Abstract

Abstrak: Menurut Tomlinson, guru dapat menggunakan berbagai macam aktivitas dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan setiap siswa, maka diharapkan seluruh siswa dapat mempelajari materi sesuai dengan pemahaman dan kemampuan masing-masing, mencegah terjadinya frustasi dan menumbuhkan kenyamanan dalam proses pembelajaran di era society 5.0 yang berlatar belakang sosial yang menuntut pembelajaran inovatif dan berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pola pembelajaran yang menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada Kurikulum Merdeka di kelas VII SMPN 1 Pemenang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-learning dengan metode blended learning atau hybrid yang menggabungkan pembelajaran secara daring dan tatap muka mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih komprehensif dan signifikan karena penggunaannya mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dengan penerapan metode dan inovasi pemanfaatan media bagi siswa dalam peningkatan pemahaman, ketrampilan belajar secara mandiri juga mampu menilai diri sendiri. Selain itu, metode ini juga melibatkan orang tua dimana hal ini sekaligus dapat mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia nyata dengan keterampilan yang lebih baik. Abstract:  According to Tomlinson, teachers can implement a variety of learning activities in differentiated instruction to address the diverse needs of students. This approach ensures that students can engage with the material according to their respective levels of understanding and ability, thereby minimizing frustration and fostering comfort in the learning process. In the era of Society 5.0—characterized by a socially-driven demand for innovation and technology-based education—differentiated learning becomes increasingly relevant. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of technology-integrated learning patterns within differentiated instruction as implemented in the Independent Curriculum. Using a qualitative research approach, this study explores real-world phenomena through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that employing e-learning through blended or hybrid learning models, which combine online and face-to-face instruction, offers a more holistic and impactful learning experience. This method enhances learning effectiveness by integrating diverse strategies and innovative media to support student comprehension, independence, and self-assessment skills. Moreover, the involvement of parents in this approach contributes to preparing students for real-world challenges by equipping them with more adaptive and relevant competencies

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui permasalahan implementasi fungsi-fungsi manajemen, Problema Pendidikan Tinggi Islam Implementasi fungsi-fungsi manajemen dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan tinggi Islam. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka (library risearch)bersifat deskriftif kualitatif. Sumber data studi dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data penulis melakukan identifikasi wacana dari buku-buku, makalah atau artikel, majalah, jurnal, web (internet), ataupun informasi lainnya yang berhubungan dengan judul penulisan untuk mencari hal-hal atau variabel yang berupa catatan, transkip buku, surat kabar, majalah dan sebagainya yang berkaitan dengan kajian tentang Implementasi Implementasi fungsi-fungsi manajemen dalam Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi Islam, Maka dilakukan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1)Mengumpulkan data-data yang ada baik melalui buku-buku, dokumen, majalah internet (web). 2)Menganalisa data-data tersebut sehingga peneliti bisa menyimpulkan tentang masalah yang dikaji. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 1)Pelaksanaan fungsi-fungsi manajemen sangat penting untuk mengatur semua kegiatan, baik kegiatan yang bersifat formal maupun nonformal.2)Problematika lembaga pendidikan tinggi Islam diantaranya problem manajemen, kepemimpinan, sumber daya manusia,finansial, dan kelembagaan. 3) Implementasi Fungsi-fungsi manajemen untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan Tinggi Islam akan mampu menjalankan kegiatan organisasi secara efektif dan efisien. Dan terwujud Peningkatan mutu lembaga pendidikan Tingi Islam,Pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan Tinggi Islam perlu diarahkan pada peningkatan mutu dengan melakukan pembenahan pada aspek perencanaan mutu, pengendalian mutu, dan peningkatan mutu.

Abstract

Social media is a product of technology that brings significant impact to spread information and connect people around the world and entertainment. As a result, users can access various information easily. In other hand, by using media social excessively lead to dependency that has appears numbers of symptoms that similar with addiction such as impairment in daily functioning (conflict), emerge negative emotions if unable to access social media (withdrawal), having trouble to decrease social media usage (relapse and reinstatement) and social media usage dominates in daily life (salience). However, it is very premature to determine that dependency to social media as a kind of addiction due dependency to social media can be declined without clinical intervention. One of the reasons for declining social media usage is caused by burnout which indirectly pushes the users to keep away from social media. Even though the negative impact from media social usage can not to be ignored due excessive access bring negative consequences to mental health.

