type of research and development that refers to the Dick & Carey model. The research stage conducted was 9 out of 10 stages of the Dick & Carey model. The population in the study consisted of 3 schools totaling 60 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling with a sample of 27 people consisting of one-to-one evaluation subjects of 3 children in one school. The subject of small group evaluation is 9 people in one different school. The subject of the field trial evaluation is one class, namely 15 people in one different school. The data collection instruments used are questionnaires, observations, and tests. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study are as follows. (1) Multimedia Development of Interactive Learning There are several media in it, namely text, audio, visual, color , and animation. (2) Multimedia interactive learning is packaged into a flash disk with elements such as text, visuals, colors , audio, and animation. (3) Multimedia interactive learning can improve children's early reading abilities. The average score of the pretest was 70.7 and the average posttest was 95. It can be seen that the average score of children increased by 26% after using interactive learning multimedia. It was concluded that multimedia interactive learning can improve early childhood reading skills

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the 6E Learning by Design model on students’ problem-solving skills in learning sound wave material at MAN 2 Palu City. The research used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all class XI MIPA students. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with class XI MIPA I (n = 34) as the control class and class XI MIPA J (n = 34) as the experimental class. The instrument used was a problem-solving skills open-ended test. The results showed that the increase in problem-solving skills scores in the experimental class was higher than in the control class, with an N-gain value of 0,685, categorized as moderate. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Mann-Whitney U test at a significance level of 0,05. Furthermore, the effect size was 1,4 (d ≥ 1.3), indicating a strong effect. These results indicate that the 6E Learning by Design model effectively improves students’ problem-solving skills on sound wave material.

Abstract

This research examines the role of e-commerce in empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia through a qualitative approach based on literature review. Analysis of scientific literature from 2021-2025 identifies three main focuses: mechanisms of e-commerce in enhancing MSMEs capacity and competitiveness, determinant factors of digital technology adoption effectiveness, and strategies for sustainable empowerment optimization. Research findings indicate that electronic commerce platforms function as catalysts for market access expansion, digital literacy improvement, and business turnover growth acceleration. Adoption effectiveness is influenced by business operators' digital literacy, technology infrastructure availability, capital access, and socio-cultural ecosystem support. Optimization strategies require multi-stakeholder collaboration through intensive training programs, pro-MSME policies, and inclusive infrastructure development. This research contributes to enriching digital economy literature with Indonesian contextual perspectives and provides policy recommendations for strengthening MSMEs digital transformation as national economic pillars. Practical implications include the necessity of continuous mentoring and government-private sector synergy in creating conducive digital ecosystems for micro-enterprises sustainability in Indonesia.   Keywords: E-commerce, Empowerment, MSMEs   Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji peran e-commerce dalam pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis kajian kepustakaan. Analisis literatur ilmiah periode 2021-2025 mengidentifikasi tiga fokus utama: mekanisme e-commerce dalam meningkatkan kapasitas dan daya saing UMKM, faktor-faktor determinan efektivitas adopsi teknologi digital, dan strategi optimalisasi pemberdayaan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform perdagangan elektronik berfungsi sebagai katalisator perluasan akses pasar, peningkatan literasi digital, dan akselerasi pertumbuhan omzet usaha. Efektivitas adopsi dipengaruhi oleh literasi digital pelaku usaha, ketersediaan infrastruktur teknologi, akses permodalan, serta dukungan ekosistem sosial-budaya. Strategi optimalisasi memerlukan kolaborasi multipihak melalui program pelatihan intensif, kebijakan pro-UMKM, dan pengembangan infrastruktur inklusif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya literatur ekonomi digital dengan perspektif kontekstual Indonesia dan memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan untuk penguatan transformasi digital UMKM sebagai pilar perekonomian nasional. Implikasi praktis mencakup perlunya pendampingan berkelanjutan dan sinergi pemerintah-swasta dalam menciptakan ekosistem digital yang kondusif bagi keberlanjutan usaha mikro di Indonesia.   Kata Kunci: E-Commerce, Pemberdayaan, UMKM

Abstract

This research was motivated by the limitations of the media used in the learning process, causing a lack of student response, which affected student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is 1) to produce an integrated e-module QR Code teaching material product on the cultural diversity of my nation for grade 4 elementary schools that is feasible and practical, and 2) to determine the effectiveness of the e-module integrated with QR Code material on the cultural diversity of my nation for grade 4 elementary schools that was developed. This type of research is R&D (research and development) based on the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) model. This study was conducted with fourth graders at SD Negeri 14 Mendo Barat. Data collection techniques include tests and non-tests. Data collection instruments include questionnaires, interviews, and 10 test questions. To test effectiveness, the data analysis techniques used are descriptive qualitative, normality testing, and hypothesis testing using the paired samples t-test. Based on the assessment results, material validators received an average of 92.3%, and media validators received an average of 82%. Small-group trials had 100% results, whereas large-group trials had 100%. Class IV student responses to the questionnaire were 100%. The results of the paired sample t-test (t-count > t-table) are 10.825> 2.068. Thus, Ha is accepted, meaning that there is effectiveness in using the E-Module in the Cultural Diversity of My Nation class IV material at SD Negeri 14 Mendo Barat. It can be concluded that the e-module, combined with QR Code material on cultural diversity in my country, is feasible, practical, and effective for use as teaching material.

