Abstract

Medical records have a strategic role as legal evidence in the justice system in Indonesia. This document had governed by various regulations, as Law Number 29 Year 2004 on Medical Practice, emphasizes the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of medical records. However, the implementation of using medical records as evidence faces various challenges if medical personnel haven’t legal understanding and the lack of adequate management infrastructure. This study found that violations of medical record confidentiality can be subject to criminal sanctions based on Statute 322 of the KUHP dan administrative sanctions by MKDKI. In the digital era, medical rescord security is becoming an increasingly complex issue that requires adaptive regulations and strengthened security systems. Legal education for medical personnels and the development of technology to support medical record management are indispensable. This research contributes to identifying challenges and opportunities in the utilization of medical records as legal evidence and promoting the protection of patient rights.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities for sustainability-focused human resource development in the industrial era 4.0. Based on the literature analysis, it was found that the main challenges include the lack of integration of sustainability in training programs, resistance to new technologies, and the lack of synergies between the government, private sector, and educational institutions. In addition, the competency gap between industry needs and workforce skills is also a significant obstacle. However, the industrial era 4.0 also creates strategic opportunities to integrate sustainability through technological innovations such as IoT (Internet of Things) and cyber-physical systems, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and the adoption of green human resource management principles. If taking advantage of these opportunities, organizations can improve workforce competencies while supporting long-term sustainability goals. This study provides important insights for policy makers and organizations to design HR training strategies relevant to the industrial era 4.0.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key driver in human resource (HR) development in the modern era. This process involves the integration of digital technologies into all aspects of an organization's operations, which changes the way business is conducted and affects employee skills and competencies. Digital tools and platforms, such as e-learning and mobile applications, have proven effective for improving training accessibility and employee engagement. Digital innovation contributes to sustainability in HR development by creating a more efficient and environmentally friendly training system. Although challenges in the implementation of digital innovations remain, such as resistance to change, the opportunities to improve HR adaptability are immense. In the future, effective leadership and strategies that support continuous learning will be key to managing the changes generated by digital innovation. With the right approach, organizations can harness the full potential of digital transformation to achieve sustainable HR development.

Abstract

Islamic Educational Institutions (IEI) play a vital role in shaping a generation of Muslims capable of navigating global challenges. However, this study identifies persistent issues affecting IEI, including low educational quality, curriculum gaps, limited human resources, and inadequate infrastructure. Social dynamics and evolving expectations of modern society further pressure IEI to remain relevant in the era of globalization. Management weaknesses—such as insufficient leadership capacity, reliance on traditional methods, and limited technological adoption—pose significant obstacles to institutional development. The aim of this research is to analyze strategic approaches for transforming IEI into more competitive and sustainable institutions. Using a literature review method, the study highlights the importance of curriculum reform, educator training, diversified funding, and modern technology integration. It also emphasizes the role of stakeholder engagement in enhancing strategic effectiveness. The findings offer a conceptual foundation to guide future efforts in improving the quality and resilience of Islamic educational institution.

Abstract

Community-based conservation has become an important strategy to preserve the environment and improve the socio-economic welfare of local communities. This research aims to analyze the role of local communities in natural resource management as well as the factors that influence the effectiveness of community-led conservation initiatives. Using a literature review approach, this research evaluates how active community involvement in conservation can improve ecological and economic resilience. The results show that community-based conservation practices, such as forest management and sustainable ecotourism, are able to maintain biodiversity and provide economic benefits to local communities. The integration of traditional knowledge and scientific approaches has been shown to improve the effectiveness of natural resource management. Many challenges remain, including limited resources, lack of legal recognition, and economic pressures that can hinder the sustainability of conservation programs. More supportive policies, such as recognizing community ownership rights to conservation areas and providing economic incentives, are needed to ensure the sustainability of these initiatives. Partnerships between communities, government, non-governmental organizations and the private sector can strengthen communities' capacity to manage natural resources sustainably. With the right support, community-based conservation can be an effective solution to achieve a balance between environmental protection and improved community welfare.

Abstract

This study investigates the evolving structure of the Earth’s social ecosystem by analyzing the intersection between sociological systems and ecological forces in the context of climate disruption. It argues that environmental transformation is not merely a natural occurrence but a socially constructed and politically mediated process. Drawing from literature in environmental sociology, political ecology, and critical theory, the study traces how governance systems, economic models, cultural narratives, and technological infrastructures reinforce environmental degradation while simultaneously shaping social inequality. The analysis highlights how fragmented institutions, market-based ecological approaches, and extractivist logics sustain the conditions that generate climate vulnerability. It also explores how climate-induced displacement, contested environmental discourses, and uneven access to green technologies contribute to the reconfiguration of identity, agency, and justice in a warming world. By integrating theoretical insights from diverse disciplines, the study develops a comprehensive framework to interpret socio-ecological transformation. It emphasizes the need to move beyond disciplinary silos to understand the dynamics that condition both crisis and response. The findings contribute to a growing body of scholarship that advocates for interdisciplinary and critical approaches to environmental inquiry and offers pathways for equitable and resilient futures.

Abstract

The creative industry, particularly the music sector, plays a significant role in Indonesia’s economy by generating employment and national revenue. However, challenges persist in protecting intellectual property rights (IPR) within this industry. This study analyzes the legal protection provided for copyright, trademarks, and patents in Indonesia's music industry, highlighting existing challenges such as piracy, unauthorized use of trademarks, and the neglect of music technology innovations. Despite regulations like Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright, Law No. 20 of 2016 on Trademarks and Geographical Indications, and Law No. 13 of 2016 on Patents, enforcement remains weak due to digital complexities, limited public awareness, and inadequate regulatory harmonization. This research employs a normative-empirical method to evaluate the effectiveness of these laws and identify gaps in their implementation. The findings emphasize the need for reform, including stricter enforcement mechanisms, public education, and enhanced collaboration among stakeholders to create a sustainable and equitable ecosystem for the music industry in the digital age.

Abstract

The development of environmentally friendly products has increasingly become a strategic priority in modern business, driven by the growing consumer awareness of sustainability issues. This study examines the role of cross-functional collaboration between Human Resource Management (HRM) and marketing in supporting the creation of green products that are relevant to consumer needs. The discussion begins by tracing general and specific phenomena, followed by an identification of principal issues such as divergent objectives, communication barriers, resource allocation constraints, cultural resistance, and external pressures that undermine the effectiveness of collaboration. Through a literature review approach, the study reveals that the synergy between HRM and marketing holds significant potential to generate competitive added value. HRM supports this process by developing green competencies, promoting a sustainable work culture, and providing incentives that drive innovation, while marketing contributes through mapping consumer needs and designing market strategies aligned with sustainability trends. However, the success of this synergy depends highly on organization’s preparedness to overcome structural, cultural, and regulatory obstacles. In conclusion, strong cross-functional collaboration is underlined by robust performance indicators, enhanced green workforce competencies, and the strategic alignment of HRM marketing. In turn, such collaboration not only enhances organizational competitiveness but also supports the broader agenda of global sustainability
