Abstract

Learning motivation is an important factor that drives students to continue learning optimally. Therefore, lecturers in education units need to conduct studies on student learning motivation in their classes so that they can help optimize student learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of motivation of Physical Education students in participating in basic research courses. This research is qualitative descriptive. The subjects involved in this study were 29 students. Data collection instruments used observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The research data that has been collected is analyzed using data triangulation assisted by percentage analysis using 5 categories, and qualitative descriptive so that the research results are easy to understand by readers. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the motivation of Physical Education students in participating in basic research lectures is in the very high category. From the results of this study, it is recommended for students maintain their learning motivation and increase learning motivation on indicators of being tenacious in facing difficulties

Abstract

Komunitas Sekitar Pendidikan merupakan komunitas yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan non formal yang berlokasi di Gang Angket, Pontianak Timur, Kalimantan Barat. Komunitas ini beranggotakan anak-anak yang tinggal di Gang Angket untuk mengikuti kelas pengembangan hard skill. Melalui tutor (pengajar) berbagai materi pembelajaran diberikan pada setiap sesi pertemuan. Namun, pengembangan hard skill anak di komunitas Sekitar Pendidikan terkendala pada suasana pembelajaran dan tingkat pemahaman anak yang berbeda-beda. Pentingnya pemahaman anak untuk menyerap materi pembelajaran melatar belakangi tulisan ini untuk mengetahui proses komunikasi tutor dalam mengembangkan hard skill anak di komunitas Sekitar Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui proses komunikasi tutor dalam mengembangkan hard skill anak di komunitas Sekitar Pendidikan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mewawancarai tutor dan observasi langsung untuk memahami proses komunikasi yang terjalin. Hasilnya, proses komunikasi diawali pemberian materi oleh tutor melalui teknik komunikasi pervasif, informatif, persuasif dan instruktif. Materi dan media pembelajaran digunakan tutor disetiap kelas pengembangan hard skill. Efek yang dihasilkan pada kelas matematika, public speaking dan musik berupa pemahaman serta penguasaan hard skill.

Abstract

Masa kanak-kanak dini adalah masa di mana anak mengalami pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dimulai dari usia 0-6 tahun. Anak-anak tumbuh dengan karakteristik yang berbeda sesuai dengan aspek perkembangan anak. Pada tahap ini, aspek perkembangan anak, termasuk perkembangan sosial-emosional, memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan anak karena anak belajar berinteraksi dengan lingkungannya, bermain, berbagi, dan bersosialisasi. Tentu saja, mereka harus dibiasakan sejak dini agar anak dapat menghadapi tantangan yang terjadi di sekolah dan lingkungan rumah mereka. Kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Timbuolo Tengah, Kecamatan Botupinge, Kabupaten Bone Bolango, dihadiri oleh kepala desa beserta stafnya, orang tua murid TK dan guru PAUD serta masyarakat setempat. Kegiatan ini memberikan pemahaman tentang perkembangan sosial emosional anak dalam menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan pra sekolah. Perkembangan adalah proses di mana pertumbuhan berubah seiring waktu, tergantung pada kematangan dan interaksi dengan lingkungan. Perkembangan sosial emosional anak perlu dikembangkan sedini mungkin karena jika sulit untuk berkembang maka anak akan kesulitan berkomunikasi dengan orang lain dan anak akan kesulitan menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan sekitarnya.

Abstract

Animasi Java 2D merupakan topik yang menarik dalam pengembangan grafis komputer. Jurnal ini membahas pengembangan animasi 2D dengan menggunakan Java 2D sebagai kerangka kerja. Kami memulai dengan memberikan latar belakang tentang animasi komputer dan pengenalan Java 2D sebagai alat pengembangan yang kuat. Selanjutnya, kami menjelaskan langkah-langkah praktis dalam pembuatan animasi 2D. Jurnal ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan praktis bagi pengembang grafis komputer yang tertarik untuk menciptakan animasi 2D menggunakan Java 2D. Dengan memahami konsep dasar animasi, penerapan Java 2D, dan langkah-langkah pengembangan, pengembang dapat menciptakan animasi yang menarik dan berkualitas, sehingga memperkaya aplikasi grafis komputer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang protektif bagi anak dari segala bentuk kekerasan, eksploitasi, penelantaran dan perlakuan salah lainnya, serta untuk memenuhi hak anak dalam pendidikan ketika berhadapan dengan hukum. Metodelogi penelitian ini menggunakan pelatihan dan sosialisasi regulasi sekolah ramah anak untuk kepala sekolah dan guru di menggunakan metode partisipatif, ceramah dan diskusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pemerintah berkewajiban menjamin pemenuhan hak anak dengan melaksanakan kebijakan sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam ketentuan Pasal 21 ayat (5) Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2014 tentang Perubahan Atas Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2002 tentang Perlindungan Anak, yang diwujudkan melalui upaya membangun Kota Layak Anak. Regulasi menegaskan bahwa pertanggungjawaban orang tua, keluarga, masyarakat. Pemerintah merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang dilaksanakan secara terus menerus demi terlindunginya hak-hak anak. Rangkaian kegiatan tersebut harus berkelanjutan dan terarah guna menjamin pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, baik fisik, mental, spiritual maupun sosial. Tindakan ini dimaksudkan untuk mewujudkan kehidupan terbaik bagi anak yang diharapkan sebagai penerus bangsa yang potensial, tangguh, memiliki nasionalisme yang dijiwai oleh akhlak mulia dan nilai Pancasila, serta berkemauan keras menjaga kesatuan dan persatuan bangsa dan negara. Kota Banda Aceh, ibu kota Provinsi Aceh, sudah dua kali mendapatkan anugerah Kota Layak Anak kategori nindya atau tingkat ketiga. Capaian itu menjadi motivasi bagi pemerintah setempat untuk meraih predikat lebih tinggi.

