Abstract

The entrepreneurship mentoring program for retired Indonesian Workers (TKI) in Ringinrejo District, Kediri Regency, is designed to empower participants returning from abroad to adapt and develop economic independence. Through a holistic approach, the program includes socialization, entrepreneurial skills training, mentoring, and access to financing sources. The results of the implementation showed that participants successfully prepared a business plan and started a business, both in the culinary sector and other businesses, based on their experience and skills. Interaction between participants forms a social network that supports, strengthens confidence, and creates a collaborative environment. Additionally, participant involvement in the program evaluation process provides valuable insights for continuous improvement. The positive impact of this program is not only seen in improving the skills of individual entrepreneurs, but also in the creation of jobs and strengthening the local economy. With steps forward that include broader product marketing and good financial management, it is hoped that this success can be sustainable and become an inspiration for the next generation of retired migrant workers

Abstract

Character education is very important in building human resources (HR), because good and bad characters are closely related to a person's education. All parties (family, society, and government) must realize that character emerges from the world of education. Therefore, character education must begin early, namely elementary school (SD) and middle school (SMP). In character education, strategies and materials are needed that must be taught to students. From the strategy, it is hoped that students can easily absorb the material, and the character material learned can be applied in their daily lives. This study aims to describe the actual concept related to the instillation of character education values among students. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and types, data obtained from books and articles are systematically analyzed according to the topics of discussion. Then presented, conclusions are made and verified. Primary and secondary data are described according to the formulated systematics, so that the problems discussed can be understood into a complete concept. The strategies for instilling character education values for elementary and middle school students are: Incorporating character education into all subjects at school, Creating slogans or cheers that can foster habits for all school communities to behave well, getting used to positive behavior among school residents, and conducting continuous monitoring, giving prizes to students who always have good character. The character education values that must be instilled for elementary and middle school students are Religious, Honest, Tolerant, Disciplined, Hard Work, Creative, Independent, Democratic, Curiosity, National Spirit, Love for the Country, Appreciating Achievement, Friendly/Communicative, Love Peace, Love Reading, Care for the Environment, Care for Social and Responsible

Abstract

In social life, interactions between people are strongly influenced by the ability to understand and feel the conditions of others. Empathy and social sensitivity are two important factors that contribute to the emergence of prosocial behavior. This study aims to analyze prosocial behavior in students of SMAN 1 Gambut. This research uses a quantitative approach with a type of contribution research. Data collection tools using Likert Scale questionnaires, namely empathy, social sensitivity, and prosocial, were used to obtain a sample of 228 using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The results of this study are, there is a significant influence for the contribution of X1 on Y, is 0.000 <0.05, and the value of fcount 807.174> Ftable 2.843. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means (X1) and social sensitivity (X2) contribute to prosocial behavior (Y). The conclusion and this study is that empathy and social sensitivity have contributed to prosocial behavior. Furthermore, it is recommended that future researchers analyze factors that influence prosocial behavior other than empathy and social sensitivity. _____________________________________________________________Dalam kehidupan sosial, interaksi antar manusia sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan untuk memahami dan merasakan kondisi orang lain. Empati dan kepekaan sosial merupakan dua faktor penting yang berkontribusi terhadap munculnya perilaku prososial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kontribusi empati dan kepekaan sosial terhadap perilaku prososial pada siswa SMAN 1 Gambut. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kontribusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kontribusi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket berbasis skala Likert untuk mengukur empati, kepekaan sosial, dan perilaku prososial. Sampel sebanyak 228 siswa diperoleh melalui teknik proportionate stratified sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara empati (X1) dan kepekaan sosial (X2) terhadap perilaku prososial (Y), dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05) dan Fhitung 807,174 (> Ftabel 2,834), dengan nilai koefisien kontribusi 87,8% yaitu kontribusi Empati (X1) dan Kepekaan Sosial (X2) terhadap Perilaku Prososial(Y). Empati dan kepekaan sosial secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap perilaku prososial siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya mengembangkan empati dan kepekaan sosial dalamlingkungan pendidikan.Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku prososial.

Abstract

To realize the driving of teachers as planned by the government, it cannot be separated from various forms of professional competence that must be mastered as teachers’ identity. However, the identity, which is the qualification standard, is not evenly shared by Arabic language teachers, especially in several districts in the Kalimantan region. Therefore, this research aims to describe the identity of Arabic teachers as driving teacher resources in Arabic language learning to become driving teacher figures in the Kalimantan Region. This research uses a mixed method, combining qualitative and quantitative methods using a concurrent triangulation design. The research results show that the identity of Arabic teachers in Central Kalimantan is formed from their experiences so far, which require them to do more even though some do not have a non-Arabic language educational background. The emotional aspect of Arabic teachers who teach the Arabic language used in the Al-Quran and hadith fosters the teacher's enthusiasm to become a motivator, inspiration, and facilitator who always looks for solutions to problems in learning Arabic. Even though the teachers are located in the regions, this does not reduce the teachers' identity as teachers with pedagogical, social, personal, and professional competencies. Individuals who play the role of teachers always learn continuously throughout life and have the moral, emotional, and spiritual maturity to behave according to a code of ethics: planning, implementing, reflecting, and evaluating learning. This research recommends exploring the identity of Arabic teachers not only at the regional level but also at the national level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara pola asuh orangtua dan perkembangan akhlak remaja dalam konteks masyarakat kontemporer yang sedang mengalami transformasi nilai secara cepat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif-deskriptif yang diperkaya oleh pembacaan filosofis dan sosiologis, studi ini dilakukan di Kampung Sido Makmur Km.13, Kota Tanjungpinang, melibatkan 71 responden remaja dan orangtua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh orangtua secara umum tergolong sangat baik, dengan kecenderungan dominan pada pola asuh demokratis (84,2%). Perkembangan akhlak remaja juga menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik (84,0%). Korelasi antara pola asuh dan perkembangan akhlak sangat tinggi, dengan nilai r = 0,997 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 97,4%. Namun demikian, pembacaan terhadap data ini tidak berhenti pada angka statistik semata. Dalam perspektif Michel Foucault, pola asuh dipahami sebagai praktik mikro-kuasa yang membentuk subjek moral melalui relasi antara disiplin dan kebebasan. Sementara itu, dalam pandangan Pierre Bourdieu, remaja hidup dalam arena sosial yang membentuk habitus baru yang seringkali tidak selaras dengan nilai-nilai keluarga. Konteks modernitas cair (liquid modernity) ala Zygmunt Bauman mempertegas bahwa krisis akhlak remaja tidak bisa dilepaskan dari longgarnya struktur nilai dalam masyarakat digital saat ini. Dengan demikian, pola asuh demokratis menjadi penting bukan hanya sebagai pendekatan pedagogis, tetapi sebagai strategi etis dalam merawat moralitas remaja di tengah arus perubahan sosial yang cepat dan cair.