Abstract

In SMP 40 Pekanbaru, many problems of students in the learning process IPS caused by external factor as the influence of friends environment and internal factors as learning approaches, methods, media or learning tools are used. These problems must be repaired because in addition to results in student learning outcomes that are still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), the learning of Social Sciences (IPS) also has a central role in the intellectual development of social, emotional students and is a supporting success in studying of the other fields of study. The reseacrh was designed with the class action research by the Kemmis and McTaggart models in the form of spiral cycles. The results showed that the application of role palying learning methods have improved IPS learning outcomes of VIII.D graders at SMP 40 Pekanbaru in the years of 2017th with an average value class and the percentage of KKM achievment during the pre actions was 69.3 and 36%, in the cycle I was 78.6 and 69%, and in the cycle II it became 85.1 and 95%.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and speaking ability of grade 9 of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Jambi. This research was quantitative research which used correlational technique design. The research sample was 40 students in grade nine, and total sampling was used. The instruments used in the study were a vocabulary test and a speaking test. The vocabulary test consisted of 20 questions in the form of 10 multiple choices, 5 matches up, and 5 fill blank and a speaking test in the form of describing something for 3-5 minutes. The correlation was measured through Pearson Product Moment. The results showed a strong relationship between vocabulary mastery and students' speaking ability, meaning that students' vocabulary mastery increased in line with students' speaking ability. It can be concluded that students' vocabulary mastery and speaking ability are good, and the correlation between students' vocabulary mastery and speaking ability is at a very strong level.

Abstract

This paper examines the translation of non-standard orthographic features of the Australian Aboriginal English (AAE) dialect in Sally Morgan’s biographical novel My Place into the Indonesian language. Addressing the challenges posed by linguistic and cultural untranslatability, this study explores three key questions: (1) What strategies are employed by the translator to convey the AAE dialect into Indonesian? (2) How do these strategies influence the transfer of the original message? (3) What alternative strategies could mitigate linguistic and cultural loss, especially given the sociolinguistic gap between AAE and Indonesian? Following J. K. Chamber’s (2004) features of vernacular universals, the analysis identifies four primary types of non-standard orthographic features of AAE in My Place: (1) Alveolar Substitution in –ing Ending Verbs, (2) Deletion of Initial Unstressed Syllable, (3) Eye Dialect, and (4) Morpheme Simplification. Findings indicate that the translation often fails to retain AAE as a distinctive literary dialect, which is largely due to the absence of equivalents in Indonesian language. The translator predominantly uses standard Indonesian renderings, which reduces the portrayal of non-standard elements of the source text However, the study emphasizes compensation as a practical strategy to minimize translation loss. By compensating for the loss of non-standard effects through other means, such as using elements of a local dialect from the target culture in the translation, translators can maintain the centrality of dialect within the story. Although the exact level of non-standardness may not be fully replicated, this approach preserves some of the cultural and linguistic uniqueness, offering a balanced compromise that conveys the broader essence of AAE dialect in the target text.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka melihat keterhubungan antara kebijakan yang telah diatur oleh pemerintah melalui alokasi dan ruang ke dalam implementasi kebijakan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah daerah dalam kaidah-kaidah pemanfaatan kawasan konservasi, serta melihat bagaimana keterlibatan dan persepsi masyarakat di sekitar kawasan konservasi dalam upaya pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan kawasan konservasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap kawasan konservasi secara umum positif, dimana mayoritas responden (72,4%-96,2%) mengakui manfaat kawasan konservasi terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ekonomi desa mereka. Masyarakat juga setuju terhadap pembatasan zona laut, meskipun pengetahuan mereka tentang aturan konservasi, seperti zonasi inti dan pemanfaatan berkelanjutan, masih terbatas. Rendahnya tingkat pendidikan (58% hanya menyelesaikan sekolah dasar) dan akses informasi menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi keterbatasan ini. Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan kawasan konservasi terlihat dalam beberapa aspek, seperti pengawasan aktivitas illegal fishing, partisipasi dalam zonasi, dan pengembangan ekowisata berbasis komunitas. Namun, tantangan besar meliputi konflik kepentingan antara konservasi dan kebutuhan ekonomi, lemahnya penegakan hukum, serta minimnya anggaran dan infrastruktur untuk mendukung pengelolaan kawasan. Dinamika akses dipengaruhi pada lingkungan kebijakan yang memungkinkan dan melumpuhkan berbagai aktor untuk memperoleh, mempertahankan, atau mengendalikan akses sumber daya atau dinamika mikro tentang siapa yang memperoleh manfaat dari sumber daya dan bagaimana.

