Abstract

Kuliah kerja mahasiswa (KKM) merupakan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian mahasiswa kepadamasyarakat yang dilakukan sebagai salah satu wujud Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. KKMTematik tahun ini dilaksanakan secara luring di lokasi setingkat desa yang telah ditentukan.Sebagai salah satu program pendidikan non formal dan dalam rangka ikut mencerdaskankehidupan anak bangsa serta usaha melestarikan program pendidikan non formal melalui salahsatu program pemberdayaan masyarakat, kelompok 74 KKM Tematik UNTIRTAmengadakan revitalisasi taman baca. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini yaitu sebagai upayauntuk meningkatkan literasi dan wawasan masyarakat desa Mongpok Kecamatan CikeusalKabupaten Serang khususnya anak – anak dan remaja yang lebih baik dan berarah padaprogress atas kehidupan serta berkepribadian baik pribadi, kelompok ataupun masyarakat.Metode kegiatan revitalisasi taman baca ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu dimulaidengan identifikasi masalah dan Focus Group Discussion sampai dengan evaluasi program.Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu adanya taman baca telah meningkatkan kemampuan literasi,menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan warga Desa Mongpok.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan mata kuliah wajib bagi mahasiswa program sarjana Universitas Muslim Nusantara. Melalui program KKN ini, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu menerapkan dan mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang telah mereka pelajari di kampus dalam situasi nyata di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SD Negeri Tanjung Raja diketahui terdapat siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang redah terhadap materi-materi dasar pada mata pelajaran matematika, dan Sebagian dari mereka juga ada yang belum pandai membaca bahkan ada juga yang belum pandai mengenal huruf sama sekali. kegiatan bimbingan belajar bagi siswa merupakan salah satu program unggulanyang dilaksanakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang di hadapi oleh siswa di desa tersebut. kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pesrta didik pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, matematika, dan Bahasa inggris. Bimbingan belajar yang berupa pemberian dan penguatan tentang materi-materi dasar yang akan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa kepada pesrta didik. kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 juli-31 agustus 2024 setiap hari Senin, Rabu, dan Jum'at pukul 16.00 - 17.30 WIB dengan menggunakan ruang balai desa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa program bimbingan belajar dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pesrta didik terhadap materi-materi dasar pada mata pelajaran yang di sampaikan. hal ini dapat di lihat dari kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal dan mengkomunikasikan jawaban sewaktu bimbingan kelas dimulai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembelajaran melalui metode blended learning pada program kesetaraan paket C di PKBM Bina Sejahtera. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari satu orang pengelola lembaga, dua orang tutor, dan satu orang warga belajar program paket C. Teknik pengumpulan datapenentuan subjek diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling dan teknik triangulasi data. Pengumpulan data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian yaitu orientasi, eksplorasi, dan member check. Hasil penelitian dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses pembelajaran melalui metode blended learning pada program kesetaraan paket C di PKBM Bina Sejahtera sudah terlaksana dengan baik ditinjau dari latar belakang, pemahaman, penetapan alokasi waktu, sumber belajar, dan media namun dalam materi, strategi, pendekatan, dan metode perlu disesuaikan dengan metode blended learning. Adapun faktor pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu dukungan tutor, dukungan keluarga, partisipasi masyarakat, dan sarana yang menunjang kebutuhan pembelajaran. adapun faktor penghambat dalam pembelajaran, diantaranya minat, kesadaran, perhatian, dan motivasi dalam belajar warga didik yang perlu diperhatikan. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelatihan pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui keterampilan tata boga di PKBM Cendikia Cemerlang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) proses pelatihan dilatarbelakangi upaya pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga melalui keterampilan. Materi pelatihan 30% teori dan 70% praktik. Menerapkan metode group teaching method, mass teaching method, individual teaching method. Dengan teknik praktik, ceramah, diskusi, problem solving. Serta pendekatan andragogi. Menggunakan media cetak dan non-cetak. Dengan jenis evaluasi sumatif dan formatif. Hasil proses pelatihan yaitu peserta memperoleh bekal keterampilan dalam mengolah makanan dan menjadi pribadi yang komunikatif, kreatif, dan inovatif. (2) Faktor pendukung dalam proses pelatihan yaitu dukungan teman sejawat, keluarga, masyarakat, partisipasi tutor dan kesesuaian biaya. Abstract

