Abstract

The current of education tends is to emphasize improving cognitive abilities aspects of students' their affective and psychomotor aspects. In addition, the activities carried out focus more on the outward aspect than the inner one, so it is feared that it can give birth to people who lack empathy and pay attention to social elements. Whereas educational activities should ideally be able to combine the two elements that exist in students, namely the heart and mind, as well as outwardly and inwardly. Therefore, character education is the core of the education of the Indonesian nation in order to form intelligent, skilled, faithful, pious, and noble human beings. Character building can be carried out through various strategies and approaches, one of which is through the internalization of values ​​contained in the motto of Islamic boarding school education. The results of the study show that the development of Islamic character in SMP IT Al-Fawwaz students can be done through internalizing the values ​​contained in the motto of the modern Islamic boarding school Daarul Huda Balokang Banjar, including: virtuous, healthy, knowledgeable and free-thinking. These activities are carried out routinely in intra-curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which are guided directly by the teacher when the students are in school hours, as well as the ustadz when the students are in the dormitory. The results of this internalization are not only the formation of Islamic character of students, but also an increase in their learning achievement at school. Abstract

Character education has become a hot discourse in the world of Indonesian education, including in institutions of Islamic education. Although the original idea of ​​character is an old idea as old as the history of education, the emergence of the idea of ​​"character building" interrupts our nation, especially those that are closely related to the problems being experienced. Problems that occur such as violence, corruption, manipulation, practices of lies in the world of education ranging from the simplest characters to the biggest ones. Actually everything is inseparable from the character problem. In addition, there are still many generations of our students who sit in school like in educational institutions, definitely really need character education so that in the future they become people who are not only intellectually intelligent but also have good character (good attitude). The world of education is expected to be a driving force in terms of the realization of good character. So in this case it is necessary to implement an appropriate character education system in the world of Islamic education in particular. Character education also has a noble goal, namely to build character and manners in life. Character restrictions fall into two areas. He is believed to exist as a natural human trait, while on the other hand he is believed to be "formed" through education, one of which is through character education in schools. Character education in schools such as the As-Syafi'iyah Islamic High School Pulo Air Sukabumi is also closely related to the management system or school management. Management in question is how character education is planned (planning), implemented (actuating), and controlled (evaluation) in educational activities in schools adequately. Such management includes values ​​that need to be instilled, curriculum content, learning, assessment, educators and education staff or other related components. Thus the purpose of character education will be realized properly if the character education system is good. Because the purpose of character education is to encourage the birth of good children, once they grow up in good character, children will grow up with the capacity and commitment to do the best things and do everything right, and tend to have an effective character education life goal found in a school environment that allows all students to show all their potential to achieve very important goals (Kepennas, 2010:11).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between students' perceptions of professional teacher competence and their learning motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic in PAI subjects in class XII IPA SMAN 5 Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and ex-postfacto research model. While the data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The data analysis uses a statistical approach with four approaches, namely partial analysis, normality test, correlative test, and Pearson's product moment. From the research results obtained: (1) students' perceptions of the professional competence of teachers are included in the high category with an average score of all indicators of the X variable, which is 3.96 which is in the interval 3.51-4.50; (2) their learning motivation in PAI subjects during the covid-19 pandemic was in the very high category with an average score of all Y variable indicators, which was 3.70 which was at an interval of 3.51-4.50; (3) the correlation of the two variables is 0.36, while the degree of freedom of the influence of the X variable on the Y variable is 10%. Thus there are still 90% of other factors that affect their learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kajian terkait landasan teori pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pustaka (library research). Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa kemunculan gagasan “pendidikan karakter “(character building) terjadi karena masalah-masalah yang terjadi seperti kekerasan, korupsi, manipulasi, praktek-praktek kebohongan dalam dunia pendidikan mulai dari menyontek dalam ujian sampai plagiat dan masalah-masalah karakter lainnya. Walaupun sudah terlambat dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter di sekolah, masih banyak generasi kita yakni para peserta didik yang duduk dibangku sekolah dan butuh pendidikan karakter agar di masa depannya menjadi orang yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual tapi juga memiliki karakter. Pendidikan juga untuk membangun budi pekerti dan sopan santun dalam kehidupan. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah sebagai alternatif dengan formula 4M (mengetahui, mencintai, menginginkan dan mengerjakan), juga dengan metode pembiasaan. Selain itu melalui metode mengajarkan, keteladanan, menentukan prioritas dan praksis prioritas.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan model evaluasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran di sekolah ditinjau dari sifat siswa dan teknik evaluasi pembelajaran. Fokus penelitian ini mengenai implementasi dan efektivitas penggunaan model pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Selain itu, pembahasan akan dijabarkan melalui skala efektivitas, persepsi staf, inventarisasi masalah sekolah, evaluasi oleh masyarakat umum, inventarisasi perilaku siswa, portofolio siswa, penilaian pandangan siswa, dan polling pendapat orang tua siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka dan observasi online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model evaluasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran di sekolah berjalan efektif dan dapat diterima oleh siswa di sekolah, dengan demikian pengembangan model evaluasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dapat digunakan sebagai model pendidikan di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas terkait dengan pengembangan model pengelolaan pendidikan karakter di Sekolah. Melalui telaah pemahaman secara tekstual dan kontekstual. Permasalahan yang ada dijawab melalui penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada era globalisasi sekarang ini lemahnya karakter bangsa dirasakan pada tata kehidupan masyarakat yang berubah. Sikap individualisme yang semakin marak menyebabkan berkurangnya rasa kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar karena lebih mementingkan kepentingan pribadi. Sikap tersebut tentunya sangat bertentangan dengan budaya di Indonesia, yang selalu menjunjung tinggi nilai kebersamaan. Bentuk lain dari rusaknya karakter bangs akita adalah menjamurnya sikap Hedonisme. Sikap ini mendorong seseorang melakukan kegiatan yang menghabiskan uang dan waktu untuk berfoya-foya. Dampak serius dari globalisasi lainnya adalah Sekularisme karena memisahkan urusan dunia dengan agama, masyarakat menganggap bahwa urusan agama sebagai ritual yang bertentangan dengan kesenangan dunia. Selanjutnya adalah konsumerisme yakni menggunakan uang demi membeli barang yang tidak diperlukan. Semua ekses negatif tersebut harus diatasi dengan sungguh-sungguh agar masyarakat memiliki kesungguhan dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter dan budaya asli Indonesia. Guna mendapatkan model-model penanaman nilai karakter, kita perlu belajar dari bangsa-bangsa yang telah berhasil membangun karakter yang kuat. Satu di antaranya adalah Bangsa Jepang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas terkait dengan nawa cita sebagai core value pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya. Melalui telaah pemahaman secara tekstual dan kontekstual. Permasalahan yang ada dijawab melalui penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada praktiknya di sekolah, nawa cita diimplementasikan dengan penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) dengan adanya perpres no 87 tahun 2017 dan permendikbud no 20 tahun 2018. Secara Implementasi PPK di sekolah menunjukan variasi yang berbeda-beda yang disesuaikan dengan kearifan lokal satuan pendidikan di sekolah. Kehadiran nawa cita sebagai core value dari kebijakan pemerintah diadaptasikan dengan budaya lokal di lingkungan dimana penguatan pendidikan karakter diterapkan. Kebijakan ini menjadi core value dari kebijakan pemerintah yang dilaksanakan secara struktural untuk mewujudkan pembudayaan pada tri pusat pendidikan: Keluarga, Sekolah dan masyarakat.

