Abstract

Maksud dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data mengenai komitmen kerja pegawai di dinas pariwisata pemuda dan olahraga Kota Bukittinggi yang dilihat dari beberapa indikator yaitu identifikasi, loyalitas, disiplin, dan keterlibatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, populasi dari penelitian adalah semua pegawai yang ada di dinas pariwisata pemuda dan olahraga Kota Bukittinggi yang berjumlah 63 orang pegawai. Instrumen penelitian ini berbentuk rtingscaledengan 5 pilihan jawaban. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Identifikasi pegawai di dinas pariwisata pemuda dan olahraga Kota Bukittinggi terdapat pada kategori baik dengan 4,19. Hal ini berarti pegawai telah baik dalam melakukan identifikasi dengan organisasi. (2) Loyalitas pegawai di kantor di dinas pariwisata pemuda dan olahraga Kota Bukittinggi dalam kategori baik pada skor 4,05. Artinya pegawai telah baik dalam loyalitas kerja pada organisasi. (3) Disiplin pegawai di dinas pariwisata pemuda dan olahraga kota Bukittinggi terdapat pada posisi baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,91. Artinya pegawai loyal terhadap organisasi. (4) Keterlibatan pegawai dinas pariwisata pemuda, olahraga kota Bukittinggi pada posisi baik pada skor rata-rata 4,23. Artinya pegawai telah terlibat dalam organisasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pelaksanaan pengelolaan kelas guru yang dilihat dari menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang tepat, pengaturan ruangan belajar, pengelolaan interaksi kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMKN 1 Payakumbuh dengan jumlah 448 orang. Pengumpulan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan sampel 10 % yaitu 85 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket. Angket ini menggunakan model skala Likert. Angket yang digunakan sudah diujicobakan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang tepat berada pada kategori baik, memperoleh TCR 83,24%. pengaturan ruang belajar berada pada kategori cukup, memperoleh TCR 78,12%. pengelolaan interaksi kegiatan pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik, memperoleh TCR 84,09%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut kesimpulan keseluruhan pada pelaksanaan pengelolaan kelas adalah berada pada kategori baik memperoleh TCR 81,82%.

Abstract

This study aims at know the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia and Japan by using five indicators, namely the objectives of Education, education management, education budget, education personnel and salaries, and the process of evaluation of learning. The method used in this research is the study of literature with a qualitative descriptive approach to see the comparison of basic education in Indonesia and Japan, the study of literature using a qualitative descriptive approach is to gather a number of references relevant to the topic of this study. The reference is taken from national journals and international journals which are then reviewed according to the needs in this study. The results of the study shows that the comparison of Basic Education Indonesia can be seen from four aspects, namely This is due to several indicators, namely (1) differences in education objectives, (2) education management; (3) Japan Education budget; (4) his education and salary; and (5) learning processes and evaluations. This study only emphasizes on five indicators of Basic Education of Indonesia and Japan. there are gaps that can be filled by subsequent research, namely curriculum, political system, character education, and so forth. This research should contribute to the policy makers of the Indonesian Education system in order to apply the five indicators of Japanese basic education to the Indonesian basic education system.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of mathematics are caused by the ineffectiveness of learning carried out by teachers. Innovation is needed that is in line with the development of communication technology. One of the innovations in the development of teaching materials in the form of e-modules that are contextualized with students' daily lives. The purpose of this study is to ditermined the effectiveness of the developed mathematics e-modules using the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach in improving the mathematics communication skills of the elementary students. This study is a follow-up to the results of the validity and practicality tests of the e-module that has been developed. The development of e-modules using 4Ds models. In the previous studies, the validity of the developed e-module was tested through expert judgement, and the practicality was tested through individuals, small and large group trials. The effectiveness of the developed e-module was tested through pretest-posttest control group design using essay test; with 26 students at the experimental class and 24 students at the control class. Data were analyzed using t-test and N-gain score. The research found that the t score is 3,706; and the N-gain score is 63.81% for experimental class, and 58,85% for control class.  These results indicate that the use of developed e-modules based on the RME approach can improves student mathematical communication skills. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed e-module-based on RME approach is effective to improve the mathematical communication skills of the elementary students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the critical thinking skills indicators and aspects of prospective elementary school teachers in mathematics-science integration lectures on electrical circuits and mathematical logic lesson. This research uses random sampling technique in which 30 first semester students were chosen randomly from one of university in Padang region West Sumatera Indonesia. This research uses Research and Development (R and D). The critical thinking skills are seen from processes, observations, and tests. The process of critical thinking skills of prospective elementary school teachers on the average of critical thinking skills indicator is 84% in strategies and tactics, 80% in advanced clarification and 83% in elementary clarification, basic support, and inference. The result of observing the critical thinking skills of prospective elementary school teachers on the average of each lectures is significantly increased to be 81.9%. The results of pre-test and post-test were increased significantly. It is shown from N-gain of 0.7 to be medium category.

