Abstract

This research is classroom action research which is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the learning process in class. What influences low student learning outcomes is the lack of student activity in the learning process. Plus the learning process uses a monotonous lecture method. This research aims to find out whether applying the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing) learning model to the Human Excretory System material can improve the learning outcomes of class XI MIPA 5 UPT SMAN 3 Wajo students. The subjects of this research were all students of class XI MIPA 5 UPT SMAN 3 Wajo for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 31 students. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle held 3 meetings. The learning process for each meeting is designed by applying the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, and Sharing) learning model. The instruments used were student activity observation sheets and student learning outcomes tests in the form of multiple choices. At the end of each cycle, a learning outcomes test is carried out. Based on the research results, it shows that there is an increase in student learning activities from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I the percentages were 29.5%, 37.6%, and 46.2%. Meanwhile, in cycle II the percentages were 58.6%, 67.2%, and 78.4%. This was followed by an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I with a percentage of 41.9% to 87.1% in cycle II. From these results, it can be concluded that implementing the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping, Sharing) learning model, can improve student learning outcomes in Biology lessons in Class XI MIPA 5 UPT SMAN 3 Wajo.

Abstract

The Center for Plasma Research (CPR), Diponegoro University, as the institution that drafted SNI 8759:2019, continues to oversee it implementation. In this paper, we report the successful implementation of SNI 8759:2019 at the chili center in Batu Bara. This success is strongly supported by the producer cooperative "Berkah Abadi Jaya". At the end of May 2021 there will be a chili harvest throughout Indonesia. Chili prices in the Batu Bara chili farming area fell sharply. Chili is bought by a wholesaler for Rp. 7,000.00 per kilogram. The cooperative buys from the farmers as much as Rp. 10,000.00/kg and Rp. 10,500.00/kg and save as much as 835 kg. The collaboration between the research team and the “Berkah Abadi Jaya” Cooperative has synergistically succeeded in applying ozone plasma technology for large-scale chili storage during the main harvest. These saved chilies are resold to the market when prices have improved. The application of plasma ozone technology in chili centers through washing fresh chili grade 1 using ozonized water and storing it in a refrigerator at a temperature of 80 C can extend the shelf life of chilies to 2 months. This application has provided a double benefit for farmers when their crops are purchased by cooperatives. In addition, farmers who are members of the cooperative also benefit by reselling chilies that have been stored at a higher price, which is between Rp. 16,000.00 - Rp. 23,000.00. The quality of chili stored with this technology has been previously investigated by the CPR and examined for confirmation for storage in the chili center of Batu Bara Regency.

Abstract

In a democratic rule of law like Indonesia, delegated legislation emerges as a necessity. Unfortunately, Article 8, paragraph (1) of Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Establishment of Laws and Regulations, in conjunction with Law Number 13 of 2022 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 12 of 2011, fails to articulate a clear hierarchy of delegated regulations. Employing a juridical-normative research approach encompassing statutory, historical, and conceptual dimensions, this study sheds light on the prevailing legal vacuum. The research reveals that a staggering 24,052 regulations at the level of Ministries, Agencies, and State Institutions run the risk of overlapping and becoming subject to judicial review in the Supreme Court. The definition of Delegated Legislations in Indonesia, as interpreted herein, is confined to regulations whose legal construction is executed by the executive, as long as formal legal norms continue to confer the authority of delegation in the legislative domain to implement superior regulations. This paper identifies three distinct models governing the structuring of Delegated Legislations within the hierarchy of laws and regulations in Indonesia. These models include the Hierarchical model based on the legal foundation of institution formation, the Hierarchical model based on the position of the institution, and the Hierarchical model based on the source of delegated authority in forming rules. This nuanced exploration seeks to address the complexities surrounding delegated legislation, aiming to provide clarity and coherence within the Indonesian legal framework.

Abstract

Human resources are part of company assets that need to be managed well because they have a big influence on company performance. Tower division PT. Kunango Jantan is a business group engaged in the manufacture and strengthening of towers. Workers in the tower division are currently not fully structured well because there are still workers who have more than one position, which makes the workload felt by workers high and can disrupt worker productivity. So research is needed to idetermine the workloadi received by each worker using the Full Time iEquivalent (FTE) and Workload Analysis (WLA) methods. In this research, using the FTE method, it was found that there wasi an imbalance in the workload of each tower division worker in the overload category. For this reason, the company makes improvements by paying more attention to the capabilities and work facilities of each worker and can add additional workers. Using the WLA method, the optimal number of workers is 28 out of the actual 13 workers in the tower division.

Abstract

This article scrutinises the Al-Qur'an and Hadith as a source of Islamic education which is a reference and way of life for Muslims. However, there are still many worlds of Islamic education that have not fully implemented the Qur'an and Hadith as real sources (Syamil Mutakammil) in Islamic education, except only dwelling on symbols, discourses and studies. So, Islamic religious education should actually refer to the pattern of prophetic education, by prioritizing the role of exemplary and learning models based on the formation of faith and morals and the concept of brotherhood which is full of values, as the educational model applied by the Prophet when he was in Mecca and Medina. Thus, there is an equivalence of normative quality and applicative quality in values and meanings

Abstract

Education brings changes to a better standard of living, has an impact on the level of human welfare and happiness. So it would be very naïve, when education is not made a priority in life there will be inequality and all things, stagnation in thinking and weakness of human morality which leads to the occurrence of various kinds of pathologies that disturb humanity and undermine civilization. Finnish education seems to be an inspiration for better education with all its models and strategies, which have succeeded in making Finland the country with the best level of education in the world. The Daaru Tahfiz Islamic Boarding School in the Agam Regency of West Sumatra initiated the application of this educational model in existing activities, so as to achieve better results in improving the quality and character of the students.
