Abstract

Abad 21 membawa perubahan yang cepat akibat kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Pergeseran paradigma dalam pembelajaran terjadi akibat pergantian kurikulum, terkhusus Kurikulum Merdeka. Kurikulum Merdeka diperkenalkan sebagai sebuah inovasi yang memungkinkan institusi pendidikan beradaptasi dengan kebutuhan peserta didik dan kondisi zaman yang terus berkembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana keterkaitan kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka dapat berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21 melalui pembelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan berupa studi literatur dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber yang relevan. Secara keseluruhan, pembelajaran IPS pada Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, kreativitas, dan komunikasi, yang merupakan pilar utama dalam keterampilan belajar abad 21. The 21st century brings rapid changes due to advances in science and technology. Paradigm shifts in learning occur due to changes in the curriculum, especially the Merdeka Curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum was introduced as an innovation that allows educational institutions to adapt to the needs of students and the changing conditions of the times. The aim of this research is to explore how the relevance of the Merdeka Curriculum policy can contribute to developing 21st century skills through social studies learning. The method used is literature study using various relevant sources. Overall, social studies learning in the Merdeka Curriculum provides a strong foundation for students to develop critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication skills, which are the main pillars of 21st century learning skills.

Abstract

Social skills are the ability of individuals to interact and communicate effectively, encompassing elements such as empathy, cooperation, and good communication. In an educational context, social skills are essential for students’ academic success and emotional well-being, as well as helping them build positive relationships with peers and teachers. Social Studies (IPS) learning in Elementary Schools aims to develop students’ understanding of society and human interaction, as well as to shape the character and social skills needed to become good citizens. Learning methods such as project-based and group discussions can increase student participation, but barriers such as lack of interest and monotonous teaching methods can interfere with engagement. Research shows that social skills have a significant impact on student participation in learning, and the application of cooperative methods can improve social skills as well as academic learning outcomes. Thus, the integration of social skills in IPS learning can create a more interactive learning environment and support the development of student character.

Abstract

Minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) sering kali rendah, terutama di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD). Sifat materi IPS yang abstrak dan terkesan monoton sering membuat siswa kurang antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa adalah gamifikasi, yaitu penerapan elemen-elemen permainan dalam konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendekatan gamifikasi dalam meningkatkan minat belajar IPS siswa SD melalui kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gamifikasi berdampak positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik dan interaktif. Penerapan elemen-elemen permainan seperti poin, lencana, tantangan, dan papan skor mampu meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPS. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan gamifikasi dapat dioptimalkan dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa SD.

Abstract

This research examines the integration of technology in Social Sciences (IPS) learning through the use of applications and digital platforms as an effort to increase student interaction. Along with technological developments, the role of digitalization in education is increasingly relevant, especially in facilitating interactions between students, teachers and learning materials. This research aims to identify the impact of using interactive learning applications, such as Google Classroom, Kahoot!, and Padlet, on student engagement in the social studies learning process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies in several secondary schools. Data was collected through observation, interviews and questionnaires to teachers and students. The research results show that technology integration not only increases student participation, but also makes it easier for teachers to deliver material in a more interesting and interactive way. Additionally, digital platforms encourage collaborative learning and provide broader access to educational resources. In conclusion, the use of technology in social studies learning has the potential to increase the effectiveness of learning interactions and encourage better learning outcomes. Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) melalui penggunaan aplikasi dan platform digital sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan interaksi siswa. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, peran digitalisasi dalam pendidikan semakin relevan, khususnya dalam memfasilitasi interaksi antara siswa, guru, dan materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif, seperti Google Classroom, Kahoot!, dan Padlet, terhadap keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus di beberapa sekolah menengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner kepada guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi tidak hanya meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, tetapi juga mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi secara lebih menarik dan interaktif. Selain itu, platform digital mendorong pembelajaran kolaboratif dan memberikan akses lebih luas kepada sumber daya pendidikan. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran IPS berpotensi meningkatkan efektivitas interaksi pembelajaran dan mendorong hasil belajar yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses dalam pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas 5 SD. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan pendekatan ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber seperti buku dan jurnal dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep IPS serta mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini juga mengusulkan solusi atas tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan metode ini. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of applying the process skills approach in Social Studies learning for 5th-grade elementary school students. Additionally, it identifies challenges faced during the implementation of this approach. The method used is a literature review, analyzing relevant sources such as books and journals from the past five years. The findings suggest that the process skills approach improves students' understanding of Social Studies concepts and fosters critical thinking skills. The study also highlights solutions to the challenges faced by teachers when implementing this method.