Abstract

Organizational diagnosis is one of the main components in planning change. Organizational diagnosis is fundamental to school development. This can be seen from the organization's diagnosis through technostructural intervention, because it is related to organizational design, employees/employees, and work design. Technostructural intervention method focuses on changes in organizational structure and design, so it tends to be more focused on organizational infrastructure aspects. This method will produce the output of increasing attention to productivity and organizational effectiveness in schools, such as the quality of work culture and methods for designing all components in schools. Schools need to know and strive to meet existing indicators or criteria in order to become a growing organization with high integrity.

Abstract

The principal is a school policy maker. During this Covid-19 pandemic, the Principal must think about how the education he leads is so that the teaching and learning process can run properly. This Research aims to find out how the Principal’s policies in implementing online learning for teachers and students during the COVID19 Pandemic. With the hope that students get quality education and can be achieved optimally. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with field studies. The research's object was Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Negeri 3 Padang, and the research subject is the principal and teachers. Data sources were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used was data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results indicated that the principal of  Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Negeri 3 Padang had the policy to implement face-to-face learning and the number of students based on the health protocol. Principals, class-teachers, subject-teachers, and guardians of the students work together to make the policy successful.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe magnitude of the Covid-19 impacts outbreak on the scope of education encourages changes in the learning process to be able to break the chain of spread of Covid-19 by applying online learning activities for all levels of education. It is quite possible for students to find difficulties during online learning and make students' learning motivation decrease. So, to deal with these difficulties, intelligence is needed that can help students stay afloat or called Adversity Quotient (AQ) which can ultimately increase students' learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Adversity Quotient and find out its effect on learning motivation. This research approach was carried out with quantitative research, there were 108 respondents based on cluster random sampling techniques. As for the data collection of this study using a 5-point likert scale questionnaire, it is then analyzed with a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study that Adversity Quotient reviewed from the aspects of control, origin and ownership, reach, and endurance are in the category quite well. There is the influence of Adversity Quotient and student learning motivation positively and significantly with the contribution of influence to be in the high category.Keywords: Adversity Quotient, Learning Motivation, Online Learning

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan besar di Indonesia maupun di masyarakat dunia adalah masalah sampah. Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan Pesisir Selatan juga memiliki permasalahan yang sama yaitu banyaknya sampah organik dan anorganik yang dapat dilihat di sepanjang pantai sehingga mencemari lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Kondisi ini disebabkan karena budaya atau perilaku masyarakat di daerah tersebut yang belum/kurang sadar akan lingkungan. Masyarakat di daerah ini mempunyai kebiasaan buruk, yaitu suka membuang sampah ke laut dan juga ke sungai, yaitu Sungai Tarusan. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan sampah tersebut adalah dengan mendukung kebijakan dunia yang dituangkan dalam kebijakan SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah adalah melakukan transfer ilmu melalui workshop atau pelatihan tentang penerapan program zero waste (bebas sampah) dalam sistem memanajemen sekolah.
