Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to find the final model of Civil Servant (PNS) entrepreneurship education and training (DIKLAT) management based on Achievement Motivation Training (PMB) which is suitable to be applied in the Human Resource Development Board of Central Java Province. This research employed a research and development (R & D) method. The ten (10) steps contained in the method were modified into three, namely the preliminary stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage. The data source was civil servants who were attending the education and training program in the Human Resource Development Board of Central Java Province. Data were drawn from the respondents through interviews, open and closed questionnaires, observations, as well as pre and post test. The data were validated using validity and reliability tests. The effectiveness of the model was assessed using pre and post tests. The result of this research shows that the civil servant entrepreneurship education and training management model based on achievement motivation training is feasible to be applied in Regional Human Resources Development Board of Central Java Province. The effectiveness of the model is proven by the pre and post test results showing that it improves the need for achievement/n-Ach) from 5.27 to 8.10, the need for affiliation/n-Aff from 1.80 to 2.00, and the need for power/n-Pow motive from 4.63 to 5.27; there is an increase of each from medium to high category.

Abstract

The increase in people’s prosperity and education level create a change on their view about education and the need for it. Consequently, they choose an education institution in a more selective consideration. Schools under Ma’arif institution in Semarang regency faced some difficulties as the impact. They had negative students growth values in the last three years before the research was conducted. In order to survive, institution's management strategy needed to be evaluated. This research examined the interface between culture and school, with specific reference to branding. The purpose of this research was to develop a cultural branding model for junior high schools under Ma’arif institution. Therefore, it includes research and development (R&D) systematic activities. This study was carried out on a premise that creating a bond between a school and its community by adopting the community’s culture in a formal education setting will help the school to gain certain positioning in their community. After a limited implementation on a Ma’arif’s school, the pilot project school underwent a significant increase in a number of new students. The analysis on the fact resulted in a conclusion that implementation of cultural increase community’s love, emotional attachment, and loyalty to the school. The study also suggested applying the model in a wider scope, at least in regency area as it is only implemented in a school as a pilot project. Applying the model in the different type of schools in wider scope will add the worthy value and benefit of the model.

Abstract

The limitations and difficulties of finding professional counseling teachers with adequate competencies for the elementary school still hamper the effort of developing the counseling service program at school. 130,000 counseling teachers are still needed in junior and senior high school/equivalent, excluding the needs of counseling teachers in elementary school/equivalent. The availability of counseling teachers is far from ideal, there should be an action as a solution from the government and schools demanding that a number of schools are able to develop mechanisms related to service management and procurement of counseling teachers. Therefore, this study offers a solution through a product in the form of a guidebook resulted from of a research and development based on the standard model in the service implementation and guidance at elementary school. This research and development (R & D) study employed Borg and Gall design as well as a model design that adapts the development of McKenny. This study includes 10 procedures introduced by Borg and Gall which were modified into three stages: (1) preliminary study; (2) design development; (3) final product testing. The results show: (1) preliminary study found that the form of counseling service management model in elementary school has weaknesses, i.e. the implementation has not been referring to the principle of counseling service comprehensively, the involvement of stakeholders has not yet been maximal, the implementation was just remedial-curative and inclusive along with the learning activities. Most primary schools have not had counseling teachers yet, and there was no evaluation as feedback from the stakeholders; (2) the design development resulted in an Executive, Copa, Motiva (ECM) model as practical solution in counseling service in elementary school; (3) the final product of counseling service management has five management functions: planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and reporting. The five management functions in the counseling services in elementary school are used as a standard guideline for preparing the guidebooks produced from this study.

Abstract

The background of this research is an emerging problem in the field of education in Indonesia. One of the problems is the occurrence of moral irregularities among students which results in the moral decline of the nation. At the level of early childhood education, character education is a way that can be implemented to overcome these problems. One way is to implement various traditional games. This study aims to explain the implementation of character education based on traditional games, the process of internalizing character values based on traditional games, and the possibility of applying traditional games as a character education model. This is a qualitative research conducted in three Kindergartens IN Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta; each with a background of Islam, State and Christianity. The primary data of this study were sourced from the results of interviews with informants. The secondary data were in the form of policies, values, school views, and parents functioning further to strengthen the data and as a means of character education configuration based on traditional games in the context of micro systems. The data were analyzed through several stages, namely (1) display of observation and interview results; (2) sorting out observations and interviews; (3) discovery of contrasting or negative elements. The results of this study show that (1) The implementation of character education based on traditional games in the three kindergartens is different from one another; (2) character values are internalized through several traditional games, namely gobag sodor, cublak-cublak suweng, dakon, jamuran, and engklek or sundamanda; (3) Character education based on workable traditional games becomes a character education model in kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the factual management model of teacher competency improvement focusing on instructional planning, to describe the design of the management model of teacher competency improvement by utilizing online networks, and to know the validity of the management model. This research implemented a Research and Development (R & D) approach. As the focus of this study, the development of the model is in accordance with the theory of a product-oriented model. The products of this study are in accordance with the characteristics and analysis of the needs of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The products are regulated through a needs analysis process that meets the needs of the PAI teachers. The products are lesson plans (RPP) to be shared with colleagues. The results of the needs analysis show the importance of online tools in the improvement of the RPP. The management model of teacher competency improvement utilizes online networks using feasibility analysis, guideline preparation, user manuals, and readability tests that show positive responses from experts and users for the development of this model. The development of this model is seen as valid both from the descriptive aspects of the program and the expert analysis. The design of the teacher competency improvement training is deemed feasible to be developed for the benefit of the PAI teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a patient-safety-based Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) education model to improve the competence of the Specialist-1 of Child Health Medical Education Program (PPDS I) doctors of Child Health Medical Science in Dr. Kariadi Central Hospital, Medical School, Diponegoro University and the students in the nursing profession program. This study was designed using the Research and Development approach. The data of this study were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The steps of developing the model in this study include (1) preliminary analysis; (2) findings of factual models; (3) development of conceptual models; (4) development of a hypothetical model; (5) final model development. The results of the study show that PPDS I of Child Health at Dr. Kariadi Central Hospital has not implemented the IPC based on safety. The model of safety-based IPC is based on four main indicators, namely (1) Interprofessional Collaborative Competence; (2) Competency of Pediatricians & Nurses; (3) Interprofessional Learning Readiness Scale; (4) Scale of Interprofessional Team Performance. The results of the trials of the interprofessional collaboration education model developed have been able to increase the competence of PPDS I doctors 45.61% and 20.68% in students of the nursing profession program (nurses). The increaseof the competence and professionalism of PPDS I doctors and nurses is also based on moral principles and ethical codes that are actualized as noble attitudes and sincerity. It is suggested that the implementation of the developed patient-safety-based interprofessional collaboration education model needs to be supported by policies or regulations by related parties in order to improve the effectiveness of the specialist medical education programs and nursing professional education programs (Ners).

