Students comprehension of mathematical concepts is one of the factors that affect the learning outcomes of Mathematics. Students comprehension of mathematical concepts are still low in the SMPN 11 Padang seen from the results obtained studying Mathematics. The research aims to determine whether the students comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply SAVI approach with techniques Numbered Head of Structured better comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning students at class VII SMPN 11 Padang. This type of research is experimental research, the design of randomized trials on the subject. The research instrument was a test of comprehension of mathematical concepts. Form of test used is a form of essays with a reliability test = 0.945. Based on hypothesis testing with MINITAB obtained P-value = 0.017, it can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts that apply SAVI approach with techniques Numbered Head of Structured better comprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional teaching students in class VII SMPN 11 Padang with level 95 %.

This background research is based on the studentsâ concept comprehension of mathematical which still lower so as impact it makes low  their learning result to the students at Junior High School  Muhammadiyah 6 Padang in seventh class. This research aims to know what is comprehension of mathematical studentsâ concept by applying model study of type cooperative of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) better than comprehension of mathematical studentsâ concept with conventional study at students Junior High School Muhammadiyah 6 Padang in seventh class. The type of this research is an experiment research with take of random to subject. Research population is all students Junior High School Muhammadiyah 6 Padang in seventh class, period 2012 / 2013. Intakes of samples are conducted randomly. Chosen class is class of VII.2 as experiment class and class of VII.3 as control class. Research instrument is final test which in form of essays with reliabilities test is 0,91. Technique analyses data which is use test of t one side constructively MINITAB.  Based on the result of hypothesis test obtained P-value equal to its 0,008 meaning smaller than α that is 0,05. So that can be concluded that comprehension of mathematical studentsâ concept by applying model study of type cooperative of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) better than comprehension of mathematical studentsâ concept with conventional study at student Junior High School Muhammadiyah 6 Padang in seventh class.

This research is based by the lack of understanding of the mathematical concepts that lead to low student math achievement of studentâs. This research is aimed at knowing wheather the understanding of the mathematics concept of the students who are treated by used implementating cooperative learning methodâs Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) is better than understanding of the mathematics concepts of the students with conventional teaching class VIII SMPN 4 Lembah Melintang West Pasaman and to determine the effectiveness of application of the cooperative learning methodâs  Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in mathematics class VIII SMPN 4 Lembah Melintang West Pasaman. This type of research is experimental with random study design on the subject. The technique of data analysis used was the Mann-Whitney test with the help by MINITAB. Based on data analysis, it is known that both sample classes does not normal distribution and homogeneous distribution at α = 0,05. Hypothesis test result obtained probability value = 0,0199 is less than  α = 0,05, so  the hypothesis is accepted. Consequently, it can be concluded that the understanding of the mathematics concept of the students who are treated by used implementing cooperative learning methodâs Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) is better than understanding of the mathematics concept of the students with conventional teaching class VIII SMPN 4 Lembah Melintang Kabupaten West Pasaman.

This research is lower of studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept  comprehension at eighth grade students of SMPN 1 west Pasaman and lack to given chance for approach their idea in learning process. One of step the problem by using type Index Card Match (ICM) strategy in learning mathematics. So this research is aim to know studentâs understanding of mathematical by using Type Index Card Match (ICM) Strategy was better than conventional learning toward studentâs at eighth grade SMPN 1 Sungai Aur west Pasaman. Population in this research is the eight class student of SMPN 1 Sungai Aur west Pasaman academic year of 2012/2013. The sample is taken randomly. The experiment class is VIII5 and the control class VIII1. The instrument in this research is mathematical concept understanding test like esay. Data by analysis with using test normality, test homogeneity and t-test. The researcher to analyse the data, the researcher got the result post test which using the students understanding of mathematical concept the experiment class is 73,62 and the control class is 63,61. Hypothesis test is using MINITAB with t-test, got probabilitas = 0,002 is smaller than  0,05. Then it can be concluded that studentâs understanding of mathematical concept using active learning type Index Card Match (ICM) strategy is be better than conventional learning toward studentsâ at eighth grade SMPN 1 Sungai Aur west Pasaman.

This research are  motivated by the lack of teachers who raise students  knowledge to express opinions / ideas regarding the content to be learned. One method to overcome this problem is to adopt a strategy of Generative Learning. This study aims to determine the students understanding of mathematical concepts using Generative Learning Strategy was  understanding of mathematical concepts was better  than students who used conventional teaching seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Padang. This type of research is experimental research study design for subjects randomized. The study population was all students in class VII SMP Negeri 10 fields listed in the school year 2012/2013. Random sampling technique and terplih VIIg class as the experimental class and the control class as a class VIIe. The research instrument is essay test with a reliability test was 0.90. Based on the analysis of the data found that the two classes are normally distributed and homogeneous samples. Hypothesis test results obtained P-value <α. Thus, it can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts using Generative Learning strategies are better than student understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional teaching seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Padang.