Abstract

Hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases such as stroke and heart failure. Non-pharmacological interventions are increasingly recognized as essential alternatives, particularly due to the potential long-term side effects associated with antihypertensive medications. This study aims to examine the effect of foot soak therapy utilizing warm water, salt, and lemongrass on blood pressure reduction among individuals with hypertension. The study was conducted on 25 hypertensive residents of Anjir Serapat Muara Village. A quasi-experimental approach employing a one-group pretest-posttest design was implemented. The findings revealed that 92% of participants experienced a decrease in blood pressure following the therapy. This foot soak therapy demonstrates potential as a complementary intervention in the management of hypertension within community settings and has been proven effective in lowering blood pressure in the majority of participants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya bahan ajar audio-visual untuk dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi kalor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar audio-visual yang valid, praktis serta dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai materi kalor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tahapan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Dessiminate). Tahap Dessiminate tidak dilakukan karena adanya keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas SMP N 1 Pariaman. Terdapat dua instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu: lembar validasi terkait dengan penilaian ahli dalam bidang fisika terhadap kebahasaan, substansi materi, tampilan bahan ajar, desain pembelajaran serta software dan lembar praktikalitas guru serta siswa terkait dengan penilaian keterpakaian produk dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada tahap pendahuluan, inti dan penutup. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas produk kepada dosen ahli fisika didapatkan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 85,9 dengan kategori sangat valid. Produk yang dikembangkan juga praktis digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menurut guru dengan rata-rata penilaian 85,6 dan praktis menurut siswa dengan rata-rata penilaian 85. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik untuk tes awal dan tes akhir siswa didapatkan nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar video dan animasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi kalor.Practicality of Video and Animation Media in Junior High School Physics LearningThe lack of audio-visual teaching materials to improve students’ understanding of the heat material is the background of this research. The purpose of this research is to produce audio-visual teaching materials that are valid, practical and can improve students understanding of the matter of heat. This type of research is research and development with 4D stages (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The existence of time and cost constraints disseminate stage is not done. The sampling technique in this research is Cluster Random Sampling. The sample of this research is the students of class  SMP N 1 Pariaman. There are two instruments used to collect data in this research: validation sheet related expert assessment of Physics to linguistic, material substance, display of teaching materials, design of learning, as well as making software, and sheets of practicality of teachers and students related to assessment of product usage in learning activities in exploration, elaboration and confirmation. Based on the result of the product validity test the lecture of Physics got the average appraisal of 85,9 with very valid category. The product is also practically used in the learning activities according to the teacher with the average assessment 85,6 and practical according to the students with the average appraisal 85. Based on the result of statical tests for the initial test and the final test of students obtained t-test higher than t-table, so it can be concluded that the use of video and animation teaching materials can improve students understanding of the heat matter.

Abstract

Based on observations and interviews with a science teacher at a junior high school in Pesisir Selatan Regency, it is known that there are still many science teachers who have not carried out practicum activities in scientific learning. Science kits are rarely used by teachers in science learning. The main reason is that the competence of science teachers in operating the science kit is still low. To improve the competence of science teachers in using KIT, it is very necessary to carry out activities to optimize the use of KIT for science teachers. The purpose of this study was to improve the competence of science teachers in using IPA KIT as a support for scientific learning. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest using multiple choice test instruments at the beginning and at the end of the study. From the results of this study, it is known that there is an increase in the competence of science teachers in using science kits, with the percentage increase of 29.25%.