Abstract

The decline in the quality of education in Indonesia is inseparable from the decline in quality possessed by educators, especially the shift in the educational paradigm often appears as one of the consequences of the mixing of Western paradigms that enter the world of education, so that the learning process is directed to the success of the logical and empirical thought process. While in the Islamic paradigm, the learning process is directed to think logically, empirically and theologically. This is related to the way the development of quranic learning models carried out by an educator in the classroom. The Ulul Ilmi model has an output to produce student characters that have the character of Ulul Ilmi. This paper aims to implement the Ulul Ilmi model in PAI learning to improve the character of students, which can certainly help realize national education goals. The research methodology used by the author uses a qualitative approach. Research data is taken from the learning process carried out by UPI students through observation, interview, and documentation. The data was then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's theory. Based on the results of the study, the Ulul Ilmi model in PAI learning is implemented following ten learning syntactic using a scientific approach contained in the initial, core and final activities. This model has an impact on improving the quality of educator performance and the quality of the learning process that is more valuable to deliver to the output of the learning process so that the character of Ulul Ilmi is formed. In addition, in its implementation the learning process needs careful readiness that needs to be considered by educators and learners, be it physical readiness, psychic, adequate equipment and learning facilities in order to minimize various inhibitory factors that occur during the implementation of the Ulul Ilmi model in the PAI learning process, because with careful preparedness, the learning process runs in accordance with the learning syntapositions that have been formulated in order to achieving the expected results, in forming the character of students in order to have the character of Ulul Ilmi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe sex education in Islamic religious learning to prevent and overcome deviant behavior at SMAN Cirebon City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: in general, students at SMAN in Cirebon City do not all have sufficient knowledge about sexuality. In addition, many of the students still consider it taboo to talk about sexual education. It is a separate task for educators to explain the concept of sexual education. Do not let students actually get information from sources that cannot be accounted for. In overcoming sexual behavior deviations among students at SMAN in Cirebon City, schools play an important role.