Studying process which is taken place at SMPN 2 Sungai Beremas is tending to one way process, teacher is a centrall of all learning process. Teachers dominate all activities at class, and still many students cheat when doing exercise. This is why hasnât understanding mathematic concept well, proved by so many students got low mart. So this research is aim to know studentâs understanding of mathematical concept by using cooperative learning types Student Teams Achievem Division (STAD) with student work sheets is better than cooventional ways. The kind of research is experimental research. the population in this research is the eight class student of SMPN 2 Sungai Beremas academic year of 2013/2014. The sample is taken randomly, the experiment class is VIIIB and the control class is VIIIA. The instruments in this research is mathematical concept understanding test like essay. The result of research shows that students understanding of mathematical concept using cooperative learning types Student Teams Achievem Division (STAD) with student work sheets is better than conventional ways. Hypotesis test is using minitab with t-test, obtained P-value = 0,024  = 0,05 whichis specified, then it can be concluded that studentâs understanding of mathematical concept using cooperative learning Student Teams Achievem Division (STAD) with student work sheets is better than conventional ways that is used in control class.

The research was motivated by the students comprehension of mathematical concept at eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Lembah Melintang is still low. It is caused by the learning process still focuses on the teachers and group learning is not maximized. This research aims to 1). Determine how the development of students comprehension of mathematical concept in the experimental class, 2). Determine whether students comprehension of mathematical concept by using technique of Two Stay Two Stray with Speed Test was better than students comprehension of mathematical concept that apply conventional learning at eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Lembah Melintang. Type of this research is experimental research by using randomized control group only design. Based on the value of speed test students comprehension of mathematical concept was increased at each meeting and the results of the data analysis obtained from the average of results of studentâ learning in the experimental class was 69.35 higher than the control class was 58.97. It can be concluded that students comprehension of mathematical concept by applying technique of Two Stay Two Stray was better than students comprehension of mathematical concept that apply conventional learning.

This research is backgrounded by the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts and students prefer to ask other students Students more quiet deep lawsuit handcuffing. This research aims to know is students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies Group to Group with LKS type better than student understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning. This research is experimental, with random designs on the subject. The population in this research were all students of class VIII  SMPN 1 Ampek Nagari Lubuk Basung. The selected sample class VIII.5 class as the experimental class and the control class VIII.3 class. The instrument that used in this research is the final test in the form of essay with the reliability test was 0.456. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average outcomes of student learning in experimental class was 77,79 bigger than the control class 67,68. hypothesis testing using t-test with the help of MINITAB, obtained p-value = 0.021 is smaller than α = 0.05. This research based of the lack of the studentsâ comprehension of mathematics concepts. This condition can be shown from studentsâ mathematics achievements of class VIII MTsN Palangki of Sijunjung Regency in 2012/2013 Academic Year. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectivity of the application of cooperative learning type Think Talk Write toward the comprehension of studentsâ mathematical concepts and  influence of the application of cooperative learning type Think Talk Write toward the comprehension of studentsâ mathematical concepts. This research is kind of experimental research with the design random on the subject. The population of this research is students in class VIII that consist of 6 classes. The instrument that is used in this research is questionnaire about learning effectivity and post test in form of  essays with reliability of the test is 0.93. Technique of data analysis is using one side T- Test with MINITAB. The result of hypothesis test is gotten that P-value 0.008 is smaller than α that is 0.05, so the research hypothesis can be accepted. Consequently, it can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts with the application of cooperative learning type Think Talk Write is better than conventional learning in the class VIII of MTsN Palangki of Sijunjung Regency.

The research was due to the lack of studentâ interest, motivation and activities during teaching and learning process. Students tent to be more individual. The teaching process was teacher-centered. The studentsâ understanding of mathematic concept was low. It was seen from their mathematic result. That was grade VIII students of SMPN I Basa Ampek Balai 2012/2013 year of entrance. The research aimed at understanding how far the students of grade VIII SMPN I Basa Ampek Balai understood the mathematic concep using active learning the Power of Two technique with a quiz, whether it was better than the convensional one. The design was experimental research using random sampling technique. The populasion was students of grade VIII SMPN I Basa Ampek Balai. Based on the result of random sampling tekhnique, grade VIII.4 was chosen as the experimental group, while the grade VIII.6 as the control group. The instrument used was a quiz and essay mathematic test. The reliability of the test was 0.825. Based  the data analysis, it was obtained tyhat both class were homogeny and normal. The technique analysis data used was one way to test. Based on the analysis of hypothesis using MINITAB, it was obtained that the p-value=0.002 was < α=0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded thad studentsâ math concept understanding using active learning The Power of Two with a quiz was better tahn that of conventional technique with the 95% degree of certainty.