The study deals with women’s language features used by Megawati Soekarno Putri at BPIP National Seminar: Kick-Off Pancasila dalam Tindakan. The aims of the research are to categorize the types of women’s language features used by Megawati Soekarno Putri and analyze the realization of women’s language features in Megawati Soekarno Putri’s speech. This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative research. The source of data was taken from script videos of Megawati Soekarno Putri’s speech at BPIP National Seminar on YouTube through BKKBN OFFICIAL Channel. The data is collected through downloading, watching, transcribing underlining and classifying the data. The data is analyzed by using interactive model proposed by Miles et.al., (2014). The findings showed that not all types of women’s language features were used by Megawati Soekarno Putri in speech at BPIP National Seminar. There were 234 utterances from nine types of women’s language features that occur in Megawati Soekarno Putri’s speech, they were 84 lexical hedges or fillers, 83 rising intonations on declarative, 13 intensifiers, 2 emphatic stress, 17 tag questions, 4 empty adjectives, 1 avoidance of strong swear words, 7 hypercorrect grammar, and 23 superpolite forms. The words found in Megawati Soekarno Putri's speech that related to the women's language features are mmm, uhh, ah, hmm, kayak/seperti (like), saya pikir/menurut saya (I think), and kayaknya/mungkin (maybe) for Lexical Hedges or fillers. ya?(right) And kan?(isn’t it) for tag question. Keren (cool), indahnya(wonderful), and cantik(beautiful) for empty adjectives. Banget, sekali (so) and banyak (very) for intensifiers. Memang, mengapa, bagaimana for hypercorrect grammar. Tolong(please), maaf(sorry), dengan hormat, beliau and madam for superpolite forms. Ya Allah for avoidance of strong swear words. Luar biasa! and sangat-sangat for emphatic stress.

Abstract

Textbooks are one of the media specifically designed to assist the learning process in a particular subject area. Textbooks have an important function, books that are used as handbooks for courses compiled and written by experts in their fields. Through textbooks, students are expected to be able to obtain information and various activity instructions in learning in each course. This study aims to develop Flipbook Teaching Materials in Mental Health Courses for Guidance and Counselling students of FKIP Sriwijaya University. Measurements in this study on the main data, namely the results of coursebook assessments on media validation, material validation, and language validation, as well as the results of the flipbook feasibility test by measuring student absorption of the material in the coursebook. This research uses the ADDIE development method with a series of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. the instruments in this study were expert validation sheets and respondent rating scales. The results showed media validation with a total average of 4.43 with the category "very feasible", material aspects total average of 4.7 with the category "very feasible", and validation of language aspects total average of 4.66 categorised as "very feasible". While the Flipbook effectiveness score with a respondent rating scale of 42 students. At the One to one stage, the N-Gain value was obtained at 0.786 with a percentage of 78.57% with the effective category, then at the Small Group stage, the N-Gain value was obtained at 0.766 with a percentage of 76.61% with the effective category and at the Field test stage, the N-Gain value was obtained at 0.767 with a percentage of 76.70% with the effective category. Thus it can be concluded that the Mental Health flipbook is effective for use in Mental Health courses. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the textbook with the title "Development of Flipbook Teaching Materials in Mental Health Courses for Students of the Guidance and Counselling Study Program at FKIP Sriwijaya University" is effectively used in learning Mental Health courses and achieving competencies according to the course learning outcomes planned in the Semester Learning Plan (RPS).