Abstract

Kerancuan dan kesalahan dalam menafsirkan ayat Alquran sering kali terjadi ketika seseorang tidak memahami kaidah-kaidahnya. Kaidah-kaidah tafsir adalah seperangkat aturan atau rambu-rambu yang menjadi pedoman seseorang dalam menafsirkan Alquran. Aturan-aturan inilah yang diambil langsung para sahabat dari Nabi Muhammad di dalam menafsirkan Alquran sehingga kualitas tafsirnya mereka menjadi rujukan. Meskipun kaidah ini pada awalnya tidak tertulis dan terbukukan, namun hal ini sudah menjadi metode yang populer di kalangan mufasir. Penelitian ini membahas kaidah-kaidah tafsir secara historis dan perbedaannya dengan ilmu tafsir dan Ulumul Qur’an. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji tentang aplikasi kaidah-kaidah tafsir dalam penafsiran ayat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kaidah tafsir awalnya bukanlah diskursus ilmu tersendiri namun menyatu dengan ilmu tafsir dan ‘Ulumul Qur’an. Setelah berkembang, barulah kemudian menjadi disiplin ilmu tersendiri. Kaidah-kaidah tafsir sendiri bentuknya sangat beragam.  Ada kaidah-kaidah asasi dan kaidah-kaidah utama yang berkaitan dengan beragam ilmu yang linear dengan penafsiran Alquran. Memahami kaidah-kaidah tafsir akan menghindarkan dari kerancuan dan kesalahan dalam menafsirkan ayat serta mengantarkan penafsir memahami maksud Allah di dalam Alquran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a direct and indirect influence on exogenous variables, namely leadership and organizational commitment to endogenous variables, namely the application of internal quality assurance systems in state universities with organizational culture as an intervening variable. This research used quantitative approach and the analysis tools is path analysis. Population of this study included 340 lecturers at three state universities in Ambon and the sample size was 221 respondents.  The results of the study prove that organizational culture plays an important role in mediating and contributing to leadership and organizational commitment to the implementation of the internal quality assurance system in higher education. Leadership and organizational commitment require an organizational culture to build communication and motivation through expectations and academic values that develop in a healthy, creative, innovative and dynamic manner because it can encourage collaboration and synergy of all elements of higher education to achieve the set quality standards.

Abstract

Providing students with competency is one of the challenge of 21st Century learning. The competencies include critical thinking and problem solving skills, communication and collaboration, creativity and innovation, as well as information literacy and technology media. This study aims to analyze the implementation of 21st century learning and the achievement of competencies of junior high school students who are in the frontier, outermost, and least developed areas of Melawi Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The method of this study was descriptive-analytic qualitative with the type of the research was case study. The results shows that the implementation of 21st century learning at Junior High School in the 3T area shows a moderate or medium category. The scores for each indicator are: planning (70.4%), learning implementation (73.4%), and assessment and evaluation (70.8%). The achievement of the 21st century competence of students gets medium category. The scores for each indicator are: critical thinking and problem solving skills (54%), communication skills (73%), collaboration skills (70%), creativity and innovation (48%), and information and media literacy (60%). The implication of this research is for the prospective teachers or new teachers who work in the 3T area. So that, they would know the conditions and prepare various strategies and learning approaches to apply based on the local conditions in improving students’ competency.

Merek adalah hak khusus yang diberikan Negara kepada pemilik merek terdaftar, yang  memiliki fungsi sebagai tanda pengenal barang atau jasa, yang dapat membedakan barang atau jasa yang satu dengan barang atau jasa yang lain. Selain itu juga berfungsi bagi Produsen, Pedagang dan Konsumen. Dalam faktanya ada pelanggaran merek dimana si pelanggar ingin membonceng merek terdaftar dengan tujuan mendapatkan keuntungan. Hal ini yang menjadi dasar bagi penulis untuk membuat penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelanggaran adalah sebuah persaingan yang curang dan tidak jujur dan bertentangan dengan Undang-Undang Anti monopoli dan Persaingan Tidak Sehat. Pelanggaran merek (pemalsuan merek) adalah perbuatan melawan hukum dan persaingan curang karena merugikan pihak lain yang memenuhi unsur Pasal 1365 KUHPerdata menimbulkan keruigian dan bertentangan dengan Undang Undang Anti Monopoli dan Persaingan Tidak Sehat.