Abstract

In the midst of the current pandemic, online learning is the main choice in the world of education. However, there was a wide range of student responses to the learning process. Furthermore, it is known that the perception of students towards learning submitted by influential lecturers to generate interest in learning students in understanding the materials provided. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to obtain concrete information about: 1) how students perceive the competence of lecturers in applying online learning; 2) how to motivate students to excel during online learning; and 3) is there any influence of student perception on the competence of lecturers with the motivation of student achievement. This research uses a combination research design and its data collection method, namely survey by providing questionnaire questionnaire link with googleform. The subjects of the study were 274 students of the even semester of the academic year 2019/2020 at Bina Bangsa University who responded to the poll. The conclusion is that the perception of students is very diverse towards the competence of lecturers in applying online learning, as well as the motivation of student achievement. Although the percentage of incline is positive, not a few have responded negatively. Furthermore, it is known that there is a significant and moderate influence between the perception of students towards the competence of lecturers and the motivation of student achievement. In other words, if the student's perception of lecturer's competence increases, it will be accompanied by increased motivation for student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which financial literacy affects the financial management behavior of MSME actors in DKI Jakarta, by considering the role of attitudes towards financial risk and the use of financial technology as mediating variables. The background of this study comes from the fact that there are still many MSME players who are not able to manage their finances optimally, even though access to information and digital financial services is quite widespread. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 156 individual business owners and analyzed through the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that financial literacy did not have a significant direct effect on financial management behavior. However, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial risk attitudes and financial technology. These two variables directly influence financial management behavior, and act as mediators in the relationship between financial literacy and financial management behavior. These findings emphasize the importance of a financial literacy approach that not only focuses on increasing knowledge, but also includes the formation of rational risk attitudes and the practical use of financial technology. This kind of literacy strategy is considered more relevant and effective in improving the financial management of MSME actors, especially in the current digital era.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan perangkat desa dalam pengelolaan arsip dan administrasi persuratan di Kantor Desa Sei Litur Tasik Kecamatan Sawit Seberang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriftif dengan pendekatan kualitatif Adapun teknik analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan administrasi kearsipan sangat penting dalam menunjang berbagai kegiatan pelayanan di Kantor Desa Sei Litur Tasik Kecamatan Sawit Seberang. Pengelolaan arsip yang baik, mulai dari kerapihan penyimpanan, keterampilan petugas, hingga keamanan dokumen, dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, keamanan, transparansi, dan kualitas pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Selain itu, pentingnya peran serta masyarakat dalam pengelolaan arsip juga menjadi perhatian penting agar warisan arsip tetap terpelihara dan tidak hilang karena kurangnya pemahaman pengelolaan. Dengan demikian, pengelolaan arsip yang optimal akan mendukung kelangsungan dan keberhasilan kegiatan pemerintahan desa serta meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, anggaran, dan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengelolaan arsip yang benar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya terus-menerus dan peningkatan kapasitas petugas serta partisipasi masyarakat agar pengelolaan arsip dapat berjalan optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study systematically reviews behavioral factors contributing to indebtedness, analyzing 60 articles from Scopus, Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Web of Science databases using the PRISMA framework. Key findings identify low financial literacy, materialism, negative emotions, risk perception, consumer behavior, and behavioral biases (such as overconfidence) as key drivers. Demographic and socioeconomic factors act as moderators, and over-indebtedness is negatively associated with health and well-being. It concludes that indebtedness is a complex interaction of cognitive, affective, and dispositional dimensions, and effective interventions must be multifaceted, encompassing education and mitigation of maladaptive behaviors for sustainable financial well-being.

Abstract

The problem in this study is to evaluate the improvement of students' geometry skills using the GeoGebra application by focusing on two key indicators: logical thinking and drawing skills. This study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods. In the first stage, quantitative data were collected through pretests and posttests to measure student geometry skill changes. In the second stage, qualitative methods were used to explore and validate the quantitative findings through geometry skill tasks and interviews. The research subjects were second-semester mathematics education students at Bina Bangsa University, selected using purposive sampling. The findings reveal that students who engaged in geometry learning with GeoGebra experienced significant improvement in both logical reasoning and geometric drawing skills. Students became better at visualizing geometric problems, constructing geometric figures accurately, and connecting visual information to logical reasoning processes. GeoGebra improved students’ ability to identify patterns, perform deductions, draw conclusions, and visually communicate geometric ideas. It is recommended that GeoGebra be complemented with mathematical writing and drawing activities in geometry instruction to strengthen further the logical and visual dimensions of students’ geometric thinking.