Abstract

Humanistic theory views learning as an activity of the whole human person involving intellectual and emotional aspects. Learning with humanistic theory focuses more on the learners themselves where they become the main character in the learning process. This research is motivated by our curiosity about how the application of humanistic theory to improve student learning achievement in elementary social studies learning. The objective to be achieved in the research is to review the relevant literature on how the application of humanistic theory in social studies learning in elementary school. The method used in this research is literature study. Literature study was chosen because it provides a comprehensive overview of previous results related to the topic discussed. Data collection techniques are done using documentation techniques by collecting data sourced from books and articles. Teori humanistik memandang belajar sebagai kegiatan dari keseluruhan pribadi manusia yang melibatkan aspek intelektual dan emosional. Pembelajaran dengan teori humanistik lebih berfokus kepada peserta didik itu sendiri dimana mereka menjadi tokoh utama dalam proses belajarnya. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keingintahuan kami tentang bagaimana penerapan teori humanistik terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS SD. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji literatur yang relevan tentang bagaimana penerapan teori humanistik dalam pembelajaran IPS di SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian kali ini yaitu studi pustaka. Dipilihnya studi pustaka karena memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai hasil-hasil terdahulu terkait topik yang dibahas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dengan mengumpulkan data-data yang bersumber dari buku dan artikel.

Abstract

This study aims to reanalyze the use of audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of Social Studies in Elementary Schools. Research with the title "The Use of Audio-Visual Media on Social Studies Learning Outcomes" has been conducted extensively before. However, there has not yet been a further review of the research results that summarizes and analyzes the impact of using audio-visual media on Social Studies learning outcomes. Audio-visual media is a set of tools that combine sound and image elements, thereby instilling concrete concepts that can be seen, heard, and observed. This research method uses a qualitative research method with descriptive analysis techniques combined with library research, which involves using various supporting literature references in the data collection process without going into the field. From the research results, all studies indicate a consistent improvement in learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject at elementary schools. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kembali penggunaan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar IPS di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dengan judul Penggunaan Media Audio Visual terhadap hasil belajar IPS sudah banyak dilakukan sebelumnya. Namun, belum terdapat kajian lebih lanjut mengenai hasil penelitian yang merangkum dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Media audio visual adalah seperangkat alat yang memadukan unsur suara dan gambar sehingga dapat menanamkan konsep konkret yang dapat dilihat, didengar dan diamati. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif yang dipadukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu menggunakan berbagai referensi literatur pendukung dalam proses pengumpulan data tanpa terjun ke lapangan. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan selalu adanya peningkatan hasil belajar di mata pelajaran IPS di SD.

Abstract

The alpha generation is another term for children born in 2010 to 2025. The alpha generation is closely related to the use of technology products, especially gadgets. Therefore, this generation is also called the digital generation. Technology offers many benefits to humans, but technology can also create opportunities for students to exhibit deviant behavior. This is a special concern for teachers because it can affect the development and change of student behavior, especially basic education students. Therefore, teachers need to know what challenges and strategies can be applied in dealing with students from the alpha generation. Therefore, this study aims to identify challenges and strategies that can be applied by teachers in dealing with this generation of students based on behavioristic theory. This research is qualitative research with the method used is a literature study. Data is obtained from journals, articles, books and other documentation related to this topic. Based on the analysis of the results of the literature study, it was found that the challenges faced by teachers are related to mastery of technology and teachers' creativity in creating innovative and differentiated learning and becoming inspiring mentors for students. With this research, it is hoped that it can be knowledge for teachers in dealing with students at school based on its characteristics. So that the learning process and knowledge transfer can run well and achieve national education goals.

Abstract

The development of student character is an essential element in education that must be consistently nurtured to promote positive growth. A well-designed curriculum plays a pivotal role in achieving this objective. This study investigates the impact of the Merdeka Curriculum on students' character development. The research used a quantitative approach with a survey design focused on five driving schools in Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. Data collection methods included in-depth interviews and comprehensive documentation studies. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive techniques to provide a thorough understanding of trends and outcomes. The findings highlight that SDN 25 Banawa achieved the highest overall scores, while SDN 16 Banawa recorded the lowest average score among the schools studied. Despite this variation, a general upward trend in character development was observed across all schools over the past three years. The results indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has a measurable positive effect on student character development. Nevertheless, active involvement from parents is deemed crucial to enhance further and maximize this developmental process. Therefore, fostering strong collaboration between schools and families is strongly recommended to optimize the potential of the Merdeka Curriculum in shaping the character of students in a comprehensive and sustainable manner

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to analyze digital transformation and the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) in higher education, particularly in the post-pandemic era. Through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the article reviews 10 relevant studies to understand the impact and challenges of technology implementation, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), in higher education institutions. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital technologies, but many universities, especially in developing countries, face infrastructure and resource limitations. The article finds that while MIS can improve operational efficiency and learning, its implementation is still hindered by high costs and a lack of technical skills. The research gap identified is the absence of a holistic and sustainable implementation model in developing countries. As a novelty, the article proposes a collaborative model for MIS implementation, allowing multiple universities to share resources and knowledge. Furthermore, the article recommends the development of comprehensive digital transformation strategies that not only focus on technical aspects but also involve human resource management and data-driven decision-making. With this approach, higher education institutions can be better prepared to face future challenges and create a more inclusive and efficient educational experience.