Abstract

This research is entitled “The Role of School Committees in Improving the Quality of Facilities and Infrastructure at MTs Mambaul Ulum Musi Banyuasin". The main objectives to be achieved through this research are: (1) to determine the role of the school committee in improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Mambaul Ulum Musi Banyuasin, (2) to determine the factors supporting and inhibiting the role of school committees in improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Mambaul Ulum Musi Banyuasin. In this study using a qualitative approach. In the process of collecting data, the author uses the method of interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: First, the role of the school committee in improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Mambaul Ulum, includes: (1) as an advisory agency: the MTs Mambaul Ulum committee as a partner of the principal has given its considerations in every plan and programs that have been prepared by the school. (2) as a supporting agency, the role of the school committee as a supporting body for efforts to improve the quality of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Mambaul Ulum, can be in the form of financial support, energy, and mental support. For example, the committee helped build school facilities and infrastructure. (3) as the controlling agency, the school committee at MTs Mambaul Ulum controls or supervises the principal's decision-making or education planning in schools. (4) as a mediator (executive) the school committee as a liaison or mediator between the government, school parents and the community means that the aspirations of parents and the community or there is delivery of the school to the parents of students are all through the school committee. Second: The quality of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Mambaul Ulum is adequate and decent.

Abstract

The article explores the advancement of character education in psychology for sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 157 Palembang. The research employs qualitative techniques encompassing interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings from this approach indicate the typical character traits. the students in the class vary. However, overall, sixth-grade students tend to have religious, disciplined, and cooperative characters. The understanding of the school principal, religion teachers, and parents regarding the development of children's psychology in character education has received a positive response. Collaboration and open communication between the school and parents are crucial for the child's psychological development in character education. The head of the school enforces the school's vision and mission aiming to cultivate students characterized by religiosity, discipline, honesty, and compassion for others. Based on the aforementioned results and analysis, it can be inferred that the advancement of child psychology in character development at SD Negeri 157 Palembang, particularly for sixth-grade students, manifests positive growth. Abstract

This research is titled "Implementation of Teacher Performance Supervision at SD Negeri 88 Palembang." This study aims to understand how the implementation of teacher performance supervision is carried out at SD Negeri 88 Palembang. The research design employed in this study is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of the research indicate that the implementation of teacher performance supervision has been carried out effectively and regularly every year. The stages of teacher performance supervision consist of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The program for teacher performance supervision has been executed according to the established plan, and the process has been well-implemented. This is evident in the procedural execution of teacher performance supervision, covering the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. In the planning stage, the school head forms a supervision team and reviews records or documents related to the subject of supervision. The implementation stage involves using the classroom visitation technique, where the school head actively participates in the field. Finally, the evaluation stage assesses the results of the well-executed supervision, with the school head, supervision team, and subject of supervision collectively discussing the outcomes. Challenges in the implementation of supervision include the duration or timing of supervision. School heads may sometimes have limited time to conduct supervision, and teachers may not always be prepared for the routine supervisory process, viewing it as a daunting activity because their superiors are the ones evaluating them. Solutions to these challenges include effective time management by school heads and changing the mindset of teachers to see supervision not as a threatening activity but as an evaluation tool to improve their performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the evaluation of new student admissions through the zoning system is conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Sembawa Banyuasin. The researcher employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion. To ensure data validity, the study uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. The research findings indicate that the evaluation of new student admissions through the zoning system at SMP Negeri 2 Sembawa Banyuasin has been well-implemented. The evaluation shows indicators such as transparency, openness, fairness, and equity. The evaluation of new student admissions through the zoning system has been carried out effectively, adhering to the zoning admission process by ensuring transparency, openness, fairness, and equity for all members of the community wishing to enroll their children at SMP N 2 Sembawa

Abstract

Hipertensi dan diabetes mellitus merupakan penyakit degeneratif yang paling berisiko tinggi, terkadang kedua penyakit ini tidak mengalami gejala, jika tidak dikelola dengan baik, maka dapat mengalami komplikasi stroke bahkan sampai dengan kematian. Aceh merupakan daerah paling banyak yang mempunyai pasien dengan penyakit degeneratif, hal ini ditinjau dari budaya makan masyarakat Aceh yang tinggi kadar lemak dan karbohidrat, sehingga bisa memicu penyakit stroke. Tujuan penelitian adalah memperoleh cara pengelolaan hipertensi dan diabetes melitus dengan baik untuk mencegah stroke. Metode penelitian menggunakan riset kualitatif dengan desain participatory action research. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Aceh dengan 30 partisipan. Hasil penelitian setelah dilakukan focus group discussion, wawancara, dan observasi dengan partisipan ada 23 partisipan yang mampu mengelola hipertensi dan diabetes, sehingga hipertensi dan diabetes dapat terkontrol dengan baik dan dapat mencegah terjadinya stroke. Kesimpulan diperoleh cara pengelolaan hipertensi dan diabetes untuk mencegah stroke. Rekomendasi bahwa pengelolaan hipertensi dan diabetes melitus dengan baik dapat mencegah stroke.