Abstract

Proficiency in English is essential for refugees as it significantly impacts their integration, social inclusion and self-reliance. In temporary host countries like Indonesia, refugees are keen to learn English before resettlement, but the COVID-19 pandemic hindered this process. Nevertheless, efforts to maintain English education at learning centers continued. What were the experiences of refugees learning English during COVID-19, and how did they navigate access to education amid the pandemic? This qualitative study examines refugees’ experiences in learning English during COVID-19 and their access to education. It focuses on two learning centers managed by Human Initiative (HI), a UNHCR partner organization in Greater Jakarta. Data was collected through interviews with UNHCR staff, Human Initiative employees, refugee students and volunteer teachers, along with class observations. The findings reveal that English instruction functions as a vital support system for refugees. The curriculum was adapted to accommodate their needs, with materials sourced online and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) methods applied to improve speaking skills. The study also highlights the obstacles faced by students, teachers, and management as well as highlighting their adaptive and flexible strategies for maintaining education in difficult circumstances.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore how adolescents performed towards their identity as learners in Sukma Bangsa School Pidie (SBP) through a phenomenographic approach. More specifically, the research had purpose to understand the way adolescents construct their learning identity in a school environment. The findings suggested that there were variations in the way adolescents experienced their learning identity that might encourage them to achieve different degrees of motivation, self-perceptions (self-efficacy, self-concept, and self-esteem), autonomy, and self-development towards their identity as learners. In this study, students exhibited a high level of self-efficacy and self-development, an average level of self-esteem and autonomy, and close to an average level of self-concept and motivation in constructing their identity as learners. The students also revealed that the highest accomplishment of their experiences was in showing their confidence towards learning attitude, whereas the lowest one was in adult attachment. Adult attachment therefore is pivotal to moderate students who have either low willingness to study or low self-conception.[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pembentukan identitas remaja sebagai peserta didik di Sekolah Sukma Bangsa Pidie (SBP) melalui pendekatan fenomenografi. Lebih khusus lagi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana remaja membangun identitas pembelajaran mereka di lingkungan sekolah. Temuan menunjukkan adanya variasi cara remaja membentuk identitas mereka, yang mendorong mereka mencapai tingkat motivasi, persepsi diri (self-efficacy, self-concept, dan self esteem), otonomi, dan pengembangan diri yang berbeda. Dalam penelitian ini, siswa menunjukkan tingkat self-efficacy dan self-development yang tinggi, tingkat self-esteem dan otonomi yang rata-rata serta konsep diri dan motivasi mendekati tingkat rata-rata. Pengalaman siswa yang paling tinggi menunjukkan kepercayaan diri terhadap sikap belajar, sedangkan yang terendah menunjukkan keterikatan pada orang dewasa. Oleh karena itu, keterikatan pada orang dewasa sangat penting bagi siswa yang memiliki kesediaan untuk belajar atau konsepsi diri rendah.]

Abstract

This study explored how adolescents reconstructed their roles as learners through learning identity and awareness by adult involvement in Sukma Bangsa Pidie (SBP) School. In order to monitor students’ attitudes and learning aspects’ progress, this research employed several observations and interviews (groups and individuals) either by videotaping or voice recording, also students’ database records from school information system (called SISTO). The previous findings advocated that there were variations in the way adolescents performed their learning identity that might encourage them to achieve different degrees of motivation, self-perceptions (self-efficacy, self-concept, and self-esteem), autonomy, and self-development towards their identity as learners. In the other study, the authors also found that students in SBP School were in various categories regarding their levels of learning awareness. It was exhibited by how students dealt with their own learning approaches and how high their existing willingness to learn was. The different levels of learning awareness were survival, establishing stability, approval, and loving to learn. Both learner identity and learner awareness level were almost similar in the way that adolescents experienced. As argued by previous well-known researchers, the child would grow as a good learner with positive improvement of self-concept and self-esteem. Also, the formation of positive self-esteem in adolescence became a bridge towards their success as demanding learners. Furthermore, adult (in this case teachers and parents) involvement with adolescents’ learning approaches may embolden the learners to become less or more autonomous people. Positive adult attachment therefore is pivotal to moderate students who have either low willingness to study or low self-conception. This study ultimately confirmed that there was a reciprocal relationship between learner identity (motivation, self-perceptions, autonomy, self-development) and learner awareness (survival, establishing stability, approval, loving to learn), then further will support the integrated effects on learner autonomy.

Abstract

This study aimed at describing the teachers’ perceptions, needs and challenges to the EFL Secondary teachers in using E-Learning Materials which contributed to the improvement of EFL teachers’ E-Learning personal and professional competency development. This research applies qualitative methods and uses case study as the research design. This research comprises a sample of 140 EFL teachers in Indonesia. The data was collected through questionnaire, interview to the participants and documentation of English learning materials and media. Then, the data was analysed by applying three techniques; data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results revealed that the perceptions of the teachers are they have adequate overview and competency for CPD E-Learning materials. Meanwhile, the needs of the teachers in the CPD E-learning activities should cover the combination of learner-led and e-coaching mode in the CPD E-Learning and served with both local and native experts to synchronise the local and authentic context. However, the researchers found that the challenges faced by the teachers are connectivity, teaching load and students’ varied competency.Keywords:     CPD E-learning materials, EFL, online learning
