Abstract

This study intends to analyze and determine the determinants of job attachment based on the role of performance appraisal, leadership behavior and innovative behavior. A quantitative approach is used in this research and this descriptive research will collect various information to test hypotheses. The number of samples taken using purposive sampling technique, which is a sampling technique based on certain considerations. The basis of consideration used in determining the number of samples is permanent employees. Based on these considerations, the sample taken was 85 employees. The data collected will be identified with the help of the SPSS version 26 application and the analysis tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. This study concludes that work engagement is significantly influenced by performance appraisal, leadership behavior and innovative behavior. Through a deeper understanding of how work engagement, performance appraisal, leadership behavior and innovative behavior are interrelated, it is hoped that organizations can take strategic steps to improve employee work engagement, and ultimately improve overall performance. This research has the potential to provide valuable insights for human resource practitioners, managers and other stakeholders interested in optimizing their organizational effectiveness

Abstract

Competition in the business world is increasingly fierce, making entrepreneurs look for the right strategy to market their products. This research aims to analyze factors that can improve business performance, namely entrepreneurial behavior, business ethics and social capital. The research method used was ex post facto with a questionnaire given to owners and managers of micro businesses in Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. The collected data was analyzed using the regression method to test the influence of the independent variables, namely entrepreneurial behavior, business ethics and social capital, on the dependent variable, namely micro business performance. The results of the study show that entrepreneurial behavior has a significant positive effect on micro business performance. This shows that being proactive, innovative, and oriented to business opportunities can improve micro business performance. In addition, business ethics also have a significant positive influence on micro business performance, demonstrating the importance of operating with integrity and following ethical principles in running a business. Finally, social capital has also been shown to have a significant positive influence on micro business performance, indicating that social networks and relationships between micro business owners and related parties can increase access to resources and business opportunities

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of competitive advantage and market orientation on a company's business performance. The research method used in this research includes quantitative models. A sample consisting of 75 small business owners in Suranaya City representing their companies filled out the survey using predetermined measurements. Purposive sampling will be used for sampling requirements. The collected data was analyzed using various statistical techniques, including classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between competitive advantage and business performance. Companies that are able to develop competitive advantages in products, services, or costs tend to achieve better financial results than their competitors. Apart from that, market orientation also has a significant positive influence on business performance. Companies that focus more on understanding customers in depth and trying to meet their needs tend to have better business performance.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship leads to economic improvement and social advancement which is really important for the nation. This view as a force that revitalizes the economy and contributes to economic progress. Entrepreneurship in students is an interesting and relevant topic in the current situation of higher insight. Amidst the dynamic changes in the world of work, entrepreneurship has become a highly valued and needed skill. Therefore, the function of students is needed as one of the substantial to implementing entrepreneurial activities. Accordingly, the mission of this survey to recognize the effect of internal locus of control, independence, productive behavior, entrepreneurship education, and the social environment on student entrepreneurial intention. Researchers used descriptive quantitative research design and survey methods. This research is targeted at university students in Surabaya. This study involved 100 respondents and used a purposive sampling method as a data compilation technique. Research data that has been obtained from the questionnaire reactions were evaluated using multiple linear regression. The findings show that the internal locus of control has a significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, it shows a significant influence between independence and productive behavior on entrepreneurial intentions. This also occurs in entrepreneurship education and the social environment has a significant impact on entrepreneurial intention

Abstract

Planning for extended journeys often demands meticulous preparation, which encompasses the careful selection of suitable rest stops en route. This research endeavors to ascertain the influence of location, range of amenities, and the surrounding environment on the decision-making process regarding rest area preferences among operators of the Surabaya Mojokerto toll road. Employing a quantitative methodology, this investigation engaged in the collection of data through a web-based survey involving 120 chosen respondents who are frequent long-distance travelers. The research methodology utilized purposive sampling. The outcomes of the data analysis divulge the pivotal role of location in shaping rest area selections. Elements such as accessibility from primary thoroughfares and the proximity of notable landmarks to these rest areas wield a discernible impact on preference formation. Additionally, the diversity of services proffered within these rest areas significantly influences traveler choices. The availability of dining establishments, relaxation zones, and retail outlets within the rest areas substantially contributes to the overall quality of the restful sojourn. Moreover, the natural environs encircling these rest areas emerge as a noteworthy determinant. The innate charm of the natural landscape and the availability of verdant open spaces bestow an added positive dimension upon the rest areas. Respondents demonstrated a marked inclination toward opting for rest stops that afford captivating natural vistas and an organic ambiance

