Abstract

This study aims to evaluate how effective moral guidance is given to troubled adolescents at the Center for Social Protection and Rehabilitation of Adolescents (BPRSR) Yogyakarta. This study uses a field study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of heads of institutions, social workers, psychologists, and counselors who all have direct experience in the process of social rehabilitation of adolescents. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the triangulation method and was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the moral guidance program at BPRSR had a positive impact on adolescents in several main aspects, namely: changes in behavior towards a more positive direction, increased self-awareness and discipline, and internalization of moral values ​​such as responsibility, honesty, and empathy. This guidance process is carried out through religious activities, individual and group counseling, skills training, and a holistic psychosocial approach. However, challenges are still found, especially in terms of the lack of support from families which causes some adolescents to experience difficulties when returning to their original environment. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of stronger synergy between institutions, families, and communities to ensure the sustainability of the moral rehabilitation process more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the distance where students live in their active participation in social studies subjects in Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kasimbar Kec. Kasimbar Kab. Parigi Mautong. This study uses a quantitative approach Expo facto. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire) and sampling using the Slovin formula (Stratifite Random Sampling) while the sample used in this study was 60 students of class VII.) The technique of Simple Linear Regression Analysis. The results show that the effect of the distance from which students live on their active participation in social studies subjects can be seen from the statistical test results obtained t_count > t_table or 28,229>2,001, this means that the distance from which they live (X) has a significant effect on their active participation in subjects Social Studies (Y) with a large influence of 0.428 or 43% based on this result the distance of the students' residence to their active participation in Social Studies subjects in Class VII SMP Negeri I Kasimbar Kec. Kasimbar Kab. Parigi Mautong is quite high. The implication of the research is that teachers are expected to be able to try to maintain and increase the learning activity of students in social studies subjects in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kasimbar

Abstract

ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan untuk m. Dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kasus, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasilnya, bahwa orang tua memiliki peran sentral dalam membangun kesadaran tauhid pada anak autis melalui pendekatan konsisten dan adaptif. Kedua pendekatan tersebut terbukti mampu memperbaiki kondisi emosional anak autis. Adapun strategi bimbingan orang tua dengan cara pembiasaan seperti memperdengarkan murottal, mengontrol emosi dengan dzikir, serta membangun rutinitas keagamaan yang sederhana telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman tauhid serta kontrol emosi mereka. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembentukan tauhid pada anak autis membutuhkan pendekatan berbasis kasih sayang, pemahaman mendalam terhadap kebutuhan anak, dan kolaborasi dengan profesional. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi orang tua, pendidik, dan masyarakat dalam mendukung perkembangan spiritual anak autis dengan cara yang efektif dan manusiawi. Kata Kunci: Anak autis; Bimbingan orang tua; Tauhid ABSTRACT This article examines parental guidance strategies for shaping personality through tawhid-based instruction in children with mild autism spectrum disorder. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study design, data were collected through interviews and observations. The findings indicate that parents play a central role in cultivating tawhid awareness in autistic children by employing consistent and adaptive approaches, both of which effectively enhance the children’s emotional well-being. Specifically, parental strategies—such as habituation to murottal (Qur’anic recitation), emotional regulation via dhikr (remembrance of God), and the establishment of simple religious routines—have positively influenced the children’s understanding of tawhid and their capacity for emotional control. This study confirms that nurturing monotheistic values in children with autism requires a compassion-based approach, a deep understanding of each child’s needs, and collaboration with professionals. It is hoped that these findings will guide parents, educators, and communities in supporting the spiritual development of autistic children in an effective and humane manner. Abstract

Hypertension is one of the degenerative diseases that is often experienced by the elderly and can cause serious complications such as stroke and heart disease. Non-pharmacological treatments such as ergonomic gymnastics and spiritual therapy through murottal Al-Qur'an can be an alternative to help lower blood pressure. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of ergonomic gymnastics and murottal Surah Ar-Rahman on lowering blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension. The research design used was one group pre-posttest design. The sample consisted of 36 elderly with hypertension. The intervention carried out was ergonomic gymnastics while listening to murottal Surah Ar-Rahman for 30 minutes, three times a week for four weeks (January 9-February 9, 2025). Blood pressure measurements were taken before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure (p <0.000). The combination of gymnastics and murottal is effective in lowering blood pressure in elderly hypertensive patients. This intervention can be used as a holistic and religious complementary therapy option in the care of the elderly with hypertension

Abstract

Hypertension is a major public health issue that increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and premature death. This study aims to analyze the risk factors associated with the incidence of hypertension at Sekip Public Health Center (Puskesmas Sekip) in Palembang. This research employed a quantitative approach using an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional design, conducted from January 9 to February 9, 2025. Data were analyzed using non-parametric statistical tests (chi-square). The results showed that only age had a significant relationship with diastolic blood pressure (p=0.011), while there was no significant association between age and systolic blood pressure (p=1.000). Other factors, including body weight status, smoking history, diabetes history, hereditary disease history, stress history, regular eating patterns, and physical activity, showed no significant association with either systolic or diastolic blood pressure (all p-values > 0.05). In conclusion, among all analyzed risk factors, only age was found to significantly influence one component of blood pressure in hypertensive patients, specifically diastolic pressure.

