Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the school principal as a change leader, the principal's strategy as a change leader, the principal's innovation as a change leader, the factors supporting change, and the factors inhibiting change in the implementation of an independent curriculum. This study uses a qualitative approach. Research informants were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data collection process was carried out by in-depth interviews, documentation studies and field notes. Data analysis was performed with reference to the Miles and Huberman model. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques and increased the persistence of researchers in analyzing the documents they found. The conclusions of this study are: (1) the role of the principal is shown by the implementation of the independent curriculum, driving the learner-centered learning process. and provide independence to work for students and educational staff; (2) the principal's strategy is by identifying cases, conducting interviews, creating good relations, and creating an atmosphere towards students' awareness of the implementation of the independent curriculum; (3) the innovation of the school principal in carrying out P5, entrepreneurship (traditional food bazaar), voting for democracy (election for the OSIS chairman) and building body and soul (religious activities such as the Ramadan Islamic boarding school); (4) Factors supporting the school principal, namely internal factors (infrastructure and leadership of the school principal) and external factors, namely there are already 2 driving force teachers resulting from training organized by the government; (5) Obstacles from internal parties, namely: lack of teacher education, There are teachers who are inconsistent in their implementation, there are teachers who are clueless.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This article describes a comparison of mathematics learning methods between Japan and Indonesia. In Japan, structured and systematic approaches such as Rikai Kansatsu and Kōryū are applied, with an emphasis on observation, deep understanding, and collaborative work in solving mathematical problems. Teachers in Japan also apply problem solving and open ended approaches, which encourage students to think critically, creatively and independently. In addition, the implementation of lesson study as a scientific activity that involves teachers in developing the theory and practice of mathematics learning is a strong foundation for the method in Japan. On the other hand, in Indonesia, there is a shift towards more inclusive and creative learning approaches, such as the Scientific approach and the Concrete Representational Abstract (CRA) approach. Teachers in Indonesia emphasize more on achieving individual and classical student competencies, with a strong orientation towards learning outcomes. Although the concept of lesson study has been implemented in Indonesia, there are still differences in the development of theories and the application of learning methods. Awareness, support, and collaboration among teachers are key to developing and expanding the application of lesson study and improving the quality of mathematics learning in Indonesia. With increased teacher understanding and participation, the potential of lesson study development and implementation in Indonesia can be optimized to improve students' understanding of mathematics and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the literature that discusses the influence of work climate, work culture, and commitment to contracts on teacher performance and conflict management in Islamic elementary schools. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this article identifies research trends, theories used, and factors that contribute to improving teacher performance and conflict management in Islamic educational environments. This article is expected to provide practical recommendations for school administrators in creating a conducive and harmonious work environmen.

Abstract

Abstract Leadership in organizational settings is often conceptualized in terms of the style or pattern of leadership behavior itself. It has been studied in relation to one of the three conceptual distinctions of task/relationship, centralization/decentralization, and power/influence. Although these three underlie most leadership behavior, little has been done to clearly distinguish between them or integrate them into a comprehensive and coherent conception. The purpose of this article is to investigate leadership typologies and their dynamics in organizations and the suitability of typologies relevant to educational institutions. This article uses a literature study method that is useful for exploring and investigating the relevance of leadership typologies in educational institutions. The highlight is the selection of leadership styles and their impact on organizational dynamics. . Keywords: Typology, Leadership, Organization, Organizational Behavior, Leadership Style Abstrak Kepemimpinan dalam lingkungan organisasi sering kali dikonseptualisasikan dalam berbagai hal seperti gaya atau pola perilaku dari kepemimpinan itu sendiri. Hal tersebut telah dipelajari sehubungan dengan salah satu dari tiga perbedaan konseptual yaitu tugas/hubungan, sentralisasi/desentralisasi, dan kekuasaan/pengaruh. Meskipun hal-hal tersebut mendasari sebagian besar perilaku kepemimpinan, namun hanya sedikit yang dilakukan untuk membedakan dengan jelas di antara hal-hal tersebut atau mengintegrasikannya ke dalam konsepsi yang komprehensif dan koheren. Tujuan dari artikel ini sebagai penyelidikan tipologi kepemimpinan dan dinamikanya di organisasi serta kecocokan tipologi yang relevan dengan lembaga pendidikan. Artikel ini melibatkan metode studi literatur yang berguna untuk mendalami dan menyelidiki kerelvanan tipologi kepemimpinan dalam lembaga pendidikan. Abstract