Abstract

This article examines the semantic meanings of three Qur’anic terms related to the concept of paradise -Jannah, Hadāʾiq, and Raudhah- by using Geoffrey Leech’s semantic framework. The study aims to identify the root words, basic meanings, and contextual usage of these terms in Qur’anic verses, while applying Leech’s semantic principles to clarify their semantic distinctions. Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a structural semantic approach, this research analyzes how each term contributes to the Qur’anic construction of paradise. The findings indicate that Jannah is the most frequently used term and primarily denotes an eschatological and eternal paradise. In contrast, Hadāʾiq is predominantly employed in a worldly context to describe lush and well-cultivated gardens, while Raudhah carries a more symbolic and spiritual nuance, particularly as it is further elaborated in the Hadith tradition. These variations suggest that the Qur’an presents the concept of paradise through a layered and contextual semantic network rather than a single, uniform meaning. This study highlights the importance of semantic and linguistic approaches in preventing reductive interpretations of Qur’anic terminology and in fostering more critical and reflective engagement with the Qur’anic text. Abstract

Time series models that model volatility in financial data, especially in stock market indices such as the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), are Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) models. Following the ratification of the revised Armed Forces Law in March 2025, the JCI experienced increasing volatility, indicating persistent volatility. The problems in the JCI data require a time series model that can capture persistent volatility, namely the Integrated Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (IGARCH) model. Parameter estimation for IGARCH models generally uses the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method, which has limitations in handling parameter uncertainty. The Bayesian approach can address parameter uncertainty through the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods. Among these, Hamiltonian Monte Carlo (HMC) is more efficient than Metropolis-Hastings and Gibbs Sampling, particularly in exploring complex posterior distributions. This study utilizes daily closing price data of the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) as the main observation variable, observed from April 3, 2023, to April 9, 2025. This study aims to construct a volatility model for the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) using a Bayesian IGARCH model with an HMC algorithm. This research only uses the IGARCH(1,1) model. The model has a strong ability to capture the JCI’s volatility structure, and its point forecasts are stable. However, credible intervals reveal the uncertainty level, so the volatility of JCI may decrease or increase.

Abstract

Tepung ikan merupakan suatu produk yang dihasilkan dengan jalan mengeluarkan cairan lemak dan air yang terkandung didalam tubuh ikan. Tepung ikan terbuat dari limbah padat yang dibuat untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan tambahan untuk pakan ternak dan ikan. Penulisan Tugas Akhir ini disusun berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengumpulan data di PT. Delta Pasific Indotuna, Bitung Sulawesi Utara. Tugas akhir ini menggunakan jenis data kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan studi literatur. Penerapan manajemen pada pengolahan tepung ikan berdasarkan fungsi manajemen perencanaan meliputi kapasitas produksi, modal, perencanaan peralatan, perencanaan tenaga kerja, fungsi pengorganisasian meliputi head fish meal, supervisor, operator, helper, fungsi pelaksanaan meliputi penerimaan bahan baku, pemasakan, pengepresan, pengeringan, pendinginan, penghalusan, pengepakan, penyimpanan, pemuatan, pengujian kadar air, fungsi pengawasan dikontrol langsung oleh QC (Quality Control) dan CCTV, fungsi evaluasi meliputi penilaian pada penerapan fungsi manajemen pengolahan tepung ikan (fish meal).

Abstract

Social cultural changes in the Community Environment 1 Kelurahan Kedai Durian, Medan Johor District, Medan City, have had a significant impact on the dynamics of environmental culture. This study aims to understand and address how social attitudes change in the Community and how they respond to social changes to maintain their social cultural identity. This Research Method uses a Qualitative method with Interview Techniques and direct observation by interviewing one of the Local Neighborhood Heads. The results of the study show that the Community Environment 1 Kelurahan Kedai Durian, Medan Johor District, Medan City, has an adaptive strategy in accepting and facing social cultural changes, such as accepting changes, accepting the impact of the Modern Era and maintaining positive cultural values. This study found that it is important to maintain and preserve local cultural attitudes and maintain the cultural identity of the Community.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social order of the community in Gang Musholla Lingkungan Lima, Pekan Subdistrict, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, as well as to examine the forms of social interaction, values, norms, and cultural practices that persist in the area. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of community leaders and the head of the *perwiritan* group residing in Gang Musholla Lingkungan Lima. The findings Indicate that the social structure of the community is still predominantly characterized by strong kinship patterns, while social relations among residents are built upon values of mutual cooperation, tolerance, and social solidarity. Religious activities such as, along with the use of the musholla as a center of social interaction, play an important role in maintaining social norms and fostering collective awareness among community members. However, this study also identifies challenges in the form of value changes resulting from technological development, a decline in the intensity of direct interaction among younger generations, and shifts in the role of community leaders in local decision-making processes. Overall, the social order in Gang Musholla Lingkungan Lima continues to reflect the characteristics of a traditional community with cohesive social patterns, while undergoing a process of social adaptation toward a more modern social structure. This study is expected to serve as a reference for social and community studies and as a basis for the development of locally based community empowerment programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social order on Jl. Pintu Air Sisingamangaraja, Medan Kota District, by examining the social structure, interaction patterns, economic activities, and dynamics of community life formed in this densely populated urban environment. Using a qualitative approach through field observations, interviews with community leaders and local residents, and documentation reviews, this study attempts to provide a comprehensive picture of the developing social relations, the level of cohesion among residents, and the influence of the physical conditions of the environment on community social behavior. The research findings indicate that the social order in this area is formed through a combination of cultural factors, the informal economy, and the proximity of settlements that encourage intensive social interaction, but also give rise to several challenges such as spatial irregularities, economic competition, and diversity of social backgrounds. Nevertheless, the community is still able to build forms of social adaptation through kinship networks, neighborhood cooperation, and mutual cooperation practices that serve to maintain social stability amidst the ongoing changes and developments in urban areas.