Abstract

Background: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) remain the leading cause of mortality globally and in Indonesia. To address this, Indonesia introduced the Posbindu PTM (Integrated Service Posts for NCDs), a community-based program that relies heavily on volunteer health cadres. This study explores the lived experiences, roles, and challenges faced by these cadres in Banda Aceh. Methods: A qualitative phenomenological approach was used. Twelve female health cadres from Ulee Kareng Health Center were selected using purposive sampling. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in January 2025. Thematic analysis using the Miles and Huberman model revealed two overarching themes and five subthemes, including personal empowerment, logistical constraints, low public participation, and digital limitations. Results: Health cadres reported increased knowledge and confidence in health promotion, but faced critical barriers such as infrastructure limitations, insufficient financial incentives, and community reluctance. Differences in perspectives emerged based on years of service. Notably, cadres with longer tenure (more than five years) expressed greater confidence and skill in engaging the community compared to newer cadres. Conclusion: While cadres derive personal growth and community recognition, system-level changes are essential for program sustainability. Policy recommendations include better government support, consistent training, stakeholder engagement, and adequate resources.

Abstract

A recent report highlighted cases of contamination in children's cough syrup containing diethylene glycol, which poses potential health risks for children. This study aims to identify the presence of diethylene glycol in various children's cough syrups sold in Makassar City using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and FT-IR Spectroscopy methods. A total of 9 samples of children's cough syrup from three different brands, each originating from three batches, were analyzed in this study. The TLC analysis results showed significant differences between the samples and the standard. The Rf values of the samples ranged from 0.72 to 0.85, while the Rf value of the diethylene glycol standard was recorded at 0.41. Additionally, FT-IR analysis, based on the wave numbers and intensity of the spectra, indicated that the sample spectra did not match those of the diethylene glycol standard. Based on the evaluation of all children's cough syrup samples using these two methods, no profiles consistent with the characteristics of diethylene glycol were detected.

Abstract

Air Susu Ibu (ASI) adalah suatu emulsi lemak dalam larutan protein, lactose, dan garam-garam organik yang disekresi oleh kedua belah kelenjar payudara ibu sebagai makanan utama bagi bayi. Pemberian ASI pada bayi dianjurkan untuk diberikan dalam jangka waktu 6 bulan secara eksklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu dan dukungan keluarga terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mowila Kec. Mowila Kab. Konawe Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik  dengan menggunakan desain Cross Sectional Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi 0 – 6 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mowila Kec. Mowila Kab. Konawe selatan yaitu 156 orang ibu. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling yang berjumlah 61 orang. Data dianalisa secara univariat dan bivariat dan diolah dengan menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square Tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan pengetahuan ( p value = 0,011) dan dukungan keluarga (p value = 0,01) dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mowila Kec. Mowila Kab Konawe Selatan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dan dukungan keluarga terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mowila Kec. Mowila Kab. Konawe Selatan.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the rationale behind Turkey's ban on polygamy, the implications of the prohibition as well as the contradiction with Islamic family regulations. The study uses a qualitative methodology to examine the development of Turkish family law by applying both normative and historical approaches. The results show that the political and legal reforms carried out in 1926 under Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's rule are the source of Turkey's ban on polygamy and unfair treatment of women during the Ottoman Turkish era. Islamic law, which permits polygamy on reasonable grounds and limits it to four spouses, is in conflict with the ban on polygamy in Turki. The implications include the change of the principle marriage law to monogamy, the rise in illegal polygamy that leads to the disregard of the rights of wives and children, social deviations, changes in lifestyle, and injustice for couples who have certain conditions, like infertility or illness, that polygamy should be used to solution but are prohibited by the state.

The theoretical references used are the theory of legal protection and the theory of benefit in Islamic law. Data were collected through literature study and analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that the readiness of marriage age in Islamic Law can be carried out by prospective brides who have not or have reached puberty if they have fulfilled the conditions and pillars of marriage by paying attention to the benefits. Based on the Compilation of Islamic Law, the minimum age of marriage for men is 19 years and for women is 16 years. Based on Positive Law Marriage Law No. 16 of 2019 in Article 7 Paragraph (1) marriage is permitted if the man and woman reach the age of 19 years. If in certain circumstances married under the age of 19 years can apply for Dispensation to the Court with urgent reasons and supporting evidence. In early marriage, legal protection of children's rights includes age limits, marriage dispensation and protection of children's rights including protection of education and awareness, supervision and protection from violence, physical and mental readiness, agreement and consent in early marriage. With this protection, the rights of children in early marriage can be protected.