This study aims to find out the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of school principals, curriculum representatives, facilities and infrastructure representatives, teachers and students. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi is carried out in three stages, namely (a) Learning planning is carried out in several activities, namely forming a special team of subject teachers, analyzing learning outcomes, formulating learning objectives, compiling the flow of learning objectives, compiling teaching modules, and planning P5; (b) The implementation of learning consists of preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities; (c) Assessment of learning using formative assessment and summative assessment. Factors that support the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi are the principal, teacher competence, student activity, commitment from school residents, facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the factors that hinder the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi are teachers' understanding of the concept of the independent curriculum that is not yet complete, limited time in implementing differentiated learning and student learning readiness

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana kurikulum MBKM diterapkan pada mata kuliah Kriya Keramik Dasar, Program Studi Seni Rupa Universitas Negeri Padang. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali relevansi kurikulum berbasis proyek, kolaborasi industri, dan integrasi teknologi dengan pengembangan keterampilan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum ini berhasil menciptakan pembelajaran yang aplikatif dan relevan. Mahasiswa tidak hanya menguasai keterampilan teknis seperti teknik keramik tradisional, tetapi juga mampu menghasilkan karya inovatif yang berkontribusi pada pelestarian budaya lokal. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan mitra industri dan minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi canggih perlu diatasi melalui penguatan infrastruktur dan perluasan kerja sama. Dengan demikian, kurikulum MBKM mampu mencetak lulusan yang kompeten dan kreatif serta relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Pembelajaran literasi numerasi menjadi salah satu bagian pokok dari kurikulum merdeka dan sebagai bekal keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa SD. Namun, dilapangan ditemukan data rendahnya literasi numerasi siswa berdasarkan AKM. Maka melalui pendekatan user requirement perlu dilaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan kemampuan literasi numerasi kepada guru SD untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi guru yang dilaksanakan dengan berbasis digital. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru tentang literasi numerasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bagi seluruh guru SD Negeri di Kec. Lareh Sago Halaban, dengan jumlah peserta 35 orang yang merupakan perwakilan dari masing-masing sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terselenggara dengan baik. Peserta antusias dalam setiap aktivitas. Peserta pun menyatakan bahwa mereka mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan dan wawasan baru dengan adanya kegiatan pelatihan ini. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat respon positif peserta terhadap pelatihan dimana persentase capaian tentang efektivitas pelaksanaan pelatihan adalah 90,63%. Dari aspek kemampuan peserta pelatihan, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan peserta dari 80,58% menjadi 89.09%.

Abstract

The students' difficulty understanding lecture material is due to the lack of learning media that can help students learn independently. This study aims to develop a learning video tutorial based on the Screencastify screen record. This type of research is developmental research. The development model used is the Plomp development model. The development of the learning model is divided into three stages, namely the initial research, the prototype production, and the model assessment stage. The technique of collecting data in this research is observation and interview. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out to know the feasibility or validity of the product being developed. Media testing uses expert judgment. The validity measurement uses the Likert scale. The results of the validity and practicality of the validators were carried out by using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) test using the SPSS program. The results showed that the educational statistics tutorial videos were classified as valid for all categories and very practical, with a score of 85.5 based on students' answers as respondents. It can be concluded that the learning video developed is valid so that it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the results of the analysis regarding lecturer competence in practical learning at universities in the health sector. Lecturer competence is the variable studied with indicators including pedagogical competence, personality competence, social and professional competence. The method used in this research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The data collection technique uses primary data from a sample of 50 students with a sampling technique using cluster sampling. Data collection uses instruments that have passed the validity and reliability process. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this research indicate that overall, the average lecturer competency of all indicators is categorized as adequate with a score of 2.94 and an achievement level of 73.60. Only one of the four lecturer competency indicators, namely personality competency, received good criteria, while the other three received sufficient categories.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's observations regarding the problem of low employee performance at the Office of Education and Culture of the City which shows that organizational culture and incentives are still not in accordance with what is expected and employee performance is still not optimal. The purpose of this study was to analyze positive influence of organizational culture and the provision of incentives on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of the City. This research is a correlational quantitative research with associative type. The population in this study was all employees at the Office of Education and Culture of the City totaling 90 employees and the sample was determined using the Cohran formula with an error rate of 10% with the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique obtained 63 employees. The research instrument uses a questionnaire with a Liker scale which has 5 alternative answers. Before the questionnaire was used, trials were carried out to determine its validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques were performed using multiple linear regression tests which were processed using SPSS version 24. The results of the data analysis show that there is a significant influence between organizational culture and the provision of incentives jointly on employee performance. So the multiple linear regression equation used is 32.864+0.324X1+0.427X2+e. In the determination coefficient test, the gain is r² = 0.613 which shows that the determination of the organizational culture variable and the provision of incentives on employee performance is 61.3%.
