Abstract

Effective time management in the industrial workplace is key to reducing the high levels of stress that workers often face. In a competitive and dynamic industrial environment, good time management can help individuals organize their tasks and responsibilities more efficiently, thereby reducing stress and improving mental and physical well-being. Various time management techniques have been developed and implemented by individuals in the industry to overcome these challenges. This includes prioritizing tasks, using effective time planning, task delegation, setting deadlines, and utilizing technology. However, the effectiveness of these techniques may vary depending on individual preferences, work culture, and the physical environment of the workplace. Additionally, it is important to understand differences in the application of time management techniques between industries, taking into account different job demands, work cultures, and company policies. Implementing appropriate time management techniques can help individuals reduce stress levels and increase productivity, while paying attention to these factors also helps organizations create a more sustainable and competitive work environment.

Abstract

The digitization of the store industry has become an increasingly important trend in today's digital era, and internet marketing orientation and innovation are considered key factors in achieving competitive advantage in a digital environment. This study aims to analyze the role of internet marketing orientation and innovation in digitizing the shop industry and its impact on marketing performance. This study used a quantitative analysis method using primary data collected through a survey of shop owners and managers in Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The research sample consists of 50 shops that have carried out the digitization process. Sampling used accidental sampling which was then analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that internet marketing orientation and innovation have a significant positive effect on marketing performance in the digitalization of the tavern industry. More specifically, the effective use of social media and e-commerce platforms increases the visibility and accessibility of stores, thereby increasing the number of customers and sales volume. In addition, product and process innovation in store digitization can increase differentiation and operational efficiency, which in turn affects customer satisfaction and business profits.

Abstract

Persaingan pasar dan kekuatan bisnis menjadi syarat kebertahanan UMKM. Penerapan strategi inovasi serta pemasaran media sosial yeng efektif terhadap produk dapat menyebabkan diferensisasi dengan pesaing dan menarik lebih banyak pelanggan sehingga membentuk keunggulan bersaing. Penelitian ini menentukan hubungan antara strategi inovasi, pemasaran media sosial dan keunggulan kompetitif UMKM di Surabaya. Penelitian kuantitatif melakukan survei langsung kepada pelaku UMKM melalui kuesioner. Teknik analisis data melibatkan regresi berganda untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara variabel strategi inovasi dan pemasaran media sosial dengan keunggulan bersaing. Hasil penelitian membuktikan strategi inovasi memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing UMKM kerajinan tangan di Kota Surabaya. Pemasaran melalui media sosial juga memberikan kontribusi yang positif terhadap keunggulan bersaing, menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas pemasaran online dapat menjadi faktor penentu penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di era digital.

Abstract

The development of the times has brought society to a more modern direction, including in terms of beauty care. Therefore, it is not surprising to meet the community's need for this, more and more skincare clinics are found competing with each other to satisfy their consumers. With this phenomenon, this study was conducted to find out and prove that consumer satisfaction is caused by product quality and skincare prices. The explanatory research method was chosen for this study. The sample was obtained by accidental sampling technique so that there were 80 respondents. These 80 respondents met the criteria because they had visited and used products from one of the skincare clinics in Mojokerto City. This survey was conducted to observe and find out the opinions of consumers about their satisfaction based on product quality and price. This study requires primary data from 80 respondents, therefore the questions/statements in the questionnaire will be compiled. After data from 80 respondents have been collected and all meet the requirements, data tabulation, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination test will be carried out using SPSS 26 for windows. It is known that the results of his research prove that product quality can have an effect on consumer satisfaction with significant results. Furthermore, for the price is also the same, can affect customer satisfaction significantly. It was also found that both (product quality and price) can affect consumer satisfaction with significant results.