Abstract

Carrying out exploration based on the influence of academic achievement, business literacy and lifestyle on student intentions to become entrepreneurs is the goal of this research. The students who are the sample are students in the city of Surabaya who are studying at private universities and of course have taken entrepreneurship courses. The technique for taking the sample is accidental. The data analysis will utilize a technique called multiple regression. Data was collected through the use of a questionnaire which included the variables of academic achievement, business literacy, lifestyle and entrepreneurial intentions. The effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable can be evaluated on the basis of multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of his research, several factors that shape student entrepreneurial intentions can be better understood. These findings can be a reference for universities and educational institutions in developing more effective entrepreneurship programs. It is hoped that in the future the number of students interested in becoming entrepreneurs will increase even more because the relationship between academic achievement, business literacy, lifestyle, and entrepreneurial intentions has been well understood.

Abstract

Risk management in global supply chain implementation is very relevant in today's complex business environment. This study reviews strategic approaches to identifying, evaluating, and managing risks in global supply chains. Through a qualitative approach, this study considers risk management concepts, global supply chain strategies, as well as approaches that have been used in related literature. The objectives of this study include risk identification, evaluation methods, geopolitical risk management, operational efficiency, and the role of information technology. The results show that strategic approaches such as supply chain mapping, SWOT analysis and collaboration with suppliers can help identify and manage risks more effectively. Evaluation methods such as probability-impact analysis, HAZOP analysis, and failure tree analysis are used to evaluate risks in global supply chains. Managing risks related to geopolitical uncertainty and regulatory changes involves monitoring the external environment, diversifying supply sources, and collaborating with stakeholders. Implementing a strategic approach has a significant impact on the operational efficiency and sustainability of global supply chains by reducing uncertainty and increasing readiness to face risks. Information and communication technology plays an important role to support the implementation of this strategic approach by facilitating data collection and analysis and increasing the involvement of all stakeholders.

Abstract

Effective time management in the industrial workplace is key to reducing the high levels of stress that workers often face. In a competitive and dynamic industrial environment, good time management can help individuals organize their tasks and responsibilities more efficiently, thereby reducing stress and improving mental and physical well-being. Various time management techniques have been developed and implemented by individuals in the industry to overcome these challenges. This includes prioritizing tasks, using effective time planning, task delegation, setting deadlines, and utilizing technology. However, the effectiveness of these techniques may vary depending on individual preferences, work culture, and the physical environment of the workplace. Additionally, it is important to understand differences in the application of time management techniques between industries, taking into account different job demands, work cultures, and company policies. Implementing appropriate time management techniques can help individuals reduce stress levels and increase productivity, while paying attention to these factors also helps organizations create a more sustainable and competitive work environment.

Abstract

The development of global business has also penetrated the culinary world. Various food manufacturers have marketed their products worldwide. One of the global food brands is Nutella. This breakfast product from Italy has been marketing its products for more than 50 years. To be able to continue to operate in global competition, management needs to increase consumer trust in Nutella products. This study aims to determine the effect of packaging, product variants, and brand equity on consumer trust. The population of this research is all Nutella consumers. Researchers used a research sample of 100 respondents. Research data obtained through questionnaire responses. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The role of the existence of packaging has evidence there is to shape consumer trust. Another finding states that there is a real role given by product variant policies to the formation of consumer trust. Consumer trust has also been shown to be affected by the strength of brand equity. The three independent variables used have been shown to have a significant effect on consumer trust.

Abstract

The community economy in today's era can develop faster if balanced with innovative and creative ideas. Business is the activity of a person or group of people who create goods or services and exchange them for money for personal gain. The method used in the implementation of this community service is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) with the banana chips business as an asset that can be developed. This community service aims to describe the idea of a business opportunity for making kripi (banana chips) to improve the community's economy in Becirongengor Village. The results obtained show that making kripi (banana chips) is able to become one of the innovative ideas to improve the economy of the community in Becirongengor Village and will continue to innovate in terms of taste and market expansion.