Abstract

Minum kopi bukan hanya sekedar memanfaatkan kafein yang ada tetapi juga menjadi gaya hidup masyarakat saat ini. Kondisi ini menyebabkan bisnis kedai kopi sangat diminiati. Banyaknya bisnis kedai kopi yang bermunculan menciptakan persaingan untuk merebut konsumen dengan keputusan pembeliannya. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahu keputusan pembelian yang dipengaruhi citra toko, suasana toko, dan harga. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu kedai kopi Starbucks yang ada di kota Surabaya. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan 100 sampel yang diambil dengan accidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasilnya menunjukkan citra merek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian secara parsial. Store atmosphere juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian secara parsial. Selanjutnya harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian secara parsial. Ketiga variabel bebas yaitu citra merek, suasana toko, dan harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian secara simultan

Abstract

Employees are one of the company's assets to survive in the midst of competition so that improving the quality of employees and creating a conducive work environment is also needed. Currently, companies need employees who are committed to the company, but it requires a work environment that supports it. In this study, conducting research on company employees in Surabaya, purposive sampling technique is the choice for sampling with the results of the number of respondents obtained as many as 55 respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was used for this research, which when concluded from the research results obtained that the work environment and organizational commitment affect employee satisfaction. Companies need to increase organizational commitment and create a conducive environment to increase employee satisfaction

Abstract

Communication is very essential in human life. Communication as a social interaction tool is useful for knowing and predicting other people's attitudes, as well as for knowing one's own existence in creating a balance with society or the environment. Interpersonal communication is a communication skill since childhood, from the closest environment. Experts have identified various approaches to studying the quality of communication. Emotions and intellectual intelligence can be a factor in developing the quality of communication. In addition, learning outcomes can be used as a reason for the formation of quality communication. This study aims to determine the role of emotional intelligence and learning outcomes on the quality of interpersonal communication between students and lecturers at UNSURI Surabaya. The population in this study were all students at the Faculty of Economics. Sampling using purposive sampling method. The number of samples is 128 people. Data collection uses a survey method. The data analysis technique used in this study is a multiple regression technique to determine the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results prove that there is a role of emotional intelligence and learning outcomes on the quality of communication between lecturers and students.

Abstract

The quality of education is very dependent on the role of teachers in it because teachers are professional educators. Quality education processes and outcomes are also inseparable from teacher performance. Therefore, given the importance of this, various efforts are still being made to improve teacher performance such as self-discipline, self-concept and self-efficacy as will be discussed in this study. This study uses a quantitative approach by using the method of observation and questionnaire design. The population observed was 38 teachers, because the number was less than 100, the sample was determined using the census technique. The data were then tested for validity and reliability as well as the classical assumption test. In the end there is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26.0 program. The conclusion that self-discipline has a significant effect on improving teacher performance. Likewise, what happened to the independent variables of self-concept and self-efficacy also had a partial and significant influence on improving teacher performance. These three variables have a significant effect simultaneously on improving teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi digital, citra merek, dan keberagaman produk terhadap minat beli konsumen pada produk sandal dan sepatu di Kepuh Kiriman Waru, Sidoarjo. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2024 di beberapa toko sepatu dan sandal di daerah tersebut, melibatkan 96 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dirancang untuk mengukur variabel-variabel penelitian, yaitu promosi digital, citra merek, keberagaman produk, dan minat beli konsumen. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel yang diteliti valid, dengan nilai r_hitung yang lebih besar dari nilai r_tabel sebesar 0,199 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik regresi berganda mengungkapkan bahwa promosi digital, citra merek, dan keberagaman produk memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen. Promosi digital terbukti meningkatkan minat beli dengan cara menarik perhatian konsumen melalui media digital. Citra merek yang positif meningkatkan kepercayaan dan loyalitas konsumen, sedangkan keberagaman produk memenuhi preferensi beragam konsumen dan meningkatkan kepuasan mereka. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pelaku bisnis dalam merumuskan strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif di pasar sandal dan sepatu serta meningkatkan daya saing mereka di Kepuh Kiriman Waru.

Abstract

Change management is key to improving organizational performance in a changing era. One emerging approach is sustainable Human Resource Management (GHRM), emphasizing environmentally friendly and sustainable practices. This study evaluates the contribution of GHRM to organizational commitment and innovative behavior of employees at four universities in Surabaya. It was conducted with a sample of 25 employees from each college using accidental sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed by statistical methods. The results show the significance of GHRM contribution to organizational commitment and innovative behavior of employees. GHRM practices that focus on sustainability and environmental friendliness influence employee commitment to college goals and encourage innovative behavior in the workplace. This suggests investment in GHRM strategies is important to create a work environment that motivates, builds commitment, and encourages creativity and innovation, improving organizational performance and competitiveness.
